Here are the first four portraits I did, next part will include Eloise, Ivan, Raphael and Neil 👀

This time I didn't include any commentary since I didn't change much of their designs but feel free to tell me any of your headcanons for the rest of the characters I might include them in the next drawings 🤲🏼👀

hi there! ok, my request might be a bit strange, but: what would the guys in moonlight lovers be like as modern young people? i mean., knowing the seven adults who are in the age range from 30 to 2380 y/o, their personalities, styles and how they relate to each other, let's change the canon. 8 university students (including MC), living together in a dorm, studying different majors.

what do they study? how do they dress? what kind of young people are they? what are their tastes? i'm intrigued by the youth version of Vladimir, Neil or Aaron in the 21st century. i ask it as headcanons, but if you are more comfortable with an OS, whatever💗!

AARON

Before going to university, he was just a regular student who passed stuff but without being brilliant at it. That’s fine for him, he didn’t want to get straight A’s but he didn’t want to fail either. He just wanted to do what he enjoyed.

His grades on math, history and sport are effortlessly good, getting all A’s. But that’s why he likes practical stuff instead of those subjects that have a lot of theory to memorize. History is an exception for him though. He likes to learn about past times.

It's canon already that his handwriting is a mess, but not only that, his notes ARE a mess.

When he reached university, he decided to study something that allowed him to be practical and to memorize less theory. This man loves both human and animal biology. He loves animals. That’s why he was raised with a few dogs who he took care of with all the love of his life. So he decided to study in a Veterinary school to specialize to be a veterinary surgeon.

He doesn’t like seeing animals in pain, and more than once during the practices he had to leave the room because it was too much for him to see an animal in pain. 

Aaron is good with animals and has all the patience when it comes to stand the smelly and noisy environments of farm animals (because veterinary surgeons are usually the ones in charge of diagnosing and treating domestic pets, farm animals, zoo animals and horses). He also knows how to keep animals calm and expects to be attacked more than once as they are also nervous living beings.

He had to move from the camp to a dorm in the city to be near that vet school and do his 5 or 6 years of major, which he achieved to do for his passion in healing and taking care of animals.

In that dorm he got really close to Raphael and Vladimir since they two were calm and had a lot of interesting stuff to talk about with Aaron. He also got along with Ivan since he sometimes needed help with math or other subjects (also some life advice). With Beliath things got slightly different and he got a mate to go drink with after work since they worked in the same restaurant for a few months.

To pay the rent and also his own needs he got to work in several places. 

His job career started by working in a restaurant, in which he worked for a few years. The first years living in the dorm he worked with Beliath in another restaurant, as mentioned before, but he decided to change and work in an Ikea after it.

He’s a big fan of music and some mythological literature. And when he gets to see some shows on Netflix thanks to Ethan, he becomes obsessed with Blood of Zeus (same). They all pay for Netflix together, the ones who use it at least.

About music… I hc he likes imagine dragons, hozier, adele, abba and glass animals. He got some influence from Ivan and Ethan and started liking Avenged Sevenfold, even if it’s not the kind of music he’d actually listen to.

He is the taxi driver for Ivan, Raphael and Vladimir. 

He doesn’t use his phone too much, and ALWAYS has the volume on. He doesn’t know how to use social media, only twitter and only because Ivan showed him. He is a dry texter and probably uses the thumbs up emoji 98% of the time.

He has a simple style and doesn't put much effort on it, as long as it is comfortable for him. He doesn't really like colorful stuff to wear.

BELIATH

This guy had to repeat a whole year of high school because he didn't put his effort at all. He wanted to have fun instead, making friends and going to parties, so he skipped classes to go somewhere with Ethan and other people, or maybe he was simply going through a terrible hangover. 

He is the kind of guy who is effortlessly smart but has no interest since he finds studying boring. He is too good at biology and physics though. When he repeated the year, he started getting very good grades at those two subjects because he decided to put in a little bit of effort just because Ethan motivated him. He basically got told “if you don't get a job of something you do enjoy, you will be enslaved in a restaurant and will suffer.”

Every challenge for him is accepted. So he will search for a restaurant or bar to work in to challenge himself. He would meet Aaron there and after it go to get some beers after their night switch.

He worked in a nightclub but got kicked after flirting with his customers. Sigh…

His grades were mainly Bs but he got As on biology thanks to his big knowledge<3.

He got stressed when he had to pick a career and didn’t really have it sure, he just decided to study something related to biology and did deep research to see what was more amusing for him. So he decided to pick simply biology, and then end up working as a pharmacologist, which seemed interesting and not so hard for him.

Still, he did not finish the major because he got tired of the same routine. Then he dropped but begged Vladimir to stay in the dorm now that he found a little family to live with.

He knew Ethan from the same work and thanks to Aaron they both could get into the dorm due to the need of being somewhere close to the universities where they did study.

Beliath loves to travel a lot and whenever he has a holiday, he goes on spontaneous trips to other cities or countries. He definitely has been to Spain, Poland, Finland, Italy, Norway and Germany. He aims to travel further and visit other continents as well. He would love to go to Canada and Australia.

He is a big Lady Gaga fan and has gone to concerts of her. His insta stories were a big evidence of how he yelled and vibed to it. Next day he had no voice.

He also likes Britney Spears, Bad Omens, Melanie Martinez, Michael Bublé, Childish Gambino, Ricky Martin…

He is always calling for taxis, and definitely late to everywhere he has to go.

He is pretty obsessed with his phone to send tiktoks and shit to Ethan. His messages are good to understand, he uses the typical :) and :P, uses lol and lmao a lot and definitely answers to stuff with memes… cringe memes… Ivan teases him for that…

Has a very well organized spotify for each mood of his day. And he has NO shame in putting up nasty ahh songs every time he showers and sing them out loud.

He posts suggestive pics on twitter… yet his instagram is very friendly. He still receives flirty messages from people because he is always handsome in his pics. He posts the worst pics he has of Ethan too though.

He probably has an onlyfans.

Big eurovision fan.

Casual yet formal and attractive.

VLADIMIR

He had to put effort on classes no matter what since his family was pretty strict with that topic. Still, he developed the habit of using his free time to study something so he didn’t forget the topics and he was able to understand the lesson better. He even went to a language academy thanks to his parents, where he discovered a big passion for learning languages. He started with French and then learnt Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, German, Italian… and he definitely knows a little bit of Russian and Arabic.

The subjects he enjoyed the most were English literature, history and language. He got all As except in sport, since he has had a weak physical condition since young.

