Bia Urquiza as Nancy Drew She already has experience solving mysteries, is a total badass, and keeps her feelings buried bc she's more focused on saving all her friends. Also hello scarf girlies!! She already has the same aesthetic :)

Manuel Quemola as Ned "Nick" Nickerson Not all men!! Already the best boy and always there to stand behind his girl and let her shine. But also is not afraid to stand up for justice to be served and go into protective mode when necessary. (I'm a Nace shipper but he just gives more Nick vibes than Ace, and he was meant to be her canon love interest from previous iterations anyway, so in this version we can have some more Nick/Nancy)

Luan as Ace This man is giving the BIGGEST Ace vibes. Silly boy with the most out of pocket lines. He already is the omnipresent knower of everything - he would also happen to speak French, Japanese, and Hebrew bc why not. Plus he and Chiara would so be "Platanchors" please. Not to mention he's got the signature great hair. And WAIT FOR IT Luan doesn't have a last name either LMFAO (and funny enough Luan doesn't interact with Bia, but his actor did play Bia's actress' love interest on his show, so maybe an AU worth exploring??)

Chiara Callegri as Bess Marvin BABYGIRLS!! Imagine Chiara being a recovering kleptomaniac, secret Brit, heiress lesbian, I would cry. Anyway, the most obvious but hilariously perfect fit. Like she's already an overdramatic sweetheart with the funniest one-liners. And as I said Chiara/Luan with the Bess/Ace dynamic is soooooo *chef's kiss*

Celeste Quinterro as George Fan The rational, no BS tough as nails version of Celeste. Like if Celeste was a bit rougher around the edges, she'd be such a George. Also both of their storylines being some form of discovering a sense of self??! And George/Bess and Chiara/Celeste have similar opposite bickering bestie vibes, imagine Chiarleste but they start out not getting along and then slowly become best friends :') ....or more -- this is how both my georgess and chiarleste agendas can both win!!

𝙳𝙴𝚃𝙰𝙸𝙻𝙴𝙳 𝙱𝙸𝙾𝙶𝚁𝙰𝙿𝙷𝚈

ned grew up in mapleton, a town not so very far from river heights. his life was never too exciting or interesting. he kept high grades, played various sports, and had a pretty good social standings in his class.

everything changed one summer however as he happened to be passing by a burning house. noticing a car close enough to the burning house with the keys still left in, he decided to double back and move the car to safety. that’s when he met nancy drew. while suspicious of him at first for nearly stealing her car, completely justified in ned’s eyes, she soon began trusting him more.

ned was immediately smitten with her and eventually goes to asking her out. the two have been dating ever since. ned is one of nancy’s closest confidants and one of her biggest supporters. he’s helped her on countless cases while she’s been at home at river heights, and from the phone as she’s been abroad. 

sometimes it can be frustrating waiting from the sidelines, especially when nancy tends to forget important dates, but ned’s accepting it. he knows that solving mysteries will always be important and a passion of her’s and he’s okay coming in second to it. as long as it makes her happy, it makes him happy.
