Okay, idk what has changed, but I’ve been having the best luck finding dolls and furbies since like late July 😭 someone in my town posted this box of MH stuff for relatively cheap compared to other listings, so I went and picked them up. The box was so heavy I could barely carry it inside 😭 my shoulder still hurts and probably will continue hurting throughout tomorrow. I didn’t know there were like ~90 DOLLS until I opened it at home!!!

There were a lot that were on my ISO list as well as some that I’m probably gonna sell due to having doubles/triples. It took me hours to sort through them all and organize the accessories/limbs and furniture. I also tried matching clothing/limbs to some dolls, but I needed to quit so I could sleep. (I’m gonna actually go to bed after I post this lol) I’m gonna continue sorting and start cleaning them tomorrow 👍

so I’ve been hanging out a lot on the doll Reddit’s lately and I’ve been really enjoying myself especially the rainbow high and Barbie Reddits, but I realized it would be cool to also have somewhere where I could post about all of those things in the same place too. I wanted to give Jasper a non art hobby and eventually thought of gardening. I think it's a nice fit :)

For Chance it was an easy decision. I watched a trailer for a Umamusume movie and thought it was sooo cool, I wanted to try something similar for Chance I'm having trouble figuring out colours tho...

Gavin was also a tough one to figure out since he's also very art/design focused like Jasper, but since he's a porcelain doll I thought pottery could be a nice fit (not the most original but whatever lol)

this was not supposed to be a doll tumblr but dolls (specifically the lines that i care about) have moved from hyperfixation to special interest and they’re what i think abt 80% of the time my brain is not focused on important tasks LOL

i mean i have always liked dolls (when i was younger my favorites were lalaloopsys. cant believe i got rid of them, i had so many and i miss them everyday now😥) i just appreciate the process of bringing a doll into fruition so much more now.

but,, i promise i like other things,,,, like art! even tho all ive been drawing lately are doll faces in order to be more confident in my outcomes when i start customizing dolls 😅
