do i bother finishing ncis:nola? i just finished the season 3 premiere. i loved the og cast and change is always tough. ik the nola cast changes quite a bit so idk if i wanna get attached and shatter my heart eheh

oh i was definitely keep watching. season 4 is definitely one of my favorites bc it has such a good cast of tammy AND sonja, which i think sonja leaves in season 5?? yeah i lot of people do leave and i dont think the final season is too great. but seasons 4 and 5 were really good in my opinion. lots of good character stuff

Almost Lovers - Chris LaSalle x Reader

Prompt: #19 - “I think I´m in love with you and that scares the crap out of me.”

Characters: Chris LaSalle, Y/N Y/L/N, the team

Warnings: angst, mention of injuries and kidnapping

“It´s so good to see you awake, Y/N!”, Pride said as he stood at the end of her hospital bed. 

“You guys have no idea how good it is to see you.”, Y/N smiled, still feeling a little dizzy from the different medications she got. 

“You gave us quite a scare.”, Percy admitted as she patted the younger agents shoulder. 

“I´m sorry.”, Y/N sighed.

“Y/N, there´s nothing you need to be sorry for.”, Pride reassured her. Y/N just shrugged with her shoulders and it got quiet in the room. That´s when she noticed that LaSalle hasn´t said anything to her yet. In fact, he was the one who stood the farest away from the team. He had been acting coldly towards her before she got kidnapped, but she actually couldn´t wrap her head around why he did so. LaSalle and her were actually pretty close, they were partners and best friends. They always had eachothers back, but something has changed. She must have seemed tired or exhausted, because suddenly, Pride said: 

“I think we should give Y/N some space, so she can get some rest.”

Everyone agreed and started to leave the room, when the injured agent spoke up: “Chris...would you mind staying with me for a bit? I don´t wanna be all alone just yet.”

Seeing the scared look on her face, LaSalle couldn´t decline the wish and walked towards her bed, while the others left and closed the door behind them. 

“Thank you!”, Y/N whispered as Chris placed the chair beside her bed and took a seat. 

“Anything.”, he said and gave her one of his precious smiles. It got quiet again for a bit, until Y/N started talking again. 

“Are you alright?”

“Wow, you´re the one laying in that hospital bed, injured and you´re asking me if I´m alright.”, Chris laughed. 

“Well, yeah...”, Y/N smiled as she kept looking at him, “you know, I was just wondering because you were acting pretty weird for the last few days.”

Chris got quiet and looked down to his hands. 

Y/N got worried and tried to sit up, but winced in pain. This got Chris to look up at her. 

“You okay?”, he asked concerned.

“Yeah, it´s just my damn bruised ribs. They don´t let me shift my body.”

“Just take it slow.”, Chris said as he helped her sit up and guided her back into her pillow. 

“Thanks.”, Y/N whispered as she carefully leant back. 

“Maybe I should go and get the nurse to...”

“No, Chris, please. At least not yet. We first need to talk about this. Did I do something wrong? I´m sorry if I did, but I just want my old best friend back.”, Y/N said as a few tears rolled down her cheeks. 

“No...no, Y/N. It´s not you, believe me. It´s just...god, I don´t know how to say this. I don´t want it to affect our friendship.”

Y/N suddenly placed her hand on LaSalle´s and gave it a squeeze. 

“Just...say it. Please. I wanna fix whatever is bothering you.”, she assured him. 

Chris took a deep breath before he opened his mouth to talk. “I-I think, I´m in love with you and that scares the crap out of me. I just think there is more than best friends between us and I didn´t know how to tell you since I didn´t know if you felt the same way. Then this case came up and you got kidnapped. I just lost it then. I thought I was too late. Seeing you on those tapes enduring all this pain, my heart broke. I love you, Y/N. And if you don´t feel the same, it´s okay too and...”

“Stop.”, Y/N interrupted, as she carefully leaned forward and placed a soft, but passionate kiss on the agents lips. After they split, Y/N leaned back in her pillow, smiling. 

“So...I take this as a..”, Chris started, but again, Y/N finished for him. 

“Take this as a “I love you too.”“ Chris laughed and suqeezed Y/N´s hand.

“I´m so glad that you´re safe. I could have never forgive myself if you got..”

“I´m here Chris. Thank sto you guys. But I can´t believe that it took us until me being kidnapped and tortured to finally admit our feelings for one another.”

“Sometimes, love can make us blind.”, Chris stated. 

“I´m just glad that everything turns out to be fine. I was really worried.”

Chris smiled and placed a kiss on Y/N´s forehead. 

“I think you finally should get some sleep.”

“Can you stay with me? Please? I-I don´t wanna be alone. I-It scares me.” 

LaSalle sighed, but got up and sat down beside Y/N on the bed. He carefully placed an arm around her shoulders so she could snuggle into his side. 

“Go to sleep! I´m here. Nobody will hurt you, you´re safe with me.”

And with this, Y/N drifted off into a hopefully peaceful sleep.

I was trying to find any mentions of Dean on JAG, and I found an article referring to NCIS as “Navy CIS,” which apparently had a backdoor pilot to JAG.

