HEy Vat7k fandom, you guys have any Nuru or Yong centric fics? I love Yong to bits, he's always been my fav from the entire story but it's either he's handled as a side character or baby-ified. I've seen other media writing 12 year olds way better than how he's often interpreted (from what I've seen/read so far anyways).
Nuru, I haven't even seen any fics where she isn't just. Kinda there. So please if you have any, feel free to share it! I would love to read about these characters specifically
#vat7k#varian and the seven kingdoms#pls guys I'm so hungry for content about them#on that note because I feel like rambling. How about rambling about your top favorite Epithet characters?
Uh oh, I’m afraid you’ve unleashed a great beast my poor, poor Anon….. But if you insist :)
Introducing My Top 5 Favs:
AND full doodle page ;)
(⚠️HUGE EE Spoilers below⚠️)
1. Rick Shades
UGHHHHHHHHH. LOVE this man 💖💖 A pathetic and pitiful wizard dude with one of the coolest epithets! My favourite bit of him is that he’s introduced as some creepy weirdo who sounds like he’d backstab you BUT turns out to be a really fcked up guy with no social skills and genuinely really does want friends. I LOVE it when stories twist expectations for a character and Epithet Erased just keeps doing it a lot.
While Rick is mostly silly and used as comedy relief through POP really, his tragic backstory adds in so much depth and the narration treats the horrors he went through with respect. Chapter 8 has repeatedly dug my grave each time I listen to it. I’m going insane with any Rick/Toidei thoughts. There’s so much I could say about how his traumatic childhood affected him so much and how it shows through his mannerisms and behaviour that we’d be here all day. (Oh wait- I’ve already indulged into his character in like 4 posts.)
Anyways, in general, I would offer my soul to the scary magic man and treat him to a nice day at the beach.
2. Dr. Sylvester Ashling
Sylvie was the reason I got into Epithet Erased in the first place 😂. My favourite thing about him is his DESIGN and POWERS. The swirls and cloud/sheep motif looks sick and his epithet showcase in the museum arc is beyond awesome. Like omfg, it’s just so genuinely amazing to look at.
He seems fun to bully, especially with that pretentious grown-up attitude he puts up. But underneath that, Sylvie’s character is just depressing to the point where it’s intriguing for me. The choice they made to quickly grow up and skip childhood? I wonder what made them decide to do that. Despite what he says, Sylvie really just wants someone to talk to and he really does care for people. He’s just scared to loosen up and become vulnerable in front of anyone.
Sylvie wanting friends but having trust issues and not knowing how to make some? Honestly, what a mood-
I got too insanely happy hearing his short little cameo in POP, even though they weren’t around for too long. He was in there waiting and looking for his only friend awwwwww.
3. Molly Blyndeff
Molly my CHILD 🥺🥺!! Her bear motif is adorable and her character arc within the museum is so wholesome and satisfying to watch. Reading POP just cemented her as my top 3rd fav because her inner dialogue and way of thinking hit way too close to home for me. I was so close to tears many times throughout and I just LOVE her.
Molly just overall learning to stand up for herself and making it very clear she’s no longer taking any sh*t? She’s the character I wished my younger self got to know earlier because it’s what she would’ve needed at the time.
4. Giovanni Potage
Is it much of a surprise he’s in my top 5? Why wouldn’t I like this total sweetheart who would lift the earth for his minions? I adore how he has like one of the lamest-sounding epithets but his insane level of creativity makes up for it completely. I also really found his unique view on bad guys really interesting. The stark contrast between being evil but also absolutely wholesome makes for a great character I love seeing interact with everyone!
Hoping he gets some sort of character arc though. So far, he’s still the same Gio we know from the beginning and it would be very interesting to see him go through a struggle or make tough decisions.
