Fandom Awareness
"Seems like we're all done with the preparations! I do love when a plan comes together seamlessly like this~!"
"I'll be right with you, girls, I just have a few things to set up before I leave Leanbox for a bit. It pains me SO to leave my DARLING Vert to handle things on her own for even some days... but alas, I have so many duties. Now let me update my social media real quick..."
((This post is just to make people aware of franchises which I'm most familiar with. Since I'm crafting missions around the characters I get, the most familiar I am with the series, the more confident I will be on my posts and the less research I'll have to do, which might result in faster posts. Due to OneHeart's ability to mimic people or take forms that people know, it also requires more research from me if I don't know the series that well. Please note, however, that this blog is open to ALL FANDOMS and OCs. This list is just for light referencing, and knowing me, I definitely forgot some so I'll update it a bit along the way:))

Congratulations on 500! 🎊
For the event, my team is Venti, Xiao, Kazuha, and Kokomi! I call them the stamina reduction squad since all of them have stamina passives lol. If you can also add some headcanons for Weinlesefest. That'd be great!
Venti is the favourite he has polar star, c1, and three crowns, but don't tell anyone
Hope your event is going well and that you have a nice day!
Thank you!! (Main request is Weinlesefest, but lowkey Summer Fantasiaand Irodori Festival spoilers included)
⊱ ────── {⋅. ✯ .⋅} ────── ⊰
Team: Venti, Xiao, Kazuha, Kokomi (+ Weinlesefest)
Venti and Xiao already know each other briefly when Xiao heard Venti's music, and Kazuha and Kokomi also know each other from Kazuha being in the resistance for a short time
Kazuha and Venti being music buddies, Venti playing the lyre and Kazuha playing the zither (+ Xiao feeling relaxed when they play)
Venti trying to get Xiao to open up more... but being very chaotic in the process
Kokomi doesn't really like the idea of Xiao going head first into battle, as she thinks about her comrades' health
But then she learns that Xiao has c e n t u r i e s of experience, and opts for him allowing her to heal him afterwards instead
Kazuha's calm nature unintentionally is what draws Xiao to open up to him
Eventually they both speak about their past- Kazuha with the Musou no Hitotachi and Xiao with the Five Yakshas, and it seems they can relate to each other more than they think
Xiao usually likes to be alone, but Kazuha often goes and sits with him, not saying anything. Just some silent and peaceful times.
Kokomi gets excited when Venti tells her he's met "Zhenyu", and they like to have conversations about "A Legend of Sword"
Venti sneezing as much as my dad when Kazuha brings his cat
Kokomi teaching Kazuha more about Genius Invokation TCG. He'll be a pro after learning with a strategist.
Kazuha declining Venti's constant offers for a drinking buddy, cautious because he knows there's always a possibility of a "fruity cocktail"
Weinlesefest:
The four of them participating by creating their own fecund blessings around Mondstadt <3
Jean encouraging them to also find and open other fecund blessings to make them feel more welcome and enjoy Weinlesefest
Venti trying so hard to influence what ingredients they should put in the wine the group makes (after all the Anemo Archon needs its approval) and the three completely ignoring him

[Do Not Reblog]
The last time I did this was early 2022, so let's update it. (This information is accurate as of 1/19/2024.)
Personal
Name: Archer Sims
Pronouns: He/Him
Birth Year: 1988
Signs: Sagittarius Sun, Moon, and Ascendant
Where: Midwestern United States
Magical Interests
Right now I’m extremely interested in learning about as many magical areas as possible while I figure myself out, but my focus is currently drawn to these subjects:
Chaos magic and sigil magick
History of witchcraft
Types of witchcraft and paganism
Cultural studies + open & closed practices
Familiars
Divination (especially tarot)
Death and dying (purely educational)
Some Of My Favorite Magic Blogs

Fun Facts
I chose my name as a reminder of my goals. “Archer” because it takes practice and discipline to learn archery, while also suggesting you should always keep your target in sight. “Sims” because one meaning is “he who listens”, and I’m here to learn as much as I can through as many means as possible.
I enjoy scary and horror podcasts and stories, but also get spooked really easily by them. I talk a big game but am actually a weanie.
I’m an avid gamer - TTRPGs, LARP, video games, board games, etc. In fact, I met my partner through a local LARP.
I am very much an animal person, but my favorite animals are urban “trash” critters, like opossums, racoons, rats, crows, etc. I’m also weak to baby animals of any species.
If money were no object, I would start paying off folks' student loans. I believe education should be accessible, not crippling.
Miscellaneous
Things I Do in My Downtime
I read and write a lot of sci-fi and fantasy.
Watch documentaries about nature and animals (the weirder the better), serial killers, and anything else that catches my interest.
Play video games! My favorites are Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Skyrim, the Persona series, the Mass Effect series, the Horizon series, and Kingdom hearts 1 & 2. I’m also a sucker for a good VN (my current favorite is Jack Jeanne) and musou games.
Practice mixed media art.
Favorite Movies & Shows
Movies: Alita: Battle Angel, Pacific Rim, Cloud Atlas, Stardust, Aliens, Star Wars, Wonder Woman, most of the MCU, too many animated films, and a lot of the classic B&W monster movies.
Shows: Ghosts, Sense8, Futurama, Mythbusters, Dr. Who, Star Trek, Twin Peaks, Dark Shadows (the original), Great British Baking Show, pretty much anything with Gordon Ramsey, and a lot of anime (like Digimon Adventure) and American cartoons (like Steven Universe, The Owl House, and Gravity Falls).
Currently Binging
I’m binging The Witch Daily podcast alongside The Adventure Zone and The Magnus Archives, but intend to check out Hex Positive, The History of Witchcraft, WitchSpace, Seeking Witchcraft, Powerful Trouble, BS-Free Witchcraft, and Books & Broomsticks.

