I truly one hundred percent believe that Andor, if it hasnt already, is gonna be known as THE BEST Star Wars television content. Some people will argue that title would go to either The Mandalorian or The Clone Wars and honestly if I didn't follow Andor as faithfully as I did then I would be one of the people saying that The Clone Wars Is the best. Andor some very intense depth to it and it felt the most real. Cassian's friends on ferrix feel like they could be your friends or family especially in the season finale. Just like Maarva, Cassian's friends still love him despite some things he's done and respect him so much for wanting to come to his mother's funeral even though he's a wanted man and honestly, my friends would do the same.
The Character development in this show is absolutely amazing, not just the best in any Star Wars Television series but the best in any piece of Star Wars content period. Every single thing Cass goes through helps him to grow and gives him a similar journey Jynn went through to realize just how important it is to fight against the evil of the Empire. I really think his experience in the prison is what set him on the path to truly be a rebel. Sure he was against the empire before but he only did things that benefitted him like when he took the job to rob the imperial payroll. It's when they arrested him as a "tourist" for just witnessing something and sent him to a prison where he witnessed more of the empires cruelty that convinced him that there's more to fight for than just himself and his mission to find his sister. (which was never talked about again after the first two episodes for whatever reason) Speaking of the prison episodes, that was one of the most inspiring and also most heartbreaking parts of the whole show. Kino Loy went on the second best character developing journeys in the show. He went from an ass kissing supervisor to a man who's had enough and showed just how much he cared for his fellow inmates and led a prison break so these people could go back to living a normalish life. Watching him go through that growth made it so heartbreaking when he couldn't escape with everyone else just because he couldn't swim but in the end he was happy because his fellow inmates were given a second chance and he was the one who gave them that chance.
Let's talk about Luthen for a moment... I FUCKING LOVE LUTHEN. From his upbeat persona as a shop keep to a man who has sacrificed more than we'll ever know to be a contributing party to starting a rebellion in order to free the galaxy from tyranny. That speech he gave to the dude in the elevator... Wow that shit gave me chills.
It was also interesting to follow Mon Mothmas story. I like to think of her story in this show as an origin of a rebellion leader and like Luthen risks everything including her life and that of her families for a cause she believes in. Im really hoping we'll be able to see her and saw meet and eventually have a disagreement about how each of them do things.
The places we go to and visit in this series also makes this show feel more like star wars than anything else since the clone wars and possibly rebels. I think by far my favorite place in the show is ferrix because of how close everyone there is and how moving it is when they all come together in the end.
There's alot more to say about this show but I feel like if I don't stop here I probably never will. Over all I give this show a 9 out of 10. Everything about it is very well done however, the packing at some parts gets a little slower than necessary and after a certain amount of time it feels like we're made to stop wondering or caring about what happened to Cassian's sister.
Im very much looking forward to season two. I feel like the second season is when shit is really gonna go down. Now Ferrix has really had enough of the empires shit and Maarvas speech at the end was enough to light a fire in their hearts. I can't wait to see where we go and what we do next.

Mon Mothma's call-out against Palpatine was fucking awesome.
Mon Mothma made this statement in public then made a run for it.
"I name the Emperor, himself, for ordering the brutal attacks on the people of Ghorman. Their peaceful world is one of countless systems helpless against his oppressive rule. This massacre is proof that our self-appointed Emperor, is little more than a lying executioner, imposing his tyranny under the pretense of security. We cannot allow this evil to stand."
She was someone from the top openly declaring her allegiance with the Rebellion.
"This is Senator Mon Mothma, I have been called a traitor for speaking out against a corrupt Galactic Senate. A Senate manipulated by the sinister tactics of the Emperor. For too long I have watched the heavy hand of the Empire strangle our liberties, stifling our freedoms in the name of ensuring our safety. No longer! Despite Imperial threats, despite the Emperor himself, I have no fear as I take new action. For I am not alone. Beginning today we stand together as allies. I hereby resign from the Senate to fight for you, not from the distant hall of politics but from the front lines. We will not rest until we bring an end to the Empire, until we restore our Republic! Are you with me?"
And I love this brief moment here because Captain Rex is there to witness her transmission, a message that went out to trillions of people and made her a fugitive from the Empire.
Her actions put her life in danger but gave rebel cells across the galaxy the courage to unite against the Empire.
She became leader of the Rebel Alliance, fought back against the Empire, and won.

Wandor Wednesday Wars, Vol. 1 - Fist fight
That's right, kids. We're bringing back Wandor Wednesday in a big way.
It's time to put those guys in some situations. Situation number one, as voted by you lovely people, is a "no-rules" fist fight. I've put "no-rules" in quotes because I'm thinking of this competition as a Fight Club style brawl, and as we all know, there is a rule in Fight Club (but we won't talk about it).
But that's about all you need to know about how to think about your votes -- who do you think would score a knockout in a bare-knuckle, anything-goes fight? NO WEAPONS ALLOWED! (I guess technically that's another rule...)
