Here's another of my favorite OC's to date, Machiavelli "Machi" Myoga. He's a young mercenary-assassin who is not affiliated with any known pack.

After the death of his mother, a young Machi was taken in by a group of cutthroat bandits led by his estranged father, Oxbow 1M. His upbringing was perilous, turning the confused, gullible young creature into a rugged survivalist. The male is stubborn and reluctant to involve himself with other wolves' problems- unless there is adequate payment for his services.

Despite his callous nature, Machi is devoted to a small blue teddy bear he discovered as a pup, aptly named "Blue-Bear". He is currently mated to Cheyenne (owned by myself) and has plans to move to Lost River.

your older sister/eldest daughter syndrome is very evident around him

he probably doesn't pick up on it but everyone else sees how fiercely protective you are over him

you have a soft spot for children and Gon is literally the sweetest ever so you can't help but want to keep him safe

before the hunter exams, the only role models Gon has ever had in his live have been maternal figures (Mito and his grandma)

you end up becoming another one

which may also be part of the reason he is so respectful and kind

he's ok with your motherly nature mainly because he's very used to it and he can understand where you're coming from

he cares for you as if you guys were blood related

when he went cray in chimera ant arc you were the first person Killua and Leorio thought to call

yk because of your healing ability

you healed him the best you could before Alluka showed up

and scolded him immediately after he recovered

Killua Zoldyck

he likes someone with Toph's rebellious personality but you?

you're a total wet blanket...

your such a stickler, always trying to stop him when he's feeling mischievous

you remind him of how things were back at his estate...

you are not his mother stop acting like it

but whenever you protect him from getting seriously hurt or heal him he's reminded you have good intentions

he knows you're not trying to be manipulative and controlling but god pls loosen up

despite how distant he might present himself he can't help but grow a little emotionally attached to you

he's never had a healthy relationship with his mom...

you are the only normal motherly figure in his life

he acts like he can't stand how you fuss over him but in reality he cares for you deeply and kind of likes that you feel the need to be protective over him

Illumi Zoldyck

unlike his brother, he likes you a lot more than if you were to have Toph's personality

because you remind him of his mother

he doesn't mind your protective nature as long as you don't get in the way

your 'blood bending' technique is of great interest to him..

you are able to use it on normal days and don't have to wait for a full moon because this is my fanfic and I said so

it just happens to be at it's strongest on full moons

he probs starts keeping track of the moon cycles just to take you on missions and see you in action

with the blood bending technique you could literally stop any enemy

a very OP ability indeed....

which is why he keeps you around

you're strong and have a pretty normal personality so there's really no reason for him to dislike you

The Phantom Troupe

it's pretty 50/50 with them

and by that I mean some of them don't mind your motherly personality while others think it's annoying...

mainly Phinks and Feitan; they feel you're too bossy

but the entire troupe can agree that your nen is impressive

1) they have a healer now and 2) your blood-bending is some sort of secret weapon

you get along well with Nobunaga, bonding over your shared soft spot for children

Chrollo probs personally recruited you for your abilities seeing as he couldn't really steal them..

Machi likes having you around because now she has to stitch people up less often

when Kalluto joins, he becomes the one you're most protective over

the younger members see you as an older sibling figure

aka Shizuku(18) Kalluto(12) and Kortopi(he has no canon age as far as I know but I like to imagine he is a child rather than a small adult...)

yandere phantom troupe- pain

Lenient yanderes who rarely use punishments- chrollo, pakunoda, machi, hisoka 

Pakunoda- 

Pakunoda is the first to come to mind. She’d hate to hurt you, and because of that, she leans towards rewards for good behavior instead of punishments for bad behavior. Even if she had to hurt you, she makes a point to be quick about it- pain sharp, but it fades quickly, barely a mark on you. 

Chrollo- 

Chrollo is lenient with you unless you fight back too much. He understands screaming and crying when you discover you can never go home. He understands not being able to keep down food for the first week you spend with him. He understands when you cower from him- after all, this must be frightening for you. But things like trying to escape, trying to hurt yourself, trying to hurt him (you don't even come close, but he hates it all the same) can't be tolerated. To start, it’s not so bad. The first time you try to escape, he doesn't even break bones. 

Machi- 

Machi doesn't really have too many rules for you in the first place; don't try to escape, don't fight back, but other than that, she mostly lets you live inside your shared home however you’d like. In fact, as opposed to the others who want to occupy every second of your time, machi prefers you have solo hobbies, like reading, writing, drawing… sewing. If you do something she doesn't like, the verbal reprimand is brutal. 

Hisoka- 

Hisoka is an odd one, because he’s not opposed to hurting you, but he doesn't use physical punishments regardless. He likes the sense of independence and self that you have, and he tries to avoid breaking it down. He doesn't want to break you down into his own image like a lot of the others, because he wants to keep your mind mostly intact. In fact, he almost tries to encourage you to act out. How lenient is he really? And is he really so careless that he left the front door unlocked? 

