I just think, NM looking at his boys laid over the floor and couch with blankets and pillows and mess. They're all asleep, whatever dumb movie series they were marathoning on Netflix is paused by the "are you still watching?" Screen. They're all dead asleep.

Watching his pieced together little family, they look so peaceful. He pulls blankets over them, and turns off the TV. Then he looks at them, tucked in, resting together, some of them snuggled up together... and he cries.

What would he do without them?

i love steve and rogers relationship sm omg its so cute. like ik they are suppose to have a ‘brother-type’ relationship but i legit feel like steve would think of rog as a brother to him. like whenever he was old enough to realize he had an older sister he wished he had a brother to hang out with instead. whenever stan brought home roger from area 51 steve immediately fell in love with roger and knew they would have a great bond with each other which ofc they do.

having roger around meant he could now do and play things with him that hayley might not want to do like like perhaps make forts with him or play truth or dare or camp in the backyard and even to this day in his teens doing things like camping in steves room and their ‘wheels and the legman’ get up.

most siblings tho they canonically have their moments of bickering, betrayal, and pettiness and have temporary times where they want nothing to do with each other but in the end though they always still love one another 💕

I get what you mean by the whole “SW era is that it flips the roles and now the humans are possessed by the mascots instead of the mascots being possessed by humans” thing, but the wet floor sign bots are possessed. They are called ‘soul bots’ in the files. So while I do agree that there is a more focus on sentient ai and not just dead people possessing animatronics, that doesn’t mean that’s not a thing in modern fnaf anymore.

i agree w u about this, but also we have no clue what souls theyre talking about with the wet floor bots. i know they make children sounds but also wet floor bots are very associated with bonnie and surround him, and after deactivating them all BONNIES eyes go dark. so like u said about sentient animatronics maybe the wet floor bots held bonnies soul

Yesterday [April 30, 2024], a bipartisan collection of US Senators introduced the Fans First Act, which would help address flaws in the current live event ticketing system by increasing transparency in ticket sales, and protecting consumers from fake or dramatically overpriced tickets.

Today, the artists and Congressmen allege, buying a ticket to a concert or sporting event requires negotiating a minefield of predatory practices, such as speculative ticket buying and the use of automated programs to buy large numbers of tickets for resale at inflated prices.

The legislation would ban such practices, and include provisions for guaranteed refunds in the event of a cancellation.

The political campaign organizers, calling themselves “Fix the Tix” write that included among the supporters of the legislation is a coalition of live event industry organizations and professionals, who have formed to advocate on behalf of concertgoers.

This includes a steering committee led by Eventbrite [Note: lol, I'm assuming Eventbrite just signed on to undermine Ticketmaster and for PR purposes] and the National Independent Value Association that’s supported by dozens of artistic unions, independent ticket sellers, and of course, over 250 artists and bands, including Billie Eilish, Dave Matthews, Cyndi Lauper, Lorde, Sia, Train, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, and hundreds more which you can read here.

“Buying a ticket to see your favorite artist or team is out of reach for too many Americans,” said Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN).

“Bots, hidden fees, and predatory practices are hurting consumers whether they want to catch a home game, an up-and-coming artist, or a major headliner like Taylor Swift or Bad Bunny. From ensuring fans get refunds for canceled shows to banning speculative ticket sales, this bipartisan legislation will improve the ticketing experience.”

Senators Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Ben Ray Luján (D-NM), Roger Wicker (R-MS), John Cornyn (R-TX) and Peter Welch (D-VT) also signed on to the Fan First Act.

In the House, parallel legislation was just passed through committee 45-0.

[Note: That's a really good sign. That kind of bipartisan support is basically unheard of these days, and rare even before that. This is strong enough that it's half the reason I'm posting this article - normally I wait until bills are passed, but this plus parallel legislation with such bipartisan cosponsors in the senate makes me think there's a very real chance this will pass and become law by the end of 2024.]

“We would like to thank our colleagues, both on and off committee, for their collaboration. This bipartisan achievement is the result of months and years of hard work by Members on both sides of the aisle,” said the chairs and subchairs of the Committee on Energy and Commerce.

“Our committee will continue to lead the way on this effort as we further our work to bring this solution to the House floor.”

