How do we feel about angst cos this story seems to be turning out to be a lot darker than I expected it to be
#not that there aren't very dark elements in my other writing sometimes#or in the canon for that matter#but still#Moran is very broken in this#and now I'm thinking the reasons for that#are even darker than I originally thought#and Watson and the Holmes brothers are probably getting put through some shit too#there's plenty of potential for hurt/comfort though I guess

Ed and Lorraine were standing side by side backstage of a talk show set in New York City, his red tie matching her red skirt as it usually did, waiting patiently for their names to be called out.
This was apart of what they did. They were professional paranormal experts and were certified by the Roman Catholic Church to perform exorcisms. They were jam packed with pending cases that the church wanted them to investigate plus the odd family that approached them at church or in grocery stores to beg for help and those sort of things they often did for free. So to supplement their incomes, they agreed to lecture at colleges and do televised interviews. Some went well…while others not so much but no matter what, Ed was always going to be there to defend Lorraine and what they did.
Lorraine Moran had been his best friend since they were seventeen years old and by the time she had gone to college and he had been drafted in the Navy, he had grown to love her. He fell in love with her. All it took for him to realize he was in love with Lorraine was her writing letters to him while he was shipped out every day, making him feel loved and wanted and adored.
When he came home on his first leave after half a year at sea, he went to visit her at her dorm room and they had hugged…and kissed and made love.
They continued to have sex every now and then but Ed had been ferried to admit to her how he truly felt because he believed that she didnt want a relationship with him, she just wanted a best friends with really amazing benefits thing. His suspicions were confirmed when she started dating and eventually married Charles Hockley after college when they met at church.
Needless to say, a heartbroken Ed was very relieved he never told Lorraine he was in love with her and ruined their friendship. He, of course, was supportive of what made Lorraine happy and if marrying Charles made her happy, he would tape up his broken heart and move on but he would never stop loving her or being her absolute best friend.
“Ready for this one?” Ed whispered to Lorraine, gently squeezing her hand. He could hear the host of the show getting ready to introduce their segment.

Hello!! If requests are still open (if not, please ignore) can I ask for a Louis Moriarty x reader like the Mycroft “regret” one you wrote? Where he says something mean and they get into a fight and it’s dramatic with a fluffy ending? I would appreciate it very much! ♥️
SWEET APOLOGIES
Reblogs and Comments are greatly appreciated!!

__________________________________________________________________________
Your name being shouted makes you prick your finger on your sewing needle. You curse and drop the thing onto your current project which happened to be a pair of Moran’s trousers. You were often asked to sew various things, whether that was an injury or socks. You were the Moriarty’s tailor or seamster and makeshift doctor.
The voice shouts your name again. Moran maybe? But wasn’t he out with Bonde and Louis?
You make it to the top of the stairs and stop dead in your tracks.
Louis hangs limp between Sebastian Moran and James Bonde. Blood drips from his forehead, and he’s clearly unconscious and missing his glasses.
You’re down the stairs in an instant.
You direct them to the sitting room, where you have them leave Louis while you retrieve your stitching needles and threads, as well as some medical supplies like bandages and whiskey.
Because you know he’s going to need it when he wakes up.
“What happened to him?” You ask as you gently work his suit coat from his shoulders. Moran favors his right side, and you make a mental note to take a look at him after Louis. Bonde has a scratch above his left eye but otherwise looks unharmed.
“We were jumped,” Moran says, voice strained with pain, and if you had to guess, he has a couple of cracked or broken ribs. You end up handing him the bottle of whiskey to which he takes several long swigs.
Soon enough, you dismiss Moran and Bonde, promising them you’ll look at their injuries later, leaving you and Louis alone in the sitting room. He lets out a pained moan as you agitate his injuries in your attempt to remove his shirt but doesn’t awaken.
It isn’t until you are threading your needle that he stirs. By that time, you had bandaged his lesser wounds and were working on what looked like a knife cut on his collarbone. It’s awkward and long, and you’re fairly certain that his shirt is partially shredded because of it.
But your rage has started to grow. Tiny and hot like a dying ember, but slowly fed by your worry and panic at seeing him so injured.
His already darkened maroon eyes are even darker because of the pain. He grits his teeth and tries to sit up but is stopped by you putting a gentle hand on his chest.
“Don’t get up. You’re hurt.” You say quietly, keeping a tight leash on your anger so as to not anger him.
The last thing you needed was for him to get angry back and start an argument.
“I’m fine.” He tries, but you glare and show him your bloody fingers where you had been stitching for the last twenty minutes.
“Clearly you aren’t. So be quiet and let me finish.” You snap, the leash on your temper fraying just the tiniest bit.
Thankfully, Louis catches your slip and doesn’t say anything. Instead, he bites his tongue and leans back against the couch arm. You’ll likely have to throw the couch out or burn it after you’re done. It’s stained in blood and grime from his injuries.
As soon as you finish the last stitch, Louis is sitting up and pushing your hands away.
“I promise I’m fine.” He says quickly, and that’s when your patience snaps.
“What do you mean you’re fine?! THIS IS NOT FINE!” You shout, and he stops where he’s shrugging on his button-down and suit coat. His movements are painfully slow, and it’s clear that he’s suffering.
But that doesn’t stop his temper from flaring up to meet yours like two bucks charging each other.
“Can you stop it for a moment?!” He snaps back and yanks on his suit coat, ignoring how it pulls his stitches. You toss the dirty needle back into your bag and feel tears burn in your eyes.
“You promised me you weren’t going to be reckless! You promised!” You exclaim, and he grits his teeth,
“Well, promises can be broken, so just leave me alone, yeah?” He says, and you flinch back.
Then, with tears threatening to overflow down your cheeks, you pack up your things and leave with a slam of the sitting room door. It rattles the chandelier above you as you wander the mansion halls in search of Bonde and Moran.
You find Moran in his chambers, smoking a cigarette and shuffling a deck of cards.
“Those’ll kill you, y’know.” You say as a way of entrance and he looks up, clearly unimpressed.
“Then I’ll die doing somethin’ I like.” He retorts, and you roll your eyes, shuffling inside to take a seat across from him.
“Take your shirt off.” You say curtly, and he huffs out a laugh,
“At least buy me a drink first.” You look up to the ceiling and pray for patience. Because after Louis, you don’t have any left.
Did he really want you to leave him alone?
“I need to see if you broke anything dumbass.” You say eventually, and his eyebrows shoot up into his hairline.
“What’d Louis do t’ you t’ get your knickers in a twist?” He says, clearly picking up on your foul mood. You set your bag down and reach inside for bandages in case he’s bleeding.
“Nothing. Louis just wants me to leave him alone, is all.” You say and swallow down the lump in your throat.
If he was so willing to break this promise what others was he going to break?
Thankfully, Moran doesn’t say anything else and instead sheds his shirt so you can take a look at his side. It’s mottled in purples and blues and slightly swollen. You don’t have to touch it to know it’s tender. So, you prescribe him rest and the occasional shot of whiskey to dull the pain.
“No missions for you for a while. Take it easy, alright?” You instruct and he nods, waving you off as he starts playing a card game with himself.
“Yeah, yeah, go check on Blondie, will ya? He took a pretty good look to the head.”
You are about to say something when you see Louis hobbling down the hallway, favoring his stitches. He stops, looks at you, scowls, and continues down toward his bedroom. You huff and brush past him toward where you guessed Bonde would be.
Two can play that game.
The tension between you is palpable by day four of not speaking to each other. Perhaps it was day two, but you didn’t really care to count—not when Louis was still being so touchy.
But it wasn’t long before everyone else came to you, asking you to make things right.
“He’s so mopey! Not at all like himself!” That was Bonde. You grunted to acknowledge his words but didn’t respond past that.
“He’s got a stick up his ass. You should talk to him.” Moran. At that, you roll your eyes and stab your needle into your embroidery. Perhaps more aggressively than you meant to, but it got your point across.
“He said he wanted me to leave him alone. So that’s what I’m doing.” You snap, and he relents and doesn’t push the issue anymore.
Soon, everyone has come to you, complaining about Louis’s sour behavior. And every single time, you turn them away with the same excuse. It isn’t until you stumble upon Louis nursing a clearly infected injury that you relent and talk to him.
You enter the library to find Louis hunched over himself, taking a long pull from a whiskey bottle as he tries to remove his stitches.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” You snap, hurrying to his side to stop him before stopping yourself.
The injury on his collarbone is infected—that much is obvious. The wound has an unpleasant odor emanating from it and is red and inflamed. He’s successfully removed a handful of stitches, but a few remain.
“What does it look like?” Louis retorts and sets down the whiskey bottle. It’s clear he’s in pain, his nose scrunched and his eyes tight.
Despite your anger, you’re gentle in helping Louis. After some back and forth, he eventually sits back and lets you work.
Pus oozes from the gash, and you work to clean it out and apply a poultice of your own design to help fight infection. Then, you leave the wound open to breathe.
“I’ll restitch it later if it starts bleeding again.” You say and begin cleaning up the mess that Louis had made.
He stops you by saying your name oh so softly. You sigh, stop what you’re doing, and look at him. He looks sad. Broken. And hurt.
“I don’t want to keep fighting.” He says, and you scoff,
“You told me to leave you alone. So I am.” You say and go to leave but he catches your wrist as you stand to leave.
“I’m sorry.” He blurts, and you stop, raising an eyebrow at him, and he continues.
“It was never my intention to hurt you. I want you to know that. It’s no excuse, but I was in pain and upset that the mission went so badly. But I took it out on you, and I’m sorry.” He finishes, and with each word, you feel your anger dissipating. You lean down and press your mouth to his hairline in a soft kiss.
“I accept your apology. Thank you, Louis.” You whisper, and he smiles.