Yanderes that use extreme punishments- feitan, illumi 

Illumi- 

Illumi uses punishments to keep you in line, he has strict rules for you to follow, from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed. Most of them aren't too hard to follow- just play along with his domestic fantasy and you’ll be ok. It’s humiliating, and it’s demeaning, but if you play the part well enough, he won't have to hurt you. The problem is these rules aren't really spelled out for you? Wasn't accepting tea from your new mother in law a good thing? Broken jaw. Wasn't the friendly wave to your new brother in law playing into the fantasy illumi had created? Broken hand. 

Feitan- 

Feitan is particularly mixed up. He hates having feelings for you at all, and he deliberately takes it out on you. Afterall, it’s your fault he feels like this. Your’e sleeping in bed, curled up in the blankets, looking so cute he can hardly breathe- you feel his boot connect with your ribs, and you can't even cry out before he’s pulling you out of bed. You’re in the basement, watching him torture a man strapped down to the table, and your eyes meet fetian’s for just a moment- he reminds you that he’s not above gouging out both those pretty eyes of yours. He’s duel edged, because if you’re bad, then you're subjected to punishments. But if you're good, it makes him feel helpless, and you have to pay for that.

Ooh, this is interesting, thank you for the ask! I think I'll just pick and choose the characters, I'll go with Pakunoda, Chrollo, Uvogin, Machi, Feitan for this one! Also the relationship will be romantic for this too ^^

Pakunoda, Chrollo, Uvogin, Machi, Feitan with an s/o that joined the troupe to support their younger sibling

Pakunoda

At first she was a little surprised since it wasn't like most of the troupe cared about money. However, I feel like out of the troupe she's the one that will understand you the most because she also tends to be someone that cares for others almost like a mother

She won't judge you at all, and if other members of the troupe have something to say about your situation she won't hesitate to talk back to them. She won't throw insults, but she'll definitely give them a stern reminder that the troupe is meant to be open to anyone and everyone that can make it

If you ever happen to show her your younger sibling, Pakunoda will probably be your sibling's favorite person in no time. She tends to be super caring and chill at the same time, so I doubt kids will hate her haha

Overall she doesn't mind your reason for joining since joining the troupe alone makes you above average in skills and it means you were more or less accepted by Chrollo's standards. If you happen to be looking for a place to stay however, she'll definitely say you should move to Meteor City where she's from

Chrollo

He won't judge you, he's extremely open-minded and has no issue with you wanting to look after your younger sibling. He might have some questions as to why exactly the troupe was your choice though since it's such a dangerous team

I doubt other members of the troupe will talk badly about you in front of him, but in the rare case it happens he doesn't stop them with words but rather gives them a cold stare. It's enough to shut them up before Chrollo talks to them about it in private

If you need a helping hand, I feel like he would be super happy to help! Though they don't look like it, I feel like all members of the troupe have a soft spot for kids. Chrollo's super chill around your sibling too, they might ask when you two are getting married haha

Similar to Pakunoda, he may offer you and your sibling to come back to Meteor City if you two aren't already living there.

Uvogin

He might ask you why you then decided the troupe would be where you wanted to stay when you could've been doing something else like a job in regular society or a hunter, since you clearly have the skills to become one. However, after you give your explanation, he'll be like "yeah I'm actually really happy you're part of the team, means I get to see you more often!"

He's the type to throw fists when other members of the troupe look at you disapprovingly. Most troupe members won't care tbh, but in the case that they say anything he'll have no trouble jumping on them :/

The cool uncle that your younger sibling always wanted! He was probably the one that asked if you wanted him to help you out at home. If you really need any extra help outside of troupe antics, he'll be there!

He doesn't really care about money but at the same time he does understand that you need to help out your sibling. He'll do what he can to support you, but most importantly he won't judge you for your reasons of joining the troupe

Machi

She honestly didn't really mind when you revealed your reason for joining the troupe. "As long as you aren't some crazy clown trying to fight Chrollo you're good," she might say, giving you a friendly punch on the shoulder

She isn't really like a mom-friend, but there have been times where she felt like an elder sister to some of the troupe. Because of this, she's actually just as protective of you and of your sibling as well. She's super caring, it's honestly really nice!

Machi won't fight against other troupe members calling you out or looking at you disapprovingly, but she will definitely give them a stare and maybe throw a mean insult in their direction. The only person she won't do that to would be Chrollo, but honestly the leader probably doesn't mind your situation at all

She asked if you wanted to move to Meteor City if you weren't already there right after you said you needed to take care of your younger sibling. I feel like she thinks it's the safest place since she grew up there, but in the end she's open to anything that you want and will be there to help you out

Feitan

Out of these troupe members he was probably the only one that thought it was a little weird at first. You were scared he would tell you it wasn't right for you to join the troupe, but he was more confused rather than upset at your situation.

