Summary: In honour of one Fae’s Journey to fulfill his princess’ last wish to save her son, the newborn Prince of Briar Valley.

They lost…

Briar Country, once heralded as a Land dominated by the Fae, is now a remnant of what it once was…

Their Princess…slain by the humans who demonized them for their existence. All because of the greed of one egotistical man.

All that was left of her was her son. Still only an egg, but also a star of hope for the people of Briar Valley.

And yet he, too, was taken away from his arms. Not by death, but by those who viewed the broken-hearted war general, who could do nothing but weep for the death of his beloved Meleanor, a failure.

As the days began to pass, the people of Briar Valley hoped and prayed for the young prince to hatch. While nurtured from afar with his grandmother giving him her magic, the prince heard Lilia's vow to one day find a solution that will awaken him.

And so, he traveled the changing world of humans. Looking for the key that would save the egg.

During his journey, he would stumble upon people, asking if anyone knew how to hatch a dragon's egg. But all he got in turn was disdain and hatred by most people who only saw him as a monster.

Even with the malice of human perspective and apathy wanting to make him give up, Lilia persevered and continued his journey.

All for Malleus's sake.

While he may not have made any progress, Lilia could only offer stories to the young prince when he met him time and time again. His voice was a balm to the little one, subconsciously becoming a Hymn of Hope to young Malleus. 

The stories Lilia told were that of an ever changing world beyond Briar Valley's borders. How much humanity has changed; some still superstitious and distrusting while others were more open and compassionate. He spoke of how he hopes to show Malleus the world once he's older.

The days passed with no signs of the egg shell showing any cracks to indicate his hatching. The people of Briar Valley feared that their Prince would soon join his parents in the Stars. That they would lose their symbol of hope to death.

However, even as those around him and Queen Maleficia despaired for the worst, Lilia kept moving forward. Kept going despite the gear gnawing at his heart and mind.

“I made a promise to your mother that you will one day hatch and become a Prince she would be proud of.”

And Lilia's vow grew into determination and hope. A hope that for one day Malleus could forge a bond with the outside world. From that hope gave birth to a power that is befitting for someone him; Protector of Cradles. Such a blessing allowed him to save the young prince when he began to reject his Grandmother’s magic and cry out to his true guardian and father.

Giving it his all, from his love, his magic and life force, Lilia had given it all to Briar Valley’s Hope. To young Malleus.

Lilia Vanrouge was proud to give up everything to give his Prince that hope.

# ASK INKA : what's in my bag?

inka : hello guys ! i'm inka from stray kids and i will do the what's in my bag challenge. i always have it with me because i tend to always leave my stuff lying around.. so as soon as i find something that belongs to me, i put it in to store it later. handy, right? my bag is like mary poppins'.

inka : okay so.. let's start !

airpods, charger & phone.

inka : most important things, if you ask me. i really can't live without my phone, as i tend to write a lot in my notes. i must have like over 300 notes in there.. bits of songs, moments of my life that i don't want to forget, feelings.. that sort of thing. and my charger obviously, essential given the rate at which my phone loses its battery.

inka : i also have my airpods, with my super cool box with the effigy of this monster & cie's character, bob razowski. i wanted boo's version, but i was afraid it would be too big.. so i chose this one which i also love.

👤 : what is your song of the moment?

inka : my song of the moment? mhh.. lemme think about it.. i think it's i'm good by bebe rexha and david guetta.

perfume and makeup.

inka : another thing i can't live without, my perfume. i'm completely obsessed with this one. i am used to putting some very often, which makes my bottles empty quickly, but it's nothing because i love the smell of these.

inka took the opportunity to apply two strokes of perfume on her neck, feeling the good smell of the latter invade the room.

inka : ahhh, i really like it.

inka : i know that we have our makeup artists who always do an impeccable job without imperfections, but i like to have minimal makeup with me, just on principle. you never know.. maybe one day something will happen that will make me have to do my makeup alone, i have to be prepared for this situation !

songs notebook.

inka : ah yea. my private notebook. in fact, i have had this notebook for years, it's a bit like my secret diary you know. the pages are filled with song lyrics, song ideas, or little doodles. they sometimes help me to find inspiration and not to forget any of my ideas. speaking of ideas, as they often appear at any time and without warning, i try as much as possible to always have my notebook handy to write them down, otherwise i tend to forget them and regret it later.

wallet and card holder.