Team Star for Pokemon Unite!
I've been working on Pokemon Unite posts for a while, and I've churned out multiple posts for multiple pokemon. However, I've never made up an entirely new Game Mode, but I figured I'd take a crack at it. And what better start than a mode featuring everyone's favorite group of delinquents?
I've had this idea sitting in the draft for a while, but with Pokemon Unite releasing a new Game Mode featuring Paldean Pokemon, I thought now would be a good time to put this idea out there for fans of Team Star.
The Reveal
The name of the battle mode is called Starfall Street, and it features all 5 Leaders of Team Star versus you and two other players. The battle map is a mostly linear arena where you and your teammates start off in an isolated corner and will have to fight your way through hordes of pokemon. And of course, the banger music is blasting for the entire round.
While you do battle and level up and evolve throughout the round, the fight is treated more like a Musou game where you are strong enough that you can defeat the weakling mobs with just one hit. The 'commanders' are the ones you'll have to worry about as they have more HP and require special conditions to defeat. Defeating them not only gives you a lot of EXP, but you will also gain a permanent stat boost that lasts until the end of the round. And trust me, you'll need it.
The last stretch of Starfall Street pits you and your allies against the Starmobile, a Revavroom modded into a massive vehicle, backed up by little Varooms around its body acting as turrets. Depending on which member of Team Star you've summoned, the Starmobile will use different attacks and have different effects and abilities. Successfully beating Starfall Street not only nets you some sweet loot, but also Star Points specific to the Leader you've defeated. Get enough of these medals and you'll be able to exchange them for prizes like maybe Holowear or a Unite License.
That's about the gist of the whole mode, but if you're interested in learning more about the specifics of Starfall Street, you'll find it under the 'Read More' section of this post. There, I'll explain the little nuances that set this fun little side mode apart from the main battles of Aeos Island. But be warned, there's a LOT to cover.
-
Battle Preparations
Since only three players can play in a round, this mode is only available in Quick Battles. Not only that, you and your allies are the only human players in the match, as all of your enemies are all bots.
That said, this mode is similar to Boss Battle mode where some items are less effective than others. Stacking items like Attack Weight and Sp. Attack Specs are useless as you cannot score a goal here, but other items are also not as effective due to the way the match plays out. Because there are always enemies on screen, Float Stone, Assault Vest, and Leftovers are similarly ineffective as you'll never have a moments rest during the game.
Aside from that, the Fluffy Tail item will be super useful as all opposing pokemon are Wild Pokemon. Full Heal will also be useful as it allows you to escape a certain KO a Wild Pokemon might try to trap you with.
As for which pokemon will be most effective, it really depends on the composition you have set up with your allies. Supporters aren't going to be as desperately needed as they were in Boss Battle, as you'll soon find out, but having a player being able to reliably hinder the enemy will be important later.
The Fight Begins
When the match starts, all players will be at Level 1, just like in every other mode. However, players will not get EXP from defeating the Wild Pokemon normally.
First off, you'll run into a bunch of weaklings as you travel throughout the map, which has some slight variations between rounds. The wild pokemon are all similarly weak and can be defeated easily with a few boosted basic attacks or instantly with a damaging move. If they do get close enough, they will use a basic attack, which is shockingly strong and can take a huge chunk of HP out of your frail Attackers if they aren't paying attention.
It should be noted that these 'Wild Pokemon' are actually all Team Star owned Grunts that are sent out to try and stop you from advancing into the map. Also, while they are 'easy mobs', you'll also be running into the pre-evolved forms of playable Pokemon, such as Gastly and Fletchinder.
It isn't advised to split up until you've accrued some decent boosts. While the weakling pokemon will be spawning endlessly, there are set spawns within the map that have 'Commanders' waiting for you. These 'Commanders' are much stronger than the Grunts you've been fighting and have their own gimmick. When you run into them, there will be an icon over their head that shows what kind of Commander they are and how to defeat them.
The Commanders
One type of Commander will have the Basic Attack Button icon over their head. This means that the mob can only be defeated by basic attacks, as any other type of damage dealt will be drastically reduced. On the other hand, there are Commanders with two circles over their heads, with 1 and 2 within them respectively. These Commanders can only receive damage by moves, which shuts out some pokemon from being able to defeat them entirely, like some Supporters. Another type of Commander has a Triple Star icon, which means they are resistant to all damage until they receive a Crowd Control Hindrance. Either Freeze or Stun or Incapacitation will open up their HP bar to damage, and they will become vulnerable for 4 whole seconds, regardless of the hindrance received. There's a Commander with an upwards pointing arrow that signifies that this pokemon can only be damaged heavily by a pokemon powered up by a boost. It could be any boost, not just X Attack, and these are available all over the map in the form of Liechi Berries and Salac Berries. And lastly, there's a Commander with an Evolution icon over its head, which means that only evolved pokemon can damage it. These can vary in a way that these Commanders will require either a 2 stage or a 3 stage pokemon to contend with them, and they will appear in the match if at least one player has a pokemon that can evolve (these will not appear if all players are playing Single Stage pokemon).
Defeating these Commanders is one of the few ways you and your teammates can gain EXP for this mode, as defeating all the weakling mobs won't get you any EXP. However, it isn't a waste of time to beat these pawns up.
The Colors of the Stars
Each Leader of Team Star specializes in a specific Type, and they will be all over the place throughout the match. However, the way luck works is that some Leaders won't be able to appear at all, as that's just how the RNG rolls. But since only one Leader will challenge you at the end of the mode, you can manipulate this by focusing on that Leader's Grunts. For instance, if you want to summon Mela, you'd be focused on defeating all of the Fire Types you see. If you want to fight Atticus, you and your team would need to beat up all the Poison Types you see.
In addition, each pokemon type you defeat gives you a permanent stat boost for the match, depending on the Type of pokemon it was. Defeating Mela's Fire Types powers up your Basic Attack Speed and HP. Defeating Atticus' Poison Types boosts your Movement Speed and improves your Hindrance Resistance. Giaccomo's Dark Types reduces the Cooldown of your Moves and increases the power and effects of your Unite Move when you defeat them. Overcome Eri's Fighting Types and your Defense and Sp. Defense stats are boosted. And lastly, Ortega's Fairy Types boost your Attack and Sp. Attack when defeated.
The weakling mobs give you a very weak boost when defeated, but defeating Commanders gives you a bigger boost to their respective stats while also granting you a lot of EXP. Defeating these pokemon fills up a Star Meter on the HUD which shows how many pokemon of that type you've defeated while also conveying the overall power you've built up from all of this fighting. There is one exception to this grind.
Regardless of which Star Leader is most likely to appear, there will always be Varooms and Revavrooms roaming the map. Varooms are fast little buggers that take reduced damage from basic attacks, but can be instantly defeated by any move. Successfully defeating one gives you some power and speed boosts as well as a mild EXP boost, not as much as a Commander, but is otherwise easy enough to deal with.
Revavrooms, on the other hand, are extremely dangerous and they will roam around the map at high speed. While they are Commanders, they do not stay in their set spawn for very long and start driving around. It's even possible to run into one within the first minute of the game. However, they are not hostile for the most part, and can only damage you by directly running into you. If you hit them for even 1 damage, though, they will turn aggressive and start to harass you relentlessly. They turn their cruise control into a demolition derby and hit for so much damage, you'll be taken out in 3 hits at the least.
The only way to safely defeat them is to bait their charge attack into a wall or obstacle, which is easier said than done. They like to charge up their attack while drifting, and are completely resilient to damage while doing so. If you manage to trick them into running into a barrier, they'll be stunned for the moment and will then take increased damage from all of your moves. Successfully defeating one nets you a boatload of EXP, increases all of your stats by a hefty amount permanently, and drastically increases your attack power and movement speed for a short while. These boosts can be shared with your teammates if they participated in the fight, but the player who aggro'd the Revavroom will get a bigger cut. You could coordinate with your team to patch up your EXP deficiency in this way if you run into a Revavroom, you know, before it runs into you.
One last thing, while Revavroom is part Poison, defeating it and the Varooms running around the map will not add to the possibility of Atticus showing up for the last minute of the fight. These little motors are meant to be big fat EXP buffers.
The Constellation Map
As I've stated before, the maps differ between matches, more specifically, there are 5 variations.
Variation 1 is a wide open field that is mildly circular, with tents and trees acting as obstacles. Variation 2 is a forest where the trees have split the map up into 3 lanes with slight openings between them. Variation 3 is a large oblong field where the Starting Point is set within the middle by the border. Variation 4 is a long stretch of land where most of the Commanders are set to spawn in small pockets off the path. And Variation 5 is a huge field where the only obstacle is the large tent in the middle of the arena.
If any of these maps sound familiar to you, I did base these off of the Base Raid you partake in when you storm the bases of Team Star. They're not totally accurate, as I can't quite remember what they looked like exactly, but I'm more interested in balance than accuracy here.
Something I should mention is that, all throughout these maps there are Vending Machines where you and your allies can run to for emergency healing. While these were free and infinite in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, in this game mode for Pokemon Unite they will have limited uses. Some will only have 2 stocks before they run out while others may have 4.
As such, it is very important to maintain constant teamwork throughout the match, as not only are some pokemon better equipped to handle some of the Commanders, but they also have a greater need to power up their respective stats. An Attacker may call dibs on all the Fairy type mobs, but a Supporter may also need them to boost its Sp. Attack in order to increase the healing they can provide. Different pokemon have a greater need for specific stats, so it's important to recognize who needs what the most.
It's also really important that your team stays together until you have sufficiently powered up enough where an ally can safely venture off on their own. The more total pokemon you defeat, the greater the score, which increases your rewards at the end of the match.
The Stellar Admins
While the Grunts are everywhere and the Commanders can show up at any time, there's an even more powerful Wild Pokemon called an Admin that you can run into, and they're very dangerous.
Admins are playable pokemon that you can run into during a game, and each one has a modified playstyle and moves that make them drastically play differently from the bot versions you might run into. They hit very hard too, but thankfully they have a predictable pattern.
Mela's Stellar Admin is an opposing Talonflame that can only use two moves, Fly and Flame Sweep, which is its Unite Move. When the encounter begins, it will open up with Fly and will try to attack the weakest member of your team. After landing, it will then use Flame Sweep to target the healthiest ally. Whether it hits or misses, it will rinse and repeat with this attack pattern. Stellar Admin Talonflame is very tricky to fight as it's Fly and Flame Sweep hit hard and is difficult to counter, but it's HP is very low and requires a good clean hit to put down.
Giacomo's Stellar Admin is an opposing Zoroark. It will always spawn in with its Illusion ability active and can hold it indefinitely until it is attacked. Zoroark will disguise itself as a Grunt and patrol the map, but will not attack you and your allies and will always try to run away. If attacked, Zoroark will counter immediately with two different moves. A Melee attack will have Zoroark respond with Nightfall Daze, its Unite Move, and hit really hard. A Ranged attack prompts it to use Night Slash against the attacker perfectly. Both of these counterattacks hit really hard, but if you survive, the Zoroark will then run away. It will not counterattack again for 7 seconds, during which time it is vulnerable. But if it is allowed to move off-screen and out of sight of you and your allies, it will pop its Illusion ability and start the whole process over. If you suspect a wild Zoroark roaming about the map, be prepared for a tricky fight and try to open up with a powerful single hit to take care of Zoroark before it can retaliate.
Atticus's Stellar Admin is an opposing Gengar that starts every round with its Unite Move, Phantom Ambush, always active. When you and your allies are near, it will always circle one of you, with the purple wisp above your head your only hint that it's nearby. Then, it will begin to throw Shadow Balls indiscriminately, dealing heavy damage. Unlike Phantom Ambush as it's used by a player, Stellar Admin Gengar will become invisible again after throwing out a Shadow Ball, making it very hard to track down. It will never perform the final hit of Phantom Ambush, so that's one thing you and your team won't have to worry about. To fend off Gengar, you'll have to get lucky and hit it with an attack, or counter it's attack with a hindrance or a debuff. Stellar Admin Gengar will be forced to become visible if it is under the effects of a hindrance or a Damage-Over-Time effect, making it easier to deal with. It also moves about predictably, as it always circles the ally with the least amount of HP. As Gengar is a frail Speedster, a few lucky hits are just enough to bring it down.
Ortega's Stellar Admin is an opposing Wigglytuff that spends the entire match using Sing. It walks around at increased speed and its Cute Charm ability is always active, making it very difficult to keep your distance. When an enemy is put to Sleep, it stops Singing and uses Double Slap repeatedly. These hits are rigged in that they will constantly hit the highest amount of damage, which is annoying, but is still pretty weak. However, Sing can put you and your allies to Sleep for much longer than normal, which can be very terrifying if you get caught while at low HP. In order to deal with Wigglytuff, there's an exploit you'd have to take advantage of. If you wake up and run away, Wigglytuff will go back to using Sing indefinitely, but if you wake up and stay put, Wigglytuff will keep using Double Slap on the nearby ally, giving your team an opening to rush in and attack. This means that a bulky Defender or All-Rounder has to be the bait to deal with Wigglytuff, but it's the safest and easiest way to deal with Wigglytuff.
Lastly, Eri's Stellar Admin is an opposing Lucario which is extremely aggressive with Extreme Speed and Aura Cannon, it's Unite Move. It will always open up with a big hit in Aura Cannon, which is modified to have a shorter flight distance, but the Lucario will not let up and proceed to use Extreme Speed right after. This attack dashes for much farther than normal, but rather than attack enemies with it, Stellar Admin Lucario uses it to reposition to a better spot where it will immediately use Aura Cannon again. Because this combination is so fast, it's actually difficult to keep your distance and avoid Lucario's line of fire. Your best bet is to get up close and stay close, strafing to avoid Aura Cannon as it's used. The Unite Move slows down if Lucario is hit with a debuff or a hindrance, so it will take a team effort to put this Stellar Admin down.
There is one Stellar Admin per round that can show up and it can be any one of them in any map. Defeating it nets your whole team with a massive boost, even if they weren't in the fight, as well as a massive boost to the respective stat they provide. KO'ing the Stellar Admin also contributes greatly to the Team Star member showing up at the end of the fight, which is great, unless you and your team is grinding for a different Team Star leader's medals. However the fight goes, the boost and EXP you gain will be very helpful in the last minute of the fight.
The Starmobile Descends
After you and your team have defeated enough pokemon, you and your allies are warped to a specific arena where the Starmobile appears. Which Starmobile it is depends on how many of a specific type you defeated during the game, and each one has their own tricks.
Firstly, each Starmobile, regardless of which Type, has the exact same setup. There's a Revavroom at the face of the contraption which receives the most damage from you and your attacks. There are also Varooms attached to what would be the wheels of the mobile, with each one operating independently of the body. These can be defeated and beaten off, reducing the attack power of the Starmobile as a whole. In addition, some Varoom will spawn and move about the field, operating as a distraction against you and your team, though if you take the bait, you gain EXP and a slight boost to all of your stats, which is a decent backup plan if you haven't fully leveled up enough for the fight.
When the fight begins, the Starmobile behaves as a Boss Pokemon, with visible attack ranges and information being displayed on the HUD. Though each Starmobile version has a different ability and differing moves, they all share a few techniques. Since the face receives the highest multiplying damage of the Starmobile's body, the Revavroom will counter with Lick, which Shoves and Stuns all players and gives it enough time to retaliate with a Torque move. It can also launch Sludge Bomb at far away enemies and will do this automatically if you and your teammates are huddled together attacking from afar. The sludge creates a damaging field that also slows you down. The Varooms on the side will also use Sludge and Poison Gas to fend off your attacks, and they can do this while the main body is attacking, making it very difficult to avoid damage in some cases.
The Starmobile is slow and predictable though, it's just difficult to take down, especially if your team isn't fully leveled up yet. It should also be noted that, before the final battle begins, getting KO'd sends you back to base with no respawn time, so it's very forgiving in that sense. But if you get knocked out during the fight against the Starmobile, you'll be warped back into the boss arena after a lengthy respawn timer, depending on your level. Even 5 seconds of respawn can be a death sentence for you and your team as you'll have even less time to defeat the Starmobile.
One last thing to note, each Starmobile has two unique moves that can change the course of the battle, depending on which Team Star Leader you're fighting. Giacomo's Starmobile can use Snarl, which attacks the entire arena with a raucous engine roar. It slows down and reduces everyone's attack power, but it only deals damage at the end of the move if it attacks uninterrupted. Deal loads of damage to the Starmobile to stop Snarl from finishing. Its other move is Wicked Torque, where the lights get shut out and the Starmobile retreats and leaves the arena. For 2 seconds, you can't damage the Starmobile as it's out of bounds, but it will appear randomly from outside the area with its LED lights beaming into the field. When this happens, it's about to charge in and run all of you over, so get out of the way. If you get hit, you'll be Stunned for 5 seconds, which can be really bad if you didn't pack a Full Heal.
Mela's Starmobile knows Overheat and Blazing Torque. When it uses Overheat, it's body becomes too hot to approach without taking damage. After 5 seconds, the body erupts in flames, damaging everyone nearby. This can happen while it's using another move, so watch out. Blazing Torque has it also reverse and leave the arena just like Wicked Torque, except it will always charge in from the left or right. It's not hard to dodge, but the problem starts with the burning trail left behind. The Starmobile will continue attacking while Blazing Torque is active, which can make its normal and easy to avoid moves difficult to evade damage. Atticus' Starmobile knows Smog and Noxious Torque, where Smog summons a poisonous cloud of gas that damages all enemies around it. It deals more damage than Mela's Overheat, but it doesn't explode and hitting the Starmobile shortens the duration of the attack. Noxious Torque has the Starmobile perform a hard drift around the arena and leaves behind a huge puddle of oil. The oil doesn't damage you or your teammates, but it slows you all down and prevents dashing moves from being used, so try to avoid the hazard.
Ortega's Starmobile knows Confuse Ray and Magical Torque. Confuse Ray has the LED lights of the Starmobile light up and flicker in a confusing pattern. If this light show is beamed directly at you or a teammate, that pokemon will be forced to approach the Starmobile slowly. You can fight it by tilting the control stick left or right, since the Starmobile can only shine the light in one direction, or you can aim and use a Dash move to escape the ray. It's also considered a hindrance, so Full Heal or Blissey's Safeguard can block the beam. Magical Torque has the Starmobile retreat and leave the arena, only to reappear moments later falling in from the sky and crashing down. This full body crash is random and can happen after 1 to 3 seconds of delay, so be on your toes.
Finally, Ori's Starmobile knows High Horsepower and Combat Torque. The Starmobile can use High Horsepower at any point during the match and can even interrupt its own moves to use High Horsepower. The move has the Starmobile perform a hard drift and crash into a wall with the entire side of its body, making it a damaging and difficult move to avoid. Combat Torque has the Starmobile pick a target and focus its aim on them. After a brief charge, the Starmobile drives forward and pushes them into the wall if they were hit. Afterwards, the player gets pinned down and receives increasing damage as the Starmobile revs and holds them down against the wall. The attack ends after 6 seconds but can be shortened if the rest of the team deals lots of damage to the Starmobile very quickly.
One last thing to note. The Starmobile is immune to hindrances and debuffs, but they will contribute to a Stun Meter just like in Boss Battle. However, the first hit of your Unite Move will fill the meter instantly, causing it to buckle and stall, which can interrupt its moves and force it to sit vulnerable for a brief moment. You can use this to deal loads of damage or to stop it from using a problematic move, so make sure you pick the perfect opportunity to pop it.
You Get a Gold Star
Once the match ends, you and your team will be graded on your performance. Each player is scored on damage dealt, damage received, HP recovered, and stun contribution. The number of pokemon defeated will also be shown, as well as the percentage of types they've taken down. Good players who understand the role of their pokemon will be focused on a specific pokemon type, like Defenders primarily gunning down Fighting Types, and it will show in a pie chart in that player's performance chart.
Your team will also be graded on the amount of time it took you all to beat the round. The less time you take, the better you score. The Difficulty also affects the score, with the best possible score coming from Extreme Difficulty.
Reach for the Stars!
Beating up specific Pokemon Types doesn't just get you stat boosts for the match, it also adds to a point voucher in the game's special item shop. For the duration of the game mode, you can earn Star Points based on your score after each round. You get Gold Stars for beating the mode, getting more the higher the difficulty you clear, but you'll also get colored stars from the pokemon types you beat up. Take out a lot of Fire Types and you'll come out of the game with a lot of Red Star Points. Fight a bunch of Fighting Types and you'll get Orange Star Points, and so on and so forth.
You'll get loads of these Star Points for beating the associated Team Star Leader, which is the easiest way to get a bunch of them all at once. And when you have a lot, you can then trade them in for special items in the Starfall Street Shop. Gold Stars can get you generic things like Team Star Stickers or Poses for your trainer card, as well as specific Team Star gear like Helmets and glasses, but specific colors can get you articles of clothing based on the Team Star Leaders. Yes, that means you can trade in a lot of Red Star Points to get Mela's Boots for your Trainer Customization.
Now, that's what would realistically happen if the shop items were made by the Unite Devs, but I would also add in special Holowear to the shop if I had things my way. I'd even include a special Unite License for Revavroom or something like that, assuming the pokemon is popular enough.
-
And that about does it for this post. I'm really enjoying the Panic Parade mode that's currently ongoing in Pokemon Unite, so I thought I'd take a crack at coming up with my own game mode. Now don't get it twisted, this idea has been sitting in my draft for quite a while, I just didn't have the time or energy to put the idea down and finalize it.
Now, there has yet to be a precedent for Pokemon Unite to make wild pokemon playable, especially ones from exclusive game modes like Panic Parade, so I hope that mold gets broken and we get not only the Tinkaton License, but also Flamigo and Bellibolt. Oh, and maybe Revavroom so that Starfall Street can come to Pokemon Unite.
Anyway, I'm still on break, so I hope this post tides you over. Stay tuned for the results of my Pikmin Poll.