However, he hides that he thinks it's admirable you're throwing your life at risk for family. It's sort of like what he saw in Meteor City, and perhaps what the troupe is doing to support the children back where he's from. He has a soft spot for kids, he won't show it though

He probably said he didn't want to help you out when you were with your younger sibling, but when he showed up at your door you knew he was probably lying about hating kids. He turns out to be really chill, sometimes even cute in your eyes. If you tease him about it he might get a little upset though haha

He stands up for you in the case any troupe member thinks what you're doing is wrong. They likely won't, but if it happens he has no issue pulling out a weapon and throwing it in their direction. He cares a lot about you, and now that he knows there's someone you want to protect, he'll do his best to help you out

Some yummy HxH headcanons that are mostly Hisoillu

Hisoka is a pretty good cook and cooks for Illumi whenever he comes over however, when he’s alone the kitchen isn’t even touched and he just orders takeout.

Illumi is no longer allowed in the kitchen because he will burn water.

Hisoka is not getting his deposit back as he has painted all his walls pink, replaced all the doorknobs with heart shaped ones, stained the bathroom red with hair dye and most definitely messed up the ceiling above his bed by throwing cards at it when he’s bored.

Hisoka is a maximalist so his apartment is very cluttered it’s clean but there’s stuff everywhere, Illumi was appalled the first time he came over.

Illumi barely has anything in his room other than books but he does have a rather large collection of moths and beetles that he pinned.

Hisoka buys most of Illumi’s clothes, terrifying Kikyo.

Illumi has to set aside 20 percent of his assassin money to bribe Milluki and Kalluto, unfortunately when mother’s precious baby Kalluto is involved there’s only so much threatening he can do.

Silva has forbidden any of the Zoldycks from smoking however that doesn’t prevent Kikyo for running off into the forest, only to be caught by one of her children.

Kalluto is a clean freak and everything in his room has a place.

Milluki didn’t mind watching Kalluto when he was a toddler because he was quiet and didn’t pitch fits however he found it amusing that Illumi looked like a tried mom most of the time with Killua and Alluka both running about.

The Zoldyck children never really interact during the daytime however like normal siblings they find each other in the kitchen at 3 am making cereal and eventually end up in Milluki’s room playing Mario cart.

Illumi never told Kalluto and Milluki that he was married to Hisoka but Kalluto found to from the phantom troupe in ways he definitely didn’t want to, he swiftly told Milluki and they got enough pizza to send a horse into a coma.

Illumi wakes up really early but if he could he’d sleep all day.

During summer Illumi avoids the sun like the plague and Hisoka doesn’t put on nearly enough clothes.

Hisoka has a pile of magazines just on the floor next to his couch.

Illumi gets cat called a lot and Hisoka finds it hilarious.

Machi and Illumi dislike each other and Kalluto is stuck in the middle of their feud.

Killua and Gon like to sit in fields together and listen to music.

After Killua and Gon separated, Killua and Alluka met up with Bisky so Alluka could learn the basics of nen. Bisky yelled at Killua because he didn’t know how to do Alluka’s hair and she showed him how to braid it.

Since Kalluto is around the phantom troupe so much he’s started talking like them and Illumi constantly has to remind him not to use foul language.

Everyone talks to Kalluto about their problems because they think he won’t tell.

Illumi doesn’t know slang and so he is constantly confused when speaking to Milluki, he has to text Hisoka for answers who will gladly jump at the chance of causing drama.

Kurapika constantly gets emails from Hisoka about random stuff.

When Killua found out Hisoka and Illumi were married he was eating dinner with Gon and he immediately curled up into a ball and kept repeating “Im related to a clown…”

Gon gets grasshoppers and collects them in jars, he gets very sad when Mito tells him they are not allowed in the house.

Leorio makes a lot of gay jokes.

Hisoka really dislikes Kikyo.

When Gon and Killua have sleep overs, they usually get tangled in blankets and fall off the bed.

Whenever Gon does something stupid Killua tells him he’s “Engaging in fatherless behavior”

Chrollo stole an ambulance and named it the spider-mobile.

Chrollo drives the spider-mobile and every time they see one of those crosses for people who’ve gotten into an accident on the road he pulls over and prays for them.

Phinks bet Kalluto that he couldn’t eat a spoon of hot sauce with a straight face and lost 50 Jenny and his dignity.

Fruits Basket Queer Headcanons

The more I watch and read Fruits Basket, the more I get the sense that no one is straight here. Well... almost no one. So, in honor of pride month, here are my queer headcanons for the cast of Fruits Basket!

(Disclaimer that these are my own personal headcanons, obviously nothing official, etc... I try to draw on evidence from the text, but I'll admit I'm occasionally going purely off vibe. Also, I'm bi and genderfluid, so that's the lens I'm bringing to this. I'd love to hear your headcanons, especially if they differ from mine! Enjoy!)

Genderfluid and/or genderqueer: Ayame and Ritsu

I (probably somewhat controversially) think a lot of the gender non-conformity among Fruits Basket characters is just that: gender non-conformity. Momiji is one example; he dresses in girls' clothing (though not "like a girl") until his growth spurt, but it seems important to him to be seen as a man from at least that point forward.

Ritsu is someone whose gender identity and/or nonconformity really should've been explored more in the manga - as written, it feels like Ritsu's exploration of gender was viewed as something he'd grow out of, rather than a search for understanding himself. He doesn't really seem to mind being identified as either male or female, though he obviously feels a lot of shame about his comfort with wearing women's clothes (though no one around him when we meet him really seems to mind, which is nice-- I also appreciate that Ritsu was shown to have friends who adore him outside of the Sohmas). Anyway, the fact that he seems okay with being referred to as both a man and a woman is the entire basis for this headcanon.

