Tumblr media
Before long the picnic tables are deserted and everyone’s sitting in class. The brown-haired boy sits behind me while his friends surround him, shouting and jumping around the class despite the teacher trying to get them to settle down.
“Boys!” he shouts but is ignored. They throw scrunched up paper balls at unsuspecting victims in the front rows. I turn around and flash a look in their direction. It stops.
“Mr Iero, Mr Way, Principal’s office now!” the teacher shouts. So Ray Toro and Bob get away with it just because they sat down early? Whatever.
“Who’s gonna make us?” Gerard says, receiving shocked looks from the rest of the class. Mr May looks around the room and stops when he gets to me. Fuck.
“Miss Dailey will escort you two. Make sure they actually get there Y/N.”
He did not just ask me to escort them. No way.
“She doesn’t have to–” Frank starts.
“Now!”
I get up out of my seat, grabbing my bag and trailing behind Gerard and Frank. Mr May closes the door and continues to teach the class acting like nothing happened but outside Gerard is pissed off.
“What the fuck was that?” he looks down at Frank who looks equally as annoyed.
“I don’t know what that fucker’s problem is honestly. He’s had it out for us since freshman year,” Frank agrees with Gerard, like he always does.
“I don’t even know why the fuck he asked you to take us to the office,” Gerard snaps at me, he’s always had it out for me. Everyone will hate you if you’re not them. The office doors stand at the end of the hallway but stop in front of my locker.
“Be quick, I’m staying out here,” I say. Gerard just continues to walk without acknowledging me but Frank gives me a nod.
I shuffle through my locker, giving it a good clean out and rearranging my books and photos. It’s been about half an hour and I’ve heard nothing. My phone buzzes in my pocket and pulling it out, a name flashes across the screen. The drained look on my face immediately disappears as I close my locker and head to an empty classroom.
“What did she say?” I ask, closing the door.
“That’s what you ask me when we get a second of alone time?” he moves closer to me, giving me a kiss. Frankie. My Frank. Well, at least outside of school.
“Hi,” I smile, running a hand through his hair.
“Hi baby.”
“What did she say?” I look into his eyes, dark and strained, the opposite of the loving Frank I know.
“Blamed Gerard for being a bad influence, let me go with a warning. I don’t even want to know what she’s saying to him right now,” he says. “I saw you this morning, you looked like you didn’t want to be here.”
“You know me. I saw you smoking and then darting off once the history teacher showed up. It was kind of funny,” I laugh.
“Oh shut up. I lost my joint because of it.”
We end up sitting on the far side of the room and I hold his hand. I hate not being able to properly spend time with him during the day. His friends don’t like me and I don’t belong with most of the people in our grade but that’s just the reality of high school.
“How long are we going to keep doing this Frankie?” I ask, letting out a sigh.
“Doing what?” He sits up and looks over at me, scanning my expression.
“I can’t act like I don’t know you in front of everyone, it hurts me. I’ve got Mikey, yeah and he knows and stuff but I can’t keep pretending I don’t love you.”
He looks hurt. It’s been hard for both of us, it really has. I see the way he looks at me when we sit in class, I feel his feet playfully kicking mine under the desks. He loves me, he just doesn’t want to give up his friends. I get that, I really do, I just wish we could properly be together.
“You know I can’t give up my friends.”
“What makes you think being with me would force you to give them up?” I ask.
“I can't see you anymore,” he bursts.
No.
“Why? Because you think that they’re more important?”
“I can’t, I don’t want them to hurt you,” Frankie looks over at me with a frown.
Gerard enters the room, looking slightly amused post-telling off.
“What did she do this time?” Frank asks, trying to change the topic, he quickly moves further away from me, unnoticeable for Gerard but obvious for me.
“She just called my mom, and got yelled at as usual,” he laughs. I let a small chuckle escape my lips, unfortunately for me it was noticed by Gerard.
“What’s got you laughing? You think this is funny?” He stands up and walks over to me, forcing me to stand up.
“It seemed appropriate,” I say, arms crossed. I’m going to stand my ground, there’s no way some stupid bully is going to make me feel bad.
