1. Who has been your favorite muse to play? Hmm...it kind of changes depending on which mood I’m in. But there is definitely a reason Mal is my main blog. 2. Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what do you like to listen to? 

Answered here! 3. Are there any particular aus or plots that you’d really like to write?

A plot where our muses are stranded on an island together after a plane crash (sort of like on Lost) and they have to work together to survive. I would even be up for using multiple muses in the same thread!

A plot based on that show Westworld! It goes like this: Muse A is a host and muse B is a visitor in the park and falls in love with muse A, but muse A keeps getting their memory wiped so muse B gets heartbroken every time but still comes back to the park anyway and then eventually starts trying to hack the system or something to give muse A the ability to retain their memories so they can escape the park together.

A plot where both of our muses are in a cult, but one of them starts to realize the true nature of the group and tries to get the other one to break out with them and then the cult comes after them.

 4. What are some of your rp pet peeves? When people make every other word bold or italic. I know it’s an aesthetic thing, but it makes it hard to read and know where the emphasis is supposed to be. 5. What is the most difficult thing about writing your current muse? 

I write multiple muses at the same time, but I guess one thing that is difficult is that some are way more popular than others, even though I like all of them. 6. What is your favorite thing about writing your current muse?

Favorite thing about writing Mal: She’s very open and curious, and can be very nurturing, so I can easily put her in any difficult situation and she will just try to help the other muse.

Favorite thing about writing Jack: He’s very calm and understanding, and when I write him I am a lot more introspective and try to empathise with the other muse more, because that’s what he would do.

Favorite thing about writing Holly: She’s quite different from any other female muses I’ve written, she has a lot of inner conflict and her family system operates almost like a little cult, which makes writing her and her reactions to things super interesting to me.

Favorite thing about writing Rusty: He’s basically in love with drugs, while I myself don’t use any. So that’s kinda interesting to write.

Favorite thing about writing Rosie: She’s a very dynamic person, and I like that she’s a bit older than my other muses. She has experience, but it hasn’t made her bitter.

I like to keep things simple. Small text and medium sized gifs/icons are fine.

At 14. I’m 23 now.

All kinds, really. They vary greatly in personality/motives.

Mallory, pour some of the love you give to animals and people into yourself. Jack, some people don’t want to be saved. Leave them be. Holly, not everyone is out to get you. Some people just want to help. Rusty, lay off the heavy drugs. Rosie, stop running from the past.

what  inspired  you  to  take  on  this  muse : I HAVE ZERO CONTROL! (I tell it like it is, can’t you tell?) I think it was the fact that I wanted to come back into the canon game? I had abandoning blogs... so, I started looking through the indie rp tag, and I found a hopper, and so I made joyce. I already had the icons from using win as my oc, leona, so I was like, hey, why not? the hopper I shipped with was a real nutter and started some drama/harassment between one of my best friends and I, and so yeah. but, I think what inspired me was cause I love win, and I saw/heard joyce on the show being a real badass? (I also tend to write older muses)

what  are  your  favorite  aspects  of  your  current  muse :  she’s feisty and barely takes no for an answer. she’s the mom that ever wants and needs in your life... ana told me I play her soft, but i’ve been trying my hardest with writing her.... joyce and I just have so much connection? I don’t know what it is, but I feel like I needed her comfort at a low point in my life, and to bring her alive is amazing...

what’s  your  biggest  inspiration  when  it  comes  to  writing : oh boy! music for sure. I grab a lot of my inspiration by making playlists, or pinterest boards. of course, not everyday I can write, but when I do, I try to be by myself, get into that mindset of ‘who is this character, and if you were them, what would you do if you were in that position’? 

favorite  types  of  threads : it ranges. definitely the angsty and fluffy side of things. I can’t write smut very well, and joyce isn’t that kinky to start, so i’m afraid it’ll get boring that way, but a suck as well for those... heartfelt, fufilling conversation type of threads? if that makes sense? 

biggest  struggle  in  regards  to  your  current  muse : trying to write her to the best of my ability. writing canon muses and seeing duplicates are tough for me, because I always fear there are other people better than me... but then I try to remember that we are practically writing original characters with a basic outline of the muse from the show? does that make sense too? but, joyce is like the mother I needed in my life, and she can be soft, but sometimes I struggle making her too harsh?