My name is Camille. I am a born transgendered woman. When I was a child I said that I was a girl but the world called me a "faggot." Under the sky of pain called psychiatry I was locked away for many years and had the requisite tortures: the terror of electroshock, my bones broken, my body drugged and raped. I was not raised as a gender but as a bug of a child to be smashed. I am nobody's victim. My body belongs to me & so does my holy brain. I am the ghost of the untapped conscience of shrinks, a lurking justice, a part of the gathering truth that is rising with a common voice out of the wake of their evil blue fire. Transsexuals are born into the book of labels. We may be genetic but we are not genetically defective sub-human creatures. By the very nature of our difference, the independence of our alien spirituality, and the passion of the power of our will, we are a threat to the ruling delusions of the mental death profession. No one has our permission to debate the validity of our existence, to define our reality, to dismiss our pain, and to name us. We name ourselves. If you could look into the collective genetic memory of your humanity you would find us in the rivers of your dreams, for we were always here, we were here when Earth was a green spirit. We were a natural occurrence in a singing world. In times of absolute horror and destruction I wish for you all the transformational creativity of an utterly beautiful madness, and I offer you the blessing of a holy human freak.

Jolie’s thoughts on
Silver Blaze Part 3 & 4
(Sherlock & Co. podcast)
No, I tell a lie, because I still have stuff from part 2 that I wanted to point out, too:
I‘m a tiny bit obsessed with John's "doink - doink - doink" sounds after they cross the river.
I also laughed out loud at the Romans clearing out at 3:45.
And there’s a very sweet moment, too, that I didn’t really notice before, when they look at the victim‘s body with Inspector Gregory and Watson goes on about possible reasons why a single blow with a stick could have inflicted such damage, osteoporosis etc and Gregory thinks he’s just rambling, but Sherlock absolutely knows he’s not and nudges him back on track with that gentle "What are you thinking?" Because it’s not just John who wants his Sherlock to shine on a case, it’s the other way round, too!
And I honestly hadn’t noticed until the third relisten that at the very end of part 2 when they’re sneaking around Mapleton, John is basically solving the whole effing case just when Sherlock turns up and interrupts him!
Well, on to part 3 & 4!
Sherlock getting a black eye this time rather than a broken nose, yay, we love variety in our hero whumps. I could listen to entire episodes of Sherlock getting hurt and John looking after him.
Sherlock and John faking a legit job to get the information out of the local bookie was such a classic ACD scene, the way they work together completely seamlessly in situations like that is so great. I’ve also seen it pointed out that Sherlock can be so awkward with people when he’s being himself, but he’s always so confident and at ease when he’s just playing a role and being completely fake (without needing a break afterwards or telling us it’s exhausting, too!). That’s a totally fascinating contrast.
Part 2 had John accidentally solving the mystery of the murder weapon. Part 3 has John basically paving the way for the dog deduction. I love a competent Doctor Watson who knows exactly what he’s doing, but I also love it when he’s truly being Sherlock’s famous conductor of light.
John being canonically a Bond fan, love how they’re still incorporating so much BBC Sherlock fanon into this show. I‘m now eagerly waiting for Moriarty and Colonel Moran to be hot young men who have hot sex with each other, too.
"No more than you’re being human" - "Me more than you, mate" - Can ALL the John Watsons of this world please instantly stop dehumanising their Sherlocks and calling them robots or machines. I can accept it maybe up to their third case together, but in any adaptation that I know, the Sherlocks have proved themselves to have a big heart and to have it entirely in the right place, too, by case 4 at the latest. I don’t like to see any Watson regressing to the cheap laugh of "Sherlock’s a machine and doesn’t have feelings" after that, and I dislike it especially in this version where we get a Watson who is particularly well-attuned to and tolerant of Sherlock’s neurodivergence. Sorry, rant over.
Hey and I was right in my prediction that Sherlock didn’t drop John's phone at Mapleton Stables by accident but left it there on purpose! Even if I assumed it would be recording audio evidence rather than be used as a tracker. Which of course begs the question, did Sherlock really manage to somehow connect his phone to John’s and enable tracking in the very few seconds he had before Silas Brown turned up with the gun? Or is he always tracking John‘s phone as a matter of course? And if the latter, does he do it out of care/worry for John‘s safety and wellbeing, or is he doing it in a creepy/possessive way?
Anyway. After listening to part 4, I must admit I am somewhat underwhelmed by that bit… I don’t know what it is, but parts 1-3 are positively bursting with humour and action, while by part 4 I felt they had kinda lost the momentum. There’s nothing really wrong with it, and maybe it feels different when you’re not familiar with the original story and every revelation is truly jawdropping and not just ticking a box. Maybe I‘m also a little underwhelmed that the final denouement at Aintree is so… private. The horse whose disappearance - we are to believe - has GRIPPED THE NATION and is THE news story of the year is just back, and everyone’s just fine with it? No comments from anyone involved in the case? No congratulations from the owners? No bittersweet relief from Edi and Ned? No genuine relief from Fitz? No acknowledgement from the official police? No tearjerking speeches in parliament? I‘d say if you start a story on that kind of epic scale, you shouldn’t end smaller. I really wanted all those loose ends nicely tied up and got… none.
I also either missed something important, or we never really learned the reason why Mapleton kept hiding Silver Blaze? I see how they took him in at first, maybe thinking they’d get a big reward or ransom, or wanting to pass him off as one of their own, but the way it is, they just hide him for no reason and then give him back for no reason?
Am I being too critical?
The thing with the "S" and the "5" was clever though. And poor John and his abysmal Air BnB rating was hilarious, too.

So I was lazing in bed this morning and remembered this one Really Weird line Albert had in the tower while talking to William, and decided to pull it apart again, and....you know, I think it reads a lot differently after reading Sherliam's "wedding vows."
Obviously, William had that context in this scene, although Albert and the reader didn't at the time, which is also interesting.
Anyway, the context to this bit is that Albert had been lamenting his weakness in needing William's help, and William bounced it back at him saying that, no, he needed Albert's help, and that he was the weak one, and also who cared if they were weak, because it helped them empathize with people who needed help.
And then Albert's got this line that loosely translates to (and I can diagram it later if someone wants me to, but), "I see. People...seek to encounter love because of their imperfections. If they were perfect to start with, then love would not be a necessity..."
Which, to me, was just a wildly weird take on love. Like, IDK, expecting someone else's affections to fill the holes in yourself is like. Not great, generally? And people love for reasons other than that we're broken, and want love for other reasons? I don't know?
But in context of Sherliam basically both going to each other, "I'm flawed, and I need your help, and I want to be by your side to do it," that "会う" feels much more like "together" than "encounter."
Because "会う" is a word that indicates a kind of unity, but it can mean doing things together, or it can mean meeting, it can mean to match and fit together.
And now that we've seen Sherliam take love not as something they're seeking out, but something they want to do together, a way in which to fit around each other...the whole thing feels different to me. Their love/foundation is built on helping each other through their imperfections, not on being perfect for each other.
And, obviously, William and Albert and his brothers and his friends are also all getting there. But for so much of the series, they were all trying to be...perfect for each other. William wanted to be in control and make sure everything went perfectly. Louis wanted to do everything he could to ease his brothers' burdens. Albert was always trying to make himself as useful as he could. Moran wanted to be the staunchest defender. And on and on and on.
But Sherlock and William started the admission of being imperfect and leaning on each other to sort of three-legged race their way to their end, and now William is taking that lesson back to his family, and it's very sweet.
And I think it makes more sense now, to read this less as a treatise on the purpose of love (????) and more as a treatise on how to love, and what love can do.

