Bee Keeper Mountain

Mountain has several traditional, if customized, beehives out on the ministry grounds but an indoor hive for his favorite bee folk, that he built with Aether, as well. He loves watching them and being able to hear the buzzing when he takes a midday nap. It's like white noise to him.

He also has a freeloader of a roommate. No, not a ghoul. A blue carpenter bee that lives in a hole in his antlers. Mountain calls him Bee-casso.

Mountain obviously makes his own honey. Aside from the regular ones, he's working on perfecting a kind with very special properties for ghoul illnesses, made from plants he crossbred and cultivated himself. Rumor has it they're stemming from seeds from the pit. Mountain never confirms or denies those rumors.

When it's his turn to make breakfast or snacks, he serves honeycombs with it. (He snacks on them while harvesting them, too.)

The earth ghoul makes sure his bees have a diverse flower buffet to choose from by making little seed balls and handing them out. He personalizes them too, based on seasons and the being they are intended for. When he sees a certain patch growing, he'll know who "lost" their little balls there. Swiss and Aether take it as the perfect opportunity to make ball jokes. To no one's surprise.

Mountain, ever the protector of nature, is also the one that insists on gently resettling Hymenoptera colonies that built their home in hidden alcoves throughout the ministry grounds, such as the kitchens and the sibling dining hall. All are done by hand to ensure none of the little critters get injured.

Once, a group of siblings poisoned a wasp nest, and Mountain was so upset that he didn't talk for a week. The disappearance of the responsible siblings is deemed just a simple coincidence.

Just thinking about Copia accidentally summoning a really powerful demon/ghoul and everyone is surprised because the clumsy copia actually dimming a ghoul and a really powerful one at that!? And the ghoul (reader) just falls on love with staying on earth. It has been decades since he last was summoned, and earth change significantly. Now he can spend time with thr other ghouls, so are different from him. He kinda tests them like cats

Ok but I love this sm this is gonna be a strictly platonic fic comfort and a lil angst and perhaps the reader is disabled. (Not perhaps the reader is disabled)

Everyone was surprised when you were summoned, you were Atleast 1000 years old and Copia of all the emeritus brothers had summoned you. Sister imperator almost refused to believe it. it's not like anyone doubted Copia, but he was still fresh meat in the ministries eyes. They thought he was still finding his footing when in reality he'd been papa for years.

And yet here you were, an ancient powerful ghoul sitting in the middle of a summoning circle. And what was more surprising was how fascinated you were with everything. It's like you had never been summoned before with how you explored everything so fervently.

But that didn't mean there weren't hiccups, for one your new body was not used to being topside. Breathing was a weird sensation and walking was so much more difficult, often finding both painful or uncomfortable. Eventually you got used to breathing but walking never got easier, and so as a gift your first week topside the ghouls got you forearm crutches so you could finally walk comfortably.

With all of that sorted you found yourself in all sorts of places, you uncovered the library first and quickly became disinterested as siblings of sin started to stare. The next place you ended up in was Mountain's garden, mountain was planting something and you couldn't help but admire his dedication to the plants.

At some point you were sitting on a wooden bench sunlight streaming down on you. Mountain was working on the garden while you watched, getting used to being outside the ministry. Soon you grew bored and decided to look around the ministry some more.

The ministry was mostly quiet, a black mass was being held so you were free to travel around without the lingering eyes of siblings who couldn't mind their business constantly being on you. Soon you found yourself almost yearning to go into black mass without the unwanted eyes of all those that mystified you. And yet you couldn't.

Quickly you resorted to be with your fellow ghouls, walking into the den you set yourself down on the couch putting your crutches down under the wooden coffee table. Dew and aether were flirting about whatever and cumulus was braiding sunshines hair. Mountain was still gardening and swiss was with rain doing things you didn't care to think about.

A calm set over you as you flipped through TV programs still excited that you finally learned how to work the remote thanks to rain and dews help. Softly dew leans on your shoulder after aether gets up to check on whatever was going to be had for dinner. Dew commenting on the shitty medical drama that you put on, before paying attention to your more quiet demeanor.

"so what's up with you. You're never not asking some bullshit questions." Dew throws out, his tone was softer than his words obviously trying to convey that he was willing to listen. You respond your voice barely above a whisper, "some of the siblings were staring at me when I was wandering around, it felt weird." With that dew rolls his eyes "those morons just couldn't handle seeing someone worth their time." You knew he meant it reassuringly but you still felt odd.

Sunshine looked up at you and agreed with dew before cumulus chimed in as well. Aether walked in not a minute later "dinners gonna be late, again." He says before sitting next to dew again leaning over to give him a kiss on his temple before also commenting on your poor choice of TV. Yet no one changed the channel, swiss walks in he's shirtless only in boxers and pair of sweatpants that are just loose enough to slip down showing off the band of his boxers. Aether and swiss quickly launch into a conversation about what you couldn't guess and yet the idle chatter was soothing.

With the ghouls you felt confident and comfortable, and Copia was the only human who never started at you in a way that felt odd. At some point Copia walks in his papal makeup wiped off but still had a faint presence through smears around his hairline and ears. Copia sat next to you dew on the other side still leaning on you quietly, you smile and raise your hand at Copia as an awkward greeting and he returns with his own awkward one. It's not like you didn't like Copia far from it, it's just weird when he feels like your boss when he really isn't. Sister imperator is.

Quickly though you find yourself leaning on Copia, worn out from a day of wandering and worrying. Copia wraps his arm around you his thumb rubbing softly against your shoulder, the motion more comforting then he realized. Slowly you start to purr your tail wagging softly as you lean into Copia further, unintentionally holding onto him as you started to fall asleep. Soon you're asleep on Copia as the rest of the ghouls chatter and go on with their night all of them at some point giving you a small peck on the forehead or temple or the top of your head and wishing you sweet dreams.

Random Mountain hc 1/?

Do you ever think the earth ghoul gets tired of always being described as ‘big’? 

People always steal his clothes. People shy away from him when they see him. He rarely goes without some glamour because he’s even taller/monstrous in his infernal form (which causes glamour sickness/exhaustion). He always has to be on the outside of cuddle piles/the big spoon/the base that everyone curls against but not around. He also has to top. He’s also often called to do a lot of the heavy lifting on tours/around the Abbey - and of course that doesn’t help his joints. 

Still, he doesn’t complain. He just wants the pack to be happy... he’ll do whatever he can to feel accepted when he himself feels an imposter. 

But its draining. Very draining. 

TL:DR I think Mountain would benefit from being babygirl.

quick personal update -- i've been in chinaaaa for the past few weeks! plus a few days of layover in tokyo, so i got to visit japan for the first time! good experiences good food all around \(^_^)/

now that i'm officially back, i can share some of the soulsilver i've been stockpiling since march..... and since i'm too lazy to make multiple posts, you guys get the full dump. warning! there are a few!