Deep inside he never wanted to focus all his time on studying, yet he obeyed his parents. He didn’t plan on going to college and he was forced to get into a computer science major since it is the most advantageous university major. But he did NOT like it at all.

Even if in this AU he has grown in the technology century, he still does not like it at all, even if he owns a phone. He owns it, but never uses it. 

Even though he comes from a rich family, he decided to produce his money from a very young age with the idea of being independent sooner. He worked as a dog walker, as a teacher for younger kids that needed help with school, as someone to take care of the gardens of his neighbours… And thanks to this last job, he found out how much peace he got from being surrounded by flowers.

As soon as he turned 18, he moved into a dorm and searched for more roommates so the rent was cheaper and he didn’t have to explode himself that much. That’s how he met the other guys.

He didn’t finish the computer science major, he didn’t want it at all. He changed then into a horticultural science degree which he enjoyed the most and really had him in a good mood instead of studying something he didn’t like at all. During the years of the degree he achieved to open a flower shop in the city! 

It was notorious the amount of effort and excitement he put into his small business, which helped him for the economy. His flower shop is really well organized by types of flowers and their colors, then he has a section for medicinal and legal herbs, and a section of tools for gardening. He also made a catalogue for those spiritual people who believe in the meanings of each flower (and he explained it truly well in there). 

After the major, he went to a small course of herbs and then, once he was bored of not doing anything, he decided to do a major in a literature major, which he also truly enjoyed.

He has gone on small trips with Beliath… and not because he was going to enjoy the company of Beliath, but because he wanted to see the world.

Aaron, Raphael and him traveled to Egypt and enjoyed it a lot. Vladimir received a lot of calls from Ivan because Ethan and Beliath were making chaos in the dorm… He made video calls with Ivan to explain what they did on the day, just like a father-son relationship.

He has a blog where he writes his own self, expressing himself through writing. With this I mean that he posts poems and short narrative stories. He is planning to write a book :). But he also does book and movie reviews! Because he only likes seeing movies whenever Ethan, Aaron or Ivan are going to (as long as it isn’t terror). 

He has his own garden in the dorm and had to argue Ethan a lot to avoid getting weed plants in his PRECIOUS garden.

He likes classical music and jazz, not rock or noisy stuff. He likes Mitski, Amy Winehouse, some songs of beabadoobee and not much from the actual era. He prefers classical playlists that can be easily found on youtube…

Whenever he texts someone, it seems more like a letter from the 15th century than a casual message.

He keeps his style as formal as he can, no matter the context. He doesn't even care if his dressing code seems old for the century, he likes it and that's what matters.

RAPHAEL

As he grew up, he wasn’t a blind kid, so he had the chance to see the world around him and find out his passion for art. He is a person that truly does admire the effort of artists, writers and musicians. So even if everything in school went well for him, literature and art subjects always went good for him due to the extra passion he placed on it.

He begged his parents to get classic books to read and some of them mainly focused on art, finding a true devotion for art history.

He was a big fan of Raffaello Sanzio, getting some of his paintings in his bedroom such as The School of Athens. He also got some paintings to decorate the walls of his bedroom such as The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, Mystic Nativity by Botticelli…

He really wanted to study art history and be able to teach people about historical paintings. Not only that but he went to an academy to learn deeply about the methods to paint on canvas, since he also liked that kind of stuff. He sold his own paintings for not much money, but simply to get something. He even did some commissions to people around him that needed it.

Raphael has an old twitter account where he posted his art and offered commissions to others.

since in this AU vampires aren’t seen, I’m gonna change a little bit of his canon history. In this AU, the way Raphael got blind was due to a car accident on a trip with his friends, where Margarita was human and she unluckily died. 

He went to university late since he decided to first recover from the emotional shock and the depression he got sinked in. After it he decided to learn braille, and luckily he didn’t find it so hard, so he needed only weeks to be able to read, even if it was at a slow pace. He devoured braille books thanks to this, so it was a plus that he got to finish some books he had on his list since long ago.

He wanted to do something with his life that wasn’t simply reading in braille and being careful whenever he went outside to not get hurt. 

If he couldn’t see and analyze more paintings, thing that saddened him, he could rely on the musician side of him. He decided to focus on his musician side and improve his skills, now that his hearing would be the most developed sense in his body after touch.

He decided to get into a major in music theory and composition, where he was able to express himself thanks to music.

Thanks to Ivan he was able to find out about audiobooks, so whenever he decided to lie down and rest, he heard an audiobook of any book Vladimir told him about. He also listens to podcasts and some of them about philosophy, which he finds truly interesting.

He likes soft music such as jazz, something that is calm and it isn’t too loud for him.

Every time he goes out with Aaron and Vladimir, he takes a grip in any of their arms to not get lost. Then they three go to drink a coffee and talk about some stuff related to their lives.

He is the therapist friend… If you want a school motivation speech, he knows how to give it properly. He is good at teaching other people, listening to them and advice them.

To pay the rent he luckily got to work in a library, which he loved as it was almost always quiet. But years later he got to do his own compositions and thanks to Ivan, post them on some platforms to get money from his effort!

Vladimir would hire him in his shop :3

We know he is a sweetheart, so he gets along with everyone in the dorm, adapting to their likes. Whenever Ethan watches crime documentaries, he listens to it with all the attention.

He owns a phone but doesn’t use it, only to answer the calls of others.

When Vladimir or Beliath go to buy some clothes, he always asks them to pick something nice yet comfortable for him to wear in home. He definitely has the cutest style of all of them.

ETHAN

He is a regular student with regular grades who barely puts effort on it but never fails. He is the clown classmate, and many people can’t stand him, but he is smart. During class he puts attention only on those stuff he finds interesting, which is biology and maths. He dislikes history but is really good at it.

He skipped some classes to go smoke something with his group of friends or to go gossip somewhere with Beliath.

He put effort the last year before university just because he started finding interest in being a doctor thanks to some shows he watched on Netflix. So he was pretty clear on choosing a major in medicine.

And he achieved it! He surprisingly put a lot of effort on it because he wanted to take good advantage of those years. But that doesn’t stop him from going to a party and having an exam the next day…

Still, he was passionate about the idea of being a doctor, so he tried pulling for jobs in hospitals mainly. The first years there was no response, but later he managed to get into a hospital as a clinical radiologist. He often took pics of some broken bones of his patients and sent them to Ivan or Beliath… (ivan is traumatized)

He goes to parties with a black eyeliner which makes him fucking gothic n handsome because he loves it. He isn’t an edgy like Ivan, he is just a low level of punk. He loves to wear rings and a unique dressing code.