Here is the bracket for the first showdown, with completely random seeding and matchups:
It's hard to read, but here are the matches for round one, for which voting will begin very shortly:
Karis Nemik vs. Cassian Andor
Cinta Kaz vs. Syril Karn
Gorn vs. Partagaz
Taramyn Barcona vs. Time Grappler
Maarva Andor vs. Mon Mothma
Tay Kolma vs. Dedra Meero
Ruescott Melshi vs. Wilmon Paak
Taga vs. Arvel Skeen
Ulaf vs. Linus Mosk
Vel Sartha vs. Corv
Kino Loy vs. Lonni Jung
Brasso vs. Timm Karlo
Bix Caleen vs. Xaul
Kleya Marki vs. B2EMO
Eedy Karn vs. Perrin Fertha
Luthen Rael vs. Saw Gerrera
Thank you to @armoralor for the awesome last-minute graphic! (And please contact @ireallyamabear for unsanctioned betting.)
Let the games begin....
#oh man there are some fun matchups here#cinta vs syril?#brasso vs timm?#eedy vs perrin???? lmao#there's a lot that i can't really predict and i enjoy that#wandor wednesday wars#i expect you all to be sharing your thoughts on these#don't just vote and go#tell me WHY#share!! interact!!!#andor#star wars#poll tournament

Mon Mothma wife oc headcanons!
I got an anon asking about my idea for the Mon Mothma’s wife character i drew(art of her down below), so I decided to make a sort of general ideas for her/headcanons post. I would love to develop this further and do more art for this character/story in the future when I have time!
Vague story and headcanons:
So 100% she is made out of spite bc Mon’s husband in the show is a total asshole and she deserves better hahahahha.
She is Pantoran, and maybe was a bodyguard or smth for a Pantoran senator who Mon had dealings with, and perhaps they met that way somehow? Maybe at an informal party or something lol.
She got involved with Mon and therefore with the rebellion, and as she was maybe a solider at some point, she proved to be effective in war tactics stuff for the rebellion and so naturally became a general in the rebellion maybe?
Once they became well acquainted, she accompanies Mon to senate meetings too. Two well dressed senators. Power couple.
She can then also act as Mon’s bodyguard. Idk if they would keep their relationship a secret. Probably not, i don’t want that. Let them be out.
Don’t fuck with Mon when she’s in her presence, this oc would probably have a really great death glare hahaha like dont fuck with us we are too smart for you vibes.
While Mon is talking to politicians, many of whom she probably despises but has to maintain the polite facade, the oc is next to her just listening and observing 👀 and listening, and picks up on things that Mon may miss. She’s more the quiet type, but fiercely(in a healthy, supportive way) protective of her wife. And loves analyzing and learning dirty politicians secrets. 🤣
Perhaps she eventually has to forsake her presence at the senate in favour of devoting all her time to the rebellion tho, so then Mon and her are kinda long distance. But they make it work bc they are awesome and bad ass.
And she would totally just naturally fall into a role in the rebellion working with Bail and Mon. Imagine Bail, Breha, Mon and this oc would be a power group.
Also, i am debating on making this oc quite tall, maybe taller than i drew her? Would that be interesting or too much lol. Also i havent decided on a name yet lol.
So yeah, these are the vague ideas I had so far! Stuff is subject to change for sure but hopefully this isnt too cringe.
Special ty to @sunflowersinheaven and @lightasthesun for encouraging me with this character and helping me develop ideas lol. And if anyone else has any ideas or anything too lmk!! I’d love it this is collaborative somehow! 😄 And im always looking for inspiration.

Rebels Rewatch: "Crawler Commandeers"
The calm before the storm...
I actually do not have a live reaction version of this one, huh.
Ryder's misgivings with their circumstances showing even more. You know, I bet if they could have avoided showing footage of him helping in the attack on the Dome in the finale trailers, they could have sold the red herring of his "defection" even more.
You know, really make us worry for a moment there. XD
What's with that look, Sabine? Lol.
A very slow and strained Ezra's Theme in minor key as they observe the ore crawler here.
And a similarly strained and altered "Shenanigans". We are just putting all the serious musical modifications on the leitmotifs today.
Meanwhile at the Dragging Their Feet HQ...
Interesting that they specifically cite Thrawn's presence as a reason to be hesitant to attack. The man spooks them so much they're afraid to move. Anything they do can wind up giving something away to him that he can use later to destroy them. This is reminiscent of their paralysis when confronted with the knowledge of the Death Star in Rouge One. The Rebel Alliance know they're hopelessly outgunned, they know it's a hard fight, but it isn't until you're actually staring down the barrel of the full huge might of the Empire that you realize just how big and overwhelming the threat is.
And it's hard to figure out what to do in the face of such overwhelming odds. Which is why every so often the Rebellion needed its firebrands and Jedi to reject fear and spurn action into them.
You know... I think Hera told Ezra about the Alliance's long debate over this attack and that's what made him decide that Thrawn needed to be taken off the board permanently. Which is one reason why he was okay with sacrificing himself to take Thrawn out.
Ezra with another cute "Lookit my girl go!" look, and in my head I'm hearing his bragging, "Those troopers are in trouble now." from "Ghosts of Geonosis".
The way she effortlessly takes out those two droids is pretty impressive.
Lol the Trandoshan is listening to Zeb's favorite band, it sounds like.
Once again showing off the smaller more wirey members of the species. Wonder how many mental comparisons Ezra was making. (He worked briefly with Bossk in the junior novel Ezra's Gamble, Bossk being a much taller and heavier Trandoshan than this Mining Guild shrimp.)
Ha ha Ezra just straight up clotheslining him, awesome.
Big fan of the absolute chagrin in Ezra's face as he attempts his bluff here, he already knew this effort was doomed before he started lol.