Ritsu also idolizes Ayame, and I think part of this stems from Ayame's own security in his non-traditional gender presentation. We don't really get a lot of Ayame's thoughts on gender, despite his line of work, but he strikes me as the sort of person who would enjoy playing with his own gender presentation and would be more than open to exploring his gender identity (and probably has!). I think Ayame would lean more toward having an expansive view of masculinity rather than dressing more feminine when he feels more feminine, but I also think he would embrace the different ways people might perceive his gender.

Transgender Woman: Akito Sohma

This I think is quite clear in canon. Akito was assigned male at birth, then transitioned to female.

What makes it hard for some people to see Akito as trans is that the reason she was assigned male at birth was not the typical reason people are assigned male at birth in our world (it was her mother's demand, rather than a guess based on the shape of her genitals), but I don't think that makes her any less trans.

Under the Ace and/or Aro Umbrellas

This umbrella is a little tricky for several of these characters, because they've been forbidden from dating, or had very controlling parents, or thought they'd only hurt anyone they loved, so they haven't necessarily had time to figure out whether they've just repressed that part of themselves or they just don't experience attraction at all/without a strong emotional connection first. (Not everyone needs time to figure that out, though!) But anyway, here's who I think would eventually find themselves under at least one of these umbrellas!

Asexual/Aromantic: Kazuma

I love the tidbit that Kazuma tried dating women, but talked so much about Kyo that he never got a second date. I like the interpretation of him as a gay man, but to me, he reads as asexual/aromantic. Dating just doesn't even seem to be on his radar!

Demisexual/Demiromantic: Kyo, Shigure, Machi

A lot of the fandom sees Kyo as demi, and I'm totally here for that interpretation of him. He generally seems annoyed by or frightened of girls who aren't Tohru (frightened either when there's a risk of transforming, or when Kagura is involved). Also, it's CUTE that Kyo takes after his dad (Kazuma) in this way.

At first blush, it seems very unlikely Shigure is under the ace umbrella, but I couldn't stop thinking about his brief relationship with Mayu. He's the one who suggested they date, yet he seemed completely disinterested in her. He did sleep with Ren, but that was only for revenge and because he imagined Akito would look like her if she'd been allowed to grow up as a woman. I genuinely believe all his "high school girls" ickiness was an act, much like most of his personality.

It doesn't seem like Machi can totally tell if/when she likes something (or someone!). This makes me wonder if she's just never had feelings for anyone before Yuki.

Demiromantic: Rin, Hiro

Rin seems open to sexual relations with people other than Haru, but I genuinely can't see her having romantic feelings for anyone other than him. I see Hiro similarly with respect to Kisa. I think, if they ever split, it would take an extremely long time for him to even be open to falling for someone else.

Under the Bi/Pan+ Umbrella

So, I'm not making a distinction between these two (and other orientations that fall under the same umbrella, like poly- or omnisexual) because that seems like a very personal, internal conversation. I know some people make a distinction between the way bi and pan people experience attraction, but some don't, and that feels too prescriptivist for my purposes here. So, these are characters who I think experience attraction to multiple genders!

Tohru obviously falls for Kyo, but she also thinks Akito is cute, she thinks Rin is "shapely" and "beautiful" (her words!), and she goes along with it when Saki talks about them getting married.

Yuki ends up with Machi (and I love them together!) but I think Kyo was his first crush. His arc is also very relatable for a lot of queer folks (myself included!). And he's a disaster. Long live bisexual disaster Yuki Sohma!

Shigure is tricky, because the flirtation between him and Ayame could just be a joke, but I personally think it's a joke that arose out of some fun nights spent together...

Akito obviously likes men, but she also flirts with Tohru when they first meet.

Saki talks about marrying both Tohru and Kazuma. She's probably joking about Kazuma, but she's generally a very literal person, so I don't think she's joking about Tohru. She also marries a foreigner canonically, and that foreigner is probably a man.

Momiji talks about finding an amazing sweetheart-- not an amazing wife or girlfriend!!-- one day. I think he was being very intentional in not specifying his future partner's gender.

Hatori is the one I feel least sure of, but my headcanon is that he gets so annoyed and embarrassed by Shigure and Ayame because he doesn't want anyone to know he was totally part of at least a few of those trysts...

Mutsuki and Hajime are definitely together, right? And it seems like the fandom mostly sees Mutsuki as bi, which... yeah, that tracks.

Hatsuharu's first love was Yuki, and his last love was Rin.

Kakeru has a girlfriend, but for some reason, I have it in my head that he always refers to Kyo as Yuki's "hot cousin"? Did I just imagine that? Anyway... even if I did make that up, I think his backstory is a great analogy for the experience of coming out. He was trying to fit in a box and decided he was done with it. Pure chaotic bi energy.

For Ayame, see Shigure and Hatori above. (Also, “I am a bottom ALL THE WAY!!!”)