He has a spotify playlist with anime openings which he vibes to. And it is thanks to Ivan actually.

Ethan worked as a delivery man for certain companies before being a clinical radiologist, as he knows how to drive a motorcycle. 

Definitely dyed his hair several times.

Loves to take the guys to Finland so they can go skiing whenever they are bored. He loves adrenaline and those adventures which makes him feel it constantly.

He absolutely adores crime documentaries and terror movies. 

He has a few tattoos around his body, and some of them were even made when he went to some parties. He won’t have many tattoos that actually mean something to him.

During his free time he plays some of the games he has on steam, and you can also tell that the soundtrack of any game or movie he likes, will be on his playlist. He has a small library on steam and the games which have more hours are definitely risk of rain 2, terraria and devil may cry. Even though he plays lethal company with Ivan and other friends. He simply pays for those games he knows he will like.

Loves slipknot, glass animals, the neighbourhood, onerepublic… and basically anything that has him humming the melody afterwards.

His twitter is filled with memes and definitely things that will get him into a cancellation thread… he has to learn to shut the fuck up more often.

His instagram is made in revenge to Beliath, where he posts the worst pics of him. He has no fear in posting funny videos with Ivan, Aaron, Beliath and other friends. Even though he got scolded by Vladimir when he heard that Ethan posted a video of Vladimir talking to his roses in the garden and writing on a corner “he’s becoming psychotic”.

Probably opens a youtube channel to post vlogs, paranormal videos in which he goes to explore random places, tasting weird food…

IVAN

He is the kind of student who sometimes puts his effort but unluckily doesn’t get the grade he expected. He isn’t the best student, but he isn’t the worst. He hates the idea of needing the help of others to understand some subjects, but at the end he feels like he doesn’t know anything after studying almost all the noon. 

He was mostly late to class and that was because of Loic and him going to parties as teens (Constance joined most of times, yeah…), so he had hangover most of the times. Luckily that only was his teen years until he met Ethan near his campus and got a new friend group. Even if Ethan dragged him to parties, it was a way more healthy than with Loic and Constance.

His best grades were mainly on language and technology, maths and other shit were much lower than he ever expected. Still, he decided to do something he was more excited about: studying a major in computer science.

Even though the first months he found it difficult to be organized and did see it as a must, he learnt to like what he was doing and he became really passionate about the practical part.

It was currently something interesting for him as he was in constant touch with computers, a thing that he truly enjoyed.

He worked in a McDonald’s to pay the rent, and thanks to his knowledge through the years on the major, he was able to work in one of those stores where you can fix your computer and stuff. He enjoys it and he knows how to set up a computer piece by piece.

Edgy and freaky tastes in music huh. He goes from my chemical romance, slipknot, deftones, mindless self indulgence to The living tombstone, some k-pop groups (I need to make someone like aespa in here, but he also is an og EXO fan), and game soundtracks…

His steam acc is definitely filled with games, and some of them haven’t been touched yet. He spent all of his credit card in most parts of the games… (He is proud even if Vladimir and Aaron aren’t)

He is also an emo with his dressing code. 2010 emo vibes but modern at the same time… Vladimir has to scold him every now and then so he can wear something decent and regular to go to public spaces, but he doesn't actually have formal clothes actually… only the job ones..

He is a big jojo fan. He made Ethan and forced Aaron to watch jjba. He is always talking about jojo references and everyone around him see him as a weirdo -he is-

Bro is obsessed with brawl stars.

His twitter is filled with literally shitpost, just as his instagram. 

He and Ethan decided to share the youtube channel so both of them had the chance to do their craziness ft. Beliath around there.

Vladimir :

Even though he boasts to Beliath that he knew how to seduce when he was human, it's not true. He was so unused to being courted that he had no idea how to react. What's more, even if his babbling and blushing were very cute when he was trying to ask someone to dance, women never accepted and the few who did did so out of fear of seeing him alone for most of the evening.

At first, he had a bit of trouble understanding what you were doing. You spent a lot of time with him, joking and chatting, and you asked him personal questions that he didn't dare answer - why did you ask him these questions anyway? He felt too mistrustful to answer. He understood that you were trying to get something from him without knowing what. It was Beliath who pointed out to him that you were flirting with him. But, his first reaction was to think that it was impossible.

He doesn't really know how to react; for one thing, he's long since got used to the idea of not being particularly attractive, so he thinks you're just trying to annoy him or make fun of him by hitting on him. He waits suspiciously for the moment when you tell him that you only did it to make fun of him. It therefore takes a little time for him to understand that you're sincere. And when he finally realises that you're attracted to him, he loses his nerve in a matter of moments.

He hardly dares to look you in the eye when you flirt with him and he stares at a point behind you or at the ground, blushing. It's always quite amusing to see and you never tire of it. He still finds it a little hard to believe your compliments and the attention you give him, but he's so happy that someone like you can find him interesting.

He tries to play your game, but he's not the best at it. It takes all his concentration to ask you to dance without stammering, but that doesn't stop him blushing. He gives you flowers but prefers to write a note with the bouquet rather than speak aloud.

One night, you asked Vladimir to recommend a book he liked to spend a long rainy night locked up in the manor. As well as being a good way to occupy your time, it was also a good opportunity to discover your vampire's literary preferences. Vladimir was standing right above you on the ladder, looking for the book he wanted to pass to you. You couldn't deny it, it was a bit difficult to stay focused on what he was saying and not be totally obsessed by his body. But you managed.

When he came down the ladder with the book he wanted to lend you, your hand grazed his back. Vladimir didn't try to pull away and blushed before handing you the book.

"This is Northanger Abbey. The book is quite small and it's a really nice read. It's one of my favourites. The story is simpler than Pride and Prejudice, but I think Catherine is lovely.

You took the book in one hand while with the other you gently grabbed one of his. Vladimir glanced at you briefly, but when he saw your mischievous smile he looked away, turning even redder, seriously, you're making him lose all his nerve.

-Thanks for the book. I'll let you know what I think as soon as I've finished reading it," you replied.

You leaned in a little and gently kissed his cheek without letting go of his hand. He didn't say anything, too surprised to react, but he felt his face burning and his legs going wobbly. When you raised your head and smiled, pleased with his reaction, he looked away, too embarrassed to look at you.

-I… I… hope you like it…" stammered Vladimir.

-I'm sure of it."

You left just after that and he watched you leave the room out of the corner of his eye before gently bringing his hand to the cheek you'd kissed and sitting down on the floor. It was like one of those romances he reads so often, he felt a bit ridiculous reacting that way, but even if he wanted to he couldn't react any other way.

