✩ so he'd try to blow off some steam at the gym, he always hit it on the way home so you wouldn't find it out of the ordinary. But he'd stay a little longer than usual. Trying so, so hard to just shake the feeling off so he can come home to you and relax. But he can't. It sits on his chest worse than any of his anxieties ever could. So he cleans up the area he was using, throws his things into his duffle, and heads home.

✩ he'd show up back to your shared apartment and throw his duffle somewhere out of his sight. His shoes discarded by the door and keys dropped somewhere next to them. And then you'd walk out.

✩ "Hi baby!" So sweet and so kind, already in your pajamas, waiting for him to come home. "Long day?" It was an innocent ask of course, but it clicked a gear in place in his mind. i am soooo imagining like, settled in domesticity w/ big boy. he gets used to you and you don't flinch anymore when you see him coming towards you, you're adjusted to it all (mostly) and tommy really loves your presence. some afternoons, when he doesn't have many chores and you've got some free time, you play hide and seek on the farm. there's so many good hiding spots! and tommy knows almost all of them and ends up showing you where they are, because losing the game is so worth seeing you beam at him with that bright smile. just don't hide too good for too long or he'll start to get nervous, worried you might've run off or grown tired of playing with him.

he's got lots of games he wants to play with you--some as innocent as hide and seek, and some a little...well, spicier. but for the most part he really likes doing the simple things with you. nobody else in the family has played tag or run through the sprinkler with him since he was young, and even then, it was just uncle charlie and momma who would give up once their joints started hurting. having someone around that he can be playful with without fearing him hurting them is a gift. he can tackle you when you try and cut through the cornfields during tag, and instead of screaming he gets to hear your laughter and squeals as you try to wriggle away. when he finds out he can tickle you, it's all over. he has trouble stopping when he starts, but you're so cute he can barely help himself.

and sleeping in the same bed.....he just has to lie on top of you at least once. head on your chest, fingers in his hair, he's like a log and sleeps like one too. he not only doesn't care about being the little spoon either, he loves it. be his little jetpack. climb on top of his back and sleep there if you want, so long as you're touching him he couldn't care less. uncle charlie hates how 'soft' you make tommy, but he can't say much when the boy starts all his chores early just so he can finish up and spend time with you. the farm's never been so productive with him seeking out every task he can take care of so nothing will interrupt his time with you. he's never been so happy. and it's real hard to take that away from him, not mentioning the fact that he'll get real possessive if anyone starts talking about excluding you from the family. they won't have to answer to tommy in that case--they'll be answering to leatherface.

Hello Sleepy, I hope you’re doing well! This isn’t much of an ask but more of a little gift. I am amazed by your work and the creativity behind your characters, along with the storylines! I hope I am not crossing any boundaries when I say I have drawn your OC Jade. The twist? She met my character (which I’m still working on) in a comic I made for you! I have no intentions on changing your characters storyline or taking any credit of Jade; if I crossed a line or did anything wrong I apologize IMMENSELY.

The comic takes place in London outside Jades florist shop. This is when our characters are on the civilian side and off duty. There was an accident outside of the building and after a long terrible month for Soot (my characters nickname until I finish her biography), she happens to witness the accident. She acts on instinct and adrenaline, leaping right into action to help the victim.

As she addresses the man like routine she hears a voice, it’s a woman. Particularly, it’s Jade who had heard the commotion and investigated. I’d like to think with Jades background and her kind heart she doesn’t hesitate to give a helping hand where it’s needed. Until proper Responders arrived on scene, Soot and Jade were able to help save this man’s life.

Now although the very lazy sketch of a comic I scribbled, I did draw a flat colored picture. This takes place after the accident. Soot, with the routine down to a T, takes the ambulance back to the hospital with the man. She doesn’t interfere with the medical professionals, she’s been there done that, Soot just wants to be there for the patient and for the family when they eventually arrive to the hospital. To answer any questions and possibly provide comfort.

Now PLEASE correct me if I am wrong, I took a wild chance at this— Jade also goes to the hospital, but on her own. She wanted the same thing Soot did, to be there for the family and provide any comfort/closure if possible. It’s rare that this occurrence even happened ecspecially with it right outside her Floral Shop.