Genshin Character Concept: Kunikuzushi
In other words, playable 3.3 Scaramouche except he retains his Electro Vision and also wields a sword. His kit focuses on looping his E and Q as well as dishing out good portions of damage.
Kunikuzushi
Rarity: 5 Stars | Weapon: Sword | Element: Electro
Sex : Male
Birthday : January 3rd
Constellation : Peregrinus
Nation : Inazuma
Talent
>Normal – Iaijutsu: Vertical
Normal Attack: Perform up to 5 rapid strikes
Charged Attack: Consume a certain amount of Stamina to unleash a flurry of sword ki.
Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
>E. Skill – Black Storm Reverie
Kunikuzushi casts down a lightning strike onto his blade, dealing Electro DMG in a small AoE and entering the Violent Raikiri state for 15s. While in this state, Kunikuzushi’s resistance to interruption increases and his attacks are converted to Electro, which cannot be overridden by any other Elemental infusion. Additionally, his Elemental Skill’s CD will reset, and his Charged Attack and Elemental Skill are converted to Kuusho Yoru and Mugen Nisshoku respectively.
Kuusho Yoru:
Kuusho Yoru does not consume stamina. Instead, it consumes 5% of Kunikuzushi’s Max HP to launch a crescent moon-shaped sword slash forward, dealing Electro DMG to enemies along its path.
Mugen Nisshoku:
Kunikuzushi performs a singular circular slash, dealing AoE Electro DMG while also gaining 1 stack of Reconciliation, which will give 1 instance of immunity against DMG from incoming attacks. When an enemy hits Kunikuzushi while he possesses the Reconciliation stack, the stack will explode, dealing AoE Physical DMG and knocking the enemies back. A maximum of 1 stack of Reconciliation can be held at a time.
>E. Burst – Ankokuryuu: Shokei
Judgement is swift and merciless. Kunikuzushi strikes down a raging lightning that is akin to a descending dragon, dealing high AoE Electro DMG. If it hits an enemy while in the Violent Raikiri state, it will deal increased damage while also extending the duration of said state by 4s.
Passive
>Passive I – Kushidagawa
Mugen Nisshoku will recover Kunikuzushi’s HP by 4% for every enemy hit (up to 6 enemies).
>Passive II – Burning Afterimage
When Kuusho Yoru triggers an Electro-related Elemental Reaction, Kunikuzushi will recover 6~10 Energy for himself while also increasing his Crit Rate by 5% for 6s. The maximum Crit Rate Bonus that can be obtained cannot exceed 20%.
> Expedition – Wanderer of Foreign Lands
When sent to an Expedition outside of Inazuma, has a 50% chance of retrieving 2x the result.
Constellation
I. Moon Dragon’s Epiphany
Decreases the CD for Ankokuryuu: Shokei by 20%.
II. Musou Kesagiri
While in the Violent Raikiri state, enemies who got hit by Kunikuzushi’s normal attacks will be marked with Omen. When Kuusho Yoru or Mugen Nisshoku hit enemies bearing the Omen, formless slashes will rain down on them and deal Electro DMG based on Kunikuzushi’s ATK. If these slashes trigger Electro-related Elemental Reaction, Kunikuzushi will recover 15 Energy for himself. Additionally, those slashes also have a 40% of inflicting Omen on hit. Only 1 Omen can exist on an enemy and its duration can only be refreshed by Kunikuzushi himself.
III. Terminal Eon
Increases the Level of Black Storm Reverie by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
IV. Unquenched Atrophy
The maximum number of Reconciliation stacks that can be held at a time is increased to 2.
V. Kesshin Reformation
Increases the Level of Ankokuryuu: Shokei by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
VI. Zenchi Zenbou
While in the Violent Raikiri state, Kunikuzushi will gain +8% Energy Recharge for every second elapsed since he entered the state. A maximum of +50% bonus can be obtained this way. Once he reaches the maximum bonus cap, the duration of Violent Raikiri will be increased by 4s and the CD for Ankokuryuu: Shokei is reduced by 6s. The second effect can only occur once per session of Violent Raikiri. Once he exits the state, the Energy Recharge Bonus will disappear and Kunikuzushi will recover 42 Energy for himself.