Béliath :

Béliath has always loved flirting. He thinks it's great fun to do, and he knows he's very attractive, so he plays it up a lot when it comes to seduction. However, he's not always deliberately flirtatious and is sometimes accused of being too flirtatious when that wasn't his aim at all. This was his big problem when he arrived at the manor, because he still lacked many of the human social codes.

He has no trouble understanding that you're flirting with him. Firstly, because it would be the last straw for an incubus not to feel that someone is attracted to him and secondly, because he knows that he is handsome and it seems obvious to him that no one can resist his charm. He likes to see that you want to spend time with him, that you're looking for excuses to be near him, to touch him, that you're interested in what he likes and what he does.

He wastes no time in playing your game. Flirting is great fun for him and he knows how to seduce. He'll touch your hand as he hands you something and you can tell from his charming smile that he's done it on purpose, he'll gently caress your back as he walks behind you. He's interested in what you do and what you like, constantly coming to see you at the parties he organises at the manor.

When your hand grazes his "by accident", he doesn't miss the opportunity to caress it too. He loves to watch you dance, whether at the Moondance or at the parties he organises at the manor, and he knows you're doing it to attract his attention because of the charming smiles you always give him.

This evening, you went out to the cinema to watch a horror film face to face. Of course, it's a bit of a cliché, but the more you flirted with him, the more you noticed that Béliath loves clichés. You were sitting next to each other sharing the same bag of popcorn, an idea of Beliath's here, and strangely enough you tended to dip into the bag of popcorn at the same time - you might think it was a coincidence if the smile on your half-incubus's face didn't say otherwise.

Occasionally you glanced over to watch him and more than once your eyes met, neither of you really concentrating on the film. You'd already tried a successful rapprochement at the beginning of the film by clinging to his arm during a "scary" scene, of course you weren't really scared, you chose the film knowing full well that it wouldn't scare you, but your aim was to get closer to Beliath, so horror films are perfect for that. Beliath suspected as much, but he still took your hand to 'reassure' you and you couldn't deny it, the feeling of your hand in his was most pleasant.

Emboldened by your victory, you had a new idea and in a new "scary" scene you hid your face in his shoulder and let out a little fearful moan, amused by your reaction Beliath put an arm around your shoulders to pull you closer to him. You smiled contentedly before settling more comfortably against him.

You spent the rest of the film in this position and when you left the cinema you held on to his arm to walk and hung around town until it was time to go back to the manor. The way back seemed very short to both of you, despite the hour-long walk ahead of you.

When you got home, Beliath walked you back to your room. In front of your room, he caressed your cheek with a charming smile before leaning in a little to whisper to you.

"Don't hesitate to come and see me in my room if you get scared during the day.

-It might happen sooner than you think," you replied immediately before kissing him on the corner of the lips. Sleep well, Beliath."

Ivan :

He's never been a good flirt. He always gets confused about what he wants to say and it's easy to see that he's totally lacking in self-confidence. As he doesn't find himself particularly attractive, he always finds it a little hard to understand that anyone could be attracted to him, even more so since he's been living at the manor. He lives surrounded by Apollo, seriously, who could be attracted to him after seeing his housemates?! His lack of self-confidence means he often misses obvious signs.

He doesn't immediately understand that you're flirting with him. He doesn't have the self-confidence to believe that someone as pretty as you could be interested in a vampire like him. Are you sure you're not attracted to Aaron or Beliath instead? If they were you, they'd be after them. Ivan didn't dare believe it at first and it took a bit more encouragement from Raphaël for him to dare to play your game.

He doesn't really know how to pick you up, but he tries because he's also attracted to you. More often than not, he'll invite you into his bedroom so that you can play video games or watch films together. He especially likes to get you to play cooperative games.

You make him blush very easily. You only have to put your head on his shoulder while you're watching a film for him to turn as red as a crayfish. The last time you told him he was pretty, he mumbled a barely understandable thank you and couldn't look you in the eye for several minutes afterwards.

That evening, you went out with Ivan to the funfair in town. Despite the fears of the other boys in the manor about Ivan's ability to control himself in the midst of so many humans. You wandered through the stalls, clinging to each other's arms so as not to be separated by the crowd. You were both feeling good, Ivan was so relaxed that he wasn't bothered about the humans around you, and you were planning to take advantage of this moment together to get closer to him. You wandered around the stands and rode several rides, until Ivan's gaze met a cuddly toy on the darts stand. Ivan shook your arm and pointed at the cuddly toy.

"MC! MC! Look at her! It's Mimiqui! It's Mimiqui!

You didn't have time to say anything before he pulled you towards the stand with him. Ivan looked at it like Gollum looks at the ring. And you couldn't deny that the cuddly toy was pretty good, and knowing Ivan's love of Pokemon you weren't really surprised by his reaction.

The vampire immediately tried his luck to get it, once, twice, three times. Soon all the money Vladimir had given him was spent on it, to no avail. His aim wasn't very good and he was still a few points short of getting it. He sighed dejectedly before turning back to you.

"It doesn't matter… I was never any good at darts anyway. Ethan's right, I'd miss an elephant in a corridor…"

It was a dream opportunity to win her heart a little more. You paid a game to your towers and well determined to use your new supernatural powers to good effect you concentrated on the balloons in front of you er had not missed any. If Ivan looked sad at the start of your game, his face lit up with each balloon you touched, one, two, three, four, by the fifth, he was pawing impatiently beside you and when the balloon burst he couldn't stand still. You picked up the cuddly toy before giving it to him.

Too happy to think seriously about what he was doing, Ivan threw himself around your neck before kissing your cheek.

"MC! Thank you, thank you so much. I love you so much. This is the best day of my life, I thought I'd never have it. You're the best."

When he noticed that you were still in his arms, he immediately pulled back, his face red as a tomato. You laughed at his reaction before leaning over to kiss his cheek.

"It will be a memento of this evening. I love to see you happy."

Aaron :

He's not a good flirt and he doesn't understand signals very well either. It's not that he lacks the confidence to flirt or doesn't think he's attractive, it's just that he doesn't think about it. It usually takes him a long time to realise that someone is flirting with him, and more often than not it's Raphaël, Béliath or Ethan who tell him.

He doesn't see that you're flirting with him at all, at first. He likes it that you're interested in him and that you ask him questions about what he likes, but he doesn't see the point. He thinks you're very tactile, although he doesn't really understand why you're less so with other people. It was Ethan who finally told him that you were attracted to him.