As Jade waits in the waiting room patiently for what seems like two hours, she is approached out of nowhere by a familiar figure. The woman she voluntarily gave her helping hands too. As observant as Jade is, she recognizes an exhausted look on this lady’s face that was clearly built over the course of years.

“Thank you,” is gently whispered by Soot to Jade, standing quiet and tired in front of her. They don’t know each other, maybe they eventually will or maybe they won’t. But they worked together like they had known one another forever.

First Encounter:

Again, I hope I did not cross any boundaries. I have no intentions on taking, altering or changing your OC and her storyline! All credit goes to you. I also hope I drew Jade correctly, I read her favorite color is lilac so I included that— braids are so hard to draw help :,)

but i will explain how the au is in my head:

basically eggs are humans that turned into pokemon, in this case right here it's Chayanne and Lullah! Depending on which egg's perspective they will crash-land on a place closest to their parents which I guess will be their partner pokemon kinda? They are like the tutorial part of the game but they can be optional partners you can take with(further into the story though)! Anyways back to death family, Chay and Lullah crash-landed in a forest nearby where Phil and Missa happen to be. They took them in ofc and helped them with their injuries and such(after going through a cave or something). In good ol' mystery dungeon fashion, Chay and Lullah reveal that they are human to Phil and Missa, they are a bit suspicious at first but believe them and are willing to help them return back home. But uh oh! Missa can't save up this much money to feed himself, Phil, and their new friends :( Don't worry though! Missa has connections with soulfire so he can set up a small rescue team for them, he even sewed them their scarfs :D Chay and lullah question why Phil can't be in a rescue team but Phil and Missa were oddly quite about it... Throughout the story Chay and Lullah discover more things about Phil and Missa, Phil being a wanted criminal since he lead a team(a team which caused A LOT of trouble or so the pokemon would say). Find out more about the world and the pokemon that live in it. Oh and also finding out that THEIR SIBLINGS ARE ALSO IN THIS WORLD. Also also they find out that the world is in danger from a certain group of pokemon wanting to control the world :0

jimmy/kim (better call saul) - love is stored in the breaking bad prequel!!! they are like a couple out of an old movie and they are here to reshape better call saul into a time travel romance. idc what they did to howard sorry i like howie but if he had to be sacrificed on the altar of their scheming so be it!!! and i love the tiny flame of color in their shared cigarette in the finale. jimothy and kimothy 4ever sorry to all the haters who could not handle your power.

root/shaw (person of interest) - i love their unconventional non-normative romantic relationship. and at the same time "she wanted you to know, if you were a shape, you'd be a straight line. an arrow" is genuinely one of the most romantic lines ever spoken on television. also as stated above i love when one half of the ship turns into a god while the other one remains on earth as their mortal champion. i would not change the end of their story for the world i think it is so beautiful.

utena/anthy (rgu) - again i love the unconventional non-normative thread of their relationship and how it challenges typical romantic tropes and ideas especially about power. they love each other but they are friends first and that's what matters most. ten years from now they will be hanging out with chu-chu and their cat in an undisclosed location facetiming with nanami and laughing at some outlandish story she is telling them.

elphaba/glinda (wicked) - moreso in the book bc i prefer the bookverse characters but i do also ship them in the musical and doubtless in the movie as well when i get around to watching it. they find each other so charming and funny and they are both so annoying and insufferable i love them. and also the "for good" of it all is so real. genuinely one of the most songs ever and applies to all versions of them. i am less fond of the musical than i am of the book but credit where credit's due schwartz and holzman were absolutely right to build the show around their relationship.

yellow diamond/blue diamond (steven universe) - white diamond called yellow "so strong...but so weak when it comes to blue" and i'm, what, not supposed to be obsessed with them? it's not my fault that love is stored in the intergalactic space dictators who are trapped in the universe's worst group project. their physicality is also so crazy like when they beam into the courtroom in "the trial" and blue is like tucked into yellow's neck?? ok. also finding out that blue used her emotional abuse powers on yellow for 5000 years just kind of made me love them more. they have a toxic gay failmarriage and they don't even know it. epic.