inka : my wallet is cute, right? it's kuromi. jeongin gave it to me on my birthday, since then, it hasn't left my bag. it is quite wide, so very practical. plus, i don't like going out without coins and all, so i put the cash in.

inka : and of course my card holder, because one day i lost my credit card by putting it in the pocket of my jeans, so i decided to pay more attention to it and always put it in my bag so i don't lose it again. a very tiring experience.

hand cream and hand sanitizer.

inka : if there must be one thing in all the bags in the world, it's hand sanitizer who never goes out without it's hand cream. with the hard time we've had, and the virus that is still running around, it's important to be careful and disinfect your hands regularly. but the disinfectant often dehydrates your skin much faster, especially with the cold weather, so it is very important to hydrate your skin regularly to avoid any damaged skin. that's what i do, anyway. i hate having sore hands.

inka took the opportunity to do a little booster shot, showing to the camera how to properly apply the cream on the hands.

medications, bandages & pack of tissues.

inka : i'm the type of person who regularly has migraines, and therefore unbearable headaches. it takes me often and it is extremely unpleasant, that's why i always have pills with me to help me feel better. i also have vitamins that i take daily, that help me to keep myself fit and energetic. and finally, regular pills to be able to cure my insomnia, i must not forget to take them, they are extremely important.

inka : bandages are very important, because sometimes when we get hurt outside the dorm, we don't necessarily have what it takes to heal yourselves, so i make sure to always have bandages to treat wounds that do not require medical treatment.

inka : i often blow my nose, really. i feel like i have a cold every day of the year. so i always have a pack of tissues with me, it has become essential.

itzy's ryujin polaroid.

inka : ahh.. one of my most precious treasures. this polaroid of ryujin is very important to me, because she personally wrote me a message on the back. a message of encouragement to be more precise, she gave it to me during a rather complicated period of my life, and i must admit that i consider it a bit like a lucky charm.

inka : ryujin if you see this video, thank you for all your support, thank you for being such a precious friend ! you're the best.

a small stuffed cat.

inka : oh it's my little meow's turn ! it's a gift from ateez's lua. as many know, lua is my best friend, and she gave me this stuffed cat shortly after my debut in stray kids. i literally take him everywhere, i take great care of him, oh and funny fact, he has the particularity of smelling like vanilla. so my bag is always scented with a vanilla smell.

inka approached the little stuffed cat to her cheek, pretending to cuddle it tenderly for a few seconds.

inka : bestie ! how are you? i can't wait to see you again soon, i hope we will have many more good times together. i miss you.. take care, okay? i send you all my support for your future projects. and don't forget, i will always be your biggest fan. *🫶🏻*

kitkat and other snacks.

inka : kitkat are my favorite snacks, it's nothing new, honestly. i buy these regularly and always have a few in my bag, just in case my stomach gets a little peckish.. you know, to avoid awkward gurgling in the middle of an interview.

obviously, she takes the opportunity to unwrap one and quickly eat it in front of everyone, triggering the laughter of some members of the staff.

inka : but ! i also have other snacks for the kids. those who ask me most often are obviously changbin and jisung. once, i caught them rummaging through my bag to find some, unbelievable.

yellow nintendo switch lite.

inka : my precious. she is always here for me. i really love video games, i often spend all my free time playing. i love playing animal crossing, fire emblem, trials of mana.. i have a large collection of video games at home. i often play with felix by the way. but i am more often playing genshin impact on my playstation..

👤 : which characters are in your genshin impact's main team?

inka : i change quite often honestly, because i love playing with lots of different characters. but right actually, my mains are mona – the only character who never leaves my team, scaramouche, tighnari and fischl.

a few words to end this interview.

inka : what i remember is that i should definitely organize my bag better, but i still think i have most of what i need inside. unfortunately, there will always be little extra things that will be added from time to time.. next time i'll take a backpack !

ELEMENTAIRE - On savait Pixar capable de beaucoup de choses au vu de leur inventivité narrative et leur maestria technique inégalable durant bien deux décennies dans le domaine de l’animation. Ils ont tout de même su nous émerveiller avec un robot muet ( Wall-E), nous faire pleurer à chaudes larmes quand un gamin dit au revoir à ses jouets et à l’enfance (Toy Story 3) ou encore nous toucher en plein cœur avec les rêves et cauchemars d’une petite fille (Monster & Cie).