Dynasty Warriors Weapon Moveset Power Rankings Part 9
Here are the weapons I'll be covering in this part, comprising of those belonging to Wei, Wu and Shu characters who debuted in Dynasty Warriors 8:
Yue Jin (楽進): Dual Hookblades (双鉤)
Li Dian (李典): Wheeled Halberd (車旋戟)
Lu Su (魯粛): Rake (九歯鈀)
Han Dang (韓当): Short Pike (短戟)
Guan Xing (関興): Wingblades (双翼刀)
Zhang Bao (張苞): Flail Sword (連刃刺)
Guan Yinping (関銀屏): Dual-headed Mace (双頭錘)
Dual Hookblades (双鉤)
EX user: Yue Jin EX attacks: C1/C3 Category: Blades Technique: Dash
“Certain Strong Attacks can attack enemies on the ground.”
The dual hookblades are a swift and easy to use weapon with special gimmicks. In reference to the weapon’s description, the C1, C5 and Jump Charge can attack enemies on the ground. There is also a secret second gimmick in this weapon, where you can press the Normal Attack button after a ground Charge Attack (except the C2) to cancel out into a backflip. This can then be followed with a Dash Attack.
This weapon is similar to the Sword & Hook in the swiftness of its attacks. The EX2 is a bit similar to Xu Shu’s EX1 but with the character flying up while slashing.
Musou Attack 1: Instant Charge (瞬身鋭鉤) A quick dash through the enemy before using the hookblades to brake.
Musou Attack 2: Flurried Strike (震身連斬) Rolls through the enemy before flipping up and slashing. Used in WO4.
Aerial Musou Attack: Star Slicer (斬鉤星墜) Slams to the ground in a glorified Jump Charge.
Tier ranking: A
Wheeled Halberd (車旋戟)
EX user: Li Dian EX attacks: C3/C6 Category: Spears Technique: Whirlwind
“Strong Attacks will send out a wheel that can pull in enemies and attack them.”
The wheeled halberd is a combination of a spear and projectile weapon. With the exception of the C2, each Charge Attack will shoot out the wheel of the halberd, with the C5 and C6 sending out two wheels.
You can connect a C1 or C4 with another C1 to collide the two wheels and send them bouncing against each other. If you get the direction right, the same can be done with the C5 and C6 as well, but it’s best not to bother if you have a weapon with Level 10 Velocity. Depending on what moves you perform (and whether there are any obstacles in the way), you can get the wheels to bounce up to 6 times.
Musou Attack 1: Imperial Fire (炎帝) Sends out a large wheel that releases a whirlwind in front of you. Apparently, the fire effect was only added in 8XL when the wheel is fired. Not that fiery, then.
Musou Attack 2: Royal Lightning (雷公) Sends out two electric wheels before using the halberd as a lightning rod when the wheels return. Used in WO4.
Aerial Musou Attack: Regal Wind (風伯) Sends out two cyclone wheels.
Tier ranking: B
Rake (九歯鈀)
EX user: Lu Su EX attacks: C3/C6 Category: Spears Technique: Whirlwind
“The attacks change depend [sic] upon the terrain.”
Sweep up your enemies with this rake- no wait, that’s a broom. Meh, whatever.
The gimmick of this weapon isn’t so much that your attacks change depending on the terrain, but more that you fire off particles depending on the terrain. This only works for the C2, C4, C5, C6 and EX1 attacks. For example, if you’re on grass it will fire off dirt; if you’re in the water or in a castle it will fire off rocks; or if you’re on a wooden structure it will fire off shards of wood (unfortunately it doesn’t work on every surface). Sometimes it will also fire off spiked ores. Aside from that, it’s another cohesive weapon.
Musou Attack 1: Boulder Wave (岩隆波) A simple slash that sends enemies airborne.
Musou Attack 2: Mountain Strike (大山隆落衝) Slams down to bring up a boulder from the ground before jumping up and smashing it. It’s kind of like Yueying’s Musou Attack 1 except the smashing boulder does hit enemies. Take note that the second hit doesn’t affect enemies at close range, aka directly below you. You can then follow this up with a Jump Attack or a Jump Charge. Used in WO4 even though I predicted him using the Musou Attack 1.
Aerial Musou Attack: Vicious Drop (陥縛落) Sweeps enemies into the air before blasting them away, aka yet another glorified Jump Charge.
Tier ranking: A
Short Pike (短戟)
EX user: DLC (7-7XL), Edit characters (7E), Han Dang EX attacks: C2, C6/C3 Category: Spears Technique: Whirlwind
“The Switch Attack can be initiated even when under enemy attack.”/“You can build up your power during Strong Attacks by holding down the button.”
There’s a funny story with the short pike. This weapon was originally introduced as DLC in 7 (with Dian Wei being shown using it in the promos). In WO3, the weapon was given to Nemea, but in 7E, they couldn’t find or create a character to use it so it became an edit character-exclusive weapon with EX and Musou Attacks. Finally, the short pike found a home in 8 with Han Dang. At the same time, the weapon was also rejuvenated with a modified moveset and gimmick to go with it, though the C4 and C6 was carried over from 7.
The gimmick of this weapon (in 8) is that you can charge up your Charge Attacks by holding down the button to make the attacks stronger or longer. Even if you don’t know about the gimmick, the short pike is another simplistic and cohesive weapon. I think the changes in 8 could have been a good opportunity to change this into a Shadow Sprint weapon as well. The C3 in 7 supports additional inputs.
Musou Attack 1: Hostile Action (怒気開放) Make enemies know not to mess with you by unleashing a shout and slamming your weapon into the ground. Used in WO4.
Musou Attack 2: Total Gamble (乾坤一擲) Throws your weapon like a boomerang before rushing forwards and giving a flying punch.
Aerial Musou Attack: Unbridled Rage (憤怒爆降) A targeted attack that takes an enemy and throws them up before you leap up and slash them. If you miss, it’s just a glorified Jump Charge.
Edit Character Musou Attack 1: Earthsplitter (白天殺) Slashes up before leaping into the air to stab your weapon into the ground.
Edit Character Musou Attack 2: White Flash (白閃葬) Twirls your weapon around before stabbing the ground and releasing a shockwave. Its effectiveness is a bit underwhelming.
Tier ranking: B
Wingblades (双翼刀)
EX user: Guan Xing EX attacks: C5/C1 Category: Blades Technique: Dash
“Slice at the enemy while gliding through the air as if flying.”
The wingblades are two greatswords with handles at the top instead of the back. The attacks are swift, but they sometimes make you go all over the place, case in point the C4, C5 and C6. The C3 supports additional input and the Switch Attack can be performed in the air. The C2, C5 and EX1 can be followed with a Jump Attack or Jump Charge.
Musou Attack 1: Skyslider (天空滑閃) Leaps into the air and flies down to the ground. Used in WO4.
Musou Attack 2: Lunar Dash (偃月天空刃) Takes out Guan Yu’s Crescent Blade and unleashes a whirlwind that sets enemies on fire similar to Guan Yu’s Musou Attack 2. Why the fuck is this a thing? Imagine being this unimaginative.
Aerial Musou Attack: Windrider (天空旋回) Dives in the air four times before a finishing flourish. Initially, I thought that this Musou should have been the Musou Attack 1, but since you finish in the air, you can connect to an aerial attack.
Tier ranking: D
Flail Sword (連刃刺)
EX user: Zhang Bao EX attacks: C5/C4 Category: Blades Technique: Dive
“The weapon can extend during Strong Attacks, increasing its reach.”
Calling this weapon a sword is a misnomer because it’s actually a gauntlet. Also, do you see the flail swinging around when attacking? That’s what Yuan Shao’s Extension Blade should have been like. The attacks on this weapon seem a bit weak and it takes a bit of time to get used to. The C2 is a two-stage attack.
Oh I’m sorry, did you say this weapon has a gimmick? Well, I don’t notice it and therefore, I don’t care.
Musou Attack 1: Rapid Thrust (連刃千撃) Grab some enemies and swing them up. No, not away, up, which means that it’s not as effective as it looks because they aren’t being thrown to knock away other enemies. Used in WO4.
Musou Attack 2: Cobra Strike (蛇矛連撃) A targeted attack that channels the power of Zhang Fei’s Double Pike to hit an opponent six times or just do a couple of slashes. While it may not be a rehash of Zhang Fei’s Musou Attacks, I have to say the same thing I said for Guan Xing’s Musou Attack 2; why the fuck is this a thing?
Aerial Musou Attack: Mighty Blow (金剛襲撃) Stomps the ground and delivers a punching slash.
Tier ranking: E
Dual-headed Mace (双頭錘)
EX user: Guan Yinping EX attacks: C4/C3 Category: Clubs Technique: Whirlwind
“Rotating the left stick during Strong Attack 3, 5 or 6 will increase your attack strength and number of attacks.”
The gimmick of this weapon is best used with a controller, but if you have to use a keyboard, you need to mash WASD either forwards or backwards. The only drawback because of this is that you are unable to change direction during a Charge Attack. If you are successful in mastering this gimmick, you can spam the C3, C5 or C6 for longer.
An additional gimmick of this weapon when used by Guan Yinping or any character with this weapon as their EX weapon is that when you activate the EX1, your attack speed and movement speed will increase for 16 seconds and on top of that, all Charge Attacks except for the C5 will create tornadoes. The EX2 has her lift up a massive boulder, which also glows red when empowered by the EX1.
To make it easier for PC users to use this weapon, maybe the gimmick could be implemented by additional inputs or by a timing gimmick similar to the Circle Blade.
Musou Attack 1: Military Training (演武) Simply twirls the mace around before a final swing. Used in WO4 even though I predicted her using the Musou Attack 2.
Musou Attack 2: Sparring Practice (組手) A targeted attack that has her twirl her mace at an enemy, then throw it to them and kicking them in the groin to bring it back up.
Aerial Musou Attack: Warm-up Exercises (準備運動) Yet another glorified Jump Charge.
Tier ranking: B

