Thank you @simarcana so very much for your wonderful and inspiring ask! I do have a very ooc Morgyn who became more of an oc over time. For the story I have in mind for them, I strongly associate them with the Strength card. For their craving of power, their entanglement with lust and all that they have been through to get where they are now. ✨🕯️✨

The Grand Vampire and the Sage

This will forever be my one true pairing. Vladislaus Straud x Morgyn Ember, it just spell utter chaos to me. 

I also like the dicothomy between Vlad and Morgyn currently, and Adam and Inna in the past.

In my ‘lore’ of the game, Vladislaus Straud, originally the Warlock of the Kingdom, was employed by king Adam, who eventually became the first vampire and turned Vladislaus into a vampire. Due to the abuse, Vlad becomes subservient and dependent of Adam, until Adam meets Inna, and the old dead good king that Vlad once love starts returning under Inna’s love. Fearing Inna would take her king, Vlad turned her so they both could keep her.

Vlad never coped well with being replaced by Inna, and even less by loosing his face to Adam and Inna.

When Vlad meets Morgyn’s mother, he falls in love, for Morgyn’s mother could see past the deformed face he held and saw the true Vladislaus in there, the former allsage, a long lost hero of a long lost kingdom who had lost his beloved and his identity. 

But the Spellcasters took the woman from him. In rage he attacked the Spellcasters, decided in taking revenge and his face back. This ends with the near destruction of RoM, and since the Spellcasters took his face, Vlad, in return, broke their Realm and created their own Nexus, forcing three spellcasters to become permanently bound to RoM to contain it, much like he had done with the Werewolves before.

Queue in Morgyn, her little child, who vaguely remembers Vlad and becomes obsessed with finding out the truth behind their mother’s death and their own ascension to into Sagehood. Their pursuit leads them to find out about the Allsage and straight into the clutches of Vlad.

The two become trapped in a Icarus vs the Sun kind of situation, with Morgyn trying to deny their feelings for Vlad by using Caleb, and Vlad trying to harm Morgyn in an attempt to deny their very heart, while both unable to deny the hot mess they’re in. Much like Inna and Adam found themselves centuries ago.

Will they suffer the same downfall?

I portrayed the younger versions of the sages, among them Cael Reyes, Ethren Reyes' nephew. Cael held a position as one of the sages until his untimely passing, whereupon Simeon Silversweater seamlessly stepped into his place. But, well... I'll always be stuck in this era (>؂•̀)

The vibe is vampire romance novel cover shoot.

A while ago, @fallstaticexit planted a seed in my brain about vampire Morgyn and it's finally sprouted! I feel like they would play up the drama of it all by using their new glowing eyes, fangs, and pointy ears to heighten their already fabulous style. I see no reason why they couldn't still be a spellcaster (ignoring game mechanics), so that would still be a major influence on their aesthetic. Of course, I had to give Caleb his flowing locks and corseted waist moment too for the full vampire power couple fantasy. Lilith had better watch her back!

if you're wondering why bob is here it's bc in the original villareal story there was a very minor background detail that diego lobo and bob pancakes dated in college and broke up tragically and that's where the story peaked. so i included him it's still canon

i did these in my this is the fall sim style so i'm thinking. if they exist in this universe what's all their opinions on the 'did jacques do it' situation. let's take a look

don: saw a photo of jacques's wife on the news during the investigation. said "whoa mama that's a hot babe!" like johnny bravo and did not read the headline. does not know anything about it still.

vlad: well he's psychic he could figure out the truth if he actually cared. and he has!

olive: obviously respects it. except for the getting investigated part, would never happen to her.

diego: does not think jacques did it but enjoys the tabloids. knows other rich people personally who he thinks have killed their spouses

morgyn: will post things like "friendly reminder that j*cques v*llareal literally killed his wife and is a billionaire so maybe don't go to one of their hotels" on tumblr and will then do a call out post about like a fanfic writer who wrote an unhealthy relationship with more severity

pascal: knows conspiracy theories and this one is bullshit. or maybe it just doesn't interest him as much as aliens and that's why he thinks that

jeb: has a very "well of course he did. them rich folk can do whatever they want. there ain't no hope for the rest of us" while kicking a can down the road approach

bob: thinks he did it. is very alarmed that it was brushed off. eliza's like bob book the hotel and he's like am i going crazy. does anyone hear me.