“Would you shut up? Don’t talk to us and don’t even for once think that you’re ever going to be able to laugh or spend time with us. I don’t like you, we don’t like you and I certainly don’t need some stupid bitch thinking she’s cool to hang around us,” Gerard snaps. I take a step back in shock, my back laying flat against the cold concrete wall. It feels like jail, like I’m being forced into a corner and threatened with death. A desperate look flashes across my face, aimed at Frank who isn’t even paying attention. “Do you think he’s going to help you? You think Frank’s just going to make sure your feelings don’t get hurt?” Frank looks up at me and frowns.
“He’s right.”
He did not just take his side. He did not just say that and he did not just blindside me.
“Sure he is Frank. I’m leaving,” moving around Gerard, I leave the room and get ready for lunch with Mikey.
“He did not say that!” he gasps in shock.
“He did.” Mikey sits there, his jaw on the floor.
“But he… you’re supposed to be… what?” he’s speechless, “but Gerard’s a dick, there’s no way Frank just let Gerard tell him what to do.” But he did. He just stood there acting like someone he’s not just so he can stay friends with the meanest boy in school.
“Speak of the devil,” Mikey mutters and I turn around to see Frank walking over to us.
“What the fuck do you want?” I ask, turning to face him. Gerard stands not far away, watching.
“I can’t, I can’t see you anymore.”
“Why?” I ask, my head feeling light and stomach feeling heavy. I’d forgotten that he said that earlier.
“I can’t, I don’t want him to hurt you. He thinks I’m over here telling Mikey that he can’t drive him home after school,” he looks mildly disappointed compared to the anger and rage plastered over Mikey’s face. Mikey’s reaction is surprising, the quiet nerd boy actually pissed off for once.
“You know what Frank? You’re a dick. If you can’t understand that Y/N is an amazing, creative soul then you really don’t deserve to be with her at all. And yeah, my brother’s a bitch and a bully and shit but you don’t throw away the girl you’re supposed to fucking love because of your douche bag friends.” That’s the most I’ve ever heard Mikey talk at once.
Frank’s speechless. He just stands there while Mikey continues to snap at him.
“Mikey! What are you doing yelling at my friend here?” Gerard shouts walking over to us. Great.
“Gerard,” Mikey nods at his brother, who towers over us.
“Who’s this? New girlfriend?” Gerard asks without even looking at me.
“Gee. Y/N and I have been friends since the second grade. You know her. She’s got a boyfriend anyways,” Mikey looks at Frank who again, says nothing. I say nothing. Just let the two Way brothers talk to each other. I lose track of what they’re saying, zoning out, staring at the ground. Mikey stands up but that’s all I notice. Anything said goes in one ear and out the other, the tension driving my anxiety to the ground. Frank’s not doing anything, of course he isn’t.
“Y/N?” Mikey shakes me gently.
“Hmm?” I tilt my head, confused at the events unfolding in front of me.
“Are you okay?” Frank asks, crouching down next to me.
“I-I… what?” I’m confused, my entire body is confused. Gerard is still standing over me. My face feels damp. “I-have I been crying?”
“Absolutely weeping,” Gerard laughs. Frankie wipes the salty streams off my face.
“He’s laughing at me?” I ask, looking up at Gerard. Mikey moves around closer to me, grabbing hold of my hand.
“You need to tell him, Frank.”
“Tell me what?” Gerard crosses his arms and stares at Frank, who shakes his head.
“I can’t.”
“You’ve been lying to me?” Gerard says. Tell him the truth Frank. Do it. Please. Be the guy I know you are.
“I-she-Y/N and I. We-uh… Y/N is my girlfriend. We’ve been together for about a year now. I didn’t tell you because you were always mean to her and I didn’t want to mess things up,” Frank mumbles. Gerard just stands there, he looks like he’s processing a multitude of things. He turns to his brother.
“You knew about this too?” Mikey nods.
“We didn’t want her to get hurt,” he says. Gerard looks at me, up and down and back again.
“You’re not what I expected you know. The kind of girl that both my brother and best friend would like. If they like you then I don’t really have much of a choice. A friend of my brothers is a friend of mine I guess,” Gerard says.
“Wait what?” Frank says looking up at him, “You’re not joking?” He looks shocked.
“No? I’ve got no problem with you dating anyone Frank.”
“Well good then,” Mikey butts in, “if you two will leave us, we were in the middle of a major gossip session about the two of you.”
“Okay, okay, we’ll leave,” Frank laughs, giving me a small peck on the lips. He seems relaxed, more comfortable than usual. The two boys turn around and walk back to their friends.
