Dodge Charger III
The success of the Charger-inspired the Chrysler designers to develop the idea of a Dodge performance model. The original Charger had power, performance, and countless racing wins. But it was still a big, heavy, and non-aerodynamic muscle machine. However, the 1968 Charger III concept was something quite different. The Charger III was no longer a muscle car, but a pure two-seater sports machine. It had compact dimensions, a low profile, a low weight, and several unusual features.
For example, instead of conventional doors, the whole top of the car opened to allow access to the interior. Also, the steering column tilted along with the steering wheel to make entry more comfortable. On the back of the car, there were massive airbrakes. In fact, they were similar to the ones on airplanes that deploy under heavy braking. Unfortunately, since the whole car was extremely futuristic, it was doomed from real production.

Next, you need to check the availability of the parts before moving ahead. You need to see if the parts are available or not. It will help to look at different components or a series of methods before looking at other things. Once you have an accurate idea about the availability of the parts, you need to get the ones that best suit your needs. If you are unsure how to access or procure the parts, you should select the one that is in line with your needs.

It's super rad that there's a car on the moon. Those astronauts left it up there for the next guy, mostly because the tow truck bill would've killed them. Of course, you can't drive it, but you also can't drive most of my cars, and they're on Good Old Mother Earth.
In a lot of ways, this plan was brilliant for NASA. People might hit the snooze button when they hear about exploring new worlds, but a new kind of car? Holy shit. News is gonna be wall to wall "space car" stories and op-eds.
That's why I was so surprised to hear that NASA isn't making a new kind of space car for the return to the moon. They're gonna leave it to Toyota, presumably because we surrendered to their automotive industry decades ago and are just unwilling to admit it. Cowardice. Defeatism isn't their style, or at least it wasn't until they put these milksop bean-counters in charge of the program. Put my ass in charge of NASA, and I promise you that you will receive only the most ridiculous lunar rovers the universe has ever seen.
Astronauts deserve to travel in luxury. If, for some made-up reason of "mission performance" or "launch weight limits," they can't have luxury, they should at least have style. And if they can't have style, they should at least have an iron-block Mopar Slant Six residing inside an all-titanium, precision-laser-cut replica of a 1981 Dodge St. Regis.
What's that? There's no air on the moon? That's okay, because a teeny-tiny nuclear reactor built into the oil pan (there's definitely enough room) will give them all the pep in their step they will ever need or want. Someone else can work on the brakes, do I have to do everything around here?

Chrysler 300H
The 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst is a limited-edition unicorn that offers performance, luxury, size, and exclusivity. With a length of over 18 feet, it earns a place in history as one of the longest luxury performance coupes of all time. Chrysler 300 Hurst’s origin is shrouded in mystery. The car was assembled at Chrysler’s Jefferson Avenue plant in Detroit, Mich. It was shipped 600 miles east to Warminster, Penn. for completion.Hurst bolted on a distinctive satin tan fiberglass-skinned hood with 300H emblems and a fiberglass trunk lid with an integrated spoiler. There’s no mistaking a 300H on the street because the car was only available in Spinnaker White, with orange and brown tape stripes embellishing the flanks. Oddly, the cars were not equipped with Hurst shifters.Safe to say, there’s nothing like the 300 Hurst’s magnificent interior in the muscle car world. The designers swiped the gorgeous overstuffed tan leather seating from the Imperial. It’s as if someone stuffed a living room sofa into a Charger.
Every 300 Hurst edition left the factory with Mopar’s well-proven 440 cubic-inch V-8 and a heavy-duty TorqueFlite 727 three-speed automatic transmission. The air-cleaner housing proudly carried a TNT designation.
With a four-barrel carburetor, the TNT 440 engine had a 375-horsepower rating with 480 pound-feet of torque. The 300H’s V-8 wedge is identical to Plymouth’s Super Commando 440 and Dodge’s 440 Magnum. Slap on a decal and boom: It’s a TNT.
With the standard 3.23 gears out back, the 300 Hurst delivered 0-60 MPH times in 7.1 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 15.3 seconds. Its speed with more aggressive gearing and stickier tires is anyone’s guess.