He's not going to complain, he finds you attractive too. But flirting is clearly not something he's mastered. What's more, over the centuries the ways of courting have changed a lot and he hasn't been courting for a long time, so he has absolutely no idea what is or isn't done in your time. The easiest way for him to hit on you is to compliment you on what you're doing or try to do you a favour when you're tired or need help. He also likes the time you spend fencing together.

So it was a bit difficult at first to try and make yourself understood. But you persevered, trying to send clearer signals to your vampire. Little by little, he's beginning to understand them more easily, even if you're still sometimes obliged to tell him you're flirting with him.

This evening, you were both in the small sitting room, which was quite rare given that it's one of the most popular rooms in the manor. You were sitting next to each other, your shoulders touching, and you were enjoying tracing the scars on his arm as you asked him questions about the places he had visited in the past.

During the evening, you slid your hand down his arm to get closer to him, had tried to find a place where he was ticklish, but it was a failure, Aaron isn't very ticklish, even if he found your attempts very amusing, put your head on his shoulder, made a few innuendos and played with his hair. However, Aaron didn't seem to understand your intentions and you were slowly running out of ideas. In desperation, you finally sighed and rested your head against his shoulder.

"Aaron… I've been hitting on you since earlier. It's not much fun if you don't react on your own.

-Oh… the vampire smiled and looked down at you before answering. I see…

-Not so much, given your reactions…

Aaron laughs at your comment before approaching you.

"Sorry MC. I'm having a bit of trouble seeing the signals. Would you like to go for a walk together in the forest? I know a beautiful spot that you might like, there's a great view over the forest and in the distance you can see the city and its lights.

You shrugged before smiling.

"Is this a date? you ask innocently.

-Well. You could call it that indeed.

You smiled before kissing her cheek.

Raphaël :

Raphaël has always been a good seducer. He quickly understands how to seduce others and loves to see them play his game. However, he has a slight preference for the idea of being seduced rather than seducing. Not that he doesn't like the second idea, but he finds the idea of someone trying to make him fall in love much more romantic.

He quickly understands that you are trying to seduce him and he lets you. He told Beliath, Vladimir and Aaron about it with a goofy smile on his face as he recounted the romanticism of his situation. He didn't really know what you liked about him, the younger ones tended to find him too boring and romantic and even though he knew he was rather pretty, he also knew that he wasn't the best looking man in the manor. However, he doesn't ask himself too many questions, he's too happy about your interest in him and you can see quite easily from his reactions that he likes the way you behave.

He asks you questions about yourself, about what you like, about your life before you came to the manor, about what you want in the future. He takes in everything you say and even makes notes when he gets back to his room to get ideas for presents. So sometimes he'll give you something you've told him about a few days before, or he'll cook your favourite dish just because he "felt like cooking tonight."

He deliberately drops things because you pick them up for him and this always gives him the chance to touch your hand. Has he ever tripped on purpose so that you could catch him? Yes, totally. He finds it frighteningly romantic. He also asks you to take him for walks in the woods or garden, of course he could use his cane to get around these places, but he finds it much more romantic to be hanging on your arm while you're making sure he doesn't trip over any roots.

This evening, you went for a walk in the forest at Raphaël's request. Apart from Aaron, who often went out, you were unlikely to run into anyone from the manor and the peace and quiet was very relaxing. Raphaël was holding onto your arm so that you could guide him.

You'd been circling each other for some time now. You couldn't miss Raphaël's response to your advances, which only encouraged you to keep up this little game. You'd spent most of the night talking about your pasts, your passions and your hobbies. You'd also laughed a lot and were both in a rather playful mood.

He'd 'stumbled' a few times since you'd started going out, but it had become fairly obvious to you from watching him do it that he was faking it; Raphaël is air-headed, but not clumsy, and he only tripped or dropped things when you were present. When he 'stumbled' again, you leaned closer to him and whispered with a smile in your voice.

"Next time you pretend to stumble, I'll carry you back to the manor.

Raphaël laughed and blushed.

-I could deliberately stumble a little earlier than I'd planned, in which case… Raphaël replies with an innocent smile.

"Remember what you just said," you said, "because I swear I will".

You didn't walk for very long, because it only took a few minutes before Raphaël "stumbled" again.

"Oh dear, I'm sorry," mumbles Raphaël with a smile that means the exact opposite. It's a good thing you're here with me MC, I could have hurt myself when I fell.

You laughed at his reaction before carrying out your threat. Raphaël put an arm around you to steady himself as you took him in your arms.

"Well… at least there's no more risk of me falling…

-Indeed, my dear. Shall I drop you off at the manor?

-Would you really carry me to the manor?" asked the vampire with hope in his voice.

-If that's what you want.

-It's so romantic. Of course I do!

Ethan :

Even living with Beliath and trying to imitate him, he's not a very good seducer. He thinks too much that "follow me I flee from you, flee from me I follow" really works. He can see when people are attracted to him, but the problem is that if he plays indifferent for too long, people eventually get bored and give up.

When he realises that you're flirting with him, his first instinct is to act indifferent. He thinks it works for a while, until Raphaël points out that you're beginning to tire of his little game. At that point, he's a bit at a loss: he can't see any other way to win you over, so he starts to observe more closely how Beliath goes about winning hearts at Moondance.

He tries to make an effort, he asks you questions about yourself, about what you like. He's invited you to the cinema, to Moondance. He's keeping time especially for you at the manor to teach you how to shoot. His new behaviour encourages you to resume your flirting. You start to touch him a little more often by walking past him in the corridors, which he also does with you.

One day you discovered that he was very sensitive around the ribs and you started to have fun pinching them as you walked past him. He retaliated by doing the same thing to you. Since then, it's become a game between you, each of you looking for the best moment to pinch the other and leave the room as quickly as possible before he has time to retaliate.

Tonight, you were looking for him in the manor house. Bedroom, parlour, sitting room, kitchen and garden, you had searched most of the places where you usually found him before heading for the library, but luckily your last choice was the right one. Ethan had his back to you, too busy putting away a stack of detective books to pay any attention to your presence. You smiled mischievously as you slowly approached him.

When you reached him, you pinched his ribs as he stretched out on tiptoe to put the last book back on top of the bookcase. The vampire immediately turned around, but you were already laughing your way out of the library. He wasted no time in abandoning the book balanced on the shelf and took off after you.

Your run took you into the small living room, which was luckily empty, so you didn't risk disturbing anyone with your game; Ethan arrived only a few seconds after you. You both ran around the sofa, sometimes managing to avoid it just in time by shifting to the side. But in the end, Ethan was faster. You both fell onto the sofa. First Ethan tried to pinch your ribs, then he abandoned to tickle them. The fight lasted a long time, during which each of you ended up getting the upper hand at one point or another. Finally, you managed to grab both his wrists.