Gay and Lesbian

Hiroshi has always struck me as gay. I can't really explain it. I usually have absolutely awful gaydar, so it's odd that he gives me such clear gay vibes. I wrote him as gay in my longfic, Bloom Within Us, and I'll probably always write him as gay.

President Takei obviously has a crush on Yuki. We don't really see him show interest in anyone else (partially because he's such a minor character). He also seems to still be a bachelor in Another, which could be because he can't legally marry yet...

My headcanon that Kunimitsu is gay kind of popped up as I was writing Bloom Within Us. There's no particular reason, and he doesn't give me strong gay vibes or anything.

Hajime and Mutsuki are definitely a couple! (Right?!) And it seems like most of the fandom sees Hajime as gay which... yeah, I can get behind that.

Akimoto (Arisa's senpai from her gang) is another character who gives me such strong vibes that I thought it was canon that she was a lesbian. Whoops. Anyway, I headcanon that Akimoto is gay, and referenced that in one of my oneshots.

Controversial omission: Arisa Uotani. She says she likes Kureno because he reminds her of Tohru, but she doesn't like Tohru? Yes, she gives me major queer vibes but this to me points to her being straight. Also, based on the way she reacts to her friends developing crushes or falling in love (and the way they react to her falling in love), I don't think there's anything between her and Saki or her and Tohru (as much as I love fics that pair her with Saki!). I also think not every relationship with lots of physical affection and strong feelings of love has to be romantic.

Aran Ryan Headcanons

Aran Ryan doesn’t think he’s any good with magic and sees himself as just particularly lucky. However, he is actually unconsciously using magic to subtly alter reality around him to his favor. He just believes he has the “Luck of the Irish” on his side. As such, Aran is extremely superstitious since he views the effects of his magic as just luck. 

If he says to you “good luck”, he actually wants you to fail and is trying to jinx you. “Break a leg” is how he actually wishes luck.

Even if he can get up earlier, Aran will always try to get up at the count of seven.

When he punches with loaded gloves, he does his best to not turn the horseshoes upside down when possible.

Every little thing can be an omen to him. Glass Joe was KO’d during round two rather than round one? Today’s his lucky day! A cloud in the sky is shaped weirdly? Aran needs to be careful of his surroundings. To other people, what signals good and bad luck seem completely arbitrary.

Aran was born and raised by the sea, with his father being a fisherman and his mother a fishwife. He even worked on the docks ever since he was a lil’ lad. 

He knows his way around knots and even snuck a monkey’s fist into his flail among other things.

While Aran's built quite some strength from working at the docks, his little sister built quite the silver tongue from helping her mother at the fish market. She could cheat the devil himself using just her words. Ever the swindler, that clever lil' lass.

He tends to give nicknames to people he likes. For example, Soda is “Pops”. Macho Man is “Machie”. Sandman is “Sandy”, but that’s prevalent among other boxers too. Though, Aran also uses nicknames just to annoy people. Von Kaiser is especially incensed by “Ol’ Geezer”.

He may be woefully below weight class compared to the other World Circuit boxers, but Aran makes up for it with his excellent fight IQ. Despite his external wild and spastic behavior, he is internally quite analytical when it comes to combat. Aran’s just beaten out in the raw power department.

Aran’s hands are constantly wrapped in bandages due to his penchant for punching with metal horseshoes. He’s gotten better at avoiding bruised and broken knuckles, but it still happens with how erratically he fights. The other boxers don’t remember what Aran’s palms look like.

When boxing, he wraps his hands with tape in addition to bandages to cushion his hands. Now gotta add improper hand wrapping to the infractions list.

The reason why Aran is still in the WVBA despite being a blatant and frequent cheater is because viewership skyrockets when his matches are broadcasted. Most people want to see him get his comeuppance, so they tune in. A small portion of the audience watches to see what kind of new tricks he will pull. Aran Ryan is the heel and he knows it, and he doesn’t care. He’s good at entertaining the crowd and giving them a villain they love to hate.

Wii Aran and SPO Aran are the same person to me. He was a rule-abiding boxer back in the SPO days, but quickly got bored of fighting fairly when all his competitors were cheating with their unique gimmicks. So, Aran gave cheating a try one day and never went back. He was already good at boxing, as such it became wayyyyy more fun to think of new ways to cheat and see how much the WVBA will tolerate.

This has also made him much more popular (or infamous) in the eyes of the audience. No one really noticed him before.

He doesn’t even see his fair-fighting past self and cheating current self as the same person anymore. He gets visibly annoyed when people bring up “that bloke from Branch B”. That Aran was dead the moment he threw his first punch with loaded gloves.

He made his progress up the ranks and into the World Circuit when he still fought fairly. Ever since he started cheating, Aran hasn’t really tried to keep moving up in rank and just defends his place. Part of it is that he has way too much fun continuously stomping on Don Flamenco’s pathetic attempts to take his spot.

Shalnark is the worst. Always with you doing something, everything Shalnark says was a hint of malice behind it he scares you.

