Just wanted to drop another quick update. Namely, that the copyright office has okayed The Vampyres! I’m just waiting by the mailbox now for the paperwork to come in. I’d like to have the physical proof in my hands first, but now I can officially start tinkering with putting the eBook and print bones together!

back on broadway yet again

Experienced a very visceral reaction upon watching the new combat sneak-peek vid for DA4 and being greeted with what is basically the AC Valhalla menu. I'm well aware this is a very popular format in recent games and honestly I'm cool with it but it did feel a little personally haunting lmao

(Here's the link for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, they give a pretty good/detailed look at how combat works, especially for a potential warrior Rook build. I'm really hoping they do a vid at some point to show off the character creation cuz besides the companions, story and environments that's what I'm most curious about)

The Best Part of Waking Up is Diccccccccck!

Elyse & Brian are doing their normal morning ritual of making love. Brian disappeared off to work while Elyse was washing the sweat she gathered from her morning "workout".

When she went downstairs she went to go make their usual morning coffee but he had already left which honestly made her cry due to their relationship starting to change their routines being disturbed.

After she let all her emotions out she did her daily yoga to help center her emotions which have been all over the place as of late.

Elyse has a hobby of making jewelry specifically wedding jewelry which is her specialty. She has sold a few custom engagement & wedding rings but its a hobby that she doesn't want to turn into a job.

She went out to lunch with her mother & honestly she needed it! She is a mommy & daddy's girl. She is their only child so she has a very close relationship with them. Elyse does come from money but no where near the wealth that Brian & his family have as it is a generational wealth & very old money as he family is new money which does get her made fun of a lot within Brian's circle unbeknownst to him.

born in germany, orphaned at a very young age (four years old)

his adoptive father disciplined him & trained him to box

they moved to america to open said gym

his father is involved with dangerous people (gangs, businesses)

said father is not present as much or at all when ed is older

ed doesn't box professionally despite his incredible skill

instead, he coaches a few regulars and maintains the worn gym

ed is abrasive & distant, also VERY hot headed otherwise

ed hates needles, idealists & bullies