What I would Gift the Mtp characters if I met them Pt-2
Sherlock Holmes
➨I just KNOW he has broken at least 30 test tubes by pouring acid the incorrect way, just to see how the glass breaks.
➨But sadly, I like him as a character, so I’d gift him something encouraging his scientific pursuits.
➨I’d buy him beakers, test tubes and maybe a few mercury thermometers.
John Watson
➨He is a writer and a doctor. Of course the perfect gift would be a typewriter.
➨There’s no need for it to be fancy, but it needs to have a lot of utility.
➨The typewriter must have proper keys so that the keys type even with light pressure.
➨I’d also gift him a pen. Sometimes a writer needs to physically write to improve or get over writers block.
Zack Paterson
➨I’ll become his maid—
➨JK JK GUYS—
➨I wouldn't give any physical gift to him. Rather, I’d do some managing for his office.
➨Cleaning his desk, arranging his paperwork, dusting his bookshelf, y’know, that kind of stuff.
Sebastian Moran
➨As a person who frequently gambles, he loves a good deck of cards, especially ones that help him cheat.
➨But, i don’t think that habit of his is good for him on the long run…
➨So I’d buy him something else as a distraction. You know those cards with amazing illustrations and chromatic colours? Yeah i’d get him loads of that!
Moneypenny
➨A calculator. A basic one would do just fine.
➨As Albert’s assistant, I’m assuming she takes care of the MI6’s finance. Calculating large numbers on paper is too time consuming.
➨This gadget will be very helpful for her (Unless Von already made one or her)
Von Herder
➨If I’m correct, an engineer's most useful tool would be a screwdriver. So why not gift him one?
➨Being blind (I assume) it must be hard to get the little screws to perfectly align with the screwdriver’s head. Therefore, I would give him a magnetic one.
➨Of course, i’d also make sure it’s electric to fasten the process of making any invention.
Jack Renfield
➨Some fancy cigar for stress.
➨Idk what to comment, this old man prolly needs in right now considering his past.
➨Imagine Moran getting jealous that he didn’t receive this gift and tries to steal it, but Mr Renfield just casually knocks him out unconscious >.<
Mileveton
➨A slap
➨What? It’s not like he could track me. I’m from a parallel universe
➨But on a serious note, I’d gift him…The Moriarty brothers.
➨So that they could kill him—
➨I didn’t even know i hated him until I started writing about him damm…