5. Ramsey Murdoch
Haha funny ratman. As I’ve mentioned before, my expectations for him were twisted and I LOVED it. My fav character in the Redwood Run Arc because poor dude isn’t allowed to catch a break. Even outside the show within the streams, he gets absolutely bullied by the plot. This is entirely what he gets for being 1 of 2 people (the other is Molly) that have the braincell to question the bizarreness of….well, everything.
Ramsey is an impressively intelligent character who just has the hilarious misfortune of having things almost never go his way. He’s entirely the reason he and Percy manage to survive Zora and he STILL gets screwed over by getting arrested. Anyways, yes. I love his dynamic with Percy being a subversion of the typical buddy cop trope. Looking forward to having more of him in the next book: Sweet Escape :33
…………..
If you haven’t noticed already, this ask led me to go through multiple trials of tests to see which brushes and colouring process I prefer digitally.
Rick’s was my first attempt and it’s just… terribly basic really. I wasn’t used to Procreate at that point 😅.
Sylvie’s was next and after watching basic tutorial videos, I turn to really like the colouring style I did for them. Wasn’t fond of the rough outline though.
Gio’s was the exact opposite of what I’ve done with Sylvie. While I liked how it popped out in a comic-style kind of way, I wasn’t a fan of the solid shading.
For Ramsey’s, I was a lot closer to finding out my preferences. I pretty much just combined what I liked from Sylvie and Gio’s drawings. Softer shading and a smoother, thicker outline.
Molly’s was my last attempt and one I’m heavily satisfied with! :D It’s the same as Ramsey’s, but I added a lot more detail to the eyes, coloured in some outlines and even added an overlay!
The whole trial and error process was so much fun and very much worth it too! X3 💖💖

Epithet Erased (webshow & lite novel) | Ace Attorney (video game series & anime)
[This poll was made by silly mistake on the part of the tournament runner, who misread the bracket. Sorry! It won't count towards the overall tournament. Followers have voted to make Gio/Molly PPP's mascots if they win tho!]
Giovanni Potage & Molly Blyndeff:
1. THEY’RE SO SILLYYYYYYY i love them. they’re such a prime example of friendship with an age gap in media, which, i think needs to happen a bit more. i have friends older than me! i have friends younger than me! and also they’re just. goofy. silly 2. Would any friendship bracket truly be complete without this dynamic duo? She’s a serious an disillusioned elementary school student, resigned to her miserable lot in life after years of neglect and doing her family’s taxes. He’s a wacky and optimistic teenager turned supervillain, here to sweep her away from her abusive family. Together, they commit CRIMES! 3. She is an anxious child who has the power to dumb down noises or impacts to help her deal with the literal everything in her life, as she has to balance school and her family’s toy store, especially as her father and sister seem to prioritize their own selves and not care about the family as a whole. Molly is like 11 or something and has to do her family’s taxes! He is a villainous mastermind!…well, he says he is. In actuality, Giovanni is a captain in the Bonzai Blasters, with ambitions of being promoted to Vice Principal…or even Associate Justice or Valedictorian! (Yes. This is how that system is organized) But unlike the rest, he prioritizes the wellbeing of his minions above all else. He’s comfortable with his masculinity, as he knits for his minions and packs them all some soup in case they get hungry. Oh! He also has the power of soup. He can make soup, make steam of soup, and every 13th physical hit from him deals critical damage (that has nothing to do with soup. It’s just what he does). After a heist gone wrong, these two meet, and Giovanni adopts Molly as one of his minions (giving her the minion name “Beartrap”, on account of her bear hoodie. She likes bears). Together, they thwart/do a heist and steal a valuable amulet. Giovanni also distances Molly from the Banzais when the cops show up, so she will not have to worry about legal troubles. Not spoiling much about the book (Prison of Plastic, go read it), but Giovanni continues to stand up for Molly against her family, who continues to write her off. He tries to get her sister to connect with her and soften up. He can’t do much with the dad because he sucks. Giovanni makes sure Molly knows how cool she is as a person and that she doesn’t let herself be walked all over by other people. He helps her stand up for herself, and in turn, she helps him with crime.
