We started thinking up an idea for an analog horror-esque video back in July, so I'm beyond thrilled to finally share the results! I tried a lot of new things with this one, and I'm infinitely grateful for Astravis's patience, advice, hard work, and beautiful, inspirational animations and editing.

Part 1 is the skilled Astravis, and Part 2 (and the subtitles) is me! The song is "Poison Tree" by Grouper, and our video sources—composed of a lot of actual VHS footage recorded from my VCR!—are:

"Poison Tree" has been such a fun project to work on, and I learned so much as an editor from the experience. It's a bit surreal to see it all together after months of work—but also really, really amazing. I'm so glad to be able to share it now!