Glenn Rambo
Glenn Marshall Rambo was born on December 4th, 1970 in Alice, Jim Wells County, Texas. His father was Gary W Rambo, and mother, Rebecca Anne Roark. Though he had siblings on his mother’s side, I’m unsure if there are any on his father’s side.
There wasn’t a whole lot that I could find about Glenn’s life, other than some old forum posts that talked of him posthumously. On my death space, there was a post from the user “Puke”, who copied and pasted a letter/description about Glenn Rambo, and the life that he lived.
Glenn was raised by his mother and grandmother in Violet, Louisiana, St. Bernard Parish, the New Orleans area. He was “blessed/cursed’ with a unique appearance “which some found strange or evil”, and would lead him to be harassed on a daily basis, by closed-minded law enforcement and those who called him and his family “witches”. Others in St. Bernard would always see Glenn walking everywhere, with a big boombox on his shoulder, taking his time and listening to his music. He soon acquired the affectionate nickname “Lilac Ozzy”, finding a safe haven connecting with “freaks” like himself in the growing underground Hardcore/punk/metal scene in New Orleans.
Eventually starting a band called Nuclear Crucifixion in the mid 80’s with friends Donovan Punch, Brian Patton, Dave Moran, and Darren Shallenberg. This band would eventually morph into the early iterations of Soilent Green. Their shows would be memorable not only for their “ahead-of-their-time” fusion style, but also Glenn’s outrageous stage persona. He was a true performance artist, as recalled, and would eventually end up singing with bands like “Nun Molesters”, “GM Pussy Bitch”, and Swarm”. Glenn is remembered as the guy that, “knew every lyric, every riff, and who had such an extensive knowledge (of) music in general, that you could talk for hours and hours with him, and he’d just keep recommending new bands, or pulling out obscure and arcane types of music you may not have heard of”.
Despite people thinking that he was sinister, he was actually “one of the most genuine, loving, intelligent people you’d ever meet.”. He’s remembered for his dark and piercing appearance, while also having an absolutely hypnotic speaking voice. Low, modulated, and subtle; a true Southern gentleman. Glenn loved reading, obtaining information, and devoured books. He was always thirsty for knowledge, and a deeper understanding of spirituality. “No garden variety Satanist”, Glenn was more interested in human nature and all its darkness. Wise beyond his years, he was also very sensitive. You could talk to him seriously about any number of topics. He also had a keen sense of humor, and a sense of absurdity. Glenn was a lover of animals, who he adopted a whole flock, and called them his babies. He’d walk around the French Quarter with his beloved ferrets stuffed in his pockets, sneaking up his jacket, curled around his neck.
Glenn had epilepsy, which caused him to be on meds his whole life; the condition gave him seizures, but he considered it a blessing in disguise, because it “gave him visions that other people couldn’t see.”. His mother had epilepsy too.
He would take something potentially tragic, and turn it into something unique and magical. When he’d see you, he’d come over to give you a hug and a kiss. Glenn is recalled as a healing presence, a truly enchanting soul.
Glenn stayed in Voilet, Louisiana because he and his mother didn’t have a car, his leg was broken, and he didn’t have anywhere to evacuate to. He thought that they could just bear down, and ride out the storm. They may not have wanted to leave the comfort of their home, when they didn’t have anywhere to go to. But, “when the levees broke, they didn’t stand a chance.”.
One of his favorite quotes was, “Invoke me under my stars! Love is the law, love under will. Nor let the fools mistake love; for there are love and love. There is the dove, and there is the serpent. Choose ye well! He, my prophet, hath chosen knowing the law of the fortress, and the great mystery of the house of God.” Liber al vel Legis 1:57, Aleister Crowley.
♦♦♦ [Music History] ♦♦♦
On the metal archives, Glenn’s musical history is still rather vague. It lists that he sang for the bands mentioned before, though the only ones with dates or links seems to be Soilent Green and Nuclear Crucifixion, as of June 2023. I’m not sure what the exact time frame was for the other bands.
Nuclear Crucifixion is listed as having been from New Orleans, Louisiana; one source states Metairie in particular. They formed in 1987, and lasted through 1988, though the archive also states 1989. I don’t know the info about that specifically. This iteration of the band had 2 demos, the first being “Killing Ourselves To Live”, in 1987, and the second, “Torture of Humanity”, in 1988. The former starts with a song titled, “Nuclear Vomit”, which was later reworked into some Soilent Green songs, like “Numb Around The Heart”. Both demo releases were on cassette, no label. The band was also listed as being spelled “Crucifixtion”, with a T, and at some point it was called “Seveth”.
The band’s music was very underground, with this general old school Death Metal feel, which is right on par with the nearby Florida Death Metal scene that exploded around that time period. Though it may be obvious to those my age and older, for the younger audience, it seems that the band’s name was inspired by the idea of nuclear fallout. During this time period in the US, with the cold war, many pieces of media reflect this fear; the first to come to mind for me, is ‘Retaliation’ by Carnivore.
The first NC demo was spelled “Nuclear Crucifixtion”. The band photo that is found on the metal archives was taken by Al Hodge of Tungsten, in what was Donovan Punch’s grandmother’s garage. The garage was where they practiced, the area previously having been used as a dance studio by his grandma. Soilent Green also practiced there when they formed, and in the early 90’s Jason Pizzolato’s band Apostasy would play shows with Soilent Green.
Sammy Duet, second to the left, wearing a ‘Nun Molesters’ shirt.
While “Nun Molesters” isn’t listed as its own page on the metal archives or discogs, a few videos from Jason Pizzalato dates the band at having played from 1989-1991. I assume that this was virtually a name change for the band Nuclear Crucifixion, since it had similar members. The band had a man named Joey Hall who was on vocals for the demos and shows, but it should be noted that the band would switch instruments, and invite friends and audience members to join them on stage. Glenn is actually listed as having played drums here.
Glenn would include their Nun Molester recordings at the end of some demo tapes for Soilent Green that he dubbed and sold. As Pizzolato said, “Classic Nun Molester songs include, ‘We Like Smoking Weed’ and ‘Big Pussy’.”. Joey Hall is listed as having later become a cop.
