I had been wondering what the show was going for with the writing - but I was focused on what 'Starfund' (or Stanfund) was all about - but Vi's comment made me remember I had noticed the weird, random full stop after 'go' - so I should have read the sentence grammatically:

Friends don't let friends go.

The rest of the writing doesn't matter really.

FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS GO.

Is that a comment on the friend group - they'll stay together by the end? Or maybe on Boston wanting to go to NYC? Or maybe Sand trying to stop Ray get in the car whilst drunk/on drugs? Maybe it's referring to something else we haven't come across yet...

But it's interesting. Incheresting. I see you, Jojo. I see you adding in full stops and revealing my bias thinking it was an error at first. I won't make that mistake again (narrator: yes, she probably will, but she'll try not to and that's the main thing).