Seevor's so offended too.
You guys really should have knocked this guy out from the outset. Just saying.
The steam effects are perfect. But then mist and cloud has always been a strength of this show.
Hi Vizago!
Lolol and I just thought of how this had to sound to Kanan all of a sudden he hears this loud familiar voice, he can't even see how excited Vizago is to see him but his WTF expression is perfect.
Oh and here's one of my favorite Zeb moments this season!
First giving him a badass entrance--"Drop the whip and step away from my friend you knuckle-brained lizard!" is an amazing line, I should rewatch this episode more often I'd completely forgotten it--and then we proceed into a very knock-down bare-knuckle outright brawl between Zeb and someone finally in his weight class.
The way Ezra just grabs Seevor's collar and drags him is sending me.
Seriously though, just stun him. Your blaster does have a stun function yes? Does it not work on Trandoshans?
Gilligan Cut to Kanan and Zeb clearly NOT being fine lol.
The comedy is On Point this episode.
I've already mentioned how I love this brawl so I'll just enjoy it and move on.
Meanwhile on Yavin, Mon Mothma is putting an official name to the Empire's habit of withdrawing its own forces before launching a major attack. "Protocol 13". The complete evacuation of an occupied world by Imperial forces.
So now you're left to Fridge Horror exactly which planet is on the chopping block. Chandrilla? Ghorman? Alderaan? The official timeline (which I don't ascribe to anyway because of NUMEROUS problems and inconsistencies) places this episode very close to Year Zero, within smelling distance of the Battle of Yavin, so the Empire's new plan is almost assuredly the Death Star.
Anyway Hera's convinced to go in and make her speech of hope. It's only too bad that they're facing Thrawn for this sortie. He keeps things at the Alliance at an impasse with his presence. Can't let his TIE Defenders go into production, can't attack his forces outright.
The Immovable Object to Ezra's Unstoppable Force.
Vizago and Hondo would get along immaculately. Actually kind of weird that Vizago's developed into a Hondo-like personality when he was so cold and chilling at the beginning of Season One but again I point to "The Empire makes all other threats into miniscule nuisances" and also he's clearly been in contact with Ezra too long, everyone softens around him lol.
My son with his impressive glares again. <3
And the plan is once again to bluff the Empire, and it's mostly a good plan, aside from the fact that they still haven't stunned the damn crawler captain.
Oh good! Zeb went and knocked him out again.
Don't mind me I just like this shot of Ezra readying his lightsaber.
And Seevor has turned internal saboteur. Man's dedicated to his job.
Sabine looking entirely too amused to make Ezra go in the vents, just like the old days.
But also:
*CRIES IN FINALE*
These shafts don't look as ah... sanitary as the ones Ezra's used to crawling through.
It was a nice touch that Ezra totally knew Seevor was there before he could attack. Force Sense warned him, it's implied.
HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE HORROR MOVIE PORTION OF THIS EPISODE.
When these clips were shown in the trailer I genuinely thought Seevor was Ruhk it was so hard to see him.
Again, Ezra senses the attack a hair before it happens.
People weirdly thought Ezra went briefly Dark Side again right here? Because they thought he manipulated his dropped saber into Seevor's foot path, sending him into the furnace, plus the dark humor comment later.
...I both do and don't see it. I see how it would certainly look like Ezra deliberately moved his saber somehow to make him slip but... I dunno I can't square it away with how he's been characterized for the most part. I'm going to settle on a maybe.
Sabine looks so happy for him, awww.
OHHHHH NO NO NO, SHOW. SHOW. YOU HAD TO KNOW WHAT YOU WERE DOING WHEN YOU HAD EZRA SAY, "YOU CAN COUNT ON US." WHILE LOOKING SIGNIFICANTLY AT SABINE.
Hhhhhhngnghhfhfffff my heart I ache now. Everything is so hopeful and optimistic it huuuuuuuurts.
This is a fun one. A bit silly in places, but entertaining. Lots of good moments for characters and unlike "The Wynkahthu Job" I don't want to slap anyone upside the head.

The Republic, the Jedi Order and Slavery
So I have seen some discussions on the matter of the Jedi, Slavery and the Republic that I think would be interesting to explore from a legal point of view just to get a little bit outside the blame game going on in the fandom.
First off I think what we need to remember is that slavery, while being banned in the republic it is tolerated on worlds associated with it but that are too distant for the core to bother to enforce their own laws there, like Tatooine. The Republic tacitly recognizes the Hutt and others Empires who support slavery even if it isn´t official or legal. So right there we have a big plot hole into Repblican legislation and law enforcement.
This means that on Tatooine is completely legal to own, blown up, buy or sell people as property and it´s a practice so widespread there are actual space pirates who dedicate themselves to capture and sell people for this same end, this was the case of Shmi Skywalker who was born a free person but who was captured and sold to Gardulla´s the Hutt and her Son, Anakin, who was born a slave.
But this isn´t the case inside the Republic, much less on Coruscant, at least in the bare bones of their laws, so what happened to the Clone Army? Why no one, not even the principled Senators like Padme, Bail Organa or Mon Mothma were calling them a slave army? I believe the problem comes from the fact the clones, just like the droids, are not fully recognized as individuals with rights acording to Republican laws, when a member of a respected organization like the Jedi Order, Master sifo Dias, can use Republic credits to buy an army for a war that didn´t even exist until Dooku created the Separatist faction and no one raises an eyebrow, it means the Republic recognizes their purchase as legal within the law, which means they aren not recognized as sentient beings and the Clone Army are not citizens of the Republic but a property bought by Republican Credits with the Jedi Order acting as an intermediary.