What was your first Bi experience?

Okay so….I don’t have many ‘experiences’ in general. (I live in an area where my pickings are pretty slim. Indiana wooo).My first ‘hands on’ (not like that don’t be gross) IRL bi experience also coincided with my first time going to a bar….and my first time being wasted lmao. (it was even in an LGBTQ+ hub!) It was fun though and it felt right. 

At what age did you discover your Bisexuality?

Idk,  about of the same age I discovered boys. I couldn’t stop staring lol (thanks, girls locker room!) . Though I feel like my ‘leaning’ towards guys stems from growing up in an incredibly homophobic environment.  (not saying that’s always the case but it’s totally my case)  Ngl, I was kind of homophobic as a kid, because my family had drilled the fear of hell into me so hard that it honestly kind of made me a nervous wreck, so when I ditched religion and really questioned my identity, ‘straight’ didn’t fit the bill. It didn’t feel right, but ‘gay’ didn’t either. I just liked pretty people! 

Worst Bi experience/story? 

 It’s a tie between my father and an ex psychiatrist. My father was very homophobic and always called me slurs and harassed me for not wanting a relationship in my teens and instead being more concerned about my friendships.  (I’m a few shades of aromantic to boot)   (ps. getting a boyfriend didn’t help)  He also banned me from seeing Rent because it would ‘turn me gay’ (I was also banned from Harry Potter for similarly stupid reasons. I’ve yet to read the books and I just saw Rent a couple years ago) 

My Ex psychiatrist tried to actually diagnose me with gay (first bi, then ultimately just ‘gay’) , notes in my folder and everything plus factoring that into my medication dosage, because the only reason I didn’t want a boyfriend was because I was ugly and that’s how gays are made.No, it doesn’t make sense.  And that’s why Goth doesn’t go to brain doctors anymore.

It’s a mixed bag for me. I love my bi peeps being validated on a mainstream platform, but ffs can we pease stop with the ‘is x actually gay???’ fake dilemma that doesn’t even consider bisexuality as a real and normal thing  (looking at YOU, OITNB) 

Or media that portrays bi people as seductive, home-wrecking sluts who only think with their crotch

Or characters that were ‘confirmed’ bi on twitter or something but their actual source material only has them interested in the opposite gender or it’s all just subtext. I want text, dammit!

In summary, I’m not exactly pleased and we have strides to make before we shake off the outdated tropes, but this scene is a big leap in the right direction:

hello! i’m jo & i’ve been searching for a crime rp that isn’t pure smut for twelve years ( in azkabaaaaan ). i also needed a group where i can play an older fc, bc deep down i’m a 40 y/o woman. heyooooo. and now for eva.

marie barovsky (pronounced mar-ree with a hard ar bc y not) was the product of ukrainian parents, desperate to come to the states. her parents ran a lil ukrainian bakery in nyc that was all sweet an honest until they went bankrupt and borrowed money from the russian mafia in america back in the day. ( yes this is inspired by red’s backstory from oitnb, sue me)

they pretty much went bankrupt again yeaRS later when the gang wanted to money back and decided to take their bakery for it. so her parents moved back to the ukraine.

by this point marie had ‘fallen in love with’ a member of the gang called nikolai barovsky and decided to marry him.

he left the mafia life behind for her and they moved to valdez together where marie used her knowledge of crime to study law.

she became a qualified defence lawyer and quickly became known for her ability to defend the most evil of criminals. that’s when she fell in to the savages sights, she even represented their members a few times. 

her motto was, and still is. get the verdict by any means necessary. so she’s done some not so authordox stuff to get people found not guilty.

nikolai wasn’t happy about her career startegies, so he tried to leave her. not wanting him to tell anyone about her dealings, marie hit him with her car. the police however listed the death as a revenge crime from a victim of one of the criminals she got released. It’s still an open case. The savages helped her cover her tracks.

she then took a few years off and suddenly resurfaced, now a fully fledged loyal savage member.

but that’s her backstory

since then she’s gone on to represent the savage members many times. prosecutors have switched cases after just hearing her name.

only higher up members of the gang know the truth about her husbands death.

she usually takes the more serious cases like murder etc, bc of her experience.