Pourtant, ils ont connu un passage à vide avec pas mal de films consécutifs tout juste corrects comme Vice Versa ou en tout cas pas extraordinaires comme En avant ... Heureusement, cette petite crise s’est déroulée en partie durant la période de crise sanitaire et de crise des salles de cinéma, passant plus inaperçue. Et voilà qu’ils nous reviennent en très grande forme avec cet Élémentaire, un film au concept tout aussi élémentaire que son titre en plus d’être évident. A tel point qu’on se demande pourquoi aucun studio d’animation n’y avait pensé avant (peut-être à cause de barrières techniques).

Faire un film mettant en scène les quatre éléments que sont l’eau, la terre, l’air et le feu est une idée de génie. Et parce que Pixar nous surprend toujours, il baigne ce pitch aux possibilités infinies dans une comédie sentimentale (leur première vraie) aux accents sociaux culturels. Et en plus, le film a le mérite de prôner le vivre ensemble et l’ode aux différences tout en conspuant le racisme et revisitant l’Histoire américaine ses vagues d’immigration. Tout cela dans un film familial et animé? Oui, c’est possible, Pixar l’a fait et plus que bien!

On parle quand même ici d’une histoire d’amour entre une flamme et une flaque d’eau! Ridicule? Absolument pas, c’est bourré d’inventivité et beau à se damner, aussi bien sur le plan émotionnel que visuel. Imaginez : deux êtres qui s’aiment mais qui ne peuvent se toucher faisant penser à tant de romances impossibles que le septième art a pu produire. Si ce n’est la ville d’Elemental City qui ressemble un peu à celle de Zootopie (avec le gag de l’agent administratif mou au possible copié sur ce dernier), le peuple de la terre un peu mis de côté et quelques longueurs sur la fin, Élémentaire demeure un très grand film où la beauté de l’animation est extraordinaire (toutes ces textures et techniques différentes pour figurer les différents éléments/personnages avec un faible pour ceux du feu).

L'intensité de l'animation, se conjugue avec précision d’un scénario riche en plus d’être à plusieurs niveaux de lecture et pour tous les âges. Le peuple malaimé du feu pourrait être autant les autochtones que n’importe quel peuple brimé durant l’histoire. Les dialogues et les jeux de mots avec les éléments sont imparables et excellents, utilisant la richesse du champ lexical sur le sujet.

Un régal de tous les sens, de l'esprit, et un divertissement qui regorge de quelque chose d'aussi joyeux qu'explosif.

NOTE 17/20 - On a les yeux remplis d’étoiles durant une heure et demie de bonheur devant une œuvre aux couleurs sublimes qui surprend et émerveille sans discontinuer. Tout feu, tout flamme, ce Pixar vous met l’eau à la bouche tout du long.

My brain gave me too much ideas.

Let's admit that Astor survived (which is pretty unlike but let's imagine), he hid during this whole time, and then, Ganon finds out that he is still alive, and possesses him, like he ''possesses'' those monsters with... Screws on their forehead (???) and Astor becomes a sort of Malice puppet (like Belos when he possesse Hunter yk).

He goes against our heroes and Ganon says something throught his former prophet like: ''I thought this one was another lost cause, a failure, like the other one before him were, but thanks to him, I can finally finish my work, starting off with YOU !'' *tries to hit the Yigas because they are here (for some reason) and traitors in a way*

OR.

Astor got ejected from Ganon's body when Zelda and cie beat him in AoC, and lived... A relatively normal life, hiding from everybody and keeping HUGE Malice corruption.

And then, when he sees Ganon doing a second come back, he thinks it's the moment to try and finally succed to kill Zelda and Link.

He shows up in the shadows, in front of them, and with a slightly hoarse and corrupted voice: ''Hello Princess... Missed me ?''

(Might draw the second one because I have a very precise design idea)

But despite my best efforts of coming up with this, and the efforts of the whole Astor fandom, the enemy (Nintendo) will probably not put him in the game. To succeed, and making him immortal, we must flood the Astor tag as much as we can.

Loving the first angsty option cuz I really did wish for something like that for a while. And its the most possible one to me, since he really is an useless puppet.( but The Enemy will never do that for us).