castle/beckett (castle) - i haven't had strong feelings about these two beyond gentle affection in a long time but i recently have been rewatching castle and ummmm i had forgotten that their chemistry is truly insane. they are just so fun to watch together. also one of the most romantic moments in tv ever is when beckett is steeling herself to talk to the guy who stabbed her mother and castle is like. do you know why i decided to base a character off of you. and she tiredly is like why. and he just says because you're tall :) and makes her laugh. he doesn't give some grand speech or make it about him he just sees that she needs to smile so he helps her smile. <333

madoka/homura (pmmm) - remember what i said about loving when one half of the ship turns into a god while the other one remains on earth as their mortal champion. well. also i love that homura's love for madoka is what makes madoka the main character of the story and gives madoka the power to change the kind of story they're in that's so good.

ruby/christina (lovecraft country) - i truly don't know how to describe them i feel like you just have to experience them but like. christina helping ruby find her true uninterrupted self is so good. ruby letting herself have something just for herself through christina is so good. also christina being able to shapeshift into a man adds this gender-fuckery layer to the ship that's extra good. and the in-law drama is beyond juicy lord knows i love a ship with in-law drama. also the finale isn't real and can't hurt me. <3

Hot take all of her bad behavior is just from being an unchecked child and she'll grow out of most of it. I actually don't like the concept elf bullies Harrison bc she has a crush on him- (don't get me wrong this is 0 Nerrison hate I just don't like when they start from that.) I think she's actually jealous? Threatened of him maybe? Hear me out, before David had all their names remembered he was pulling a Cameron and grouping some together. Specifically only Nerris and Harrison. Nerris reacted childishly like children do and didn't take kindly to that and saw Harrison as immediate competition. (They even argue at one point about who's the most magical.) So that's why she targets him and treats him like a loser to keep him down and make herself feel higher.

It gives me the same vibe kids competing with each other academically rather than in sports bc once something is labeled as a team Nerris actually seems to do okay in it. So I think this is a behavior she learned way more in school, and why I HC her to be one of those honor student types who likes being recognized as the teacher's favorite.

I don't believe Nerris is even that deeply aware of the whys and how's of why they act like this. They just do things, man. Then do silly little flossing dances after.

They probably played movie star planet and all the other child website roleplaying games and started fantasy roleplaying groups on there which was probably difficult with all the family roleplays and wolf clans being a way more popular choice to pretend as. Elf needed something to do in the winter when it got too cold to larp outside !!!! They probably switch over to more writing based forms of roleplay as they got older.

In the show we actually see her playing a game called "Pixies and Pythons" or something instead of DND and there's like hot pixie women on the cover and I'm choosing to believe she DIDN'T bring that from home camp campbell just has offbrand EVERYTHING.

Both of her parents sew and they make all of their costumes for her and I like to think Nerris is very "navy blue starry wizard" aesthetic so they mostly stick to that. Her mom's supportive and will add anything she wants to it but her dad gets excited with hisown ideas and opinions too.

I think Nerris' gender exspression being neutral might've got them certain comments in school and why she specifically decided to make her character's title "Nerris the cute" and why often the first thing she aims against Harrison is his looks. (That, or, the "Nerris the cute" is a title her dad came up with for her before she could. Yes I'm saying this man brought the baby to larp in a carrier.)

Has a whooole collection of dice and she gives some to her friends when they come over but has to specifically pick out the ones she DOESN'T want anymore first.

Them and Harrison are Lord of the Rings VS Harry Potter. (It's possible to like things without supporting, liking, or agreeing with the creator of it. Nerris knows this...) Lays on the ground... It's the devotion that gets me with Kylar I think. The desperation, a little bit, how much he reminds me of some scrawny stray absolutely capable of turning and tearing into some threat, but just as capable of loving PC with as much warmth as someone so deprived of it for as long as he has been can. i think i was going to say something along the lines of this!! i think kylar as a character is very animalistic in both the ways that they act and their unkempt appearance. yeah. i really like giving kylar any and all tfs just because it gives them an opportunity to truly be unhinged! (and also, kylar staking a claim on pc/sydney/anyone is rlly hot....)