You took the opportunity to catch your breath, but his breathless expression was far too tempting for you to resist the urge to tease him for long, and after a moment's calm, you released his wrists and tried to tickle his ribs again.

You only stopped fighting when you both fell off the sofa, gesticulating wildly. Ethan landed right underneath you, breathing hard from his hilarity, you were in the same state as he was.

"Sorry," you said, despite the laughter still in your voice. Did you hurt yourself?

-No, I'm fine and you?" replied Ethan, just as amused.

-Just fine.

You leaned over him to kiss his forehead.

-You win I give up, my ribs and cheeks hurt from laughing so hard."

Neil :

He could be a good seducer if he really liked it, but as far as he can remember he's never enjoyed it. He knows that others like him because he's attractive and as pleasant to listen to as he is to look at. But seduction isn't something he really feels safe with.

At first, he has a bit of trouble understanding that you're flirting with him. This isn't because he thinks it's impossible, but rather because he's always found it hard to understand when people are really courting him. He's been king, people have always tried to be liked by him and rarely because he really liked them. So he's a bit wary at first and wonders what you really want from him behind your flirting. It takes a little time for him to understand that you are sincere in your intentions. And even then, he'll continue to have doubts, because he's finding it hard to know what he wants as well.

He's not trying to run away from you or prevent you from flirting with him, but it's a bit difficult to see that he's attracted to you until you really know him well. In fact, it's mainly you who's flirting with him at first.

However, he's starting to take more and more initiative to seduce you too. In particular, he gives you lots of presents, even things you've only told him about once in a conversation. All it takes is for you to stop in front of a shop window and comment on the beauty of a garment for you to receive it in the course of the night. He doesn't just buy you clothes, either - jewellery, books, video games, flowers - you can quickly get anything you want.

This evening, you had settled down in the small sitting room to enjoy the fireplace. Neil was sitting next to you, his eyes immersed in a book. For your part, you were nonchalantly playing with his hair, trying to attract his attention in one way or another. You had noticed from your time with him that you were the only one allowed to touch his hair in this way, and it didn't seem to bother him, let alone distract him from his reading.

Finally, after several minutes, you lay down on the sofa, resting your head on her legs. Your gaze lingered on the features of her face. His pretty pale yellow eyes remained entirely focused on his reading, the fine features of his face wore a thoughtful expression. He looked a bit like those Greek god statues you see in museums, he just looked a bit more alive and beautiful too, if you could give your opinion.

Slowly you reached out to caress her cheek, which finally made her look down at you. You smiled at his puzzled expression. He was even more handsome now that he was looking directly at you, it wasn't an exaggeration on your part, or so you thought.

What is it?" asks the vampire. Is something wrong?

-Do you know that you're very handsome? Really beautiful," you reply. I could look at you for hours and never get tired of it.

He smiles at you, closing his book and placing it beside him.

-Thank you.

-I'm not exaggerating, you know," you continue. I'm really not. It's not even fair to the others, they can never be as beautiful as you, even with all the effort in the world you'll always be much more beautiful than them."

AARON

He has never considered Christmas as something that was very relevant. He has celebrated it with his mother, and even though they were happy together, he was always anxious about how his father would be and whether he would return or not. Aaron does not consider Christmas as something happy. Some people spend it all alone and the wild animals are the ones having a harder time with such low temperatures.

At the mansion, Ethan, Ivan and Beliath are the ones who bring the Christmas spirit, but Vladimir has always cut off their enthusiasm. Once you arrived and expressed your desire to celebrate it, oh, Aaron didn't hesitate for a second to talk with Vladimir and convince him to do something for Christmas.

He gladly helps with the decorations and the Christmas tree. He’d tell you to go do another thing to not tire yourself, but if you insist with helping, he will make sure you don’t get yourself injured. At some point he’d grab your waist and carry you so you reach higher spots for decoration.

Don’t let this man enter the kitchen during the Christmas noon as Vladimir is cooking the dinner because he will certainly steal some food. 

Aaron will probably invite random wild animals into the mansion so they do not freeze. (Vlad won’t be happy about it)

He dislikes snow and definitely prefers to stay inside, cuddling with you under the blanket and in front of the fire. But whenever it’s not snowing, he might accept to go visit the Christmas market!

He would buy you whatever you wanted if he wasn’t so broke. But will consent you with any pastries, a cheap necklace or ring you want! He’d feel bad if you left the Christmas market without trying anything.

Aaron adores how everyone seems to get along in the mansion during the Christmas dinner. He’s even more open to do jokes and explain stuff knowing there will be good vibes.

He compliments at any second he can about how good you look during your Christmas dinner outfit. Aaron might look at you with a lovesick smile without even realizing. He might be such a gentleman during that night (plus he considers you’re the best gift he could get for this celebration!).

He’s not good at all at gifting. And knowing how honest he is, he probably asked you about the stuff you needed so he could gift you most of those things (plus his kisses might be considered another gift)

He accepts wearing the typical Christmas sweaters only because you and Ivan insisted a lot. He doesn’t feel ashamed though.

Next morning he will try to convince everyone to go get churros with hot chocolate. 

BELIATH

December equals to Christmas for him. Every. Single. Day. He LOVES the Christmas spirit in the city, and it is one of the things he had loved about humans the most; their adorable excitement for this season.

And the moment he finds out you’d like to celebrate Christmas with them his heart quite melts inside his chest. “Oh, really? You’re so cuuuute,” and a great smooch to your forehead, “let’s perturb Vladimir then.” 

As he is decorating the mansion he is definitely singing to Christmas songs. And he will incite you to sing with him.

When he places the mistletoe in the doorway between the kitchen and the big living room, he might casually drag you there and play like he didn’t know the mistletoe was right on top of you… “My my, looks like we are under the mistletoe…” and giggles like a dumb teen. (He simply wants to kiss you)

He will purposely stop under any mistletoe of the city to kiss you.

He is the one in charge to do Christmas parties in home.

Obviously the Christmas day will be reserved only for the family (the other guys and you), and then moondance time! You’re invited ofc.

He’s very original with his Christmas dinner outfit. He REFUSES to wear any kind of ugly sweater, I’m sorry. Yet he braids his hair with some fancy accessories for hair (Christmas themed because he needs to fit the mood) He might find some elegant red pants and a stylish black shirt with a red tie. He truly thinks he ate with that outfit. And please tell him he did.

Vladimir has hit Beliath with his cane several times because he decides to play All I want for Christmas is you in a freaking loop randomly.