“The relationship between artist and fan, which forms the backbone of the entire music industry, is severed,” the artists write. “When predatory resellers scoop up face value tickets in order to resell them at inflated prices on secondary markets, artists lose the ability to connect with their fans who can’t afford to attend.”

Look at the architectural feature and floor. This is different.

All sorts of cut-out walls. It's so interesting.

The kitchen is right next to the living room and it's open, but not extremely open concept. I prefer a less open floorplan.

The kitchen is so bright. Look at the sun reflecting off the appliances.

The dining room is thru an arch on the other side of the kitchen. Nice layout.

Then, there's a family/TV room that is carpeted to give it a warm feel.

And, look at this feature- a little bar/kitchenette with colorful tile counters.

Roomy guest powder room.

The primary bedroom has a beachy feel.

Large beach-themed ensuite.

This room is very large, too. It could be the primary bedroom if you want doors to the terrace.

Beautiful private terrace.

I like the laminate in the ensuite and the blue sinks. It's like a cornflower blue.

Large pantry and laundry room.

Big garage with an office. Looks like there's an auto repair shop in here.

This is very nice- a guest suite with a private entrance.

Covered patio with a full outdoor kitchen.

The hot tub is private and placed apart from the pool.

Look at the nice footbridge.

"BABY," NIKA POUTED AS she gazed up at you, her brown eyes filled with neediness and slight irritation.

You glanced back at your girlfriend for a split second before looking back at your computer screen. "Yes, babe?"

You had a project due tomorrow afternoon and you didn't wanna wake up early to finish it up or rush, so this was the only time you could do it. However, your girlfriend had other plans.

She'd just got done with practice and barged into your dorm, Nika dropped her gym bag on the floor and flopped onto your bed, her presence adding a layer of distraction to your already cluttered mind.

"I missed you," Nika continued as she gazed up at you, her voice tinged with a mix of exhaustion and longing.

You couldn't help but smile at her, despite your mounting stress. "I missed you too, Nika," you replied, reaching over to ruffle her hair affectionately.

"Then act like it," Nika rolled her eyes as you sighed.

"Nika, I really need to get this done," you said, trying to keep your tone gentle but firm.

Nika crossed her arms, her expression softening as she looked at you with those big, pleading eyes. "I know, but it feels like you always have something to do. Can't you take a break, just for a little while? We haven't spent any time together all week."

Guilt washed over you. She was right; between classes, assignments, and everything else, your time together had been scarce. You glanced at your computer screen, then back at Nika, who was now sitting up, her eyes never leaving yours.

"Alright," you said finally, closing your laptop with a sense of finality. "But just for a little while."

Nika's face lit up with a smile, and she immediately scooted over to make room for you on the bed. You joined her, and she wrapped her arms around you, pulling you close. "I promise, it won't be long," she whispered, pressing a soft kiss to your temple.

"That was easier than expected," Nika mumbled into your hair as you looked up to send her a glare. "Sorry! I knew you wanted to cuddle too, I could see it in your eyes."

"Oh really?" You held in a laugh as you teased her. "And what else do my eyes reveal?"

Nika grinned mischievously, her fingers tracing patterns on your back. "Hmm, let's see... They say you're secretly hoping I'll make you some pasta after this cuddle session,"

You chuckled, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to her lips. "You know me too well," you admitted, feeling a wave of affection wash over you.

Nika's smile softened, and she tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear. "I love knowing you," she murmured, her voice filled with sincerity.

Francis let out a long sigh of relief, taking his cap off with one hand, using the other to dab away at his sweaty forehead with a handkerchief. Upon seeing the exhausted man, you can’t help but smile softly, shaking your head as you get ready to scold him, once again. You cross your arms, looking at him through the window with a playful disappointed glare.

“mhm mhm, what do we have here? you really should be getting more sleep, mr. milkman, your eyes are starting to sport their own eye bags.”

with this comment, Francis shakes his head but is unable to stop the small, yet tired smile on his face. he bends down to place the crate of milk jugs onto the floor before handing over his ID card. you hum, narrowing your eyes when Francis doesn’t give into your whims. you eye his card, glancing at it a few times before slipping it back to him with a chuckle.