What I'm Watching, Spring 2023 Anime Season
New Stuff:
Oshi no Ko (My Star) - I don't want to say anything about this in case it spoils someone. What the actual fuck. Watching.
Edomae Elf (Otaku Elf) - I've been asking for elf-in-real-world aesthetic for a while. There doesn't appear to be like, a plot, but I like the idea!
Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru: Level Up wa Jinsei wo Kaeta (I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too) - With a light novel title like that, I needed to at least see what's going on. If it gets boring I'll drop it.
Isekai One Turn Kill Neesan: Ane Douhan no Isekai Seikatsu Hajimemashita (My One-Hit Kill Sister) - It's not exactly a super creative twist on the formula (there was one with the guy's mom before) but what the hell, there's some potential quality here. Sticking with it for now or until it crosses over the Rule D line.
Jigokuraku (Hell's Paradise) - It's MAPPA, I basically owe them a watch no matter what. Plus there's always room for at least one edgy anime in my lineup each season.
Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou - I went in expecting this to be bad (like, BAD bad) but I'm so perplexed that I guess I'll watch some more? Worst CGI this side of Gibiate though.
Kanojo ga Koushaku-tei ni Itta Riyuu (The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion) - This is a cross between the Villainess and Reincarnated as a Nobody microgenres. I don't feel like I know much at all about the characters after one episode, but I want to see where they take the concepts.
Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia (Insomniacs After School) - Slow and cute and relatable. I'm told it gets emotional later. Anyway I'm in.
My Home Hero - Another candidate for edgy show of the season. I didn't expect so much suspense.
Skip to Loafer (Skip and Loafer) - Small town girl in the big city, odd couple, wholesome romance... yeah this might be just right for me.
Tengoku Daimakyou (Heavenly Delusion) - I thought this would be science fiction social commentary time. Maybe it is, but it's interesting one way or another.
Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru (Loving Yamada at Lv999) - This is looking interesting! A lot of style and things going on.
Otonari ni Ginga (A Galaxy Next Door) - This originally wasn't on my list at all due to "children" and "show about making manga". I decided to give it a shot in the end and it's cute enough with just enough of a hook that maybe I'll actually like it.
Dead Mount Death Play - Another latecomer to my list. It impressed me with the premise and action scenes in the first episode, and I'm still looking forward to more reverse Isekai.
Sequels:
Birdie Wing: Golf Girls' Story Season 2 - Hell yeah, more lesbians doing wacky golf.
Dr. Stone: New World - Bill Nye the Caveman Guy on a boat? Sure!
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc) - It's more Demon Slayer, everyone is watching this.
Carryovers:
Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai (Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible) - The most I've been able to deal with a bulli anime, due to barely being that. Delayed across seasons due to COVID.
Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu. 2 (BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense. Season 2) - More of the same, but still good. Delayed across seasons due to COVID.
Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo Season 2 (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2) - My first real foray into GUNDAM, carrying on from Fall 2022.
Hall of Shame (things I dropped after one episode):
Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (The Dangers in My Heart) - The main character self-identifies as a school shooter and they put him in social cringe situations. I didn't even make it through episode 1.
Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers - Over the top magical girl parody! If only it was good!

