//Darius doesn't drink or smoke. He made the mistake of drinking heavily one night while he was still learning what it meant to be Mandalorian and ended up getting dragged back to the hut where he and his buir, Tajur Jaing ( @sundanceofapache ), taught him the meaning of "Cin Vhetin", the Clean Slate.

//Echo actually does drink! But very rarely and only spritzers. She is a lightweight so she only drinks when very distressed. Her favorite drink is actually one concocted by one of her mentors, the Drifter, ( @take-a-gambit ), called an Ether Spritzer. It's cold, bubbly, and very minty.

//Garik Loran drinks but only on special occasions. He might have a Lomen ale from time to time but nothing too serious. He mostly does it for social stuff with his fellow pilots.

//Brava hates alcohol and everything to do with it. Hates the taste, hates the smell, hates everything it puts him through when Loran is drunk. If there is any way he can avoid it, he's going to do it.

//Captain Pellaeon is an old professional who knows when and where it's appropriate to have a glass or two. It's frustrating for him to see the younger crewmen of his ship prone to over-drinking and he strives to keep his example a sterling one. However, when the opportunity and invitation does arise, he's very fond of Corellian brandy, especially the older vintages.

//Yyventriz drinks as well but sparingly and only privately. She doesn't enjoy being drunk but sometimes it softens the edges of the life she and her people are condemned to live. She is determined to make life better. Mark her words she's GOING to DO IT.

//Daniel used to enjoy drinking with friends, often cracking a beer with his buddies after work or down at the shop. However, after being turned into a Cyberman, it's a pastime he misses but can't really enjoy now.

he was reading through reports sent to him by his barons when he heard the question. his head shifts and he blinks slowly at the question as it registers. he opens his mouth, then shuts it when nothing comes out. he clears his throat, cheeks flushed. damnit. "i - yes?" he questions.

Nemo smiled at him, happy to put a face to the Lightbearer, the white stripes of the Awoken marks swaying lightly under her skin with a shimmer. If he would look real close, there were black freckles scattered within them, something quite odd for an Awoken.

Sleeping sickness? Nemo raised an eyebrow but decided to not dig for an explanation much at the moment. Though, she was curious what the Fallen had to do with such a thing. And what was it at all?

“Look, I’m not gonna force you to leave, but maybe you could come out to the City with me from time to time. Ikora would like to talk to you about all this and even if you decide to stay… maybe you could be a link between your Kell and the Vanguard.”

She chuckled quietly, shaking her head. Those two were an interesting match, and the Ghost reminded her of one of her friend’s.

“As your Ghost said, we do try to stick together so whatever problem you might have that keeps you here… we could probably figure something out with Ikora. She’s a really smart woman and a Warlock, like you.”

The warlock listened intently, tapping a gloved hand his chin as he thought. “A link between the Guardians and the House of Shards,” he mused, considering the idea. “Y’know, that could be useful.”

“Yeah, except Yyventriz doesn’t like guardians,” Chance reminded him, hovering by his ear.

Salem winced and gave a nod. “Yeahh, she ‘n’ her house don’t like Guardians much. Don’t like anybody much ‘cept other Eliksni. They only tolerate me ‘cause I help with the, uh, well I help around.”

“And by ‘help around’ he means heal their injuries,” Chauncey chimed in, bobbing forward. “Not gonna lie, it’s actually really impressive. I’ve never seen someone control a healing well like he does. I mean, normally it’s just a pool you stand in right? But with him, he can laser focus it! Saved a Shard’s captain once—which is uh, probably one of the big reasons they keep us around.”

“Huh! Wow, Chance, I think that’s the nicest thing yeh’ve said about me!” Salem said and stroked his chin again. “Still, I don’t think it’d hurt teh ask. I mean, if Yyventrizkel gave permission, we’d be able teh head inteh the city ‘n’ meet yer friend, Ikora, no problem.”

