I really appreciate your love for them, and this week, I'll be dedicating some time to dive into their dynamics, both in the main Fantasy Worlds Collide project and the Redemption!AU. To kick things off, I’ve got some sweet headcanons I’ve been working on for them in both universes. Thank you so much for the support. Your love for these two babies means so much to me. 💚

In FWC, Aurora and Lucien are supposed to represent the Remnants, as Bianca feels like she failed to protect Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo. Being an immortal being, guilt can weigh on Bianca.

Fantasy Worlds Collide

Aurora:

Despite her cold and calculated demeanor, Aurora has a secret soft spot for her brother Lucien. She'll often surprise him with small gestures of care, like crafting an intricately designed necklace or sharing rare books on magic with him, even though she pretends not to show any affection.

While Aurora may appear too proud to admit it, she loves listening to Sephiroth's stories of his past, especially when he talks about his battles and his own journey. She sometimes lingers a little longer in his presence, pretending to be indifferent while soaking up every word.

Aurora, despite her power, enjoys indulging in beauty rituals, especially when it comes to her long silvery-white hair. She takes great pride in brushing it, even though she can sometimes get frustrated when it tangles. This shows a surprisingly down-to-earth side when it comes to self-care.

Aurora has a regular afternoon tea ritual, where she will often invite Bianca, Lucien, or Sephiroth. She meticulously selects the finest tea and treats, enjoying the peaceful moments of connection even though she hides her enjoyment behind a mask of aloofness.

Aurora has a deep admiration for her mother’s resilience. She often finds herself staring at Bianca when she’s not looking, fascinated by her grace and the way Bianca can command a room with both beauty and power. Aurora secretly hopes she can one day command such presence.

Aurora has a rare moment of softness when Bianca runs her fingers through her hair, a gesture that reminds her of her mother’s nurturing side. This moment of affection always catches Aurora off guard, but deep down, she treasures it more than she admits.

Lucien:

Lucien’s way of showing affection is quiet and subtle. He'll often place a hand on someone's shoulder or slide them a small gift, but he never makes a big deal about it. His love languages are more about actions than words, preferring to show his care rather than say it aloud.

After a huge argument with Bianca about his brutal approach to training the children, Sephiroth has softened his methods, though his intensity remains. Every morning, even when Bianca and Sephiroth visit him in the Celestial realm, Lucien and Sephiroth engage in a quiet, almost meditative sparring session. While Sephiroth’s moves are sharp and precise, Lucien prefers a slower, more calculated approach, often pausing to adjust his posture or stance. Despite their differences in style, the sessions are a time for them to bond, and after each sparring match, Sephiroth will ruffle Lucien’s hair. This is an action that always makes Lucien roll his eyes but secretly adores for the affection it carries.

Lucien and Sephiroth both enjoy the quiet solitude of the night sky. They’ll often stand together, looking up at the stars, neither saying a word. It's their way of bonding without the need for conversation—just two beings of immense power sharing a peaceful moment in each other’s presence. Lucien finds these moments grounding, and Sephiroth, for all his stoicism, seems at peace next to his son.

Redemption!AU

Aurora:

Aurora still carries her childhood chocobo plushie, Kweh, with her on every mission, tucking it into her bag for comfort. She lovingly mends any wear and tear with her healing magic, ensuring it's always in pristine condition.

Aurora has a special bond with nature. She talks to plants and flowers as she tends to them, and her healing magic causes them to grow faster and bloom more brightly when she's near them. The flowers she plants are always vibrant, and the gardens she creates become peaceful refuges for anyone in need of a quiet moment. This is part of her celestial nature, as celestials are attune to every planet in Creation.

Aurora and her twin brother, Lucien, have a tradition where they sit down for tea together after a particularly stressful day. It's a simple but comforting ritual where they can unwind, share their thoughts, and enjoy each other’s company in peaceful silence.

Aurora prefers to walk barefoot in nature whenever she gets the chance. She finds that it strengthens her connection to the earth and helps her stay grounded. It's a simple, peaceful activity that helps her feel at peace with the world around her.

As an adult, Aurora has a friendly rivalry with Cloud when it comes to chocobo racing. The two of them often challenge each other during moments of respite, competing to see who can ride the fastest chocobo. Aurora is surprisingly competitive, and it’s one of the rare times she lets her playful side shine fully.

Lucien:

Lucien and Genesis often engage in deep, philosophical debates about the meaning of LOVELESS, with Lucien interpreting the poem as a reflection of the tension between duty and personal desire, while Genesis argues that it is a meditation on the inevitability of fate. Their discussions, filled with respect for one another’s viewpoints, often leave both of them contemplating the nature of love, loyalty, and their own personal journeys.

When he’s deep in thought, Lucien has a habit of absentmindedly doodling abstract shapes and symbols. His notebooks are filled with intricate, otherworldly designs, which he never shows anyone—except occasionally Aurora, who loves to guess their meaning.

Lucien has a cherished tradition of giving his father, Sephiroth, small handmade gifts whenever he can. Whether it’s a carved wooden figure or a specially embroidered scarf, Lucien hopes to bridge the emotional gap between them with these small gestures.

Lucien starts every morning with a cup of herbal tea, carefully brewed by his mother, Bianca. The calming ritual helps him center his thoughts before tackling the challenges of the day.

Despite his tough exterior, Lucien has a soft spot for animals, especially small, helpless ones. He once rescued a stray white kitten from a burning building and named it "Sol," after the sun, because of how bright the kitten's spirit was. Sol is a huge cat now who likes to 'attack' Sephiroth's hair.

OMG. That latest artwork has made me sad. Sephiroth needs Bianca to hug him and tell him it's okay. She is the only one who could.

Which artwork? The one with him crying green blood? Bianca always hates to see Sephiroth look so broken. I think Square Enix did a wonderful job to show his breakdown in the Nibelheim Incident flashback. She didn't see it when he was in the Nibel Reactor in 0002, since that was before they met, but once they did, she tried to comfort him when he was faced with his origins. He was already into his psychotic break, unfortunately.

Sephiroth is her number one priority at this point. He has to be, since she is spending most of her time in the Northern Cave, watching over his reforming body with only his voice in her head to keep her company. He also built her the dreamscape like Hades built the Elysium for Persephone, yet it would be an interesting take to see a role reversal for between them.