Nun Molesters seemed like a hilarious band to see live, as the demos were quite silly. Though musically great, the eloquence of “I like to eat vagina” cannot be understated. Or maybe that was Nuclear Crucifixion? :p
A video from the amazing ‘Acid Bath Archive’ actually shows a small snippet in time of Nuclear Crucifixion’s life, where Glenn Rambo and Brian Patton were interviewed. The interview was from Pagan Fest, July 22nd, 1988, which took place in Dallas, Texas.
A cassette of the first NC demo is shown, with some footage of the band playing. Glenn stated that they decided to play at Pagan Fest because they really like Dallas, and how the people would listen to music and “accept it for what it is, instead of denying it for it ain’t.”. When asked if he’d still help underground bands if they got famous, Glenn said that he absolutely would.
In 1988, Soilent Green was formed. Also having Rambo, of course, the band’s first iteration seemed to consist of him, Brian Patton, Donovan Punch, Marcel Trenchard, and Tommy Buckley. Some of the earliest demos, as posted by Jason Pizzolato, state that Soilent formed after the ashes of Nuclear Crucifixion. Once again, the time frame is a little confusing, and I don’t know if Nun Molesters was its own separate entity from Soilent. The metal archives states that Soilent was formed after Rambo, Punch, and Patton left Nuclear Crucifixion, though I am unsure what their reasons are, for why they left that band.
The early iteration of Soilent Green is vastly different from the records we know today. A 1989 demo provides a thrashy feel, and the ones from 1990 have that underground early Death Metal feel. The tracks posted by Pizzolato remind me a lot of Macabre’s album “Dahmer”, which actually came out 10 years after those! Early Soilent had this fantastic Death Metal feel which could have really turned them into a major forerunner of the genre, at least, in my eyes. Or ears. It feels like the sound that they achieved in 1990 seemed to be somewhere that Glenn wanted to achieve, as his vocals settled in the Death range, and to me, were great! I’m reminded a lot of bands like ‘Ripping Corpse’, ‘Death’, and ‘Baphomet’. It almost makes me sad that this iteration of the band didn’t continue on.
In 1989, the band released their first demo, which was on cassette. According to videos of the demo by Pizzolato, the demo was recorded at Protech Productions, in Marrero, Louisiana.
In 1991, a demo was released called ‘Satanic Drug Fog’ which was recorded in 1990 in Baytown, Texas. This was recorded the same time as their other demo, ‘Squiggly’. Squiggly is also known as ‘Squiggly Demons’ and ‘Soilent Green’. Both were on cassette. Ten songs were recorded total, with 2 being left off the tapes. I am unsure why, let alone whatever happened to those songs.
In 1991, a 7” vinyl was released that had 4 songs, one being from Soilent Green. The song was “Circle of Death”, which was on side B. The other songs included were, “Waiting in Silence” by Slugs (also on Side B), “World View” by S.I.K., and “Brainwashed Society” by the Detrimentz. Interesting to note, Slugs was the band that Kirk Windstein and Todd Strange were in, before it turned into Crowbar.
In 1992, Soilent Green released a demo, though there is no official art or title for the project. An interesting note about this demo though, is that Donovan Punch had broken his arm the night before, at an Exhorder concert, and couldn’t play guitar. As such, he is only backing vocals. Pizzolato was friends with the guys, and he and his brother listened to a cassette that Punch brought of the recordings, so that they could record the guitar parts from him. This demo was to be released in 7” format by Relapse Records, but it never happened. Years later, the band ended up putting out a handful of releases on the label. This demo would be the last to feature Glenn Rambo, and as far as I know, might have been the last piece of music that he’d ever record.
I’m not sure why, or how, Glenn Rambo ended up leaving Soilent Green, but in 1993, he was replaced with Ben Falgoust. In an interview with Richard Metal Fan, in may of 2023, Ben stated that he’d help Soilent when they’d play shows in the Texas area. He said that there was some kind of situation with their singer at the time, and they parted ways; which later, Ben was offered to join the band.
But I’m not sure what that reason was, let alone what happened to Glenn after that. Between the years of 1992-2005, I have no idea what might have happened in his life, though it doesn’t seem like he created anything musically.
On August 29th, 2005, Glenn passed away, having been found dead in his mother’s home. His ex-girlfriend Stacy, and some National Guardsmen went to his mother’s house, because they hadn’t heard from them since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. The bodies of Glenn and his mother were still in the house. A friend named Melissa posted on the (now defunct, not archived site) nola underground:
“Glenn had a broken leg, and he and his Mom had no car to evacuate. If you know them, you probably know that his family didn’t have much money. I’m not sure where they are going to bury them, or if there are any next-of-kin that could help. Maybe we can all take up a collection to make sure that they are buried properly and have grave markers. I don’t even know how to go about doing something like that. It just makes me sad to think that after we have all lost so much, we are now finding out that we have lost good friends as well. Glenn was an important part of the NOLA scene, and a good friend to many of us. He will be dearly missed, and fondly remembered. -With Love and Sadness, Melissa October 2nd, 2005”
Glenn M. Rambo was buried at Saint Bernard Memorial Gardens, in Chalmette, Louisiana. He was 34.
His mother, Rebecca Anne Roark, was buried in the same location, she was 61 (June 8th, 1944-August 29, 2005). They were survived by family, as listed in their obituaries, which was published by the Time-Picayune, on January 3rd, 2006. Their funerals were on January 4th, 2006.
Glenn’s death was a shock to many, as there are still accounts online which have blogged, or commented about their sadness. One in particular is Paranoize, who was friends with Glenn, and played shows with him in the past.
While Glenn may not have spent that much time on Earth, I believe that it is still important to acknowledge his influence on the music scene. Going through the history of Soilent Green, and the music before that point, it’s clear that his musical endeavors helped form the eventual NOLA sludge scene, which grew to prominence in the ‘90’s. My heart goes out to his friends and family. I can only pay my respects, and say thank you, for everything he made.
Thank you Glenn, may you rest in peace.