Maya Fey & Phoenix Wright:
1. Quite frankly I don’t think they will win. They are constantly being tormented and experiencing the horrors and this poll would be no different. 2. they literally cannot die no matter what hell canon puts them through. fall off that bridge n cliff to a deathly boy! get kidnapped like 4 times girl! when she gets kidnapped like the first time, they had to make a new sprite for Phoenix coz he didn’t look devasted and depressed enough. Power of friendship though! and she is OKI! :) 3. The most iconic attorney and assistant pair in the series. Phoenix canonically ran onto a burning bridge to try to save Maya when she was in danger. His call with her got cut off once and he left the country to go make sure she was safe. She’s been kidnapped twice to be used as leverage against him and both times she was more worried about him than herself. She once jumped in front of a taser to try to protect him. He’s also defended her from murder accusations like four times. Their relationship defines the original game trilogy even more than the Wright-Edgeworth relationship does. Other Ace Attorney games wish they could replicate this dynamic. They got added to a fighting game as a single unit where they work together to fight. They both think they’re the reasonable one in this friendship, despite neither of them actually deserving that title.
Note: This blog is run & followed by aromantics. Insisting any pairs are ~actually romantic~ will not only cause you to be blocked on the spot, but you’ll out yourself as someone not safe to be queer around. No one wants to hear how stupid you look with those shipping goggles on.

Adoption poll round 2 match 12
Molly Blyndeff (Epithet erased)
Nona (The Locked Tomb)
Propaganda under the cut
molly blyndeff (Epithet erased) Propaganda
She is the sweetest, cutest little bean with The Worlds Worst Family. Being held hostage by a super villain after being forgotten at a museum overnight actually improved her situation. She's like 8 and has to do taxes and nightshift retail. Please get her into a real loving caring home!
Nona (The Locked Tomb) Propaganda
She is 19 years old but also 4.5 billion years old and also 6 months old. She has escaped from barbie jail on Pluto (long story) and has amnesia. She loves all dogs, but especially loves Noodle who has six legs and is king of dogs in secret. She likes eating sand, marker lids and luscious green vegetation and she does NOT like scrambled eggs because she has sensory issues and they are gross. She is not allowed to eat sand, marker lids or luscious green vegetation and she HAS to finish her scrambled eggs because she needs the protein. She cannot read but she is fluent in every single language that exists including body language. She is part of a gang with her friends from school. Her friends are called Hot Sauce, Born in the Morning, beautiful Ruby, honesty and Kevin. She thinks flowers are sexy and likes having agony aunt columns read to her. She’s only had two tantrums in her life and she can’t even remember them so you can’t hold that against her. Just about everyone who meets her wants to adopt her, and she was adopted by three people in two bodies but we can adopt her too because she has plenty of love to go round and honestly she kinda needs the supervision. Or she’ll eat sand.
——————
Nona is getting ready to celebrate her birthday and she wants to invite every dog she's seen in the city. She knows every language. She likes to swim and touch the jellyfish that nobody else can touch because they kill you. She's in a gang with some of the other kids at school. Her family's not sure who she is. The rebellion wants to use her. So does the empire. She's got a crush on one of the rebels. She kisses the emperor's daughter. She's dying. All she wants is a birthday present. Nona loves you.

Top Ten TBR for August
1. The Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao (currently reading)
Back in December, I was re-watching a bunch of Zhao’s videos on YouTube and in one of them she was promoting her novel Iron Widow. While I’ve never been too into mecha-novels in sci-fi, I decided to give this one a try! I’ve been finding the mechanics of the mechs really interesting, and I find Zetian a very engaging character. It also helps that Zhao explains some of the history of the real-life Wu Zetian in two of her YouTube videos. I still haven’t finished the book, but I am pretty close to finishing it.