Francis’s eyebrow raises in confusion at your reaction but ends up shaking his head, rolling his eyes playfully and sighing softly. he places his cap back on his head and huffs, deeming your reaction as a go ahead inside.

“now… what if i was a doppelganger? you aren’t even going to call my room to check if someone is there? such a reliable doorman we have.”

despite Francis’s playful tone, your grin slips into a frown as you study Francis from behind the glass. this causes him to tense up, suddenly feeling nervous, like he did something wrong. you hum, tilting your head into your palm as you seemingly analyze Francis for a little while before deciding to speak.

“what’s up brother?”

Francis blinks a few times in surprise, his head tilting in confusion at your question. His eyes narrow as he thinks about the question you asked.

“what’s… up… brother…?”

Francis looks up at the ceiling, taking your question to heart. upon seeing nothing on the ceiling, Francis can only shake his head and sigh at your antics.

“are you done with your tomfoolery, (Y/n)? i’m quite exhausted and would like to go up to my room and rest.”

you can only shake your head, clasping your hands together like a disappointed father getting ready to discuss their kids grades at the dinner table. you begin to explain.

“when Francis first walks in here, he always forgets one of three things… his keys, his hat or the crate of milk. you came in here, although exhausted, you seemed put together, unlike Francis, who is clearly going through a midlife crisis. Francis will then ask me about my cat, well, because he’s a cat person, though he insists no one knows. oh, and, Francis’s home phone has been broken for the past few days and is actually at the store, right now. so, Francis being here so soon, isn’t possible. that, and well, Francis never understands my references, but indulges me anyway… anything else i forgot, doppelganger?”

you bat your eyelashes, smirking from behind the window like you just cracked down the traitor in your group. with each statement, Francis’s doppelgänger’s face becomes visibly more and more angry until the doppelganger begins to completely change: black eyes with white pupils, a wide and eerie black mouth, adorned with long and sharp claws on the end of the doppleganger’s elongated limbs.

“you… you’ll regret this… i will get in one day and get my feast, starting with you. i’ll gut you, keep you alive so you can watch your organs fall out of your body and your blood splatter against-! *CLANK! BAM! PLINK!*”

before the doppelganger could finish his fantasy, much to your amusement, the doppleganger’s body tenses upon being struck before crumpling to the floor after becoming unconscious. you look up from the doppleganger’s body to see the real Francis hovering above the, possibly dead, doppelganger. you shrug, knowing that you wouldn’t have to call DDD services to take care of the mess, now you just have to clean up the body.

“mmm… tuesday… tuesday…? did i get that right?”

you hold back a chuckle at Francis’s response to your last question. you can only nod, letting Francis have the win this time. pinching the bridge of your nose and sighing, a loud laugh bubbles up from your throat as the two of you realized what Francis had hit the doppelganger with.

“ngh… i just bought this phone… damnit… his hard head must have broke it, ah, if i bring it back could i get a… refund…?”

I also love when BSP gets saddled with a 6yr old Night (or, god forbid, both the twins) and they suddenly have to adjust to being parents. Bonus points for Nightmare being horrified by the blatant presentation of his past, but he'll be damned if he's letting them get hurt again. He's going to give them a good life, full of love and support... And parents. Parents that would never let anything happen to them. The kind they deserve.

Agghh Dream being there setting off the balance of the world, and BSP struggling with his need for positivity, since they inhabit a negative world.

Night being apprehensive about them all, and being scared when he hears them talking about bringing Dream somewhere because he's getting... "Sick" or something, and he thinks they're trying to hurt Dream. (Que Cross trying to take Dream to a park and Night furiously attacking his shins and crying, and saying he's not taking his brother anywhere. Nightmare picks him up and promises him they're not going to do anything mean, and that they're just bringing Dream to a world with some sunshine, because it only rains here, and Dream has always liked the sunshine, remember?

Night is satisfied by this explanation, but still insists on going with them. Cross gets them both ice cream and lets them run around a park and be silly. Dream befriends everyone in sight. I just think NM should take Night to a library while Cross is watching Dream at the park some day, and Night is so enamored. It has multiple floors, and there's statues and art, and so many things to look at, and so many books!!!