But also the second one seems more possible due to how we painted Astor to be like (again personal opinion). Would he really be this obsessed and insane to live a somewhat normal life only to come back crawling and cling to Ganon the moment he has another chance? Yeah. Yeah he might. Its what he is used to, its what he devoted his whole life to. Its how we know him to be like(?)

piko's first day at the camp half-blood kinda goes like this: he was about to drive to his art studio before a mob of monsters in a broad daylight suddenly speeding towards his direction from behind.

terus ya panik pokoknya anjir masa monster beneran ada???? piko wouldnt even think theres another type of monster beside of new york's traffic jam. terus udah muter2 tetep dikejar sampe akhirnya dia motong jalan buat sembunyi.

enter: gofar sama tuktuk baru nutup bengkel mereka.

pokoknya gotuk lagi haha hihi hepi banget mau balik ke kemah mereka until they stumbled upon piko hyperventilating inside his car. ditawarin ngopi lah sama gofar (kasian doi keliatannya capek -gofar) terus mereka lengah n monsternya udah NGEJAR di belakang bgt

gotuk fully knowing what monster it was n who are theyre after terus mereka buru2 selametin piko the civillians pake numpang ((numpang)) mobil piko dibawa ke tempat aman (piko still drives it (padahal tuktuk juga mau) n gotuk settles with the monsters)

nah udah agak lamaan si piko berani ngomong kalo itu monster2nya sebenernya udah ngejar dia duluan. kaget lah gotuk kayak anjir ternyata ini ada demigod yang gaada pendamping terus dikejar2 monster!! god knows what would happen to piko if they didnt get him on time

terus sama fella dibilangin hati2 kesininya yada yada yada telponnya ditutup. terus dia lapor ke ucup (lagi asik main gaple) katanya mereka bakal punya sodara baru (as in every demigods had to stay at cabin hermes first... iykyk) nah si ucup cengar-cengir jail

EMANG MOTIVASI UCUP JELEK kayak dia bilang, oh bagus dong? semoga anaknya bisa diajak nyolong sama gue (pokoknya intinya he accepts the new kid as his sibling tapi anaknya ttp bakal diajarin maksiat) terus yaudah they come to pick up gotuk n piko at the camp's gate

pokoknya kalian inget tadi dia seneng2 punya sodara baru? sekarang boro2 seneng. nyesel yang ada. yang secakep gini masa jadi sodara dia doang. terus fella tbtb teriak kenceng banget (sengaja biar piko bangun): UCUUUUUUP KALO LIATIN ANAK BARU YANG CAKEP, HOMONYA KONTROL DONG!!

baru pas piko ngarepin jawaban dari gotuk, gofar langsung (pura pura) izin duluan ke bengkel cabinnya ("sikat cup sikaaat" "anjing lu far"). tuktuk juga sama. (trs ucup udah ga ngarep apa2 dari fella.. biarin lah anaknya kabur aja) trs ucup buka pintu mobil piko

sambil ngulurin tangan: hai, kenalin gue ucup, sekarang lu ada di camp halfblood. tadi lu yang katanya dikejar monster kan? well, gue, gofar, tuktuk, sama cewek yang tadi itu punya pengalaman yang sama kayak lu tadi. ayo, keluar dari mobil dulu. gue anter lo keliling tempat ini.

piko's first day at camp halfblood kid kinda goes weirdly for his own liking (getting randomly here by a pair of brothers who later ghosted him), but-- the series of events that eventually led him to this camp was much weirder, and frightening, even.

but this ucup boy, that smiles more widely after piko shake his hand back, piko had a feeling that-- everything from here is just gonna get more, more weirder, hell, maybe he soon would see his own death. but atleast its nice. to have a company.

(or to have his dead body buried by his new company, perhaps. also, he then shouldnt worry about getting back to his apartment. fuck his landlord and the damn bills.)

I loveee the update! even in my 3rd repeat of reading I still get awed by the way you write😭. Also after I finished reading I kept on thinking about how cool it would be if a new kid whose always nervous and kindof a loser at first but with a good heart-(I made my oc like that for extra spice✨) - would become cold and calculating like Kile and gabe at the end cause of what they're about to go through(and also maybe because of Kile and gabe's influence lol) . Sort of like a corruption au😭. AKSJSKSJ the game could end in so many ways and I'm so excited for it to be released💗💗

thank you for the kind words!! 🥰🥰 there are quite a few variables that track things in a way that could probably be interpreted as "corruption." i mean, honestly... the whole story's kind of about that! it's why the MC starts the game with (albeit, accidental) blood on their hands. It automatically is no longer a question of whether your hometown or your school or your hormones or w/e will corrupt you. You start corrupted. Things soon become about how far you allow yourself to descend into corruption.

i just love that kind of theme 😊
