I made a drawing of the bunsen and beaker animatronic at Disney World, I heard that they said happy birthday to this girl named Rachel, I don't know what Rachel looks like so I just drew a random og muppet i made named Rachel, and Bunsen and Beaker congratulating her birthday.

When you’re a novelist bargaining with five publishing houses, or a filmmaker bargaining with four studios, or a musician bargaining with three labels, or a games author bargaining with two mobile app stores, or an audiobook creator bargaining with one audiobook store, then getting more copyright doesn’t make you any better off.

The idea of protecting creators with individual, bargainable rights reframes us not as workers but as businesses: LLCs with MFAs. Our negotiations with our bosses are B2B: just two artificial persons, each with its own EIN, facing each other down across a board-room table.

But the individual creative worker who bargains with Disney-ABC-Muppets-Pixar-Marvel-Lucasfilm-Fox is not in a situation comparable to, say, Coca-Cola renewing its sponsorship deal for Disneyland.

For an individual worker, the bargain goes like this: “We’ll take everything we can, and give you as little as we can get away with, and maybe we won’t even pay you that.”

Just got back from Epcot

I'm pretty sure most of you (definitely the Muppets fans) have heard that Muppets Labs is at the Odyssey for the Food and wine festival, and I just wanted to show you the drinks I got there!

First of is the Pickle Milkshake, this one was not bad tasted really good!

Second one I had was called the frozen fusion, it end up being my favorite.

But, Y A Y, I'm just really really glad Disney added Muppets Labs to Epcot again (even though we have Muppets Mobile Labs)

Definitely recommend going to the food and wine festival!

I've experimented more with negative space and colour gradients and I'm really proud of this one!

hey i'm doing research for something, what are your top 6, maybe 7 animatronics?

6: Mitzi Mozzarella, Rock-Afire explosion (all versions). This ones simple, she's just wonderful i love her very much. never done anything wrong in her life. technology wise she's not great (a little slow, pretty jittery) but that doesn't matter because i like her design 

5: Lola Leopard, Circus Playhouse band. Not a very popular one, probably because she's very rare, but i do really enjoy her. It seems as i most of their locations has pretty low pressure so she's almost always quite slow in any footage we have of her, but she's an interesting concept and i also just really enjoy the circus playboys band 

4: Figment, Journey into Imagination. What is there left to even say about figment? I don't like him as much as others, but i still admire him <3.

3: Rockstar Chuck, Chuck e’ Cheese. Before you ask, i haven't actually been to a chuck e. cheese location with him existing/working, so this is mainly through osmosis. Despite that, i really enjoy this. I feel like the chuck e. cheese brand didn't do a half bad job with trying to keep up with the rapidly changing attitude around animatronics, and this shows it. He looks cute and he moves smoothly, not to fast or slow. I really like em’

2: Muppets Mobile Lab, Disney Parks (all versions). Unlike most of the options on this list, this one is mainly for its technical prowess. The fact that it is a fully functional animatronic that is able to move around freely is truly astounding, in my opinion. Not only that, but it's also fun! It's really cool to see some official muppet content. (that one droid that did some test runs around tomorrowland could also probably go here but 1. he never appeared again and 2. i don't care)

1. Commander Buzzy, Cranium Command. What do i even say? He's my favorite animatronic no questions asked.