“So, guess I finally sorted out your problems, Dailey.”
“Guess you did,” I smile.

Kiss - Gerard Way x Reader
Prompt: K: Kiss (How do they react to a kiss? Flustered? Happy? Surprised?) (from this list) Reader: can be read as any gender (no pronouns used) Warnings: alcohol mention, food consumption (sweets) Word count: 1 369 A/N: Let’s ignore the energy bill and climate change for the sake of fiction.
Tumblr media
The ice underneath the blades of your skates was slippery but you were glad you held a good balance. Even with the hand that was tightly clasped around your gloved fingers. You chuckled as Gerard tightened his grip on you, swaying slightly on his skates while you were gliding along in the thinning out crowd, late at night at your city’s ice rink, right in the middle of the Christmas market.
The surrounding buildings were already decorated with Christmas lights, the stalls that were built up on one side of the ice rink still selling their goods, ranging from tiny window decorations and figures, over soaps, baking equipment, sweets, mulled wine and savoury snacks. And right beside the rink stood the tallest Christmas tree you had ever seen. It was decorated in reds and golds, thousands of tiny lights illuminating the dark around you beautifully.
Before getting your ticket to the ice rink, Gerard and you had wandered over the market, hand in hand, looking at all the stalls. He had treated you to caramelised almonds, taking way too much delight in feeding you with them. You had felt a little childish, doing something so terribly cheesy so publicly, but nobody around you had minded, and while the glimmer in Gerard’s eyes had made the burn on your cheeks all the worse, the sight was definitely worth the slight embarrassment. What made it even stranger was that while yes, you were on a date together, and not the first one either, you were not really dating yet. At least you didn’t think you were.
Gerard had always been rather held back, and when he had not kissed you after a handful of dates, had barely managed to ask to take your hand, you had not been sure if he was even as interested in you as you were in him. But he had kept asking you out, always making sure to arrange the next meeting before the end of the current one, as if to leave no doubt that he wanted to keep seeing you.
A few dates ago you had carefully tried to ask him about it, when he had drawn back as you had slightly leant in, hoping he would let you kiss him. He had been a blushing stuttering mess, but the message had come across: he was shy and wanted to take things slowly. Which you were more than okay with. Only that you were not sure how slow “slowly” was. By now he had no problem holding your hand or feeding you sweets, but sometimes, whenever his eyes flickered to your lips, his cheeks would turn an adorable pink and he would avert his eyes.
Now his fingers clutched around yours once more as he struggled to keep his balance on the ice.
“This was a really bad idea,” he stated, a mixture of a chuckle and a whine, as he held out his free arm, trying to stabilise himself.
“Don’t worry, you’re doing just fine,” you assured him with a grin, squeezing his hand shorty. “Besides, it wasn’t me who suggested it.”
“I thought it would be romantic, but this is just embarrassing,” Gerard whined, almost punching an elderly lady, who skated by, as he flared around his arm, before breaking into a string of excuses to the lady who had not even noticed.
For a moment you blinked in surprise at his words. He had wanted this to be romantic. Yes, of course this was a date, but you had not even considered that he was making an active effort to make this romantic. For you.
“Okay, okay, stop. Calm down,” you snapped back into the moment, realising how hard Gerard was fighting to stay upright. Quickly you skated in front of him, turning so you were skating backwards, and taking hold of both his hands. “Try bending your knees, and don’t lean forwards so far,” you recommended.
Gerard followed your advice surprisingly well, which quickly stopped his swaying.
“See? You’re doing amazing!”
“How can you say that? I’m making a complete fool of myself,” he rolled his eyes. You could see how hard he was concentrating on keeping his balance, while following your instructions, and it almost made you laugh. Which would have been unfair, since you had started out way worse than him the first time you had ice skated.
“You’re not, trust me, Gee,” you smiled, squeezing his hands reassuringly. “Do you want to take a break?”
At his relieved nod, you looked over your shoulder and stirred him over to the barrier, intending for him grab onto the reel besides you, but he seemed to have gotten enough skill with which way he wanted to go, because instead of bumping against the barrier at your side, he caught you trapped between it and himself, holding onto the edge with hands at both of your sides. Surprised you looked at him, finding he was looking at you already, his eyes shimmering with an intensity you had not yet seen with him.