2. Epithet Erased: Prison of Plastic by Brendan Blaber (currently re-reading)
This novel is a part of the Epithet Erased series on JelloApocalypse’s YouTube channel, which also includes several trailers for this novel and a part of chapter 1 of the novel’s audiobook. I remember seeing the original show on YouTube when it was coming out and it’s a really fun series! This part of the novel focuses on the story of Molly Blyndeff, a twelve-year-old with an epithet, a power that depends on whatever word the epithet is based off of. The story focuses on Molly’s relationship with her older sister Lorelai, and how her friends support her and try to help her as she tries to stop her sister from expanding her dream world within their family’s toy store. I’m actually listening to the audiobook while writing this post! I really recommend the audiobook version of this novel, the voice actors did an excellent job!
3. Everyone in This Room Will Someday Be Dead by Emily Austen
I actually was recommended this book a couple of years ago by an aunt and a cousin of mine. I had gone to a Catholic school and they both knew I was pan (I still haven’t come out to them as agender though, but that’s because I don’t see or talk to them very often). However, what actually convinced me to try the book was an old friend group that started a book club, and this was their first book. I still haven’t read it because I didn’t end up making it to the meetings, but I am interested in reading it.
4. The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar
This novel I was interested in more from the author than the subject matter, but that doesn’t mean I’m not interested at all. I first read Jaigirdar’s Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating and really enjoyed it, so I wanted to read more of her works! That’s when I learned that this was her debut novel, and I wanted to compare the two. Plus, I will always find some joy from learning about different art forms through writing in novels. The most I know about henna so far is from a friend of mine who had another friend who wanted to practice henna on them. Because of that, I’d like to learn more about how Jaigirdar depicts henna artists.
5. A Queer Dharma: Yoga and Meditations for Liberation by Jacoby Ballard
I actually found this book at a book exchange that was at an LGBTQ+ friendly event. My friend and I are both interested in this book because we’re both into learning about different kinds of religion and how to express different kinds of spirituality. From what I’ve looked over with the book it talks about how queer people create their own spaces within Buddhism and yoga.
6. So This is Ever After by F. T. Lukens
I’ll go more in-depth with this particular choice in the next book, however the main reasons why I was interested in this novel is because I had already gotten a book from this author that I was pretty interested in. And after looking through another book of Lukens’s (or Lukens’), they also seemed to be really interested in fantasy, especially magic. I also thought it was an interesting idea that the story takes place after the typical “ever after” of defeating an evil king.
7. In Deeper Waters by F. T. Lukens
Now this is the novel that I originally found F.T. Lukens from, and the main reason why I was interested in reading this novel is because I love pirates. I also found myself hooked from just the summary of the novel. When people say a character is mysterious, I don’t really know if they’re going to be mysterious until they appear in the story. However, the summary does show how mysterious Athlen can be, considering he’s introduced as a prisoner on a burning ship. So, I’m interested in learning more about Athlen just from the summary.
8. Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
This novel has a bit more controversial reason for why I want to read it. I originally got this book because it was popular, and I was vaguely interested, but then I started hearing about debates on whether this is good MLM (men-loving-men, not multi-level-marketing) representation. However, I then had another friend that’s a part of the queer community that read the book and he liked it. So I wanted to read the book to figure out my own opinion on the novel. Plus I thought it would be a good time to read it since the novel’s getting it’s own show soon.
9. Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Trans (But Were Afraid to Ask) by Brynn Tannehill
This book is less for me and more for family reasons. I’m not going to go into too much detail for privacy reasons, but a lot of my family still don’t quite understand much about what it exactly means to be transgender, especially not someone who’s under the non-binary umbrella. So I wanted to read this book and see if it’d be a good fit for some of my family members who do read.
10. Video Game Storytelling: What Every Developer Needs to Know about Narrative Techniques by Evan Skolnick
This book is more for my own learning and future career. My specific dream job is to create a video game story, which would go into scriptwriting. However, most of the creative writing advice and tips I’ve gotten were either for fiction in general, or for short stories and poetry. This book might be able to teach more about scriptwriting, but also how to develop scripts for video games.