200 Followers Celebratory CC Free Sim Dump!!
It's honestly so amazing to me that somehow I made it to 200 followers! You're all so sweet and I appreciate everyone that's taken the time to interact with my posts and I promise I have new stuff in the works that'll be released soon 😉
So, I did this poll to see what everyone would want and it was so fun to hear from so many people thank you everyone who voted! Sim dump was the clear winner!!
Anyway, included are eight cc free young adult sims! They all have set skills and careers because I think it's fun but you can do whatever you want with them as long as you don't change skintones (bonus information about each below the cut as a "guide" because I like coming up with their characters)! I also had too much fun picking out likes and dislikes so... There are a lot 😬
P.S. If in the library it shows up as having cc I swear there isn't any I don't know why my game likes to mark it as having cc even when there isn't I'm sorry for any confusion.
Feel free to tag me if you ever use them and I hope you enjoy!! 😁😁
Download Link [Google Drive]
[Sim info below cut!!]
Parker Daley - Friend of the World, Erratic, Creative, Vegetarian - Bubbly and eccentric Parker is the life of any party! A fashion designer who loves anything "stylish" (which is just anything she likes, pretty much). Parker is completely unpredictable which makes her an interesting companion. A city girl all the way.
Lilah Dumas - Computer Whiz, Cheerful, Geek, Lazy Lilah is a very "you only live once" kind of person. She doesn't spend too much time dwelling on just about anything, and will drop whatever doesn't bring her joy in a heartbeat. As such she was determined to make one of her hobbies into a career, and amassed a decent following for herself as a streamer.
Raj Pandey - Fabulously Wealthy, Perfectionist, Mean, Self-Assured Raj grew up always knowing he'd join the family business, and the atmosphere of wealth and status, as well as the most expensive education obtainable, has turned him into a stuck up character. He appreciates a well crafted insult. In fact, he's not averse to the occasional argument debate (as long as he wins). Despite these traits he's managed to get himself adopted into a group of friends who, though often annoy him, have become an important part of his life.
Sonny Oswald - Friend of the Animals, Socially Awkward, Animal Enthusiast, Neat Sonny is a sweetheart and I love him. Awkward and shy, he's more comfortable around farm animals and plants than he is around people. Only is closest friends get to see how kind and fun he can be. One day he'll move out to the countryside and start is own farm, but for now he's working his way through the gardening career (baby steps, right?).
Lucas Esparza - Nerd Brain, Noncommittal, Bookworm, Adventurous Lucas's two goals in life are to gain infinite amounts of knowledge for himself and leave a trail of broken hearts as he travels the world to get said knowledge. That makes it sound like he's a horrible person which is because... Well he is, but who doesn't need a villain in their game? I'm sure he has his good qualities, however, I honestly love him for being the absolute handful he is.
Keira McDaniel - Painter Extraordinaire, Gloomy, Maker, Music Lover A bit of a "tortured artist" character who enjoys spending hours painting/crafting in her studio with music playing constantly, blocking out the rest of the world. Keira is very sensitive, and feels the emotional weight of everything around her very intensely, channeling it into her art.
Joslyn Lancaster - Country Caretaker, Loves the Outdoors, Athletic, Glutton Joslyn is a very meat and potatoes kind of gal. She lives for the simple things in life, working the ranch, riding horses, and a good meal. It's never occurred to her that there might be more to life, and the world, outside of the ranch, because what more could she need?
Gabrielle "Gabby" Moran - Leader of the Pack, Insider, Snob, Cat Lover Gabby is a fine and polished young woman, growing up in a life of luxury, and the champion English rider in town. She's very aware that she is the best at something, and it's boosted her confidence (*cough* ego) to astronomic levels. Quite the gossip, she loves to be out with friends, gossiping about the latest scandal, but when not there she's tending to her horse and preparing for her next competition. Despite the facade of the popular mean girl she puts up, Gabby cares very deeply about horses and her career, and takes it very seriously. She also loves spending time with the barn cats when they're around.
#sorry this took so long it feels like forever!!#I worked on these sims for so long#that now I'm attached to them!!#okay rambling incoming#the first four I imagine as being a group of friends#because I made them first I don't know#your mind wanders in CAS it can't be helped!#anyway they all had way better compatibility then I expected I definitely didn't think they'd get along with Raj so I was so glad#that they did!#Lucas and Keira I think are just off on their own#and if you saw my post on Joslyn and Gabby you know the concept for them already 😆#I didn't know what to do for my last two sims#but then the trailer for the new ep dropped and I was like#“Ah yes... That's what I'll do”#so they're based off of the English and Western riding styles#and give the vibes of a hallmark movie love that for them#wow that was really long i'm so sorry#thanks so much for reading and hope you enjoy the sims!!#😁😁#sims#sims 4#sims 4 screenshots#sim dump#sim download#sims 4 download#sims 4 dump#ts4#ts4 download#ts4 screenshots#follower gift

