s3 has potential to be really cool and fun and romantic I genuinely mean this. despite its flaws s2 acts effectively as a lead-in to another, more dramatic plotline re: heaven and hell. I don't think we need this or that their characters really would have gone in this direction, but if s3 drops I'd watch it. hopefully it would skip the cringe dialogue and distractingly cgi of s1, but another run at the themes could be a good time. not that it's NECESSARY because we literally already did this whole thing already in s1 but! a modicum of faith has been restored so I'll check it out