Let me walk you through an average conversation with Shalnark “[readerrrrrrr] what are doing outside, you know your not supposed to be outside without a troupe member” he says as if you were a toddler caught in the cookie jar.

“I think you and me both know why I’m outside” you say, wasnt it obvious you hated it here and wanted to escape?

He walks up to you, you step back out of reflex “Next time you leave without a troupe member I’ll break your leg, as punishment” he says smiling. He pats you on the head before taking your hand and dragging you back inside.

So in short you are basically fucked, after that warning you stopped trying to escape. You now had little regard for your own life, as I said you no longer fear death. After what you have been through I can’t blame you.

Meanwhile with Killua and Gon they are currently scheming trying to find away to get you back. “They must be so scared!! What if they are torturing them or worse?!!” Gon said almost to tears at the thought of you being tortured.

Gon was like a chaotic mother hen, always stressing over you twenty four seven. Killua on the other hand was more calculated, in short he’s the brains of the two.

Kurapika and Leorio were with Gon and Killua the boys insisted on helping Kurapika with his revenge journey, mostly for you but also because Kurapika is a close friend and they want to help him.

Meanwhile with you, you were currently talking with Chrollo. Just about random things y’all liked it was weird to have such a normal conversation with them.

Chrollo had informed you that you were going with them to catch someone that worked with the chain user. Apparently he was working with a team of bodyguards. They were going to some hotel to find them.

So off you went, you were chilling by Machi’s side walking down some random street. Suddenly you felt a very familiar presence, the boys they were here. You had a knack for sensing people’s presence.

As much as you wanted to say something, you knew that this was your chance to escape from both of the groups of psychopaths.

So you devised a plan of escape, it was simple run when the boys attacked.

And soon enough they striked, sure enough you booked it as soon as they jumped out. The phantom troupe were caught off guard but recovered quickly. Unfortunately for them you had already started running and you didn’t plan on stopping.

The phantom troupe was to focused on the boys they didn’t notice you had already run off. After catching the boys Machi looked around “hey where’d the kid go?” Machi said confused despite you being right next to her she was too focused on the boys to notice that you slipped away.

The boys shared a look with each other a look of relief despite them being caught you had escaped that’s all that mattered.

You had run and didn’t stop you were finally free and this new found freedom gave you an adrenaline rush. It was euphoric, you were hopping on top buildings, going left, right, left right. Trying to make it hard for anyone following you to follow.

You were scared to look behind you what if you saw they chasing you. So when you were positive they couldn’t have followed you, you looked, no one was there. A wave of relief waged over you, you stood there in the rain for the first time in months, alone.

It was so nice you started crying, tears of joy it was amazing. Crying in the rain alone not having to worry about psychos smothering you.

After you stopped crying you realized how all that running made you insanely hungry. So you wondered the streets, you were broke so your only hope was to either dumpster dive or steal someone’s wallet. You were so hungry you didn’t care about the law.

With this new found wallet you bought your favorite food in the whole world, sat down and ate alone in peace. It was pure bliss you didn’t even care about the rain.

Eventually you found a nice ally way to sleep in, better than the phantom troupe you thought. As you found a flattened cardboard box to lay on a door creaked open slowly. You shrunk back scared. “Hello?” A child’s voice asked. You looked to see a kid that looked your age, blond hair and a big pink dress.

She scanned to ally and found you “oh are you alright?” She asked in a kind voice. “Yes miss dong worry about me I’ll be leaving now” you said rushing out of the ally but someone had snagged your shirt collar “I don’t want trouble honest” you said pleading.

“I’m not going to hurt you!” She said in an almost annoyed tone. “My names Biscuit Krueger just call me Bisky” she said holding you up by your shirt color like you were a kitten.

She inspected you intensely before staring at you wide eyed. After her shock wore off she put you down and ushered you inside despite your protests.

“Come along” she said leading you into her house “sorry miss bisky but i don’t even know you” you said planting your feet in the ground to stop her from dragging you.

“Your right how rude of me, what your name?” She asked as if she didn’t just shove you into her house. “[r-reader]” you said unsure if you should truthfully answer or not.

After getting more aquatinted she sat you down on her couc, brought you a towel and tea. “There is something very important I need to tell you” she said sounding like she was about to tell you you had cancer or something.

“Could this thing you are talking about could it, it affect the people around me?” You asked hopeing that you weren’t stuck with some type of virus making people act like this.

“Possibly, I need to do more research before I can answer, anything strange happen to you lately?” She asked.

I could name a mountain of things you thought. But how do you tell someone that not only did your closest friends turn psycho but the fricken phantom troupe kidnapped you and started playing a fucked up version of house.

“Well…. The people around have been acting strange… like possessive strange, always around me trying to keep me safe but it hurts me more than it helps” you told her trying to beat around the bush that you had been kidnapped.

“Well that is certainly strange, I’ll research it more, you should get some sleep” au said getting up “wait!” You said grabbing her hand “lemme help you, I’m not tired” you said trying to plead your case.

“The bags under your eyes say differently” she says pointing at the grey-purple blobs under your eyes.

Here's the scenario: They haven't seen their s/o in a decade, ever since they got put in prison. The rest of Troupe managed to break them out, and they go on the search for their s/o.