“Can I kiss you?”
His question took you aback, but the jump your heart made at his question was undeniable. The lights of the Christmas tree behind your back reflected in Gerard’s eyes, which were, for the first time, unashamedly fixed on your lips.
Quickly you nodded, uncertain whether you could phrase any words right now. But your nod seemed to be good enough for Gerard and secretly you were glad he did not tease you for your lack of words.
Instead his lips met yours, cold from the freezing winter air, but with his warmth quickly melting through. His kiss was soft, but full of emotion as his chapped lips moved carefully against yours. You felt him shiver when you placed a hand at his waist while he held onto the barrier behind you with both hands, just pulling himself a little closer so his body was flush against yours. Through the thick jackets you could even feel his chest expanding with each shaky breath he took and then released to fan warmly over your cheeks.
“Thank you for being so patient with me,” he whispered after he had pulled away from the kiss, barely far enough to properly see his face.
Blinking up at him, you smiled softly. “There’s nothing to thank me for,” you whispered, brushing a strand of hair out of his forehead that poked out from underneath his beanie.
“But it’s-“
“Nothing, you hear me?” Quickly you pressed another kiss to his lips, this time to the corner of his mouth, making him smile and look up at you from underneath his lashes. It made you want to kiss him all over again, all over his face, peppering every inch you could reach, but you resisted the urge, and just smiled back as he took a shaky breath.
“Okay,” he decided. “I think I’m ready to try again.”
Carefully he let go of the reeling.
“We don’t have to, you know,” you reminded him. “If you’d rather get off the ice we can do that too.”
“No,” Gerard shook his head. “I want to learn. And I get a good excuse to hold your hand.”
Following his words, he took your right hand into his left.
“You don’t need an excuse to do that,” you giggled, but closed your fingers around his.
“I know. But still. Besides, I was kind of hoping-“
He stopped himself, before he had finished the sentence, a new blush burning on his cheeks.
“What were you hoping for,” you asked curiously, studying his embarrassed face more closely as you pulled away from the reeling. How could anyone look so devastatingly pretty?
“I don’t know,” he shrugged, not daring to meet your amused eyes, as he carefully followed you back in line with the few people who were still doing rounds. “I mean… there is still the possibility of both of us falling and us accidentally kissing.”
His words were quiet, but stunned you for a third time that night. When you saw him glance at you, checking your reaction from the corner of his eyes, you shook your head with a chuckle.
“That can be arranged, you know?”

the prophecy is about to come true 😌
No but seriously imagine it:
You’re seeing fall out boy on a concert. Everyone is having a great time. Fall out boy seem a little excited. “We have a surprise for you guys.” Partick says. All of a sudden P!ATD come out and start singing “this is gospel.” When Brendon gets to the chorus, someone else starts singing… “When I was a young boy my father took me into the city to see a marching band.” Lights flash everywhere, and you see FOB singing “this is gospel” along with P!ATD, while MCR is singing “Black parade”. Everyone in the crowd is going wild and crying. Then if things couldn’t get any better, Dan and Phil walk onto stage and kiss, holding the gay flag.

Water fight - Mikey Way x Fem!Reader
Pairing: Mikey Way x Fem!Reader
Warnings: None!
Word Count: 753
Summary: You and Mikey hang out on summer break
Tumblr media
“Hey Missy!” Gerard calls out from across his front yard. Gerard and Mikey are probably some of the best neighbours a girl could have. Both awesome to play with when we were younger and now, my best friends.
“Hey Gee! Hey Mikey!” I shout as Mikey runs up to me.
“Hi,” he smiles, sitting down next to me, long legs stretched along the stairs. He’s cute. Cuter than he knows.
“What’s new?” I ask.
“There’s this really cool comic that Gee found last night and I read it in like two hours last night. It was the best. It was all about these superheroes that were in group therapy, it was so cool,” he laughs. That amazing smile plastered all over his face. I love listening to the things he says, the excitement that fills him is purely the best thing to experience.
“That’s cool. I was reading the one you and Gee recommended the other day, Watchmen. It’s actually really good, not gonna lie.”
“I miss your glasses Mikey. They made you look cute,” I look away from him, towards Gerard who is playing with some of the younger kids in the neighborhood.
“They had to go, I looked like a nerd.”