Okay I know it’s a tag thingy, but I want to post something while waiting for my art block to pass soooo..!
My top five tv shows:
1. Twin Peaks
I rewatch Twin Peaks every fall. Since 2012. That’s all I have to say about that.
2. The Mandalorian
Started watching it after TLOU because I needed that Pedro fix so badly. It made me fall in love with the SW universe, it made me fall back in love with drawing, it introduced me to fanfiction and helped me cope with very sad and difficult period of my life. I miss my Mando fixation tbh🩶
3. Black Books
I love Dylan Moran! I worked in a bookstore when I watched Black Books for the first time, so yeah😅 Love it dearly, makes me giggle every time.
4. Fleabag
I mean. I watched it as many times as I had my heart broken. Worked like a charm every time. And yes. It does pass. Not to mention I myself had a crush on a priest long long time ago
5. Black Mirror
Especially Channel 4 episodes. But Netflix ones were also very good. The discussions we’d have with friends after watching a new episode? Oh boy.
There you have it! It turned out way more difficult to pick only five huh! So let me add a few honorable mentions: Dark, IT Crowd, Broad City, The Bridge (the original one), Dexter, Pushing Daisies.

Do you have any scar and injury headcanons for the Chaotic Four and the Melodious Quartet?
Chaotic Four Jenkins has electrical scars, cuts, bruises, some broken or sprained body parts that have recovered - he is very clumsy Hugh has no wounds - his species can self heal. Patricia has faded scars plus one around her neck line, limbs, torso, legs, hands, and feet. She didn't get injured there that is just wear she can remove body parts easily since she is undead. Archie has self healing but slower due to Moran's experimentation. He still gets bruises and cuts from his battles as Doctor Arannae plus a few scars. Plus Wedgie burns from his time with Joe. Melodious Quartet Martin has had a bruises, cuts, singed eyebrows, a black eye from his experiments and pissing people off by accident. Melina doesn't have any scaring but can get cuts and bruises from her work. Sapphire has scars and bruises and cuts from her time as a villain, mostly faded now since she quit. Alan..oof. He has a lot of physical and mental injuries and scars. Life on Lexicon is not kind to its inhabitants.

I have finally realised what my major issue with Moran in Moriarty: The Devil's Game was (aside from the heteronormativity and the lack of showing us things (relying more on just telling us) about his more personal relationship with Moriarty (also his accent meaning I couldn't register him as Moran anyway))
I think he went too much into 'cheeky chap'/'amusing sidekick' territory and never really felt believable as a murderer, not even when he actually did murder someone? He didn't really ever feel dangerous? It was another thing they largely kept telling us but not actually showing us, that he was a murderer/assassin/whatever. They told us he was going to be hanged for murder and he'd killed Adair and they told us he was the best shot in the army or whatever but... well for one thing it's kind of hard to convey certain things in just audio (and I think that's another big issue I do have with podcasts and radio plays and stuff overall, that we explicitly have to be told things a lot because we can't see anything, and it does end up feeling like we're being told stuff often with nothing to back these statements up to make them actually believable).
So for instance when they escaped the prison I really couldn't tell what was going on there (apparently he killed the guard with a broken bottle or... something? But by the time I found out what he'd actually done it was just kind of too late for this to have a real impact on his characterisation for me because at the time when it actually mattered I hadn't got a clue what was going on. Or where he was supposed to have shot Watson, it was kind of confusing as hell to me what had just happened there as well until they explicitly spelled it out later (in the next episode in fact, I think) that he'd shot Watson and so he just... never really felt like... this is the guy who is perfectly nice and jovial but if you fuck with him or his professor he will end you. And I get that this was kind of a flipped around take on the canon so it's 'their' version of Moran but they still made Moran a murderer in it, he was still meant to be some kind of killer for hire or something in it, but then he didn't really ever feel dangerous? Even when we were being told yeah he's a killer or he's just shot someone or whatever I just... didn't really buy into that. In fact I bought into this so little I think that in the one instance where (I think) he was meant to have just killed someone in a very cold-blooded way then that felt so cold-blooded he almost felt like a totally different character then. His character didn't feel, well, cohesive to me. Or you know, actually like Moran.

Bill and Ben Moran
So here's my concept for the Clay Pit Twins: Bill and Ben, the youngest sons of Zebedee and Edward, younger brothers of Susannah (OC), Liora (Lady), and Percy, and older brothers of Eve (OC).
Bill and Ben were born on Sodor, having been conceived shortly before Edward's move to the island. As such, although they still love him very much, they have the weakest relationship with their father. Like Percy, Zebedee's absence has caused them to seek out an alternative father-figure. Unlike their brother, they have settled on a single engine: BoCo. Though they would never try to break up their parents' marriage, they can't help but enjoy how well Edward gets on with BoCo.
Always known as troublesome, they have morphed into pure creatures of chaos as they enter their teenage years!
A little on each twin:
Bill:
Real name is William, but will only allow Edward, Ben, and occasionally Zebedee, to call him by that name. Anyone else will be ignored - if they are lucky!
Is actually the younger of the twins.
Is straight.
For some reason, everyone thinks he's the gay one.
As he enters puberty, it is clear that he is taking more after Edward.
Has a huge crush on Nia - proven when, after she addressed him as William, he simply stopped and politely corrected her. Has no idea how to express his feelings.
Knew Ben was gay years before he came out (claiming he knew before Ben did). While he was unsurprised by Connor's rejection, he couldn't help but hate him after seeing Ben so utterly heartbroken.
Ben:
Real name is Benjamin. Unlike Bill, he doesn't actually care, but does think it's pretentious and will behave as such towards anyone who uses it.
The older twin.
Has just recently discovered that he is gay.
Everyone thinks he's the straight one.
Puberty will lead him to become a little bulkier than Bill and more like Zebedee. Currently manifested as him being a bit chubby.
Fell head over heels with Connor, but had his heart broken when the older engine - having tried to let him down gently - brutally rejected him.
Is completely aware of Bill's feelings for Nia and is trying to figure out how to bring them together as he thinks she will be good for his brother.

