I hate how mortal kombat can do a ton of cool shit and they choose to do a multiverse. Like Fujin and Raiden for me is the coolest shit ever cause they are the two sides of "love" for something that dies. Raiden loves humanity but keeps distance and chooses not to be part of it cause not only it will blur his judgement, but he will probably fall sick because hes imortal and they all die (like dark raiden) and fujin is the opposite, he loves humanity, wants to be part of it, part of humans (even have a child), cause the best way to love something is undertanding, and he cant understand them if he acts like a god. But they are both necessary, cause humanity needs someone who loves, understand AND someone who controls and analyze. They are the best teachers a human champion can have, and i think we need more Lord Raiden and Fujin. Also i love the headcanon that the Elder Gods dont give a fuck for earthrealm cause humans are weak and they only serve for slaves and stuff like that.