1970 Plymouth GTX
The 1970 Plymouth GTX: A Muscle Car Powerhouse
The 1970 Plymouth GTX was a high-performance muscle car that epitomized the era's love for power and style. As part of the B-body platform, it shared its underpinnings with other Mopar heavy hitters like the Road Runner and Charger.
A Focus on Performance
Powerful Engines: The GTX was available with a range of potent V8 engines, including the 383, 440, and the legendary 426 Hemi. These engines, coupled with performance-oriented transmissions, delivered exhilarating acceleration.
Suspension and Handling: While primarily focused on straight-line speed, the GTX benefited from improvements in suspension and handling over previous years, making it a more capable car on the road.
Distinctive Styling
Bold Appearance: The 1970 GTX featured a muscular and aggressive stance, with a prominent grille and hidden headlights.
Performance Cues: Visual cues like the hood scoop and dual exhaust tips hinted at the car's performance capabilities.
A Collector's Dream
Due to its limited production and impressive performance, the 1970 Plymouth GTX has become a highly sought-after collector car. Well-preserved examples command substantial values.

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Drag Car Unearthed
By Dave Ashton
Since its launch in 1969, the Dodge Challenger Muscle Car has made a huge impact on the American auto scene, from its powerful engines and fast acceleration times to its flashy colors. It even took on the track at the Trans-Am Championship, paving the way for the limited-edition Challenger T/A model. After decades in hiding, the pearl white Challenger is up and running again and boasts an incredible 426 HEMI V8 engine from the original 440cu V8.
Restoring a vintage Dodge Challenger isn’t easy, especially if you aim to stay as close to period correct as possible. Luckily, Kelly, Ziggy Wyso’s granddaughter, and her husband have done just that. The 426 HEMI V8 they chose for their project was sourced from another 1970 Mopar vehicle, making it an authentic part of the Challenger’s muscle car era. As such, it’s quite a rare commodity since only 875 Challengers were fitted with the 440 Four Barrel, 296 with the 440 Six Pack and 60 with the 426 HEMI – all in the year 1970.
From the outside, this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T looks as good as it did back during its racing days. With its custom hood scoop, huge wheels and half vinyl top, not to mention the black snake skin patterned stripes, the car stands out from the crowd. That said, the interior still remains mostly stock, with the exception of the missing rear seats.
It’s clear that Kelly and her husband have poured their hearts into their project, and their Dodge Challenger Muscle Car is now a shining example of what can be done with a classic. It’s no surprise that many are drawn to its beautiful form and incredible engine, both of which make it the perfect ride for cruising the streets or hitting the drag strip. Check it out for yourself in the video below and see why this Dodge Challenger is one of the most desirable models out there.
The restored Challenger is truly a sight to behold, and its power and performance are even more impressive. Thanks to the HEMI V8, the car can reach speeds of up to 150 mph, making it a formidable force on the track. The car is also equipped with a four-speed transmission, Dana 60 rear axle, and heavy-duty suspension, making it a unique ride among Mopar enthusiasts.
The Challenger still has a few small details that need to be addressed before it’s back to its original state, but Kelly and her husband are determined to keep the restoration correct and true to the car’s spirit. It’s clear that this duo has put a lot of effort and love into the project, and it has certainly paid off.
The Dodge Challenger Muscle Car is a true classic, and it’s easy to see why it has gained such a large fan base over the years. Its powerful engines, muscular good looks and limitless possibilities make it a truly unique ride that will continue to fascinate enthusiasts for years. For those lucky enough to have one, there’s no doubt that each Challenger has its own special story – and Kelly and her husband’s story is certainly a memorable one.