However, they encounter their son/daughter—who was eight the last time they saw them—now an adult and full-pledged hunter. Their child tells them that they'll defeat them and put them back into prison in the name of justice, which is sad because before they were captured and put into prison, they used to be very close.

Machi

Eyes the color of a cloudless sky meet those dissimilar to them yet all too familiar at the same time for as many reasons as there are stars during the time of midnight. The young man’s eyes share the same hue as yours, yet have the same type of glare Machi used to always use on you to keep you in line, to prevent you from doing anything stupid. 

“Komacine. I shall strike you down if it is the last thing I ever do.”

Machi is not scared, just disappointed, in both her son and you. 

“Oh?” But she is also happy because, for the first time in nearly ten years, she can see the image of her son and you, both within her grasp where you both belong. “You don’t mean that, do you?”

Her words made the young man’s sword be held up even higher, but she was still not afraid.

“I shall, Spider, that is a promise.” But deep within those eyes, there is regret and sorrow, Machi thinks.

“Is that any way to talk to your mother?”

Her son merely snarls like a wild animal, still having his weapon raised high. “You aren’t my mother. You’re just yet another piece of evidence of all the wrongs there are to be righted in this world.”

From the corner of her eye, Machi sees you wearing a pink apron through the window, seeming to be humming to something while peeling some potatoes, carrots, and onions. She would have made her way into your home by now, if your son hadn’t at that exact moment opened the front door, which had immediately set off his Nen detection.

“Am I not? You look just like the little boy I used to take to the playground all the time, all those years ago. The games we used to play, your favorite one being… hmm…” She put her thumb and pointer finger under her chin, pinching it lightly.

“That was then and this is now, Komacine. I will kill you for what you did, all the people you hurt and murdered in cold blood.” 

Choosing not to pay any clear attention to the threat, Machi simply thinks back to all the past moments, so bittersweet like her favorite tea blend.

“Ah… it was hide and seek, wasn’t it?” From the sound of silence, she knows she is right. “Shall we play that one now? …Would you like that?”

No answer is to be heard.

Shizuku

Shizuku turns her head to the side, confused. 

“Why are you attacking me?” Did she do something wrong? “Why do you think? I know you have a bad memory, but try to use that brain of yours, Spider. For your good.” This man looks familiar, but from where?

Then she realizes, as the moonlight shines on the tops of both of their heads, showing the eerily similar hues of ink black. She smiles, and the moonlight also shows how wide it is, much to the horror of the young man.

“Ah! You’re my son, all grown up! Gosh… the years have flown by, haven’t they?”

She chuckles as she reminisces about old times, full of sentimentality.

“We should have a game night, just like those times! Oh, to see your mother again as she plays with us… it would feel like a dream, wouldn’t it?” To see how you have matured too, just like your son, both from the inside and outside, is a sight that would make Shizuku’s heart burst with love. Even though you are all ten years older, she is sure that you are still as beautiful as ever.

It feels and sounds like a threat, but is it? Shizuku does not lie, and her threats are always nonexistent, anyway.

He prepares to run just in case it is and is real, though.

Pakunoda

In an instant, she gets closer than he can blink and puts a finger to his lips.

“Shush. Calm down, please. I love you both, and I always will.”

Little by little, the sword lowers, as small as the change is.

But she notices. She has always been observant, which only proves to be more amplified during her ten-year-long search for you.

“You’re a Spider, you hurt us, you hurt more than us. Why would I-” Another interruption.

“I missed you plenty, you know. You and your mother were the lights of my world all those years ago. You both still are. Did you miss me too? Either of you?” It is not an odd question, but without physical touch, it may as well be. Her Nen can only work when she has her hand or arm on someone, after all. However, even without using it, she can still detect when someone is lying. The slight quiver of the corner of the lips.

He can’t move. He can feel his soul sinking, far beneath the ground.

“No.” There is only one word, but the lie is still apparent.

“Shall we go in? We have a lot to discuss, your mother and I. We can also chat about old times if you want to.” She smiles as she walks up the steps, slowly with her hands raised. Her son lets her.

They needed to be together again regardless of everything. You loved them both, but refused to choose one of them over the other. Lucky you, you came up with a great idea. Therapy.

You told Pakunoda about it, and she thought it was a great idea. You thought about telling Hana, but in the end you knew she would make up an excuse, or just flat out tell you no. You 3 started to journey to the “mall”. You tried to make conversation between your child, and you wife. Even though it was kinda awkward, and one-sided you made it clear that you wanted everyone to engage in conversation so Pakunods spoke up.

“I think this therapy session will go great!”

The car got awkwardly silent. Pakunoda realized last minute that Hana didn’t know. She observed her change in body language even though she didn’t say anything. It rest of the car ride was mostly quiet.

Upon arriving to the building you took a look around, and walked inside.

You sat down and took a deep breath. Once you understood that everyone was situated you started to express your thoughts.

Hana gasped loudly. I mean she knew you were a bit out of your mind. This very session showing it, but the remark you just made, made her feel even worse than she did about the situation.

