Dia De Los Muertos Celebration!

Today is Day of the Dead. Traditionally a time of remembrance, it is when friends and family pay their respects to those who have passed on to the other side.

In our Declaration of Principles, We believe that communication with the so-called dead, is a fact, scientifically proven by the phenomenon of Spiritualism.

Come to our church and get your spirit greeting to demonstrate the continuity of life thus providing comfort in your times of grief. While a medium communicates with your dearly departed loved ones that have transcended the veil, you may be surprised at the information given to you that only you would know and understand!

We are open to the public. Our Sunday service begins at 11 AM beginning with our healing service. We conclude our service with messages from spirit after our sermon. Refreshments are available after service to all who attend!

Great ad for W.H. Bach’s “Psyche: The Mysterious Cabinet” from the 1890s. What’s great about this ad is that it came from Bach’s own archive of Spiritualist newspapers and documents, which he meticulously collected and preserved when he noticed that the historical record of the early Spiritualist movement was vanishing. Using his position as the founding Secretary of the National Spiritualist Association of Churches, he put the call out to member to send old materials to him, and the archive was stored in the attic of the NSAC headquarters in the famous Spiritualist community, Lily Dale. Seeing these requests in the historical record, my associates and I in IAPSOP (the International Association for the Preservation of Spiritualist & Occult Periodicals—yes we’re a real thing!) rediscovered the existence of Bach’s accumulated and hidden archive, but were denied access many times over until I paid them a personal visit accompanied by the ever-charming Ms. @chloe___alexis. The introduction led to a friendship with the then-Secretary, Bach’s successor many times over, and my colleagues and I were granted access to the trove to digitally scan and preserve them, which are now available for free download at IAPSOP.com. It was an amazing adventure to gain access to a true lost treasure of my discipline’s history, and the tens of thousands of pages of new information we recovered has proven invaluable to scholars. As for Bach’s board, it is a fantastic hand-crafted piece free some nails or metal of any sort, so as to not interfere with spiritual transmissions, and the hollow bottom was designed to accumulate and focus the medium’s Odic force to facilitate communication from beyond. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN FIREWORKS. WALK DON’T DRIVE. SPARKLERS ARE PERMITTED (but only in designated areas).

Doors will open at 5pm followed by the bonfire being lit at 6pm. The firework display will start at 7pm. There will be a live band ‘The Surge’ between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

There will be a large gazebo and various small ones housing BBQ, beers, different gins and vodka’s, hot food and drinks and stalls with sweets, cakes and toys. This will be a great family event with a spectacular firework display. For further information email northowramsportsclub@gmail.com

Welcoming in December!

On December 1st, Michael Zavala is our scheduled guest speaker. His speeches are delightfully enlightening and his messages profoundly accurate! Please join us at 200 W. Colorado Blvd. in historic Monrovia. We begin service with a healing session. All are welcome! Please join us!

On December 8th, Karen Glenn is scheduled to speak on natural laws regarding God's promise of eternal life. As vice president of our church she is a generational physical and mental medium. Healing service starts at 11 am, then devotional service, followed by spirit greetings. Open to the public, all are welcome to attend .

On December 15th Sandra Ferrera is scheduled as our guest speaker. Sandra is a gifted speaker and fabulous songstress. Her words are uplifting and she brings a sparkle of light as she connects you with loved ones on the other side. Please join us at 11 am for healing followed by our weekly sermon. A spirit greetings session finalizes our weekly service.

On December 22nd, Sandra Ferrera returns again. This time with a special Christmas message! There is a beautiful holiday celebration right after service as well. Our tree is fabulously decorated thanks to designer Robin Quiroz who put together the theme. Refreshments will be served after church for all who attend. Please join us at 11 am. Located at 200 W.