To be clear:

JAG had a slight cross-over with First Monday, since Dean played the same character on both.

JAG also spun off into NCIS, which then spun off into NCIS: NOLA, where Dean played a different character.

So in Bellisario’s web of military legal dramas, Dean’s been on three of them.

Thelma is Kate Burton (she actually played Sam's mom in his NCIS:NOLA appearance, so I just kinda stole her from that)

hello!! i’m gonna do this for nina kovac who i have officially started writing :)

1. she’s a military brat. specifically, she’s a navy brat. she moved around a lot as a kid but she is originally a new yorker — manhattan, to be specific. her backstory is 100% a result of me watching too much ncis:nola and i’m okay with that

2. she was in the marines before being recruited by s.h.i.e.l.d, so that combined with the above fact means she’s got a really strong sense of principles and sees the world in black-and-white. by the time phase two starts the world’s starting to look pretty grey to her

3. she has a sister called vera (i haven’t decided yet if nina is the older or the younger sibling, but they’re about a year apart in age either way) who is a medical doctor at s.h.i.e.l.d and is the reason nina was recruited in the first place

4. she’s good at reading people. it’s one of her strengths and it comes in handy a lot in her line of work. it especially comes in handy with interrogation

5. her go-to alias is “kate thomas.” kate thomas was the placeholder name i used for her before officially naming her nina kovac

Well what do you know?!

So I’m talking to my co-worker today about how upset I was over the NCIS episode earlier this week and not being prepared for the fact that it was a crossover episode and that my (not so) favorite person was going to be making an appearance. (Lucas Black as Agent LaSalle)

I recalled sitting there, not thinking much about it and then bam!  There’s that god-awful sound.  Like nails on a chalkboard!  I can’t describe how much I loathe that mans voice and accent.  As a fellow southerner it crawls all over me that people already think we sound like uneducated rednecks when portrayed in television and film.  His voice just glorifies that stereotype.  It is the the single reason I refuse to watch NCIS: NOLA. 

So anyway, we were discussing the actor and the fact that he grew up in Decatur, Alabama which is not but a few hours away from where I live.  What I didn’t know was that he was the kid in Slingblade!

So I blurt out in the lab, “OMG!  That was lips and peckers!” 

And.... my boss walks in

Oh well.  Everyone got a good laugh at my expense.  Ironically they all knew what I meant by that reference. 

Learn something new everyday!   Guess I shouldn’t talk about his accent but...... ugh!  Nails. On. A. Chalkboard.

This kind of post is the kind of thing that just pisses me off. You don't like the show anymore? Great, stop watching & just interact as a fan like more than half of the HP fan base does. You don't like what the fandom does either? 🙃 Don't interact with the fandom anymore then.

But I can put up a counter for every single thing here.

<a reason why many people left. i mean they didn’t even have 5 million viewers on the possible last episode ever. kinda low. you’d expect more to tune in for one last (?) time. and i’ve heard that some people had low expectations for that episode as well,> 🤦 First, where did you here that last one cause otherwise that's rumors churned up by CBS and TV journos for a story. Second, have y'all forgotten that we're still in a global pandemic where people are financially struggling? Maybe they cut their extortionate bills from cable to save that 💰 for something more important. I cut my cable long before MacGyver was airing. Maybe they only watch through a streaming service like I do, which means 'no live video' ie no watching finales when they air. Did that not occur to anyone?

<just the fault of the entire cancelation, the story could’ve been played out so well but it was b o r i n g.> 🤣 Does the name Lenkov ring a bell? Cause he wrote half of season 5 & produced several episodes as well despite being fired back in July. It's weird how not being able to control the narrative of your own show affects the episodic direction. She was also told at the last second -without warning- that the show was cancelled. They cold called her to inform her of the cancellation. You wanna talk rude? THAT'S RUDE. So Macer had to reshoot the finale to make it a series ender.

<spam CBS’ stories when there’s something about magnum p.i., so don’t ask me about that again or complain why i didn’t participate there. i find it kinda rude actually. other shows are not at fault and it’s not right to get them into this mess.> ➡⏩Except that's not accurate. Thus far, they've renewed every show with more than 1 season except NCIS Nola & MacGyver. Inc Survivor and Big Brother. 😤 ALSO, if this was about Lenkov or the writing, Magnum should've been axed too. The creator of MacGyver, Lee David Zlotoff was an EP on the rebooted show. So was Winkler, & both were producers on the original.

Furthermore, the other Friday night shows didn't do all that better than MacGyver for most of the season. Then both Magnum PI (& Blue Bloods) got renewed despite the numbers. As for those shows, let's see. NCIS and Blue Bloods have an almost entirely white cast. There's Ncis:la with ll cool j, who attacked his own community over our VP. BULL with Weatherly, who's been accused of interacting with female costars inappropriately. Yeah, ViacomCBS those are stellar choices so far. Cause then subsidiary CBS follows that by cancelling ncis:Nola and MacGyver, both of whose main casts are roughly 50% POC. 😒👎