This is my pet peeve when it comes to the Jedi Order in the Prequels, because they are not being actively evil, they didn´t order or buy the clone army, all of this was part of Palpatine´s and Dooku´s plans but by accepting the clone army they legally became the owners of the Clone Troopers.
In this instance it doesn´t matter much if they like them or treat them well, I love the fact Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan and Plo Kloon have an awesome relationship with their troopers in general but the deeper issues stays the same, they are not recognized citizens of the republic by law and they are owned by the Republic and the Jedi Order, to give an example of this problem: Watto also liked Shmi and Anakin and actually asisted Shmi´s marriage with Cliegg Lars after he freed her in legends canon, that didn´t mean he didn´t have the legal right to blown both of them up if he thought it was neccesary as their slave owner and that´s exactly the same problem the Jedi have, they are legally the owners of the clone army.
My other pet peeve was that instead of talking about this very serious issue or making a formal investigation because this was looking too suspicious, the Jedi Council, including Obi-Wan and Yoda, were more concerned about them losing their place as peace keepers by becoming members of the Republican army than by becoming owners of hundreds of people from one day to another and I could actually think this was just a plot hole in Lucas narrative but the problem is that this is actually talked as an issue by the Clones in the Clone War series, even more, Lucas originally thought to skip the use of the chip and have the Clone Army voluntarily attack the Jedi in Order 66 because their loyalty was to the Republic not to the Jedi Order, which says a lot about issues between them.
So the Jedi didn´t just renounce their right to have a political voice inside the Senate, they also skip over or just plain never talked about their responsibility as owners of sentient beings, yes, this was part of Palpatine´s trap for them, they were done for the moment they accepted the army because they were left vulnerable to an attack like Order 66 but they were still an semi independent institution within the Republic who certainly had the means to discover the truth, they just choose to let it lie until they could win the war and that moment never came.
Now another interesting discussion is that some fans make a relation between the Clone Army being a slave army and the Jedi being obliterated by the Republican army and I think this take is forgetting the canon reason why Palpatine could legally give the Order 66.
The Jedi Order being attacked with Order 66 didn´t have anything to do with them being owners of the clone army but Order 66 was legal within the Republican law post clone wars, why? because they became virtual members of the army when they became generals, this means they were subject to the Republic as members of their army and once they attacked the Chancellor of the Republic they officially became a Rogue army that needed to be put under control. The Jedi were no longer seen as civilians or diplomats or a religious order but a rogue military that was a menace for the Republic, this was the reason most of the corrupted Senate supported this action and not even Padme´s and Bail´s group could stop this because it was a "legal action" within the Republican laws as they stood post Clone Wars. Consider that even the founders of the rebel alliance were doubtful about the Jedi´s support to tackle Palpatine´s political power beyond those they knew personally, like Obi-Wan or Anakin and that Master Windu didn´t even consider to contact trusted members of the Senate because he considered them too corrupt to truly tackle Palpatine, that´s how distant the Jedi Order had become from non- force sensitive people, even members of the senate.
So I agree with the sector of the fans that are of the oppinion the Jedi´s problem was that they didn´t involve themselves enough in politics and that was the main reason why Palpatine could take over their entire organization so easily once he had enough support of the Senate because yes, he was attacked by the Council of Jedi Masters and Yes it was because he was a Sith but also yes, that´s a coup d'etat which was ilegal and punished within Republican law and Master Windu felt there was no other option because yes, the Jedi didn´t involve themselves in politics and that made sure the Senate had virtual control over all of them even in the case of naming them rogue.
Now a curious thing that happens with laws is that they just won´t go away when they became part of the legislation until there´s a change in legislation and in the comics Darth Vader as the last member of the Jedi, member of the Sith Order and part of the military of the Empire is also subjected to the previous Jedi Order´s check and balances, anytime the Emperor considers he´s become rogue, he has the right to pursue him with all the power of the Empire and the army can be used to stop him including the stromtroopers even those who are loyal to Vader.
I think this is interesting because Vader has both the power of the second in command of the Empire, he´s the "Emperor´s voice" but also one of the most precarious positions within it´s power structure and I don´t think Palpatine did this just to be a dick to his apprentice, which he can be for shit and giggles but because Vader´s position allows him to be a serious contender for the throne if an admiral or grand moff ever considered to make an alliance with him, this way he assures himself his position as Emperor, Vader is virtually isolated from the admirals and stromtroopers even if Vader truly is loyal to the Emperor and the admirals/grand moffs/etc get the message that if the Emperor is ready to do this to Vader who´s almost fanatically loyal to Palpatine, to his second in command, his literal voice, who has access to all high levels meetings, "his favorite" then what hope do they have to try something like that? It´s better to keep being close to the Emperor and follow his rules.
Palpatine as Emperor is still playing the same politics and the only way to change this was by making legislation changes, which could be done in the Republic by a Jedi Order associated with the Senate and with the imperial Senate before the Emperor disolved it.
If Star Wars was a political thriller like the Cassian Andor and to a less extend the clone wars series it would be interesting to explore the story from this pov but given the narrative is looked more like a mythical story, most of those issues are hinted but not developed much beyond what serves the narrative.
