Was Bi Han right?

Yes, I put that image here because I sympathize with Bi Han because of how much I hate how Liu Kang made his universe. So Liu Kang said to Bi Han that what Bi Han wants is not an issue to Liu Kang, But it’s Bi Hans' methods for achieving them. What does that have to do with keeping Earth safe and sound alongside others being what Bi Han and the Lin Kuei are meant to do? Liu himself doesn’t seem like someone the Lin Kuei would follow for these reasons.

He framed the Lin Kuei for being street thugs while they still served under him to test Raiden and Kung Lao. Could he have least had them go by a fake name? And it seems like Bi Han was right to betray Earth to try and break away from Liu Kang‘s forces.

He won’t let the rest of the world know about the other Realms. Earth’s people had always wanted to meet other civilisations out in the stars. Why rob them of that dream? This just delays the peace between Realms. Not enforce it.

There are no Liu Kuei representatives in that tournament we saw in MK1’s base story. further proving Liu Kang is unfit to control the Lin Kuei.

How Liu Kang sculpted his timeline was absolutely terrible. But I'll wait for another post. All I'll say for now is that I suspect I could have made a better Keeper of Time who gives it up when remaking the Universe is done.

So was Bi Han right? Why can’t the Lin Kuei be it’s own faction? Because Bi Han let his, Tomas’s and Kuai Liang‘s father die and joined up with Shao and the Deadly Alliance letting humanity either be enslaved or massacred, Both to make that dream come true. Why can they only be henchmen of Liu Kang?

Super Nintendo

Não recordo muito bem o dia que ganhei meu Super Nintendo...  Se eu cheguei em casa e já estava lá ou se fui no camelô com meu pai e uns amigos. Pensando bem, acho que foi a segunda a opção, pois lembro de ter sido influenciado por um amigo para comprar o Mortal Kombat e esse foi o primeiro jogo de SNES que tive.

O SNES vinha na caixa do conhecido Control Set, uma aposta mais econômica da Nintendo, que vinha com um controle só e sem jogo. Mas o meu venho com dois, e eram um desses cheio de funções turbos, que se mostrou ótimo para os desafios bônus do Mortal Kombat, “test your might” virou mais “test your turbo function”.  Depois de velho descobri que esse controle era um modelo da Hudson, mesma empresa de Bomberman.

O Mortal Kombat me fascinou muito pelos gráficos, mas mais que isso ele realmente tinha um clima sinistro. Lembro de jogar até tarde e chegar a enfrentar o Goro, tomar um pau e ter que cruzar a casa inteira de noite, me cagando. Só que pra cruzar a casa tinha  um quadro de um palhaço no fim desse corredor muito longo, e é daqueles quadros que parece que sempre tão te olhando, e o palhaço nem tá feliz ou rindo, ele só tá assim... =|. Eu não era uma criança com medo de palhaço, mas desse sim. PALHAÇO FDP.

O MK do SNES não tem sangue, uma grande queixa de muitos, mas ele também tem uma sensação de controles meio travados, não flui tão bem. Minha referência são com as sequências pro mesmo console. Nunca joguei o do Mega Drive e eu cresci ouvindo que a versão no console da Sega era muito superior. 

Além do Mortal Kombat, que até hoje faz parte das discussões de console wars, naquela semana loquei um clássico do SNES, Aladdin, que ironicamente também é uma discussão fervorosa nessa extinta guerra. 

O interesse se deu justamente por causa do filme da Disney, que eu era muito fã. O game não decepcionou. Ótima arte, música bem arranjada para o SNES, e um gameplay muito foda. Lembro de ser muito satisfatória a sensação de controlar nosso amigo AL. Sua velocidade, pulo, como fazia as acrobacias e se pendurava nos lugares possuiam animações caprichadas. Lembro de ter dificuldades no level do tapate mágico, o com a lava, mas fora isso, o desafio era bem equilibrado para um público infantil.