“Are you kidding?” Everyone stopped and looked at each other dumbfounded while you looked pleased with the question. Oh how oblivious you are.

MACHI:

At first she said no. Almost like she wanted nothing to do with her child, but no it wasn’t that. She was still upset, and wanted Mai to be aware of that. The thing that hurt her most is that she knew Mai didn’t care one bit. She wanted for you all to be a happy family more than anything. It was just you three after all.

You introduced the topic of therapy to her, and she didn’t want anything to do with it. Overtime she started to develop different feelings against your preachings of therapy. She finally agreed when you lied to her and said Mai said she wanted to do it. You even went as far to say that Mai was the one who started the idea and brought it up to you.

Now Machi was a little bit excited. It’s not that she doesn’t care about your opinion she loves you more than anything. She’s made that clear countless of times actually. Now you had to get Mai to go.

It wasn’t as hard as it was with her mother. Upon bringing up to Mai she said she would think about it and get back to you. She was in the middle of training so you thought to come back to her later.

A WEEK. Later Mai came back to say that she’ll go, but she had nothing to say. You took that because in your mind it was better than nothing.

You took the both of the to the session to ask your big question.

“How do I get the to love each other like they used too?”

Mai thought you were obviously out of your fucking mind.

Mai stared at you sympathetically her parent was sick in the mind. You in this state makes her even more determined to get the negative energy out of your life.

SHIZUKU:

Oh she was suffocating your son. You found it adorable how he would run away from her hugs, and kisses. When you craved and adored every single one of them. It wasn’t until Haruto almost attacked Shizuku because of her constant smothering. Haruto means well. And you know that, and so does Shizuku. You had to make up your mind. Let Haruto continue suffering or call a family meeting to have a therapy session. You’re decided. You chose to call a family meeting.

They both decided to go to fix whatever they called a family. Haruto found some type of love in his heart for his mother. Even though he knew she did bad things, and he’ll never forgive her doing such despicable acts. She’ll always be his only mother in this life. Yes he has you, and loves you more than anything, but he also love his mother.

You took them both to the session, and sat them down. The therapist took a look at you and Shizuku and Haruto, and than back at you.

“Alright so here we go. Is there anything you all are open to talk about with me?” The psychologist asked obviously intrigued.

“I love my wife, and I love my son. They just don’t seem to get along.”

Haruto loved you he really did, but your showing him signs that your sick. All the things his mother has done not just to people, but also to you. Why were you like this. He looked disgusted.

Kalluto is now in the troupe and has been for a while so the troupe members consider him family. Well, he has a tendency to think out loud about his family situation and needless to say the Zoldyck parents are now (unofficially because Chrollo values Illumi’s help to much to piss him off) on the phantom troupe’s hit list.

Phinks: “So kid, what’s it like having a family?”

Kalluto: “Well, I guess things have gotten a little weird. Since Killua left mom has been really sad and Illumi has been helping and lot more, Milluki has been kinda worried because he thinks dad is being weird or something I’m not sure he keeps saying he’s not allowed to tell anyone which is really annoying. My dad keeps calling Illumi into his office and then Illumi is constantly checking up on us but he also leaves the house a lot for work which is normal but he hasn’t been taking me with him and my dad is mad because he’s out so much and then meals are really awkward because my dad just talks about how much Illumi looks like our mother and how great Killua is and all that. Then Illumi is kinda mad at my dad for letting Killua go and so him and my mother have been conspiring to get him back and like kill his friends but apparently Hisoka won’t let him and I don’t know it’s gotten kinda weird and I’m not really sure what’s going on.”

Phinks jaw on the floor, Shalnark and Machi stopping their conversation to do a slow head turn, Shizuku confused, Chrollo interested because this is good blackmail and the rest of the members internally cringing.

How he deals with it depends on your relationship with him. But here's the most possible way it'll go:

He knows you have deperession.

He noticed it in your behavior. Either way he will sence that something is wrong with you and watch you more carfully. He will take note if you eat, if you wash yourself, brush your hair and teeth, how much you sleep, how much time you spend on your phone, etc...

He'll probably try to talk with you about it. But even if you say you're still able to feel when it's too much and can ask for his help he'll never let you out of his sight.

If you try to lie to him about you being ok he'll find a way to make you open up. And if it's not him you want to talk to he gets one of his members to get it out of you.

He might get Shalnark to play some games with you and set an easy mood. He might get Pakunoda or Machi. Two girl you know will never betray the ones they love.

(That their love goes to Chrollo, their leader and that they will tell him everything you said is unknown to you)

If you're not able to keep it together yourself he'll help you regardless if you want it or not. He will not leave you alone with it and will be with you the whole time.

He'll even cook for you and makes sure you eat. He'll bath with you and will in general help you to take care of yourself. He will brush your hair and even your teeth if you're not able to.

He will not leave you alone to make sure you won't harm yourself. He will take everything away from you that could be used to harm yourself (and belive me, he will know what to take away from you...)

We all know that he's very intelligent. He will be able to tell what's going on inside of you. He might even read books about it. And maybe even gives them to you so you can try to understand yourself better.