I think it´s worth discussing those issues and what they said about the society pictured in the prequels because Lucas definitely didn´t write them as a perfect society that existed protected by the Jedi Order before the evil Emperor took over, this version is mostly Obi-Wan being romantic with the past he misses, Lucas very much added a lot of issues to explain how a society like the Republic, Jedi Order included, became a dictatorship and it doesn´t need to begin with a big bad evil wizard but mostly that same society ethical issues, especially those it refuses to recognize.

"Ahsoka" Review
Lars and Eman were perfect as Thrawn and Ezra. They are those characters and I will not take criticism. More of my thoughts below.
Overall, I give this show an 7.5/10. I enjoyed it more than Mando S3, BoBF, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, but not as much as Andor or the first 2 seasons of Mando. As a Rebels fan, I was overjoyed to see my fave characters like Hera and Sabine return. Just seeing them warmed my heart. When Thrawn showed up, my heart leaped out of my chest. I could not believe that I was seeing Mitth'raw'nuruodo himself in live-action.
Okay, I'm just going to put my Thrawn takes out there (please do not come after me. This is my opinion and I respect anyone who disagrees):
I love Canon Book Thrawn so much. I admire him. I relate to him. I love him. Thrawn in the Canon books is amazing. I enjoy his relationships with Thalias, Eli, and Ar'alani. I love how he mentors Che'ri and Eli. I love that he seeks to protect his people. I love how he is an art nerd and has the craziest plans.
But in "Ahsoka," every time he said "long, live the empire," I wanted to toss my screen. I understand he was closer to his Legends counterpart and I am still excited to see where his character goes I just miss his canon book version.
That being said, I LOVED Lars as Thrawn. There is no doubt in my mind that he IS Thrawn. Voice aside, everything from his mannerisms to composure was perfect. I can't picture anyone else in this role nor do I want anyone else. Lars is able to capture Thrawn's subtle expressions so perfectly and I had a blast watching him every time when he was on screen.
Moving on
Of the new characters, Baylan Skoll was my favorite. Ray Stevenson portrayed him with such grace and elegance. He was mysterious and much welcomed addition to Star Wars. I thought his philosophy was unique and I appreciated that he wasn't an all-out bad guy. I do hope they continue his story and not drop it completely. Rest in peace Ray.
Honestly, I felt that Shin wasn't explored enough for me to really enjoy her. I think she is interesting and there's a lot of potential regarding her inner conflict. I hope season 2 really delves into that. Why did she join Baylon? What power does she seek?
Morgan and the Nightsisters were just really cool to me. The magic they utilized was awesome and the rise of the zombie troopers was spooky.
Also, the music! The Kiners really popped off. I genuinely loved the end credits theme so much. That and the integration of themes were great.
However, I am not a fan of Sabine being force-sensitive. It doesn't make sense in my opinion. It was never hinted at in Rebels and her relationship with Ahsoka feels kinda shoehorned in. I wish we saw what led to her becoming Ahsoka's apprentice. Sabine is already a cool character. Why does she need the force?
Ahsoka in the earlier episodes also was kinda bland. But after episode 5, she felt more like herself. I get that she's not going to be the same as her younger self, but she always had a warmth to her, even when she was serious and I missed that. Rosario still killed it though. I really enjoyed episode 5 with the Clone Wars live-action representation. I know some people really want that but I think it should stay animated.
The lore with the new galaxy was also really cool. It opens the doors to so much storytelling and I love the impact it will have on our heroes. It seems that the Nightsisters and the Mortis gods came from there.
Action was cool, I miss my space husbands, Mon Mothma was cool, and I do think they should stop using the dome for many shots.
Overall, a fun time and I'm excited for what comes next.

im gonna combUst aaaa i have so many wuestions abt dtar wars so ill send them in 1 ask
what's carls role?
What's Markus's role? Norths? Simons? Joshs? (i personally think itd be badass if north was an assassain turned rebel or something similar to Ventress clone wars, or the Jericrew is like the Bad Batch)
does todd play a part in the AU with karas story?
do connor and markus meet?
i think it'd be a cool plot twist if amanda waz like Admiral Thrawn, only force-sensitive and fully capable of weilding the Dark Saber, and she has to fight Nines and Connor, easily overpowering them until DUN DUN DUN.... queue Hank with Elijah, Amanda's former Padawan and essentially Walmart Anakin but actually smart and able to handle his emotions. And together, the four overpower Amanda and defeat her. They don't kill her, instead she kills herself by stabbing herself in the gut with her own saber, as she'd rather die than betray the Empire.
ohhhh yess you let's go!!
Carl is a Senator in the senate or works as a diplomat for one of the Inner Rim planets. He does what he can to make sure the Empire doesn't have complete rule over the galaxy's citizens but he recognizes that there's only so much an old man can do for an abandoned democracy. His role becomes like that of Mon Mothma's in Andor. Keeping up a facade of an old and naive man who's actions don't gain much traction in the Senate but is actually supporting the Rebellion and is trying to do his part in reclaiming a free galaxy once again. Once his he hears that his old aide has been spotted working for the Rebellion, his efforts double and he takes a 'personal leave' some time before the completion of the first Death Star and then drops off the grid. Markus worries as he has not heard news of Senator Manfred for some time but his worries are laid to rest when he walks into the hangar one day to find Carl already waiting for him there.