Chance gyrated and bobbed beside Salem. “She’s not just a friend, Salem! Ikora’s the head of all the warlocks in the Vanguard!” he enthused, drawing figure eights in air in his excitement before turning to the awoken guardian. “I’ve been trying to get him to meet her since he woke up. But it feels like everything and its dog has been trying to get in the way. Kidnappings, sleeping sickness—everything, almost!”

“Eh, yeah. It’s been pretty rough. Not the kind a’ beginnin’ yeh think fer a guardian. But yeah, we get permission ‘n’ we can come in.” Salem-217 ran a hand through his curly brown hair, as a thought occurred to him, causing him to look over at his new acquaintance.

“Speakin’ of guardians though,” he said, straightening up, “M’name’s Salem, Salem-217, ‘n’ this is my partner Chauncey.”

“Nice to meet you,” the ghost said and gave a bob like a little bow.

Salem gave a brief smile before turning back to their new companion. “So uh, with this whole link idea, yeh think yeh could let the Vanguard know they don’t gotta send folks after me?"

Yyventriz gazed at the human female, her four ether-blue eyes narrowing to glowing slits. Deep purple blood seeped from beneath her fingers, staining the midsection of her torn, armored flight suit. Not for the first time, he found herself grateful to have four arms instead of two. She pressed another hand to her wound and gave the woman a measuring look.

She'd been wounded in the crash of her pike in escaping a band of speeder bandits, or rather in her pursuit of them. They had attacked her skiff during a resupply run near an oasis, and she and a few others mounted up to retaliate. Eliskni did not take kindly to harassment from crews of their own kind, let alone crews of foreigners.

Yet here she was now, lying against the shaded wall of a human settlement, hidden from further view by supply containers to ships nearby. She didn't expect to be found before she could bind her wounds, not by a human anyway. Still...

“Depends on the first impression," Yyventriz replied, her voice modulated behind her ether mask. "Humans have not had a grand first impression on me... yet you defy those expectations by approaching me."

She paused and considered the woman again before inclining her head. "If you have aid to render, I will accept it. If you are willing to render it, that is."

The Shard kell narrowed her eyes until they were ether-blue slits. Her first House had been destroyed by the Scorn Barons, her beloved Wolf brethren scattered when she'd been unable to rescue their last Servitor before the Hangedman crushed it. She'd hated the Scorn ever since, more now since the ravaging of House Salvation under the Witnesses. Deathless, mindless things! Husks with empty eyes where souls should be!

But this one - this one had a special place in Yyventriz stasis-filled heart. This one was Araskes, part of the first Scorn Barons who destroyed her House of Wolves! And she was mocking her!

Stasis crystals coated her arms, sharpening her claws as she snarled at the Scorn Trickster Baron before her. "GNAAAAA! I will take each one of them and rend them with their own darkness until there isn't enough even for Dark Ether to recover!"

WIth that, the Kell of Shards lifted her horn-masked head and bellowed into the starry darkness of the Reef. Behind her, other roars echoed as her Shards of Wolves and Ruin came charging to her call. Warriors, captains, and stasis-empowered Aspirants drew near, ready to rend the "offered" scorn to atoms if they could.

1 - //Well, Echo is the main muse of this blog so most everyone else fits that category. Misraaks has been getting a bit more attention on Discord but I really wish people would take up thread musings with Darius. He's such a cool character and I really have so much I want to share about him. Kesivik doesn't get a whole lot of love either, but I understand why - I mean, I haven't been able to give him a whole lot of love -- him or Yyventriz, both of which I still need to finish writing up their profile and timeline stuff! (They have such neat timeline verses, especially Darius and Yyventriz -- they have such rich histories for their long lives!! )