The Entity Haunting
On a sunny afternoon in 1974, parapsychologists Barry Taff and Kerry Gaynor were browsing in Hunter’s Bookstore in Westwood when they met a woman whom they assumed was probably crazy. She told them of a particularly violent ghost that was making her life hell. She desperately wanted help. The case would become world famous when it was recounted in The Entity starring Barbara Hershey, released in 1981.
Taff and Gaynor were students at U.C.L.A., working in the psychology department and specializing in, of all things, ghost hunting. Toiling under the famous parapsychologist Dr. Thelma Moss, who had headed many research projects in Kirlian photography, Taff and Gaynor had learned to take most claims about the paranormal with a grain of salt. In spite the sensationalized-sounding nature of a woman’s story, they decided to visit her home, in Culver City, just a few miles south of the campus.
When Dorris Bider (usually referred to as Calra Moran) told them about an evil presence who had sexually assaulted and beat her repeatedly late at night, the investigators politely excused themselves; they had a good laugh in the car on their way back to Westwood. They weren’t laughing when she called a few days later and said that others had seen the apparition as well. “This is what we’re always looking for-independent verification of the phenomena,” said Gaynor during an interview published in Omni magazine.
On their next visit, Taff and Gaynor were standing in the kitchen talking to Bider when one of the lower cupboards opened and a heavy skillet flew across the room and hit a wall. They tried to get pictures of small orbs of light that they observed traveling around the house, but when they were developed, the photos showed nothing out of the ordinary. At one point, Bider told Gaynor that the ghost was right in front of her, so he snapped a picture. In it, Bider’s face was blurred and appeared to be obscured by something. Another picture taken seconds later did not manifest the same anomaly. When Gaynor pointed the camera in a corner where the witness said the ghost was at the time, there was another blurred area. The investigators decided to return with reinforcements.
The two students loaded up their equipment and called a few photographers they knew who could provide independent observations and possibly capture any manifestations on film. In all, seventeen people crowded into Bider’s bedroom as she asked the spirit to show itself. Green balls of light appeared and began to fly around the room. In one famous image, a photographer captured what appeared to be streaks of light arching around Bider’s head. She then asked the figure to show itself, and the speechless group watched as a “greenish white” form began to materialized in a corner. All present agreed that the figure looked male and appeared to be muscular. If any pictures of this manifestation survive, they are out of circulation.
On another occasion, Bider’s sixteen-year-old son heard his mother screaming in her bedroom; he burst in, trying to stop another assault. He was struck violently in the head before he could reach her and was thrown back, breaking his arm. Curiously, when the scene was re-created in the movie, the actor playing the son also had an arm broken and a curtain was mysteriously torn from top to bottom.
During a subsequent visit, the investigators covered the walls with black poster board and numbered the panels. Gaynor relates, “The lights appeared. I would call out, ‘All right, blink three times on board number two for yes. Blink twice on board number five for no.’ It would blink on the exact board that I asked it to. At that point, the level of excitement really increased, because it seemed like we were communicating with something intelligent.
“But I was very concerned that somebody was faking it by projecting light onto the wall. So I said to it, ‘If you’re really here, come off the wall.’ I didn’t think anything would happen. But then the lights pulled right out of the wall and floated into the middle of the room. It started spinning and twisting and expanding in different directions simultaneously. I had nine professional photographers shooting every angle of that room.
“It was extraordinary because it was floating in the middle of the room and the light was dimensional. It is very difficult to fake something like that. If you project light, you have to project it onto a flat surface. You can’t project light into empty space unless you have some kind of very sophisticated laser system.”
Bider claimed that there were three entities in the house. Two smaller ones would generally hold her down while the third one would assaulted her. After months of abuse, she and her son moved out to try to escape the terror at the house. As is typical in these cases, the haunting followed her. As time went on, however, the activity devolved into simple poltergeist manifestations, and it eventually petered out. Bider moved to Texas and at least report, was in her sixties and suffering from pancreatic cancer. After leaving the Los Angeles area, she shunned all publicity.

The Child Thief (2009)
Peter is quick, daring, and full of mischief—and like all boys, he loves to play, though his games often end in blood. His eyes are sparkling gold, and when he graces you with his smile you are his friend for life, but his promised land is not Neverland. Fourteen-year-old Nick would have been murdered by the drug dealers preying on his family had Peter not saved him. Now the irresistibly charismatic wild boy wants Nick to follow him to a secret place of great adventure, where magic is alive and you never grow old. Even though he is wary of Peter's crazy talk of faeries and monsters, Nick agrees. After all, New York City is no longer safe for him, and what more could he possibly lose? There is always more to lose. Accompanying Peter to a gray and ravished island that was once a lush, enchanted paradise, Nick finds himself unwittingly recruited for a war that has raged for centuries—one where he must learn to fight or die among the "Devils," Peter's savage tribe of lost and stolen children. There, Peter's dark past is revealed: left to wolves as an infant, despised and hunted, Peter moves restlessly between the worlds of faerie and man. The Child Thief is a leader of bloodthirsty children, a brave friend, and a creature driven to do whatever he must to stop the "Flesh-eaters" and save the last, wild magic in this dying land.
Krampus: The Yule Lord (2012)
One Christmas Eve in a small hollow in Boone County, West Virginia, struggling songwriter Jesse Walker witnesses a strange spectacle: seven devilish figures chasing a man in a red suit toward a sleigh and eight reindeer. When the reindeer leap skyward, taking the sleigh, devil men, and Santa into the clouds, screams follow. Moments later, a large sack plummets back to earth, a magical sack that thrusts the down-on-his-luck singer into the clutches of the terrifying Yule Lord, Krampus. But the lines between good and evil become blurred as Jesse's new master reveals many dark secrets about the cherry-cheeked Santa Claus, including how half a millennium ago the jolly old saint imprisoned Krampus and usurped his magic. Now Santa's time is running short, for the Yule Lord is determined to have his retribution and reclaim Yuletide. If Jesse can survive this ancient feud, he might have the chance to redeem himself in his family's eyes, to save his own broken dreams, . . . and to help bring the magic of Yule to the impoverished folk of Boone County.