I LOVE the idea of the Jericrew being like the Bad Batch!! That'd be AWESOME!! I picture Markus starting off as a Rebel cell leader and then the bigger and more dangerous their missions become he gains more trust and traction in the Rebellion. Soon enough he becomes one of it's Captains and he has a whole battalion assigned to him. He is Jericho Four - North is the kick-ass muscle of the group. Grew up on the streets and won't hesitate to cut a bitch. North having a story similar to Ventress is super fucking cool and i love that. Don't have much story in mind for her right now, it's still up in the air but im open to suggestions! At one point tho she and Chloe get together. Not sure how. She is Jericho Two -Josh is the tech support. For the most part, grew up in a normal family but experienced the War just like everyone else. Times were hard and he believed that he just had to wait it out and then everything would be better. If only he could hold on a little longer in peace and silent resolute strength, then it would be alright. But he learned the hard way that standing by and doing nothing wasn't going to achieve the changes he wanted to see. He still refuses to pick up a blaster or any weapon really, but is not against self defense. He prefers to offer support and stay out of the line of fire. He is Jericho Three -And Simon is the Jack of All Trades. He has little information here and there about the most random of topics and it's not until later that Markus finds out that he used to be a tutor/study aide for a high class family on Mandalore. Which is how he knows so much stuff. It makes Markus fall in love a little bit more. He is Jericho One
I have no big plans for Todd in this au. At most he'd probably be a side character who pushes the plot forward, somewhere in Kara's story and will probably pop up at one point in Connor's. But again for plot reasons.
Do Connor and Markus meet???.............. .......possibly who's to say??
AND DAAAaaaaammmnnn that'd be one hell of a story! I'd certainly read that!! And my dude, if you got any ideas for a Star Wars au as well i would LOVE to hear it!! And Amanda would fall on her own saber. She would do it to also be petty and try to give one last traumatic memory to Nines and Connor before going out. It's what she'd want. (bitch)

For the deep fic writer asks:
10. how has writing positively impacted your mental health or overall mood?
11. Has a fic you’ve written ever caused issues/controversy?
Thank you 🤗
Ah thank you so much for these asks tonight! So much fun to think about this stuff.
10. how has writing positively impacted your mental health or overall mood?
I love this question because it is an awesome thing to think about. For me, the best thing about writing fanfic is rediscovering my love of writing in general. English was always my favorite class in high school, and I wrote short stories and things in creative writing that I loved back then. It was really fun. Hobbies should be fun and positive, and if they aren’t, they aren’t really hobbies but chores. Writing is a great outlet for me, escapist and challenging. I love to make things happen that didn’t happen before thanks to a story. It’s so rewarding. Luke/Mara sex pollen? Sure. Thrawn/Pryce in quarantine? Sure. #itdidntexistsoiwroteit is one of my favorite tags.
Apart from the stories themselves and the act of writing being enjoyable, I have made a lot of wonderful friends in this community (and others!). One of my first online fandom friends I met for the first time at my wedding reception hahaha and the small group of my fic buddies are invariably supportive, encouraging, and sympathetic no matter if the topic is real life madness or characters refusing to obey the almighty author. My tumblr friends are awesome, and everyone who takes a chance to read my stories are simply gifts to me as a writer.
Also I really do enjoy reading my own stories. I am not shy or modest about this. I LOVE MY FIC because if I didn’t why would I write it?! That is super fun for me to revisit and reread and be proud of something that didn’t exist until I wrote it 😊
This may be a good place to mention that if writing is NEGATIVELY impacting your mood or mental health, you should step away, take a break, consider what is having that effect. For any writers struggling to feel that joy again (due to lack of engagement or toxicity or whatever), I suggest you write a fic and don’t post it, keep it just for yourself (personally I think everyone should have at least one fic that’s “just for you”—it’s like a secret indulgence and a great reminder of why we should be writing—for ourselves!). I mean, I play piano as a hobby. I definitely don’t want to share my ivory tickling on youtube or whatever, that would add pressure and misery and suck the joy out. So remember it’s all about the joy.
11. Has a fic you’ve written ever caused issues/controversy?
YES actually. What an interesting thing to think about! I had forgotten but polled some friends and remembered a few…. These are minor controversies though, nothing like fissures in the space/time continuum or anything, more like hiccups in the tumblrsphere…
Back in 2019, I wrote a Luke/Ahsoka fic (I think it was the first one for the ship on Ao3, or one of them) and I got some tumblr hate which was fun to smack down. People outed themselves as ageist and misogynist and, well, you can read my response here.
I had a similar reaction to my Luke/Mon Mothma fic. Basically, I am militant that fanfic is for fun and you should write whatever the fuck you want. I have no obligation to conform my stories to anyone’s expectations and refuse to do so. Also Luke/Ahsoka is a GREAT SHIP you can’t change my mind haahah as is Luke/Mon, why can’t she get some Jedi loving?!
More recently, I understand there was some fandom kerfuffle around my Thrawn/Sabine story. Again this had to do with age differences and the idea that professors/students is verboten blah blah blah.
All I have to say to that is if you see a rated E fic tagged “hot for teacher” and you want to complain to the author that it’s about a student banging her teacher, you have issues requiring addressing that are beyond my expertise.
me @ the negativity
Thank you so much for these asks tonight @guestiguess! I am enjoying them immensely! Hope you enjoyed the answers!