The Prosperity and Fall - 1/7
Sagau!
Oh boy, it's here. 3k+ words, one part out of seven.
Sorry for bad formatting! I wrote this on my iPad and posted it on my phone.
Warnings (please lmk if I missed any!):
Blood, minor swearing, death, gore, graphic descriptions of all of the above, use of Archon abilities for murderderder, ANGST NO COMFORT. Musou no Hitotachi is used to unalive you.
Please, take caution when reading. If you're not in a good headspace, go read about my fluffy, soft Scaramouche or Tsaritsa. If you are, have at thee!
Reblogs appreciated!
PART ONE
Many, many millennia ago, the seven nations of Teyvat had but one god to rule over them all. They called them the Divine One, the Overseer, the kind and benevolent Deity. The Divine One answered to no one but themselves, and yet were kind all the same, making sure everyone had clean water, fresh, nutritious food and were all happy. While they were not the creator of the land, they tended to it as if they were.
Then the Archon War happened.
Blood flooded the plains of Liyue, stained the mountains of Dragonspine, turned the Sacred Sakura of Inazuma pink from the roots absorbing it all.
Countless lives were lost, bones fertilizing the soil quickly enough for nature to grow over the bodies scattered across the lands; but, alas, it was too much for the Divine One to handle.
They wept and wept, body slowly fading as the fighting continued under their weakening influence over the land.
By the time the war was over, the seven Archons sought them out to tell them of their many victories over the gods they so triumphantly executed by their own hands, but they were nowhere to be found. In a panic, the new rulers sent out countless searches, looking for even one drop of the gold and silver and star-blessed blood that their god had.
But it was fruitless.
Teyvat no longer had their Divine One, so beautiful and kind.
This hardened the Archons, building walls around their hearts and nations, their souls and vessels, until many generations of humanity had passed, and their Overseer had all but slipped from memory, only faded, rough drawings of their hands and face, legends passed down by mouth, some so diluted that all they contained were a blurry description of Them and the story of Teyvat’s creation. This was all that was left to remember them by.
When the Divine One disappeared, they left a mark in the exact center of Teyvat, a mark they held on their body when they still existed in the plane of reality; it was a seven-sided shape, similar to the one that marked Celestia and its beings (sans three sides), given to them by their maker. Seven points for seven archons, seven nations and seven elements.
Seven unforgivable sinners.
It was a popular visitation spot, though a solemn one. Anyone who visited kept their voices low and eyes averted, bringing their offerings and then praying.
All of Teyvat awaited the return of their Divine One, but no one expected the chaos that would ensue when they finally did.
After all, They would never descend in mortal form.
—+—
“Dammit! Why a Pyro damage bonus?!”
You slump back in your chair, glaring at the words across your computer screen that signified yet another failed domain run; the Blizzard Strayer goblet would have been amazing for your Kaeya, but alas, the opposite element had to ruin it once more.
Ah well. On to Hu Tao it goes.
You click out of the domain, sighing in exasperation. Of course you were out of Resin, and had no Condensed Resin (damn crystalfly cores) or Fragile Resin either. Well, none of the latter you were willing to spend, anyway. Besides, you could always run the Vindagnyr domain again tomorrow.
A few more clicks gets you to the character screen, Kaeya displaying his current artifacts, which included a two-piece Blizzard Strayer and two-piece Gladiator’s Finale. The stats on both weren’t all that bad—they were enough to deal a good bit of crit damage with a little bit of help from Bennett, who was running four-piece Nobless Oblige—but you were really biding on that Cryo goblet.
“Ah, another day, I suppose.”
One last look at your long list of characters lends a smile to your lips—you, being a medium spender, were lucky enough to have every character in the game, even a C6 Kaeya—before you exit the game and shut your computer down for now.
A big stretch has you turning your head to look at the clock sitting by your bed, reading 2:15 P.M.
“Not a bad time to take a nap.”
As if answering your own statement, you yawn loudly then shake your head, getting up to crawl in bed. You had a day off of work because of a holiday, and a day off always constituted a midday nap.
But before you close your eyes, you make a few notes on your phone’s calendar, mostly reminders for a doctor’s appointment and old-fashioned weapon handling classes, as well as a reminder to PayPal the seller of a bow you had just bought the additional hundred dollars you still owed him. Genshin had gotten you really interested in weapons, and while you certainly weren’t proficient in handling them yet, you had picked up the polearm and bow quite quickly, the bow mainly because of going hunting with your parents and friends when you were younger.
Of course you never shot anything (the deer were always too cute), but you did become very accurate, very quickly learning to land bullseyes on moving targets. You kept the skills up, even to this day, and even reviewed a bit of your rusty self-defense skills by signing up for karate.
With a yawn, you set your phone down on your bedside desk, pulling your blankets up to cover your shoulders, and, with a smile, fall into a light sleep.
Or so you thought.
A dream of you falling through the clouds enters your mind’s eye, fear racing through your body like blood as you flail helplessly in the air.
Fortunately (unlike normal falling dreams), you land safely, nothing more than a bruise or two to show where you came from.
Huh, this dream seems really real—wait, am I lucid dreaming? Cool!
You look at your hands, flipping them over only to see strange symbols resembling the elements appear across your forearms, fading after a few moments, leaving only a faint, seven-sided shape where they once were.
“Weird…” you mutter, standing up and brushing grass off your legs, the green staining your pants. “This seems… really real. Ah well.”
With a quick stretch and a wave of your hands to clear the sparks appearing in your peripheral vision, you begin to walk towards where you think the Anemo Archon’s statue is. Hopefully, if you’re right, you’ll be able to get a grasp of where you are in Mondstadt.
So, if this is a lucid dream, then you can do anything you want, right? That means you can have abilities like Aether or Lumine!
You squeeze your eyes shut and envision their wings from the cutscene at the beginning of the game, but alas, no wings appear on your back, just a bruised ego and blurry vision.
Ah well. Sometimes lucid dreams are a bit disappointing, but hey, if it’s inside the world of the game you so loved—
“You there! Outlander!”
Your thoughts are interrupted by a very familiar voice. Whipping around to face the person, your suspicions are confirmed when you see that the person is the one and only Outrider Amber herself.
Her face turns from confusion to shock to anger.
But… why is she nocking her bow?
“Oh shit—“
You barely spring into action in time, dodging the flaming arrow, which makes a loud thunk in a log before extinguishing itself, but before long, Amber has another arrow ready and almost fully on fire.
“How dare you steal our Divine One’s face?! They would never descend as a mortal!”
What?
This one crashes into a crate placed haphazardly against a tree, shattering the wood into a bunch of pieces and sending a bow and sword flying in opposite directions. You choose the former, noting the fact that it resembled the one star bow all the archers initially came with, but hopefully, it would be enough.
As you fumble around for an arrow, Amber begins to draw again, aiming right for your abdomen to incapacitate you.
On instinct, you pull the string back, watching a star-spotted gold and silver arrow begin to form, the same weight of any arrows back home.
This takes the archer momentarily off guard, long enough for you to loose the projectile into her calf. She cries out in pain, clutching her leg at the injury, distracting her long enough to allow you to scramble to your legs to begin a sprint for your life, still clutching the bow in one hand.
Shit shit shitshitSHIT—
You duck under a tree branch, panting hard, deciding to climb up that same tree to catch your breath. Damn, you really should have gone out on a run more than twice a week.
Once perched on the wood, you carefully peer through the leaves hiding your form from the world around it (the branches seem to close subtly around you) to see if Amber alerted anyone, perhaps a passing patrol or some Vision wielder walking by.
“I don’t think this is a dream,” you murmur, deciding to take a closer look at the bow you snatched from the crate. Your suspicions were indeed correct; it’s the one star bow everyone gets when they pull an archer character, whether they be a four or five star.
The only reason it did anything against Amber’s Polar Star you so painstakingly gave to her (yes, the original team was your team, what could you say, you liked nostalgia) and level 90’d was that you took her off guard. Had it been you that had the arrow driven through your leg, you’d probably be bleeding red all over the grass with a sizable hole in your thigh—
Wait.
A glint of something catches your eye; you look to see that you’re bleeding from a gash in your leg, but that’s not the important part.
It’s the silvery-gold starriness of it that’s important.
You stare at it for a moment, thinking you got some—some sort of glitter on your leg, but nope, it seems like blood alright. It even tastes like iron.
Okay, maybe not red then, but whatever this stuff leaking over your leg was.
Yep, that’s one hundred percent blood. When you wipe it away, letting it drip to the ground, more bleeds out of the wound in your leg. You grimace hard; seems like the scrape is deeper than you originally thought.
On top of the fact that you were dropped into a video game out of nowhere, you also bleed a color not human.
What the hell is going on?
-
In Liyue, a lone Yaksha feels the balance of the land shift. Normally this would be insignificant; the land shifts every day, swaying with the balance of the world and time.
However, this change feels different.
This change reinvigorates the land in ways the Adeptus hasn’t seen in millennia, since the Archon War and when the Divine One disappeared.
The Divine One…
What if it’s them?
What if they’ve come back?
Xiao shakes his head to snap himself out of the hopeful fantasy. Why would they have come back after he and so many other immortals committed grave, unforgivable sins?
And if they had returned, why would he be the first one to sense it? He, the Vigilant Yaksha, the Conquerer of Demons, the one harboring the karma that threatens to overtake him day by day. He, the least worthy to know of the second the Divine One returns to the land.
Why would he be chosen?
Nevertheless, he decides to check out the disturbance, one that feels so similar to the Traveler entering this world, yet so, so different, so hopeful, at the same time.
Maybe he can redeem himself just a bit.
Some uneasy feeling comes over him later, when everything that is to come is said and done. He knows that the glory Teyvat is experiencing is about to fall into despair.
——
You were lucky enough to find bandages to wrap your leg up with. The Treasure Hoarder camp you stumbled across was (blessedly) empty, but it seemed recently deserted, the fire still burning in the evening light.
The hiss that escapes your mouth isn’t a pretty one, though nor is the wound you accidentally received jumping down from the tree. Twisted ankles hurt like a bitch.
When you’re finally finished wrapping your ankle and the other scrape you have, you sit back against a crate and stare up at the night sky, not recognizing any of the patterns of stars dotting the darkness.
It was beautiful.
The occasional shooting star flies across the inky blackness, interrupting it for mere moments before disappearing into the dark once again.
Teyvat seems to be taking it easy on you for the most part, providing you slivers of luck amongst the misfortune you’ve found yourself with in the past day or so.
This world… it seems so familiar, beyond the fact that you’ve been playing the game since its release. It feels…
It feels like home.
The wetness on your cheeks surprises you. You’re only now just crying? After all that’s happened today so far, your eyes now decide to shed their tears?
It makes you laugh.
Somehow, your emotions stayed under wraps while you were scrambling to stay alive against Amber—which, by the way, you never did figure out why she attacked you so abruptly. You suppose that’s why. Adrenaline does some weird things to one who is under its influence.
Watching the flames of the fire in front of you dim into embers, you decide to get some sleep, or as much as you can, anyway.
When your eyelids flutter shut and slumber consumes you, you dream of nothing but golden comets.
—
So Inazuma is definitely out of the question.
Instead of heading straight to Liyue, as you normally would, you manage (on accident) to use a waypoint to teleport straight to Inazuma, merely by touching it.
The only reason you made it to one in the first place was because of Bennett shoving you into a bush, making an excuse up as to what the rustling noise was. Because of Razor, who guided you through Wolvendom. Kaeya, who led the Knights away from you, seeing your fear-addled expression and blood dripping down your temple. And even the girls, Klee and Diona, provide a distraction, Diona tossing her signature mix to the ground and Klee setting it alight, alcohol burning just long enough to provide cover for your escape.
For a few days, nobody notices you under the stolen cloak you procured from an unattended merchant’s stand.
They only begin to pay attention when you trip and fall to the ground, dropping the little Mora you had in your possession, banging your knee on the cobbled streets.
They definitely start to notice when your hood falls off, revealing the face you so tried to keep hidden.
“How dare you steal Their face?!”
So much for anonymity, I guess.
Scrambling to grab the dropped golden coins, narrowly avoiding a rock thrown in your direction, you manage to dodge any other makeshift projectiles sent your way, all the while enduring jeers and taunts.
Who the hell is this so-called revered Divine One? They were never mentioned in Genshin’s lore, and you should know. You spent hours reading up on each nation’s backstory, every detail of lore gobbled up by your knowledge-hungry brain.
Don’t even get started on the characters.
You loved this game with all of your heart, spending countless hours and hundreds of dollars on it.
Guess you’d have to rethink that now that you saw its true nature.
News travels quickly, thanks to the power of Electro, and within days the entire nation is on high alert, looking for the one who dared to have the same face as their god, their high deity.
Somehow luck is on your side once again, as you find yet another abandoned campsite with clothing that mysteriously fits you perfectly. No complaints here.
It seems as if Teyvat is, in a way, trying to shield you or help you out with your troubles with its people.
You send a silent thank-you up to the heavens, sighing at the exhaustion sinking deep into your bones. It’s been a long couple of days, and the stress has begun to take its toll on your body.
No sleep comes to you that night.
Or the next.
Any sleep you do get is filled with nightmares of angry mobs and terrifying Archons, Adepti and any mysterious figures glimpsed in the shadows. You run. You run from them, but even in your waking hours, you cannot escape them.
Liyue is a bit easier to traverse, what with the plains and all, but the mountains there and there make it a challenge to navigate properly. Despite your misfortune with (nearly) everyone seemingly out to kill you or kidnap you, Teyvat seems to have taken mercy on you; slimes are friendly, providing heat when needed and bringing fruits and the like about; Hilichurls are also quite amicable, giving you aid when necessary, and even the samachurls heal you if you need it.
Birds don’t fly away, instead flocking to you. Boars bring you sticks for your fires. Squirrels fall asleep on your lap. Pinecones drop on your pursuers, slowing them down enough to allow you to make a narrow getaway.
Water always seems to be plentiful and clear. Night falls just a bit earlier, concealing your figure in the shadows when the Millelith pass by. Your wounds heal much faster than they normally would.
But, alas, you can only hold out for so long.
Liyueans are ruthless in their actions, cuffing your hands behind your back and immediately bringing you to face the Geo Archon himself. You don’t dare look up at him; any energy you may have had was drained in the chase that led to your capture. But some part of you, some small voice, screams at you to make one last retaliation.
A glob of spit lands on his shoe, eliciting a noise of disgust from his mouth. Venti and Baal look appalled as well, and they show no mercy in their execution.
You knew you shouldn’t have C6’d them.
The suffocation comes first.
Then the shattering of your bones. You can’t even scream.
Lightning shreds your vocal cords as the Electro Archon steps up to you.
“Perish, mimic.”
One of the last things you see is the Musou no Hitotachi ending your life, purple lightning stabbing through your heart and ripping it out through your rib cage.
In those few seconds you’re still alive, you giggle at their shocked expressions when they see the gold and silver star-spotted blood.
“Oh well. Better luck next time. Or never.”
—
An Imagine Dragons ringtone plays in your ear, startling you fully awake, tears soaking your pillow. You glance over to the clock, seeing it reads 3:18 P.M. When you push your hair back stuck to your sweat-covered forehead, you find that your hand comes back with blood, the same colored blood that was in your dream.
Dream?
Was it a dream?
Or was it reality?
Either way, you need to clean yourself up.
You wince at the soreness that wracks your limbs, spotting bruises littering your legs, cuts across your arms and chest, and feeling an ache in your torso; when you look down, you see a faint scar right where your heart would be located, patterned with lightning-shaped marks around it.
What?
You stumble into your bathroom, breath heaving from your lungs, and take a look at yourself in the mirror.
Eyes meet a battered reflection, blood sticky across your head and neck, shadows under your eyes, a scar on your lip—a busted one at that—, tear tracks on your cheeks… so much damage.
And that’s just your face.
The rest of your body hurts more, but you can see it healing—something you thought was impossible. Either way, you bandage the still-open wounds, disinfect the worse ones, and brace your ankle properly, wincing at the dirtied bandages barely holding on.
Somehow, you think, that nightmare was no fantasy horror. No; it actually happened, despite it being seemingly impossible. Video games weren’t reality, so why were you so battered?
Whatever the reason didn’t matter now.
What did was confronting the issue.
You hobble out of the bathroom to your desktop, powering it on and booting your (former) favorite gacha game up. You stare at the loading screen, reluctant to click into the world of Teyvat.
No. Taking a deep breath, you left-click the mouse, watching the familiar elements darken in color as the computer slowly loads into the game.
When your character finally comes into view, your normal team appearing on the side, you make a decision, no matter how petty.
Opening the character screen, you begin to take artifacts off of characters.
First is Jean. The Acting Grandmaster was C3, but now artifact-less. You also give her Dull Blade.
Eula comes next. Pale Flame sits in your inventory, no character using them. Snow-Tombed-Starsilver is replaced by a two-star claymore.
Then comes Albedo. You hesitate, remembering his expression when he spotted you in Dragonspine. It was neutral, and he pointed you in the direction to exit the snowy area. Sucrose clarified for him, even giving you a potion to assist in resisting the cold climate.
Instead of him, you switch to Amber, stripping her of her weapon and artifacts.
Then Lisa. Then Venti. Mona gets left alone, along with Kaeya. (You actually upgrade his weapon.) Diluc? Bye-bye. Rosaria aided you, so she’s ignored. Noelle too. Barbara… you leave her be. Same with Fischl.
On to Liyue characters.
Keqing. Ignore Xiangling. Ignore Chongyun—you toss him Eula’s sword. Zhongli’s artifacts get used to upgrade Razor’s, which feels great. Xingqiu? Bye-bye. Xiao… never made an appearance, so you keep his stuff on him. Same with Qiqi and Hu Tao. Ganyu, Yanfei, Shenhe, anyone else that wronged you is stripped of their pride.
Inazuma now.
Kokomi, Ayaka, Gorou, Kujou Sara, Thoma, Ayato, fucking Ei, anyone and everyone save for Yoimiya, Kazuha, Itto, and little Sayu. You take the hard-earned artifacts off with glee, putting them on characters you favored, reworking your main team, which now consists of Kaeya, Bennett, Razor and Klee. Diona couldn’t fit, poor thing.
Everyone else?
Benched.
The final straw is clicking the uninstall button for Genshin Impact, seeing the guilt-tripping screen come up before the confirmation is selected.
It’s closure.
—
In Teyvat, all of the Archons suddenly feel a burst of weakness that comes with the Divine One swapping their enhancements around, but to their surprise and dismay…
It stays.
Others experience the same, while a rare few feel an increase in their power, shockingly, considering the Archons of all people lost some. Chongyun especially is shocked when he finds his exorcisms working more effectively, while his aunt, still stunned by the killing of Them, can’t even seem to fight off a hilichurl without his help.
Hu Tao jumps around with glee when she’s given a new polearm, so similar to Zhongli’s, while he’s stuck with an Iron Point he can’t seem to convince the funeral director to trade for his old polearm.
In Mondstadt, Jean looks at her sword, stunned, while Kaeya whistles and taunts Diluc with his more powerful blade. The redhead, gritting his teeth, tries to parry his strike, but his brother overpowers him easily. Klee runs around with Diona, fish-blasting with no one but Kaeya to stop them, and why would he?
Venti sits on top of his statue in the town square of the City of Freedom, tears tracking down his cheeks as he tries desperately to command the wind, but it’s like Teyvat just ignores him, only allowing him to control a small breeze, maybe a gust here and there if he’s lucky.
Bennett’s bad luck seems to recede, allowing him and Razor to travel around a bit easier. His Pyro attacks seem to inflict more damage, especially when combined with Razor’s Electro slashes. The wolf-boy also sees an increase in the sheer force in his hits.
Ei just… stares. Stares at her weapon. Makoto would be so disappointed.
The Resistance is panicking, having noticed that the General and High Priestess have lost a great deal of their ability to heal and support. It’s balanced by the Tengu, Kujou Sara, missing her shots that would normally land true.
Kazuha, meanwhile, enjoys the quieter breeze and his newfound, more precise control over Anemo. When the rumors of the Electro Archon losing control of her own element, he merely smiles and laughs a bit. She deserves it, some little, malicious voice in his head says, for killing him.
Ayaka and Ayato feel fatigued, both excusing themselves to bed-rest for a few days, but even that doesn’t help what seems to be a persistent illness.
The individuals you took the artifacts off of or exchanged weapons on aren’t the only ones affected.
All of Teyvat slowly crumbles. Crops fail, wildfires spread, the storm around Inazuma gets worse, monsters invade cities, the Abyss becomes more prevalent, anything you can think goes wrong goes wrong.
The few blessed narrowly avoid the destruction, finding out that the famine doesn’t affect them, or that the fires avoid them, or that the lightning strikes more than a few yards away from them, or that terrifying Abyss Herald seems to ignore them, or the Hilichurls pay no mind to them or their actions.
Prosperity falls into ruin.
And it’s all their fault.

