been thinking a Lot about kcfh && dynasty again recently which inspired this... i NEED to rw && finish both ( i was super duper hyperfixed before s2 of kcfh && final season of dynasty came out && life got so hectic i haven't had time 2 watch when i realized it was out :C ) ... pattison toxic yuri forevrr .. they plague me so bad i tried 2 edit them in 2021.. i wrote anon regressor!allison fics on ao3 back in da day ... && one baby!fallon one ermm ... && some regressor!keeley i sigh.. shall i post them here ? lmk tehee >__< i used 2 watch dynasty as it was airing && omg the season finale where fallon nearly you know whatted ... waiting 4 that next episode made me insane... also i was ahead of my time with kamanda i was a shipper since the beginning && prophesized they would get together tehe.. also i was TERRIBLY firby brained && i miss them all so baddd waaahhhh /. i never finished ted lasso bc family cancelled apple tv ( also why i never got to finish dickinson aka my biggest loss ) but err...

Nancy Wheeler headcannons cause I love her and there needs to be more

- Taught Mike how to play DnD and in turn taught the rest of the party as well

- Read every Nancy Drew book that she could get her hands on and still has the entire collection

- Went as Nancy Drew a couple of times for Halloween

- Went through that "I hate pink" phase and came out of it covered head to toe in hot pink everything

- Autistic + ADHD, that girl can not stand still she has to be doing something at all times

- Really wanted to be a ballerina when she was younger but felt to embarrassed to ask for lessons

- I personally see her as either bisexual or lesbian with comhet

- Was best friends with Jonathan when they were younger because of Mike and Will. They would babysit them together when their moms were too busy but over time when they didn't need a babysitter they stopped hanging out

- Would start murder mysteries (books, movies, TV shows, etc) and stop them before the murderer is revealed to see of she could figure it out first and is generally pissed if she doesn't

- Once when she was 11, tried to bleach her hair after seeing her mom do it. It went bad. Really bad.

- Took french in school to feel cool but hated it with a passion. Later asked Robin to teach her but still can't speak it cause she was too busy thinking how hot Robin sounded speaking it to pay attention

- Would steal R rated movies from her parents and sneak downstairs to watch them. One time stole Rocky Horror Picture Show from a cousin, had her first gay panic watching Susan Sarandon singing in her bra

- ELA and History smart

- Tried smoking once and wasn't a fan cause of the taste, but later after hanging out with Eddie got more into weed

- If we're going with bi Nancy, I truly do think she would have had a crush on Jonathan when they were hanging out as middle schoolers but pretended she didn't

I have a headcanon that Nancy eventually became fluent in ASL because Ace taught her (so she could communicate with Thom without having to have a translator), and after they're married and have kids, they use it to talk secretly. Like, their kids know some, but when they're young, they just know the basics. So, kind of like how a parent would spell something out to the other parent if the kid can't spell, Nancy and Ace sign to each other.

Nancy and Ace: *signing about putting them down for bed early because it's a holiday or special occasion, and they need to set up a surprise*

Kid: Stop it. I know you're talking about bedtime.

They'll do it in public, too. Why would Nancy shout across the aisle in a grocery store when she can just tell him to grab something while he gets the milk?

Nancy: *while you're over there, we need cheese.*

Ace: 👍

Or they'll be somewhere, like one of those parent-teacher things, but with activities and bingo? (My school used to do it, I think once a year, and I have no idea what it was called.) And they go because their kid/kids have a lot of friends, so it's another way for them to hang out. But Nancy and Ace don't necessarily like the other parents.

Nancy, fake laughing at something: *I'm so close to pretending kid is sick or something so we can leave.*

Ace, politely nodding along: *if this thing goes on any longer, I might help you.

The kids who are a little ways away: what are your parents doing?

Kid, who knows damn well what they're saying: idk, probably talking smack or something

I also like to think that sometimes Thom and Rebecca go to these school events, and Rebecca finds it hilarious that kid will mess with their friends about what Nancy and Ace are talking about, but Thom is just exasperated, because of course their kid would be as much trouble as they were.

Nancy, signing to Ace who's across the room: *did you remember to close that window we had open?*

Ace: *what, the one in the kitchen or the one upstairs?*

Kids friend: what are they saying?

Kid: they're debating whether to do their monthly sacrifice tonight or tomorrow.

Kids friend, who fully believes their Aunty Bess is a witch: haha *nervously sweats*

Thom: *Rebecca, they're doing it again.*

Rebecca: *cackling*

Nancy and/or Ace probably communicate with Nick like this around the holidays, too. I think it drives George crazy. (Bc damn right they find a way back together.)

Nick and Ace: *signing to each other*

Nick and George's kid: mommy, what are they talking about?

George, miffed: I don't freaking know.

Idk i just think this is a funny little hc about what their lives would be like.

playing ghost of thorton hall for the first time through, and all I can think is my headcannon that both jessalyn and colton are queer and bearding for each other. would make sense for clara if she found out and wanted to try and 'protect' the family name from shame (having a queer daughter in Louisiana) by having jessalyn disappear!

Fun fact: as of July 2023, Ace and Nancy have been together for over three years. 

They've already seen the sun rise over the Goreme National Park at Cappadocia. And they absolutely got drunk on local wine love as they watched the Parisian sunset at Pont Des Arts, with Ace reciting poetry in flawless French the whole time.  

Ace was the cause of the Great Horseshoe Bay Sorbet Shortage and the reason local grocery stores had to up their orders. And Nancy was voted customer of the month by Horseshoe Baygels staff at least 12 times.

They visited Grant in his new city, had game nights with the crew, and went on road trips both for cases and just because. And while Rebecca taught Nancy secret Hardy family recipes, Ace went fishing with all the dads (if the mermaid attacked them once, who's to tell). 

They babysat Leo for Connor and Lily and spoke about the family they would eventually build and the names Kate and Lucy. 

Ace joined Nancy every single time she had to bail Ryan and Red out after the latter released some demon from an ancient relic and Nancy helped Ace study for his autopsy technician certificate.

They've argued about whose car to take to the weekly family dinners, what color to paint their living room, and how much is enough when it comes to donating blood. 

Together they've worked for Nick's city council campaign, volunteered for all of Bess's events at #HistSo, and cheered George on as she graduated pre-law a few months ago. They've hosted Passover seders, Thanksgiving dinners, and Chanukah celebrations, and they've made a home together where everything is half Nancy, half Ace and altogether theirs. 

They've been freakishly happy for the past three years; we merely need to catch up with them.

I know "will you solve this part of the mystery with me" was basically Ace proposing but I can't stop thinking about Ace carving his initials on the underside of the table in The Claw and then showing it to Nancy and she's all confused like "what is this" and his lips twitch and she stares back and forth between him and the letters a few times before she says, a little breathlessly, "your last name name starts with H..." and then Ace full on smiles and takes her hands in his and says "my last name is Hardy. Someday I want to make it yours too"

Frank is dating Nancy and Nancy is dating George in a this is my girlfriend and my girlfriend’s girlfriend situation

Nancy is either bi or pan

Joe is a trans bi man and he’s dating ned Nickerson who is gay and wears glasses

Callie I haven’t figured quite out yet I either like her as a lesbian or aroace idk

Bess I don’t really have any headcanons for but I like her being lesbian in the 2019 show so she can stay lesbian

And for the heck of it I’m making Carson bi