Random thoughts while watching Daughter of Ferrix:
*Maarva’s droid’s reaction to her death was most interesting. It was one part denial, but it was also apparent to me that B2EMO was grieving Marva’s passing which means that droids, or at least this one, are sentient. This makes using them as subservient beings with restraining bolts problematic as sentience would make this a particularly troubling form of slavery. This brings a lot into question in regards to the basic rights of droids in the Star Wars universe.
*I find it interesting that Ferrix custom necessitates those that have passed on to be turned into brick to make buildings or walls. Creepy, but it actually seems a lot more practical than burying someone 6 feet underground in a box.
*Bix looks f*^%ing awful. Like, holy shit! It’s crazy what the Empire has done to her. Worth noting, however, that all of this started because her boyfriend was a rat fascist bootlicker that squealed on Cassian because he was jealous of their non-relationship, and had he not done it, none of this would have happened. Make sure never to date fascist bastards, kids. It never ends well.
*Mon Mothma just keeps spiraling. The walls are closing in on her, and the weight is more than anyone should be forced to bare. The scene with Vel where Mon’s pounding wine, and watching her daughter engage in cult-like activities is painful. The fact that she’s actually considering selling her child down river to save her own ass is absolutely mind-boggling. Damn. It’s ripping her soul apart.
*Linus Mosk placed that call to Syril on AT&T’s network. I didn’t know that was Star Wars cannon, but there’s no other explanation. That trash service could only originate from one carrier.
*Saw Gerrera is such a loose cannon. I feel like Steela’s death broke his mind. It was the only logical reason why her character was sacrificed in the way that she was. Luthen seems to be one of the only people that knows how to deal with his paranoia and utter psychosis.
*Luthen’s ship….Holy f*^%! The droid navigation was pretty dope. The interior was posh and warm. But the defenses… the shrapnel that destroyed the tractor beam was insane, but the f*^%ing lasers (which I assume are kyber crystals-um, lightsabers) were next-tier badass. Holy shit! If I could chose one ship in the Star Wars universe to call my own, it would be Luthen’s. All other ships pale in comparison.
*My heart broke for Cassian when he found out about his mother’s passing.
I can’t believe I only have one more episode of this until 2024. My heart is sad. This show has showed me how awesome Star Wars can be. I already can’t wait until it’s back, and it isn’t even over yet.

Hype levels for new Star Wars projects
So everyone who follows the Galaxy Far Far Away is probably aware that certain announcements were made at the Star Wars Celebration; we got some new project announcements, new info about those already announced, and since I need to vent my thoughts a little, here are some of my rambles:
Rey's Jedi Order Even though I do acknowledge their flaws, I'm a very sequel trilogy-positive guy. And this is exactly what I wanted. It gives us another chance to see things the new trilogy didn't deliver - I'm especially hoping to see Finn as a Jedi. The choice of director is already sparking outrage among anti-sjw fanboys, which is a good sign. Hype level: 9
Ahsoka I just don't fucking know. It was originally supposed to be a sequel to Rebels, but every new info makes it look more like a convoluted clusterfuck of half a dozen stories loosely connected by Ahsoka's character. Are those like... Dark Jedi or wtf? Are they trying to somewhat revive old Legends? I'd love to be wrong but every new info makes me more worried. At least Sabine looks great. Hype level: 5
The First Jedi Now this is interesting. We're finally leaving the Skywalker timeline into a very distant past. This has a potential to be VERY good, seeing the day one of the Jedi order. I just hope they won't cling to old Legends much and bring something new to the table. Hype level: 7
Filoni's Mandoverse movie The heroes of the Filoniverse join forces to defeat the Imperial remnant once for all. IMO, Filoni grew too complacent and dependant on the fact his fanboys will worship him and kiss his ass no matter how mediocre his content is. So I have no reason to think it'll be anything different than Infinity War-style playground for Filoni's pet characters. Hype level: 3
Acolyte Another thing I'm very much looking forward to. The cast looks awesome, and so do the story snippets we got so far. And it's the High Republic era! Plus points for another Wookiee Jedi joining Gungi and Burryaga. Also, I'm a devout Light-sider, but I'll gladly watch a thing from the bad guys' POV. Hype level: 8
Skeleton Crew Frankly, I have no idea what to expect here. Some sources claim it's for younger audience, but so were Rebels and look how awesome they were. I'll just form no opinions until more info comes to hand. Hype level: 4
Andor season 2 NOW WE'RE TALKING. Give me Andor or give me death. All our beloveds are there. Space incel & his fasho GF, space lesbians, Mon Mothma, Cassian and also the biggest Queen of them all which is Bix Caleen. If it's even half as good as S1, we're in for a RIDE. I'd gladly postpone any of the above to have Andor sooner. One way out. Fuck the Empire. Hype level: 10
Feel free to discuss or add your own ranking!