2 - //At this point I think Ashven or Yyventriz. Ashven because he really is more like a background villain character whose badguy effects ripple down through the ages even if you don't know it's him. He's a Setting character not an easily RP'd character. Yyventriz has been, well, difficult in rping too since I've been revamping her. I know that character-children ocs aren't really looked highly upon so I've been kinda trying to separate her from Eramis. (Who, I will tell you, does canonically have kids somewhere in the galaxy with her wife, Athrys. But again, canon-child oc stigma. )

3 - //Well, for this blog, I'd say Echo. She's the guardian that started it all on this blog. Though my oldest active muse is actually a tie between Baribus ( @leerofthevinegaroons) and my boy Bonely ( @pawnshopsouls). But yeah, on this blog Echo-17 is my oldest bab!

4 - //Echo. Echo has the most ships. Namely with @raifer-vayne and @legacyfirst. She had another one but that one ended after some bad drama earlier this year. The only other muses with ships on this blog are Yyventriz & Jorvek ( @aurea-fide ), and a discord ship with Misraaks and Sundog ( @peachtiiime ) which we are still exploring.

5 - //Hhhh I actually don't have an otp for Echo bc she is so open to relationships. My otp for Yyventriz so far has been her and Jor (tho for a while I thought her and Misraaks would be a neat pairing buuut Jor and Yyv were fun). I haven't really thought of notps for them since they haven't had a chance to experience more relationships.

Yyventriz gazed very seriously at the asker and leaned forward slightly. "Pursue me," she with a low, lustrious growl. "I'm no dreg to settle for what's given to me. If you want me, you must want and pursue me. I will not stay where I am not desired and I want to be desired."

Kesivik felt his purple-gray cheeks burn at the question as he ducked his head into the collar of his robes. "I-I do not know. I-I haven't thought of it." He fidgeted, pearly blind eyes blinking rappidly as he thought. "I-I like gifts. Things I can touch, I can wear. Tell me what you like and I see what I can do to get them."

Echo gave a giggle and rocked on her heels. "I think I have to agree with Yyventriz. I like being wanted that way, but I want playfulness too. Fun needs to be part of the game or else there's no game! And why would I be caught dead doing something if I didn't want to enjoy it?"

Whisper blinked, threw her shell back, and laughed. "Me? Fall in love with me? Oh, boy that's a new one! Asking a ghost their love language, what a hoot! Hahahahah!"

She seems to think this whole love thing is a joke too funny not to laugh it.

//Just saying but if Yyventriz had any ability to use the Force, she would absolutely have no qualms about using the Dark Side of the Force because she is, unfortunately, like her mother and Eramis is notorious for her trauma-based grudge against the Traveler.

//Yyv would struggle with the Light side's ways of the force though, bc it would require her to let go of her own hurts and grudges and all the pain she's been using to move herself forward in Sol.

//Echo can be corrupted via Xol (@aurea-fide), the Witness (@aspectofnine), or some other character that can manipulate her insecurities. Yyventriz is prone to vengeance and cruelty (I mean, she was part of House Salvation until Eramis unleashed the Vex on them). Even Darius was led on the revenge path after the massacre of his family in the Bad End timeline. Of all the characters to have had bad stuff happen to them, Ravah, despite being picked up and basically told to be a "bad guy", looked at the first people he met and went "Ah, is this a friend?" and ran with it.

//Even with being a Hive, he is such a noble new light, I wouldn't be surprised if he was accidentally befriended by guardians.

//But yeah, just thinking on the corruptibility of my characters and how funny it is that my own characters are all corruptible except the hive guy. XD

where could someone touch your muse to calm them down? 

For Echo, you'd need to actually hug her. Just force a hug on her until she finally lets out the feeling that's causing her to act out. Usually being held will calm her down - whether it's before or after a good cry really depends on what's upsetting her.

100% does not work if she's mad at you though. ><;;

For Yyventriz, stroking her head works really well. Also being able to just lean against someone (especially leaning her head against someone) really helps. Sometimes she just needs to do the bunting thing and press her head on someone to calm down.