Random sleepy question (hello I was napping and woke up to your post, what an evening): how well do you think the ArSen cast can sing? I've been thinking about one of my ArSen OCs and then my thoughts drifted to the canon cast. Would they like singing? Are they good at it? I've tried searching up stuff sung by the VAs (Katsuyuki Konishi was actually the first I looked, LOL) but all of the songs were... not very much to my taste. Why do VA songs tend to be very loud and shouty and stuff? Where are the quieter, softer songs? Am I just very bad at looking??? 🤣
Either way, please answer this only when you feel like it— and have a nice day!
Oh, I’ve got something good for you! There are actually a few Arslan Senki character songs, sung by the voice actors in-character! These were able to be unlocked in the Arslan Senki x Musou game, and were later released on a CD included with the sixth S1 Blu-ray/DVD release in Japan. You can listen to them here! The tracklist is as follows:
1. Kazeshirube (風導 -kazeshirube- lit. Guided by Winds) by Arslan (CV: Yūsuke Kobayashi) 2. Tatakai, Sore wa Kishi no Shinjitsu (戦い、それは騎士の真実 lit. Fighting, This is the Knight's Truth) by Daryun (CV: Yoshimasa Hosoya) 3. Bigaku no Shōzō (美学の肖像 lit. A Portrait of Aesthetics) by Narsus (CV: Daisuke Namikawa) 4. Namonaki Hoshi (名もなき星 lit. A Nameless Star) by Elam (CV: Natsuki Hanae) 5. Koto no Hane Oto no Sora (言の羽 音の空 lit. Feathers of Words, The Sky of Sounds) by Gieve (CV: KENN)
...I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t looked for songs by Katsuyuki Konishi before. It’s been a while since I last listened to them but I remember quite liking Koran, if only because I amused myself by imagining salaryman Shapur from Corporate Warrior Arslan being persuaded to join the other Pars Corporation employees for karaoke and singing it (and of course he’d have to be drunk to do it, so drunk in fact that Kubard’s going to have to help him get home despite his protests that he’s fine). In terms of softer songs, you might like 祈念 (Kinen).
As far as canon characters go, I know of one canonically good singer (Manuchurh, he apparently had a very beautiful voice) and several bad ones (Kubard, Innocentis, Don Ricardo). There might be some others mentioned, those are just the ones I can remember. Singing is also part of Turanian culture! Burhan sings at one point and so does Jimsa. For the others, it’s not something I’ve really thought about before so I don’t have any headcanons about specific characters yet ...actually wait, I lied, I do headcanon that Gurgin has a pleasant singing voice, not that he tends to use it recreationally, or at all when he’s with Team Zahhak
I remember Farangis singing to lay the dead to rest in the anime (S1 E25). In the novel, it just says that she prays for the fallen. Perhaps melodic chanting / singing is incorporated into the work of priests and priestesses, too? I’m not sure about whether it’s directly mentioned somewhere else in the novels, but I like the idea.
Not directly related to what you’re asking, but it amuses me and I think you’ll enjoy it, too — some of Isfan’s heroic deeds later become the subject of a ballad (something like “Isfan and His Two Wolves, Protectors of the People”). I’m not sure at what stage it went from a story being recounted multiple times to being immortalised as a folk song, but on the offchance Gieve ever found out about it, I am 100% certain he sang it in Isfan’s hearing just to piss him off.
#arslan senki#the heroic legend of arslan#shapur#kubard#manuchurh#innocentis#don ricardo#gurgin#farangis#isfan#gieve#...did you find the katsuyuki konishi BL clips though?