The Mosley Review: Star Wars: Andor
For the longest time, the quality of the Star Wars franchise has been lackluster. In animation it has had no equal, but in live action there has been a dramatic decline in storytelling and growth. The Mandalorian was that wake up call that breathed new life into the galaxy, The Book of Boba Fett made the air a little foul and most recently Obi-Wan Kenobi made it go stale. The hope for great stories in the franchise that challenged you the viewer and its characters was fleeting. This new series was the last beacon of light that could either reinvigrate the galaxy or just plunge it even deeper into despair. Well I am so happy to say that this series did the former and brought Star Wars into the realm of more adult storytelling that I've wished to see since Rogue One opened the door. The first 4 episodes alone let you know exactly what this show is all about and the exact tone it is promising throughout. The angle of espionage and relevant themes of political games, oppression, fascism and terrorism has always been apart of Star Wars, but now we get the chance to see the players and the people those decisions effect. The level of duality between the birth of the Rebellion vs the overbearing oppressive and order driven Imperials is brilliantly explored as you get to witness both perspectives of each factions. I have been waiting for something like this to happen and my goodness did this show deliver. There are so many emotional moments within this show that creep up and the moments of absolute brutality whether it be pure violence or torture, are expertly crafted to show how each character is effected and/or corrupted.
Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor as we follow the character about 10 or so years before the events of Rogue One. We get to see the origin of the character with a number of retcons, but they were not necessarily too bad. I liked that he started off as basically a scoundrel that’s constantly down on his luck, but he has a heart of gold. He was way more relatable and unrefined and I loved that he wouldn't hesitate to take a life. He is in a desperate and sometimes dark place, but he is constantly learning how to survive and adapt to every predicament he finds himself. Fiona Shaw was so amazing and motivating as his adoptive mother Maarva Andor. She brought the gravitas to every word of wisdom and caution spoken to Cassian. There is a fight that never dies within her and she let it be known. Her chemistry with Andor was one of the guiding lights of morality throughout. Dave Chapman voices her personal droid B2EMO and he stole my heart by the end of the series and broke it in so many ways with his dry and yet emotional responses to Andor, Maarva and others. Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen was absolutely brilliant. She gets put through the ringer in this show and I can't stress enough how amazing her performance is in the latter half of the season. Her bond with Andor is strong, but not the typical focus. Faye Marsay as Vel Sartha was awesome and I loved that she was loyal to the cause. She was steadfast, but she was ready to ask questions as she acted as the moral compass of the Rebellion. Varada Sethu as Cinta Kaz was awesome and badass as her companion. When there was bloodshed needed, she didn't hesitate and was always ready. Stellan Skarsgård was nothing short of fascinating as Luthen Rael. He is the most elusive, cunning and plotting character of the series and I loved his complexities. Behind every action he makes is a sort of sorrow, but he is emboldened by his successes as he knows he is fighting for a greater good. He carries so much on his shoulders and you see it in an iconic scene that sums up his resolve. I loved his relationship with Andor, Vel and especially his personal agent Kleya Marki played wonderfully by Elizabeth Dulau. The two of them are deticated and she also keeps Luthen on mission. Genevieve O'Reilly reprises her role as Mon Mothma and my god was she outstanding. Through her we get the pleasure of seeing the political ramifications of fighting the Empire from within while trying to stay hidden. Genevieve adds so much depth, emotion and backstory to the beloved character. There are some amazingly tense moments with her navigating the waters of whom she could trust within and some emotionally gut wrenching scenes involving her past and family.
As I said before, this series explores both sides the Star WARS and it was very refreshing. Kyle Soller was unnerving and an interesting character study as Syril Karn. He starts off as the A typical perfectionist and he wants everyone to be their best at all times even when it wasn't that serious. He was basically a glorified small town deputy in a place where the worst crime someone could commit is public intoxication. The transformation this character goes through is something that is born of trauma once he gets a real taste of the beginning of a bigger threat. His obsession with capturing Cassian is almost stalker like with the look in his eyes. Anton Lesser was great as the head of the Imperial Security Bureau Major Partagaz. He was quick witted and no nonsense and I loved that he was open to strong suggestions to ending the growing rebellion. He truly represented the head of what one would call the gestapo of Imperial forces. It was scary how efficient and unrelenting he was. Speaking of unrelenting, Denise Gough was outstanding as Dedra Meero a supervisor in the ISB. Her whole arc in the show went from you routing for her as she fights her way to being a recognized and respected voice in the ISB council to completely hating what she becomes. Her work ethic was exceptional, but as we all know, true power corrupts in the wrong hands. She quickly becomes the very definition of a fascist leader for the modern age. George Lucas fashioned the Empire as oppressive and fascist regime and she embodies his vision as the series progresses.
The score was absolutely insane and I loved every second of it. Nicholas Britell has given new life to the titular characters' existence and he has brought so much dramatic power to the galaxy. His orchestration is truly unique as there is a growing tension in every note and emotional turmoil to every crescendo. I loved that he experiments with different variations of the great Andor theme. It sets the mood of the each episode and rebuilds back to its classic form by the end. Its been a long time since I've loved a television score and this is definitely on the list of one of my favorites. Visually the show is stunning and breathtaking as it is shot on location and it has so many design influences from other famous films like Blade Runner and George Lucas own THX 1138. It looks consistently in line with Rogue One and I can't wait to see it all eventually lead up to the film. I can't truly gush enough about how this show truly surprised and enthralled me from beginning to end. I haven't been so emotional involved in live action Star Wars since season 2 of The Mandalorian. This finally takes Star Wars away from the fun and sometimes overly nostalgic realm and brings it down to the more gritty and real world stakes of the people living in the galaxy. This was everything I've always wanted to see and I can't wait for Season 2! Do stick around for an EPIC plot point payoff at end of the season finale credits. Let me know what you thought of show or my review in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