Beliath finds excitement in baking Christmas cookies but might end up causing a great disaster. Not because the cookies were burnt, but because the cookies didn’t even have any sort of healthy cookie appearance. They looked poisonous.

He is very good at picking gifts for everyone. He is very observant and knows what people need and want, so he makes mind-lists. A great plan for you two is to go shopping together! 

The most elaborated gift will be yours. You’re very special to him and he won’t only buy anything you need but will also consent you with silly little things.

And no, he’s not rich. He also uses his power in stores to make everyone believe he had paid for so many things.

RAPHAEL

He has a good memory of Christmas and actually likes this season due to how families seem to be more joined. And not going to lie he had wished to feel a sense of familiarity with the vampires at least once. He would like to see Beliath and Vladimir in the same place having fun, he would like to see Ivan and Ethan able to keep a decent and friendly conversation.

It was Raphael’s excitement for your request of celebrating Christmas that made Vladimir accept it. And Raphael was so grateful with you! 

Raphael can’t help much with the decoration, but he can yap about Christmas’ lore. He can also help by giving his opinion about the food to Vladimir (he’d advise him if it needs more salt, if it is burnt…)

He walks around the whole mansion with a blanket around his shoulders as if he was the king of a nation. He doesn’t like coldness and searches warmth whenever he has the chance, snuggling to you when you’re close to him. He also glues to Vladimir by accident just for warmth, even though the British vamp doesn’t complain (he knows that Raphael’s sensitive to coldness)

Drinks too much during the Christmas dinner that he is more talkative than usual. He might have his cheeks completely red and would be smiling more than usual. You along with Ethan and Ivan laughed a lot at this drunk facade of Raphael.

He’s very lovely and sweet with everyone during that night! You might even see him being so clingy with you, Aaron and even Vladimir. 

The hangover wasn’t so easy on him next morning :(.

He sends Aaron to buy gifts for you (he makes a great list of stuff for you). He is subtle with getting ideas for you, and he is most likely relying on his creative side to write a poem for you (if he could paint for you, he’d do it)

If you decide to bake something for Christmas he will offer himself as the main tester of your tarts and cookies.

He will let you gift him cute Christmas pajamas just because they are warmer and very comfy.

VLADIMIR

The reason why the vampires didn’t really celebrate Christmas was because of him. During these holidays he gets the most melancholic. He believes that everyone forces happiness during those days, and he never enjoyed them. He was certainly curious and was wondering how would it feel to do it with the guys, but why would he force it?

What he didn’t expect is that everyone had hopes of doing it thanks to you. You were truly a revolution for his life… yet it did take him time to accept. And even if he had a lot of questions, he ended up accepting.

You helped him to plan the events for the Christmas day. He somehow found the idea of a dinner pretty interesting and decided to be the one cooking. But he refused to wear some sort of silly accessory. Later in the dinner Beliath would place a Santa Claus hat on him, and he’d get grumpy like a grandpa.

But he had fun.

He was the one forcing Beliath and Aaron to set the decorations since they were tall.

Somehow you will find him smiling constantly during that day. And you knew that even if he didn’t express it openly, it was the first time he was enjoying Christmas so much. All his sad heart needed was the warmth of everyone’s presence in a friendly environment. 

He cried when he saw that everyone had a gift for him. He honestly believed that no one would give a single thing to him. He felt awful because he didn’t leave the mansion to buy a single gift.

But Vladimir is a kind person, and he wants to give what he received, and he wouldn’t accept to be empty-handed for so long he’d make sure to have a gift for all of you in less than a week.

He’s the best at wrapping gifts.

Have you ever seen Vladimir hugging someone else that wasn’t you in private? Well, that night he hugged everyone.

After the dinner he gave you a great session of love and cuddles. He was overwhelmed from the amount of warmth and happiness in his heart. You’d hold him in your arms as he cries from happiness :).

ETHAN 

He didn’t really celebrate it when he was a kid, but doesn’t think of Christmas as something bad. He likes it.  And he literally brags about having the Santa Claus village in Finland.

Don’t worry, if he is able to bring you there, he will. He is excited himself to go there.

Loves to play in the snow and will definitely throw a whole big ball of snow at you. He will get you to make snow angels with him, and he will feel as if he was once again a little happy kid. 

He will make you laugh so much when you’re both playing on the snow that even your tummy will hurt. 

Luckily he can not get sick, but you can. And spending so much time outside with him had its consequences. Ethan will say that it’s merely a skill issue, yet he’d feel terrible for making you fall ill during winter. But you won’t lose anything from what they all prepare, you just skip all the preparations which is lowkey good if you’re lazy.

Ethan will spend any free moment besides you, taking care of you. Don’t you dare to get up or he’s tying you up in the bed to rest (not kinkily). 

He is in charge of decorating the Christmas tree with Ivan, and more than once used the lights to wrap them aroun the young vamp. Luckily you aren’t sick enough and can separate them, or they will end up like a cat and dog.

He brings all the ugly Christmas accessories to the dinner and forces everyone to put on something. The board games can’t be forgotten either.

And he will print those pics and stick them into the walls of everyone’s room!! He aggressively forces them, but it’s his adorable small sign of affection towards the others. He is more open with his affection towards you though.

It’s impressive how much does this man eat during the dinner, not even Aaron was capable to win his large stomach.

This man is supposed to not drink alcohol, please control him or next day he might be throwing up all he consumed the last day.

He has a tiny Christmas tree in his bedroom.

Pretty decent with his gift picking. He prefers to give practical gifts and not spend much money.

But he is truly chaotic to wrap the gifts. You can always tell that he wrapped it because it is TERRIBLE.

IVAN

After Halloween, Christmas is one of those holidays which heals his inner child so badly:(. He had a great time during this month with his family, he even had the opportunity to do trips with his family as a way to celebrate Christmas.

He is excited about iceskating and literally spends weeks telling you to go.

When you finally go he ends up with a few bruises from the amount of times he has fallen. And of course a new trauma for him.

Anyway he had fun with going out with you so that’s more than enough.

Ivan wears every single day of December those ugly Christmas sweaters. And he will give you a few of them so you both can go around matching sweaters! 

He is a great enjoyer of seasonal movies and will force you to have cuddling sessions every night and watch any random movie from his laptop.

He drags you to decorate the Christmas tree with him. And you’ll see him smile like a little kid a lot, he’s honestly very happy!

During the dinner he is mainly trying all the plates on the table, too focused on eating to talk. 

He has a lot of fun playing board games (tries to cheat on them but ain’t subtle about it)

He makes the most random gifts to everyone because he has no idea about what to give any of you. He apologizes but at least he makes the moment funnier.

