" Allah swt created us, He brought us into existence and He put us onto this earth in order to test us. The reason why we are here at this moment is to pass the test that Allah swt has decided to put us through by the mere fact that He created us. And we need to be conscious of this at every moment of our lives, every minute is a test from Allah swt, we need to pass it and we need to protect ourselves from failure. And Allah swt warns us and He reminds us and He continues to remind us. He asks us to seek assistance through bearing Sabr, which means being patient, practicing restraint, being forbearant, persevering, and so on.
You are what you eat, they say. But don’t forget it’s not just about the food that you consume. What you put inside your body physically, spiritually and emotionally matters as well. Don’t be heedless.
Many times in life, we fail to progress because we're stuck in the past. And this is not only true when it comes to our own faults and our own sins. But even with others.
At times it is in the best of your interests to let go to something that looks like you cannot let it go. But in order to progress, you MUST let it go.
Satan does not want you to repent at all. But if he can’t do that, his next best plan is to delay your repentance. He tries to tell you that it will be easier later on. That’s a lie. The longer things go on, the harder it becomes to repent. Don’t wait. Do it today.
Nothing that happens in your life is by accident. The Almighty plans everything to the finest detail. There is a reason behind every incident. Sooner or later, the reason will become apparent. Spend time understanding His plan. You'll feel a lot better about your life.
“had I not poured my heart out to Allah (swt), I wouldn’t have tasted the sweetness of his mercy. Trust me, when I say this — nothing can help you out of despair, nothing can replace the emptiness in your heart but the closeness to Him. He has a plan for you and you must put your trust in Him. I don’t mean that you would be okay overnight — but your heart will be at ease for eternity, only if you take a step.” by memoirsofbilal (via Instagram)
— Take one step towards me, I will take ten steps towards you. Walk towards me, I will run towards you. (Hadith Qudsi)
This story melts my heart. A car mechanic, who wasn’t able to have a change of clothing for Salah brought his own prayer mat (Sajadah) to the masjid so as not to stain the carpet! #subhanallah May the Almighty keep him firm in faith and to always read Salah on time!
