Is the most outwardly chill about it

Though he does find his gaze drifting and lingering (Aomine got halfway through calling him out once before eating sand)

The first time he justifies it as admiring your swimsuit, every other time is just a whoopsie

He’s not weird about it though, and he tries his best not to stare

Makes sure you put on sunscreen/ cover up if he thinks you need it

Will complement how it looks on you

I did say “most outwardly chill” and I meant it

He may seem cool as a cucumber but if you hug him he will short circuit

He doesn’t get much affection on a normal day and while he is much more mature than his friends, I refuse to believe this boy is not fighting off indecent thoughts every so often

Flustered and can’t hide it

Dude is pink, and not from the sun

His gaze also drifts and lingers but he won’t even give himself a chance to admire you

You cannot convince me Takao has not corrupted him, at least a bit, he can’t look at you without hear Takao teasing him

Like Akashi he looks out for you if you’re prone to sunburn

Midorima isn’t weird about you wearing a bikini, he just makes it weird by actively avoiding looking anywhere but your face

He definitely relaxes throughout the day though

By the time you’re leaving he compliments you, having finally looked somewhere other than your face

He’s fine with whatever you want to do, might even begrudgingly let you bury him

Kise

The most chill, he has sisters so bikinis aren’t something overly suggestive to him

That said it’s you so it does make him a bit flustered

He is also the most obviously protective because as a model he’s very familiar with… lingering gazes, there will always be weirdos

Keeps a shirt on while on the beach, claiming he can’t afford to burn, but it's actually incase you want it for whatever reason

He definitely enjoys the extra contact though, whether that be an arm around your waist or offering to carry you on his back, Kise strikes me as a touchy person

If your swimsuit starts to come loose he’ll offer to fix it for you

Could not give two shits

Kise was chill, Murisakibara just doesn’t care

He compliments the swim suit, and he definitely stares a bit but when he gets caught he apologizes and looks away

Won’t initiate physical contact but doesn’t mind it, feeling your skin brush against his when you hugged him did make him jump a bit though

I don’t really have much to say here because I really don’t think he’d care

Although he will confront anyone making you uncomfortable, his stature is more than enough to make most people back down

Wants to spend the day lounging on the beach, you might be able to convince him to come float with you

Aomine

If it was anyone but Aomine it would be weird

You can call him out on it but he’ll just make a sound of acknowledgement and keep staring, unless you tell him he’s making you uncomfortable

He may be forward and unashamed but he’s not a complete ass

If someone else is making you uncomfortable or just keeps staring he will fight them, though he tries to avoid that

Asked Momoi for one of her towel jackets for you incase you wanted it, he almost regretted it when she started teasing him for being a softy

He compliments you, but it’s stuff like “your boobs look nice”

Will imply he’d like to see you “show off” more often

Also fairly touchy, like Kise, and will offer to help fix your swimsuit if needed

He will also throw you into the water, there is no escaping

Kuroko

Like Akashi he’s outwardly cool and inwardly panicking just a bit

He will try and fight anyone making you uncomfortable but Aomine and the others have to save him

Like Akashi and Midorima will keep an eye out if you’re prone to sunburn

Any physical contact you make with him will spook him just a bit

He’s close with Momoi, and we know she wears bikinis so I think like with Kise they aren’t anything suggestive to him

I don’t have much to say here either because Kuroko doesn’t really wear his heart on his sleeve, though he will linger a bit closer to you throughout the day

Wakes up early: Akashi

All of the cousins and siblings fell asleep in the living room: all of the teams.

Slipped on black ice again and just laid there: murisakibara

Called my friend an elf got punched: aomine , kagami , murisakibara

“Dai, faster! Come on!”

The last few hours have been a blur and frankly, it’s a miracle Daiki’s still alive right now. If it hadn’t been for Taiga -that idiot- and his constant protective ass keeping him from any and all boughts of danger, Daiki sure as hell would’ve been one of those brain dead fuckers by now- or worse-crushed under heaps of rubble, probably alive but dying under slabs of heavy concrete, waiting to suffocate. (Sorry Kise)

Daiki didn’t understand physics and science and shit like that, but he did understand that the world was ending. The zombie apocalypse shook Japan by force, wiping more than half the population and the other half that remained alive got only a breath of relief before the earthquake hit, taking more lives with it.

Kise, Tetsu, Murisakibara, Takao. Not Satsuki. She’d turned, got bitten and Daiki had almost gotten bit himself, killing the piece of shit that had been responsible. If Taiga hadn’t intervened and finished the job…

“Daiki!”