“You already are a nerd Mike,” I laugh. One of the kids starts to wave me over, throwing a water balloon in my direction. “Oh it’s on!” I shout, grabbing my water gun and running over. Gerard pops out from behind a bush, a water gun in hand.
“Attack!” he yells as all of the kids start drenching me in cold water. Good thing it’s a hot day.
“Mikey, help!” I scream trying to run away.
“I got you!” he runs over and stands guard in front of me. His blonde highlights stand out in the sun, bright and shiny. Mike’s prettier than he knows, he really is. The kids continue to run around us, throwing buckets of water, water balloons and firing water guns at us. This is the life we have, seventeen and in senior year, our last proper year together. Gerard’s already left school but he stayed back, commuting into New York for art school, cartooning specifically. Mikey and I told him that he should do music but he was set on comics, of course. He’ll end up on the stage one day though, I know it. And Mikey will be up there with him. I’ve got no idea what I’m going to do in college, or if I'll even go to college. Not to mention the fact that Mikey also has absolutely zero idea as to what he’s gonna do either.
“Gerard, we're all out of water!” a little boy shouts running behind him. Gee’s always been so good with kids, he’ll be an amazing dad one day, everyone knows it. He spent so much time growing up babysitting the kids on the block and hanging out with them on the weekends, almost acting like their leader.
“Nooo!” Gee shouts, collapsing to his knees dramatically.
“Alright guys, I’m gonna go grab a towel from inside, I’m drenched,” I laugh walking back towards my house. Mikey follows behind me, wringing out his t-shirt and his sneakers squelching with each step he takes. “Your hair is so wet,” I laugh, turning to look at him.
“I know. That’s what I get for trying to protect you,” he grabs me by the waist as we get into the house. I feel my cheeks slowly blush, immediately realizing, one, that he’s touching my waist and not in a ‘we’re just friends’ way and two, that he’s actually a lot taller than me, meaning that when he looks down at me, he's the perfect height to kiss me. God, how have I never really thought about Mikey like this? I stand huddled over while he grabs a towel from the closet and passes it to me.
“I’m cold,” I sigh, tying my hair up and out of my face. We sit down on the porch again, watching Gerard terrorize the kids by shoving the hose in their faces and laughing maniacally. Classic Gerard Way.
“Of course you’re cold, my brother’s little army gave you a shower,” he laughs. “But you know what?”
What Mikey? What? What would you possibly say that could make me feel even better than I feel after spending the entire day with you?
“What?”
“You had absolutely no business looking that good back there.”

Invitation - Frank Iero x Reader
Prompt I: Invitation (A sudden invitation comes up! What’s it for? How do they react?)(from this list) Reader: can be read as any gender (no pronouns used) Word Count: 354 Warnings: alcohol and food mentions
Tumblr media
“Sweetheart?”
Frank shouting for you through the entire house distracted your focus on the book you were reading. Rolling your eyes, you angeled your head towards the direction he had shouted from.
“What is it,” you called back, waiting for an answer.
Instead you heard his footsteps and a moment later he burst through the door.
“Tucker and Lexie are inviting us over for dinner,” he excitedly told you, leaning over the backrest of the sofa you sat on.
“When,” you asked, putting the book aside, and leaning over in order to press a kiss to his jaw.
Frank had been friends with Tucker for many years, and you had quickly grown close to Lexie after having met the two of them the first time.
“Around seven,” Frank answered, waiting for you to tell him to confirm the invitation.
“Today,” you wondered, just to be sure. When Frank nodded, you furrowed your eyebrows. “We don’t have anything we can bring as a gift…”
“We can just bring a bottle of wine or some chocolates. That should do, don’t you think?”
“You are aware that we don’t have any chocolates left because you ate them all, right?” Teasingly you tapped the tip of his nose with your finger.
“Then the wine, or we drive past the shops on our way over,” he suggested. “Unless you don’t wanna go?”
“Of course I wanna go! I’m just a little tired.” Emphasising your words you stretched. “Maybe you can tell them we won’t stay so late?”
“Anything for you, sweetheart,” Frank grinned, leaning further over the backrest of the sofa and pressed a kiss to your lips before he leant back and stood up, immediately reaching for the phone in his pocket. On his way out of the room you already heard the quiet clicking of him typing the message into his phone’s keyboard.
You smiled to yourself before picking up the book again, Sometimes it was really easy to make Frank happy.