Don’t expect him to be elegant during the dinner. He’s gonna wear Santa’s hat and grinch socks. And he is proud of his outfit!

Do not let him bake anything, for everyone’s sake.

Offers you to spend the whole Christmas night awake, but he dies (falls asleep) the moment he finds a comfy spot in your chest. 

This baby is perfectly aware that now that you live with them, every Christmas will be great and will feel different with you in them.

Vladimir :

The discussion came up while you were gardening with him. Vladimir has always wanted children, as far back as he can remember, and when he was a child he even helped his mother or the nanny look after his brothers and sisters. His parents were very amused by this. A little less so the other adults around him who didn't see it as normal play for a little boy.

His wish to have children is still the same, and he still feels a little sad at the idea of never being a father, but it's been a long time now that he's put that idea behind him. It's not for nothing that he more or less adopted Ivan. Does he think of him as his son? He'd be tempted to say no, but in reality that's not quite true.

You don't want a child, he's not going to try to change your mind, he may find it sad for him, but he's not going to ask you to give him a child so that he can bring it up on his own.

He supports you when people try to convince you that you're wrong or that you'll regret it one day, and he gets angry when people imply that it's sad for him.

He's happy to be in a relationship with you, child or not, and he won't tolerate anyone trying to make you feel guilty or change your mind. It's your body, not theirs or his.

Béliath :

The discussion came quite naturally as he was telling you about the fact that his biggest stress had been getting someone pregnant without wanting to. When you told him you didn't want a child, he nodded. He understands pretty well.

Although he jokes about it a lot, given that he's the most fertile person in the manor. He's very careful not to get anyone pregnant by having sex with them. It's not that he's bothered by the idea of having a mini-Beliat somewhere in the wild, but… if the person were to keep the baby, well, there could be a few problems when it comes to feeding it… and he doesn't really want to be known as the slightly stupid vampire who made humans discover the existence of his kind…

He'd never really thought about whether or not he wanted children, Part of him thinks it might be great fun to raise a mini-him with a partner, but the other part realises to his horror that it's still a lot of work. What's more, he hasn't really had a good parental example and he doesn't think he'd make a good father.

In any case, he sees no problem with your decision. It's your body, after all, and you can do what you like with it. He certainly won't try to change your mind and he'll certainly get angry at people who might question your decision. It's not up to them to decide for you.

Ivan :

You were discussing everything and nothing and he's not really sure how the subject came up. However, he understands you quite easily when you tell him that you don't want a child.

He doesn't know if that will always be the case for him, but he's sure he doesn't want one at the moment. He still feels far too childish to bring up a child, his transformation into a vampire is still so recent and he's not even sure he understands himself. It's not compatible with the idea of bringing up a child.

The fact that you don't want children doesn't bother him, the idea of having children isn't why he got together with you. He got together because he loves you and enjoys the time he spends with you. Having or not having children wouldn't change the way he feels about you.

He comes to your defence when people insinuate that you're too young to know what you want, or when people say you'll change your mind as you get older. Other people don't know what you want any better than you do, and Ivan can't stand the idea of anyone trying to make you change your mind about something like that. You're the one who has to make the decision.

Aaron :

The discussion came naturally during one of your walks in the forest. You were discussing your future together and your plans when you told Aaron that you didn't want any children.

He hadn't thought about it since he left Farah's pack. Pregnancy was fairly common among werewolves in those days, mainly because one of the few 'means' of contraception was withdrawal and it didn't really work.

He is fairly indifferent to the idea of having children or not. He didn't get into a relationship with you to have children, but because he likes you and enjoys having you around. He really doesn't see any problem with your decision. It's your body, and even if he wanted a child, that wouldn't give him the right to force you to have one.

You continued to discuss the subject for a good part of your walk. You talked mainly about the pressure society puts on you to have children. He listened to you, assuring you that he wouldn't allow anyone to try to impose his choices on you and that he would stand up for you no matter what.

Raphaël :

The subject came up quite naturally one night when you were both reading in the library. Raphaël was talking to you about a fairy tale that he liked a lot, and you finally stopped reading to discuss the subject together, especially the end of fairy tales, and that's when you told him that you didn't want any children.

Raphaël hadn't thought about the question before, because he's rather indifferent to it. He hasn't wanted a child until now. If you'd wanted to have a child with him, he'd have agreed, but he also agrees with the idea that you didn't want one.

The only thing that really matters to him is living with you. Of course, all fairy tales end with "they lived happily ever after and had many children" but Raphaël is ready to write a different ending with you. He doesn't need to have children to be happy, the only thing that matters to him is that you're happy.

He repeatedly assures you that he supports your decision and will never try to change your mind. It's your decision and your body. He defends you when people try to convince you that you're wrong, and the fact that people try to make you change your mind about it really annoys him.

Ethan :

The discussion came after you had both talked about your parents. You told him that you didn't want any children. Ethan listened carefully before nodding. Before, when he was still young and human and hadn't been traumatised by the war, he would certainly have been disappointed, but now it's more of a relief. He doesn't think he would have made a good father anyway.

He was already using condoms with his Moondance conquests because the idea of getting someone pregnant made him anxious, and not just because of the idea of leaving a vampire baby out in the wild. The fact that you don't want a child either is a relief for him, he feels like you've just taken a huge weight off his shoulders.

He was quick to assure you that he didn't want any either and that you could live happily without children. He'll even tell you several times with genuine relief in his voice.

He gets really annoyed when people try to change your mind about it. He doesn't understand why people criticise your private life or your decisions. You're not forcing anyone not to have children, what you do with your lives is your own business. His aggressiveness on this subject is a little frightening for the people you're talking to, but at least it pays off, because soon no-one is trying to change your mind.

Neil :

The subject came up when you were talking about Neil's life when he was king. More specifically, he was telling you about the concubines he had and the children he had with them. When you told him you didn't want any children, he felt relieved. He had had his children with his concubines out of obligation rather than any desire to have them.

Of course, he appreciated the children he had, in one way or another, even when he found them stupid and useless, their stupidity was sometimes… endearing. He even got on very well with some of them, who went on to become powerful vampires, but he has no real desire to have them again.

Being alone with you is enough for him, your presence is enough for him. He already feels happy with you this way and doesn't need anything more. He quickly assures you that he feels the same way about it.

He doesn't let people try to make you change your mind about it and he gets angry when they insist that you'll end up regretting it and that you'll change your mind one day. This decision is yours alone and no one should have the right to try and make you feel guilty or change your mind.