He stumbles now, over his own feet most likely and almost faceplants, Taiga right there to catch his fall; hold him upright…like always. The bluenette’s known for his speed and quick reflexes, a panther on the court, but a turtle in this apocalypse.

He hasn’t been eating, drinking or sleeping lately, no matter how much prompting and pushing from Taiga. The need to live just hasn’t been there. Not since Satsuki, Tetsu, Kise and Murasakibara died. Daiki wishes it had been him. If he could go back and take their places, he would in a heartbeat. No hesitation…almost.

“God dammit, we’re almost there! Fucking work with me!”

Taiga refists his hand in a deathgrip and pulls him through the rubble, the smoke around them thick and heavy.

Daiki can barely make out the broadness of his redhead’s back, the redness of his hair, shaggy and dusted with debris. Taiga leads them through the destruction and the bluenette lets himself be yanked. He probably would’ve fought back and cursed him out before all this. Because he could, cause that’s something the Daiki before the apocalypse would’ve done.

But he’s seen too much…

He’s just glad Taiga hasn’t given up. The redhead’s got enough fight in him for both of them right now. While Daiki shut down, he’d fired up until all he was was nothing but a raging animal, feral in his attempts to keep the bluenette safe, unforgiving in his quest to avenge the friends they lost.

If Daiki hadn’t known him for this long, he might be unsettled by it, seeing the redhead go off like this but he knows it’s only part of his dna; how he copes and if he wasn’t acting so explosive, Daiki would worry for both of them.

“We’re almost there! He said it was around here somewhere!”

They search blindly for what feels like hours before they come across an abandoned library, set to crumble to the ground like jenga blocks. Taiga hesitates, hand tightening around Daiki’s before he pulls them into the wreckage and down to the basement, bodies and books littering every inch of the square space, the smell getting worse as they descend the steps into murky black, the area visible only because of Taiga’s flashlight.

“What the fuck!” Taiga shines his light around wildly even going as far as to let go of Daiki’s hand as he searches for something neither him nor his lover know is for sure down there with them. “Midorima said it was here! He said-shit, found it!”

Daiki gags at the smell of mold-not rotting flesh. Not anymore- and startles as Taiga grabs his hand again and pulls him to the center of the room where something large and metal sits.

They’d lost Midorima to the zombies. Takao too. And even though Daiki hadn’t been that close to the green haired weirdo, it had still taken a huge chunk out of him. He’d always been his teammate…and a friend…and a genius. Especially now. Before Midorima had died, he’d constructed a metal box (Daiki doesn’t know the correct fucking term) built soely for protection from earthquakes and the dead.

He’d only managed to make one and the two run towards it now, the little hope having filled Daiki’s chest, gone as soon as Taiga opens it with a loud clang…

It was a square, coffin sized box with a mattress, sheet and blanket at the bottom, a box of rations at the foot, a pillow and more rations at the head. A perfect hideaway really, built with what Daiki could remember Midorima calling, high strength alloy steel. But it’s not big enough.

Only one of them can fit inside...

Thinking about how Yosen High is canonically a Christian school which is so amusing to me as someone who went to a Christian school from pre-K to 1st grade and then a Catholic school from 2nd grade to 6th grade. I'm just thinking about the customs I used to follow in religious schools and thought I'd use my perspective to list out customs Murasakibara likely also had to follow.

Mandatory religious class once a week

Mandatory mass/church services once a week that replaced a chunk of our morning classes

The entire cafeteria saying a group prayer at lunchtime or picking one person per day to say the prayer for the whole cafeteria before eating

Learning hymns/gospel music (even funnier for Murasakibara because he canonically sucks at singing)

Religiously themed Christmas and Easter concerts and plays for our parents during the winter and spring

Taking communion and confessing sins to the pastor (or priest, in my case) every once in a while

Getting in trouble for using the Lord's name in vain

Encouraged to help out in our community (and according to the KNB wiki Yosen canonically makes their students do annual volunteer work so imagine wandering around Akita and seeing this purple giant sweeping the streets or picking up trash LMAO)

Owns a bible (that probably is filled with scribbles, doodles, and vague annotations)

Those are all the ones I can think of at the top of my head. Luckily, my schools weren't super strict since the churches I attended were non-denominational. And my parents only sent my sister and I to Catholic school because the quality of the curriculum was good, but they refused to let us actually convert to Catholicism. We were really just there for the education, LOL.

Honestly for how much I enjoyed knb when I watched it I do not talk about this anime enough. I'm willing to discuss all of this more.

