I just started another shawl/wrap! I’m still waiting for the contrasting color to come in the mail, so I can’t work on it more until then.

my first techpriest cosplay. the box on my chest houses a voice modulator i built around an RTS0072 chip and the thingamabob below is a vox amplifier (= portable speaker that i painted in admech colors and stuck a purity seal on top of).

I just remembered I forgot to post this outfit! I made these pleated linen pants over the summer. I was inspired by 18th century petticoat breeches, but I adapted the concept to my own taste.

They button in the front and lace up in the back. I can wear them high- or low-waisted by adjusting the lacing. I hand-sewed them with waxed linen thread, which was time-consuming, but very satisfying to do, and it looks great!

And they have pockets, of course! I may have skipped out on them with the blue linen dress, but I’m never making pants without pockets!

I have finished the Wael piece! Turned out quite nicely I think. I also forgot before that I got some silver glitter yarn for prettying up the Eothas one so I did that too. I tried making a picture with a flashlight so the glitter would be nice and shiny but unfortunately my camera sucks. If I get a better picture at any point I'll post it.

WOOOO I FINISHED IT ON TIME (sorry for the slight lateness, had to redo some stuff due to the new locations and such)

This is the Fitpac fic for @t4tfitpac for the QSMP Valentine’s Day Gift Exchange! @qsmp-secretvalentine

Basically it’s just:

Fit and Pac celebrate their first Valentine’s Day together and they just planned to do a simple movie night together but their children pulled some shenanigans to get the two to have a true romantic Valentine’s dinner.

I’m sorry if the characterization is weird! This is my first ship fic and I don’t watch Fit or Pac so I don’t know their characters too well so I tried the best that I could!

I also added Spiderbit, Bagina, Pissa, Fooligetta, and Slimariana crumbs because I could not resist :3

Last night I decided to start a quilt instead of sleeping and I'm definitely feeling the consequences today. Halloween disappearing nine patch quilt on its way! I got all 216 squares cut and I can start piecing after work today

I just finished my shawl/scarf! I still need to weave in the ends and block it, but the knitting is done!

Blue linen dress part 1:

I’m really indulging my linen cravings this summer, starting with a dress! I can’t get a photo to do the fabric justice, but it’s a really lovely sky blue.

The design is inspired by the 19th century artistic dress movement, and the construction is based on 18th century shirts and shifts, but I’m not going for any sort of authenticity here. I am, as usual, winging the pattern to an irresponsible degree—but it’s mostly straight lines, so I remain optimistic.

First step, pulling threads. This is gonna take a while...

HEY PEOPLE IVE GOT A SILLY PROJECT THAT I WANT TO SHARE

Anyway, Hi! My name is Rubi (not really) and I'm a young budding artist of many different flavours (some more developed than others).

I wanted to share a passion project of mine that I've been casually working on for the last year today (21st March 2024).

I've been trying really hard to get it out to more people, advertising it wherever I was allowed to do so. It still hasn't gained many follows. so since I have a larger following on tumblr, I thought this would be my next best option.

This project is a Spotify playlist by the name of "I'm all alone", which is inspired off of liminal spaces and how they make me feel.

From the moment I created the playlist I knew I wanted it to be a 'choose your own story' type deal, where the listener can infer from the songs listed to any capacity (specific or basic) and the playlist is just a base idea. I want to see other people draw their own creativity from my playlist. There is no right or wrong story.

Though, this playlist is far from finished. As of writing this, the furthest I've gotten to it being fully organised in a way I feel sounds right is down to the song "over population at the end of everything..." (I'm not writing the full title). If I continue treating it casually like I Currently am, it will be a long time from being a fully fledged playlist. But there's still information you can take from the unorganised songs!