Explanations of Version 2.1 Update Details
Hello, Travelers! Paimon heard that in the new Version 2.1, Travelers will have new islands to explore! Paimon wants to go with you, maybe we'll make new friends along the way~ Seems like there's a lot of new game content to experience. Are you ready? Let's go together!
For this update, the developers also have some elaborations they would like to make. Now, let Paimon show you the explanations from the developers about this new update~
New System - Fishing (Making and Switching of Bait)
After this version update, Travelers will be able to go fishing at fishing spots all over Teyvat after completing the corresponding World Quests and unlocking the system~ In addition, different species of fish will appear in fishing spots at different times in the game!
The fish caught not only can be used to make dishes, but also can be exchanged for precious treasures at the Fishing Association. The Fishing Association in each region has different treasures available for exchange, so Travelers can go to different regions to exchange for treasures according to their needs.
Don't forget to prepare various kinds of bait before fishing! Simply open Inventory > Precious Items and learn the bait recipes to make bait at the Crafting Bench.
Different types of bait can attract different fish. When fishing, Travelers can switch the current bait by clicking the button in the picture.
Clicking the button brings up the screen to select the bait.
Increase in the Level Cap of Sacred Sakura’s Favor
With the release of the new areas Seirai Island and Watatsumi Island, the level cap of Sacred Sakura’s Favor has been raised to Level 30 (originally Level 20 in Version 2.0). While exploring the new islands, Travelers can continue to visit the Grand Narukami Shrine to raise Sacred Sakura's Favor to a higher level.
New Character - "Plane of Euthymia" Raiden Shogun (Electro)
1. Explanation of the attacks by Raiden Shogun in the Musou Isshin state
In Version 2.1, the new event-exclusive 5-star character "Plane of Euthymia" Raiden Shogun (Electro) will be available in the Event Wish. It should be noted that the attacks by Raiden Shogun in the Musou Isshin state is a special kind of attack. It is considered a Normal Attack in terms of its movement type, but the DMG dealt is considered Elemental Burst DMG. In the Musou Isshin state, Raiden Shogun will attack with a sword. These attacks are considered Normal Attacks at this time. Thus, they can trigger the effects associated with Normal Attack movement types, for example: the increase in Normal ATK SPD granted by the weapon Skyward Spine, the consecutive sword rain attacks by Xingqiu's Elemental Burst, or the coordinated attacks by Fischl at Constellation Lv 1, etc. But at the same time, the DMG dealt by the Raiden Shogun's sword while in the Musou Isshin state is considered Elemental Burst DMG. As such, these attacks can trigger effects associated with Elemental Burst DMG or benefit from an increase in Elemental Burst DMG. For example: the Elemental Burst DMG-boosting 4-Piece effect of the Emblem of Severed Fate or the 2-Piece effect of the Noblesse Oblige Artifact Sets will increase the DMG she deals while in this state. On the contrary, the effects caused via DMG dealt by Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks are ineffective in this case. The effects that are unable to be triggered include: the increase in Charged Attack DMG provided by the 4-Piece effect of the Bloodstained Chivalry Artifact Set, and the effect that triggers a vacuum blade via Normal and Charged Attack DMG for the weapon Skyward Spine, etc.
2. Explanation of the issue of accruing Resolve with Raiden Shogun
In the current version (Version 2.1), the following issue can occur with Raiden Shogun:
When the character "Plane of Euthymia" Raiden Shogun (Electro) is added to the party, under certain circumstances, when other characters in the party interact with NPCs, Places of Interest, etc., the effect of stacking Resolve for Raiden Shogun will be triggered incorrectly.
This is because the Raiden Shogun's Resolve should actually be accrued when other characters unleash their Elemental Bursts and thus consume Elemental Energy. However, in the current version, Raiden Shogun's Resolve is accrued as soon as other characters unleash their Elemental Bursts. This issue will be thoroughly resolved in Version 2.2. After that, Raiden Shogun's Resolve will be accrued at the right time. The fix will not affect the use of this character.
About Adjustments Made to Some Monsters
In addition, after the Version 2.0 update, we carried out an extensive feedback collection on Travelers' experience of exploring the open world in Inazuma.
Through feedback and the collation of combat data, we have found that the monster Nobushi is too strong an opponent for many. This is due to two factors: ① Due to Nobushi's ability to jump back, characters' attacks were often unable to hit the Nobushi, ② The cue timing for the Nobushi's sword-drawing technique was too short and could lead to an incorrect assessment for Travelers to act. After in-depth analysis and discussion, we made the following adjustments:
1. Removes the Nobushi's skill to jump back.
2. Optimizes the combat experience when dealing with the Nobushi's sword-drawing technique.
3. Reduces the weight of the Nobushi and Kairagi.
At the same time, we have also found that the core of the Pyro Hypostasis is exposed for a shorter time, compared to Hypostases of other elements. This means that Travelers have fewer opportunities to attack, making the fight more difficult. We have therefore made the following adjustments:
1. Increases the time that the Pyro Hypostasis's core is exposed when it launches a Pyro pillar attack.
2. Increases the duration of the Pyro Hypostasis's re-ignition skill, and optimizes the character's lock-on experience of attacking the Fire Seeds during its re-ignition skill. When all the Fire Seeds are extinguished, the Pyro Hypostasis will end its re-ignition skill earlier.
After the adjustment, we extended its core exposure duration without changing its strength, allowing Travelers to have a longer output time to cast various skills and burst effects.
The developers would like to thank all Travelers for your continued support on this journey. We welcome more suggestions and feedback from Travelers as we strive to ensure the optimal gaming experience.

Meet the Witch
[Do Not Reblog]
I've seen a number of these going around, and thought I'd join in. It's fun to learn about the community!

Personal
Name: Archer Sims
Pronouns: He/Him
Birth Year: 1988
Signs: Sagittarius Sun, Moon, and Ascendant

Magical Interests
Right now I'm extremely interested in learning about as many magical areas as possible while I figure myself out, but my focus is currently drawn to these subjects:
Chaos magic and sigil magick
History of witchcraft
Types of witchcraft and paganism
Cultural studies + open & closed practices
Familiars
Divination (especially tarot)
Death and dying (purely educational)

Fun Facts
I chose my name as a reminder of my goals. "Archer" because it takes practice and discipline to learn archery, while also suggesting you should always keep your target in sight. "Sims" because one meaning is "he who listens", and I'm here to learn as much as I can through as many means as possible.
I don't identify as Wiccan, but I have been reading books from the Wiccan perspective in my research.
I enjoy scary and horror podcasts and stories, but also get spooked really easily by them.
I'm an avid gamer - TTRPGs, LARP, video games, board games, etc. In fact, I met my partner through a local LARP.
I am very much an animal person, but my favorite animals are urban "trash" critters, like opossums, racoons, rats, crows, etc. I'm weak to baby animals of any species.
If I could, I would buy an acreage and turn it into a wildlife sanctuary.
I'm also a sucker for a good VN (my current favorite is World End Syndrome) and musou games.
Practice mixed media art.
Favorite Movies & Shows
Movies: Alita: Battle Angel, Cloud Atlas, Stardust, Pacific Rim, Aliens, Star Wars, Wonder Woman, 99% of the MCU movies, too many animated films, and a lot of the classic B&W monster movies.
Shows: Ghosts, Sense8, Futurama, Mythbusters, Dr. Who, Star Trek, Twin Peaks, Dark Shadows (the original), Great British Baking Show, pretty much anything with Gordon Ramsey, and a lot of anime (like Digimon Adventure) and American cartoons (like Steven Universe and Gravity Falls).
Currently Binging
I'm binging The Adventure Zone: Steeplechase podcast, but intend to check out Hex Positive, The History of Witchcraft, WitchSpace, Seeking Witchcraft, Powerful Trouble, BS-Free Witchcraft, and Books & Broomsticks. It's... going to take me a while.

Japanese anon. On Amazon.jp, 62% of satisfaction is reported for three houses (five star reviews), and 10% insatisfaction (1 star) out of 459 reviews. However, that is a significant amount, and the game has already been discounted in price only weeks after release, and there are rumors of the reviews and price dropping further.
I hope you are enjoying a safe and relaxing vacation,
Hi anon, sorry for the late reply.
I saw those actually, yeah.
Crazy. I do feel bad for the team. Not the writing team, but everyone else. All that work, good solid work, and it's the writing that killed them.
Still, they made their money. It still sold well for a musou.

Hypothetical Rank Up No. 2&3: Astolfo
Monstrous Strength C- -> La Black Luna
Increase own Attack (1 turn) + High chance to apply Terror or Confusion (calculated individually) to all enemies (3 turns)
Got the idea from Extella Link (fantastic game, probably in my top 5 Musous) and how they play in that. In addition to a slight attack buff, it further makes Astolfo a support niche filler with a DOOT induced mental debuff, starting at 50% but high scaling with 100% at rank 10. They’re a clear niche filler already despite their farming capability. They have a piercing aoe np, a randomized star gen and self crit/gather buffing, and a hard stun. Now make it so they’re one of the like, 5 servants who can use non-charm mental debuffs with an AOE Confusion/Fear! (Yes i know what Agartha says about “oh i cant use it with the Chaldea summoning it takes too much magic energy” but who gives a crap about Agartha it should all be retconned to oblivion.)
Trap of Argalia D -> Débauché de l'Orlando Furioso.
Chance to inflict Stun on a single enemy (1 turn) + Apply Target Focus to self (1 turn) and very low chance to reduce all enemies’s NP gauge by 1 charge.
FLAVOR WISE: the name is French for “Debauchee of the Orlando Furioso” referring to the specific myth Fate’s take on Astolfo is largely influenced by. While the actual Astolfo has no account of crossdressing (rather he is described as the most effeminate of the paladins), both the original and Fate’s fall in line with the tale of Astolfo causing havoc in their…revelry, shall we say, making themselves something of a scapegrace. GAMEPLAY WISE: As above with La Black Luna, this is an idea to capitalize on their niche potential, in this case with a unique multipurpose skill that synergies with their NP evade charges. This means that even in that small 10% chance of failing to stun at level 10, they could have a way of absorbing hits even without a defense buff effect on the taunt. Depending on the exact situation though a no-defense-buff taunt could have plenty of particular uses. The charge reduction can be seen as something of a flavorful bonus/emergency gamble rather than something to rely on, being probably no higher than 40% at rank 10 or simply a flat 20-33%.