First of all these characters are so funny and chaotic but they're also such losers and I mean that in the most affectionate way possible. Like I know they're supposed to be cool and intimidating but every time kagami tries to act tough and cool or aomine says "the only one who can beat me is me" or akashi says "i am absolute" or anything emperor like, I just kinda die of a combination of second hand embarrassment and laughter. Like these guys are so funny and they don't even mean to be.

Having said that murisakibara is genuinely one of my favourite characters in any media because he's just so done with everything. He has no fucks to give and he just wants to sleep and eat, and he's such a mood. Ugh I love him. And i ship him with tatsuya because they just seem like they'd be cut together

And aomines introduction actually made him seem so cool. A dick but cool and I kinda loved the whole falling out of love with basketball because everyone gave up and just stopped trying to win thing because even I, as someone who is unfit and doesn't really like sports would get annoyed at playing against people who aren't even trying. So you might lose, someone has to, but if you don't even try you're definitely going to lose whereas if you try, there's a chance, no matter how small that you'd win. And the interesting thing is aomine wants someone to beat him or at least be able to keep up with him. And it's sad because young aomine clearly loved volleyball.

On a similar note, aokaga or aomine x kagami I'd like my main knb ship. I feel like aomine motivates kagami to improve and get better, shows him that you can't always win on your own sometimes you have to rely on your team. Meanwhile kagami is the one that beats and keeps up with aomine, that doesn't just give up no matter how hopeless it seems, who still wants to play against him even if he loses, who doesn't hate him simply for beating him in basketballs. In my head later in life aomine went pro and they met again and became at least friends though of course they still argue. And kuroko keeps in touch with them all and constantly reminds them of the embarrassing things they said and did in high school, middle school and after. Also I like how they're shown as being quite similar in some ways but still being very different people. And ill forever be wondering what it would have been like if kagami had known them in middle school, both as a teammate and an opponent.

Kise is great. I'd say more but honestly I don't think I need to. He's kinda like a golden retriever puppy and is kind of two faced but not really. I like him and I ship him with kasamatsu though they do kinda remind me of oikawa and iwaizumi from haikyuu except they're not childhood friends. They're fun I like them.

Midorima is interesting because I feel like he's supposed to be like the smart need character but he's also really superstitious or at least believes in astrology which is interesting because I feel like more often than not, the smart characters are shown as logical and rational and not really believing that type of thing so I like that it was different here. Also he's friends (though I do ship them) with takao who is like one of the best characters and I love him and he deserves everything good.

I honestly don't have much to say about akashi. The emperor thing is interesting and I like him as a character but I just don't really have an opinion on him beyond that.

Kuroko is probably one of my favourite anime protagonists. He just seems chill and like he's waiting for his friends to sort their issues so.he can make fun of them later. And I always love to see kuroko scaring somebody. Plus he found the dog and dogs are always a win.

Finally kagami. This guy is great. He thinks he's so cool and tough but je is such a dork. He gives me so much second hand embarrassment, more than any other character but he's so funny and I love him so much. He's a loser but he's my loser. I feel like everyone has a character who they love but also love to bully and kagami is mine. I will bully him endlessly but if anyone seriously hates on him I will defend him like my life will end if I don't.

And that's without getting into the actual games. When I watched this anime I'd watch it on a night when my parents went to bed. I'd end up watching like five episodes because they were playing a game and I couldn't just stop in the middle of a match. They're so fun. Ugh I just live it

Edit: I completely forgot Momoi and that is unacceptable. When I tell you this girl made me so anxious every tome she came up I'm that first game. Like, when seirin would do something it would cut to her and she'd be like I know, I thought you might do that, here's how we'll combat that. Like she's so smart and badass while also being girly and feminine and she's so loyal, especially to daiki. Ugh I can't believe I forgot her. I kept feeling like I was forgetting someone but couldn't figure out who. But I do love her I think she's a great character and I'm so glad that she and Riko exist and are more than just love interests for the athletes. Like obviously there's romance hinted at or discussed but that's not all there is to them. They're so badass and I'm so glad they exist in this world. And I love their interactions with each other as well.

Tell me how I've watched the last game movie at least 4 times and only now realized that Akashi was implying they'd all go pro. Like, I freaking love this movie, and yet somehow I missed that completely?!

I guess I just usually see them with their "What if" careers, like Murisakibara being a chef, Midorima being a doctor, ect. And thought that that was how their lives turned out. Or am I crazy and Akashi was just saying shit to say shit?

You and murisaki were arguing hes normally very relaxed and not bothered by much but today was diffrent he was upset because he saw you looking at another guy in a way he didnt like. Out in public he didnt say anything just continued to walk with you beside him. Noticing his demener was off you asked him what was wrong but he replied with nothing he was simply tired is all.

When you got home it was a whole diffrent story he confronted you abt the weird stare you gave the guy and you got all defensive saying how “it wasn't serious and you have nothing to worry about” upset he asked “is there something that im not pleasing you with y/nchi?” a bit saddned you responded with no and apologized if you had made him feel that way. He looked at you with a cold stare and told you “your simple apology isnt enough but ill show you something i can do that no man could ever satisfy you with.” he picked you up while you were a bit nervous not sure what to expect of this sistuation. He threw you onto the bed taking of his shirt and tying his hair into a ponytail. You were much more nervous now then before seeing as he was tying his hair up he never tied it up unless he was about to put effort into something in this case you.

He removed your shirt and threw it aside along with your skirt the way he was taking control over you arroused you a bit nervous and excited for what was to come normally murisakibara was a pillow prince making you do all the work for yours and his orgasm and he rarely if not never took control during sex. his excuse was always “its to much work y/nchi.” He pushed himself into you normally since you were in control you let yourself adjust but since he was in charge he gave you no time to prepare for his large lenght pushing into you with no self control your screams would have been heard from your neighbors if he didnt push your head into the pillow.

in my opinion, kise being able to copy kagami’s moves really was the first realization he’d be able to copy the rest of the GOM. why?

well, it was later revealed that kagami was on par with the GOM, Just like them, but wasn’t there til now.

anyways, let me tell you why the best present is my favorite episode of knb.

Hands grasp a photo, a hint of a smile on the silhouette of a man. holding a photograph of kids he formerly taught.

the episode would start with the kuroko and kagami walking around. talking about his birthday and if he had any plans, kuroko making a melodramatic joke that it’s the only day he’s ever seen.

and kagami, brilliantly says, “man, you have a lot problems, huh?”

then a call comes in from momoi, inviting our favorite shadow to play with his old team for his birthday. kuroko accepts, not realizing kagami was asking him on a date to come to a party .. a birthday party for Kuroko.

he just says the party can be later so kuroko can go and play with his team.

aomine, kise, and momoi meet at the burger place. it’s nice. Seeing aomine with his former team members after the huge rift was created. Where he uttered the words that the only one could beat him is him.

he seems to enjoy his former teammates more. plays basketball with a smile.

they convince Murisakib—- no they don’t. momoi accidentally revealed that she would cook. and with how smart and pretty momoi is.. she can’t cook. not at all.

then we get to midormia .. acting like he wasn’t gonna come, but in reality, he was the holder of a gift .. a gift specifically meant to bring good fortune to an Aquarius. Oha Asa .. he sees the fortune of cancer, and :. Yeah. hes ranked last. and has to get ( make takao ) dried mushrooms.

then takao kidnaps midormia and brings him to the casual game. and then he hands kuroko the gift, saying how it would be bad if someone were to happen on his birthday.

and then the rest realize how midormia always intended on coming. and one thing I like to add is that is how he respects kuroko, as said earlier, he hated seeing someone he respects so much being wasted.

then akashi shows .. momoi gives kuroko his gift .. and wow, there’s Murisakibara popping out from the trees like big foot.

saying how he was around the area anyways. all thanks to akashi arranging a game for his team and muri’s.

some phrases I’d like to just add is:

“Okay— not bad.” — aomine to muri.

“oi, midormia! don’t finish a play with just one shot!” — aomine (?) this shows how everyone is more .. team like. and th at coming from aomine is so.. it brings me so much joy.

THE FISTBUMMMMMP. “this is the last time. then it’s behind us.” my ASS.

and then .. momoi gets to play as Akashi says it’s her turn. she wipes her tears— the tears of joy that fell down. because she missed that time so much, she missed how it was. reminiscing on the memories.

My favorite knb psp story is the tutoring one in the library

It's all the miracles talking casually and they're all so dumb it's almost mind numbing to read it's amazing (the story is literally the miracles figuring out which one of them is the dumbest 💀💀💀 it's aomine I think, or a tie i dont remember)

They all decide it's obviously either kise, aomine or kagami so they split off into groups to each tutor one of them and after an hour they're gonna take a test and worst scores officially the dumbest

Midorima and kagami was legit non stop yelling o my God who decided they should be together

Oh yeah they picked who they wanted and kise immediately was like "I WANT AKASHI CAUSE HES THE BEST AT EVERYTHING" than aomine chose muri and kagami was left with mido

My favorote part is when they're first discussing who would be the dumbest, and when kise was defending himself midorima asked what the US capitol was and kise said New York with FULL confidence it's the funniest shit

The best knb content is just the miracles doing normal dumb shit together