The perfect team.... Maybe
Molly and Hilda are practically strong. I mean, Molly can literally stun her opponents. Hilda, for her part, has a sword. Seriously, he still has that sword from the 'Witches' episode in his room.
You have to see the skills and techniques that this strange duo have.
Let's start with the oldest; Hilda
Our blue-haired girl is, as I have calculated thinking about the extensive possibilities there are, about 13 years old. And in just those 13 years of existing in this life and we have seen the things she can do. His vast experience consists of;
+ Swordsmanship (enough to beat another boy his age with weapons experience)
+ Hand-to-hand combat.... I think so. Hilda's fight with that ghost is still something up for discussion for me.
Now your possible abilities. From what I believe, and also what I have seen that the Fandom has created in some fanfics, Hilda may have some abilities that have not been shown to us or that she could have in the future. Such as;
+ Creation of protective amulets. and possibly, from what we saw in Johana's flashbacks as a child [in the part where Astrid faces the spider-toad], creation of attack amulets.
+ The ability to fly. We cannot deny that it could ultimately grow wings at any moment.
+Become a troll. This is something I've noticed that almost everyone gives to Hilda in fanfics, so it stays. Possibly it's some kind of shapeshifter magic or something, I don't know.
+Altered perception of reality. In other words, she tried to fight against many beings that, to be honest, in one move sent her to the other world. Even so, the girl did not cower when there were punches.
Alteration of the mind. We literally saw Astrid seal Johana's memories from her entire childhood. Don't you think that's some kind of fairy magic? This is the possibility With this we have a great variety of techniques, now imagine the possibilities if you combine them to make a combo or a new technique.
Now it's time for the other girl in the group;
Molly Blyndeff. This girl is not far behind, no sir.
+ Dumb. This word is literally Molly's ability summed up, because that word is her ability. This ability allows him to have at his disposal a wide variety of techniques with which he can influence his opponent, from reducing the amount of damage received to disabling the abilities of others. An example of this is when Molly makes a soup ball that Giovanni made disappear, thus demonstrating that her ability can influence that of others.
+Mind control. Or something like that. Molly can stun someone so much that she can make them follow her orders, more or less. With Car Crash it was because he touched it and told him it was a car he wanted to crash, says his team friend. And boy did it work.
+Silence. She can cancel the sound just like Corazon, a One Piece character, did. Not whether in this case you must maintain physical contact with another person if you want that ability to remain with the enemy.
Possible skills;
From what I have seen in Epithet Erased, the concept of the word is the ability that your power will have from said word. We've seen Giovanni make ranged attacks and create cursive potions.
To Randal Murdock the power to imbibe his ability (turn into gold) and continue moving. It was literally a power up that I didn't expect.
Zora Salazar can imbue her power into her bullets and other weapons to have a lethal effect.
Who says Molly couldn't do any of those things? I mean, Molly hasn't tried any of that so she could manage to imbue some gloves or some armor with her power to stun any attack against her physical integrity. Imagine that she could stun the organism of the human body.....
Oh my mother, now that I start to think better about her ability, I'm starting to notice that this girl could dominate an entire district if she wanted to.
It would practically dumb down your entire biological system and could practically give you a critical failure in your organs. THAT GIRL DRESS UP AS A BEAR BECAUSE SHE'S LIKE ONE! They look cute but in reality they are cold and uninspiring creatures.look at those eyes
He is the embodiment of evil.
Okay, I think I got a little off topic, but I got my point across about what these girls can do and their possible powers.
With that I leave this question for you;
Who else do we add? I have someone else in mind, I'm already going crazy with this and I won't stop for a moment. I would like to see your opinions and other relevant comments, so comment. Without fear. That's all for now, see you later.
bye

hello friend what is epithet erased
So glad you asked! Epithet Erased is an animated webseries from Brendan Blaber (AKA Jelloapocalypse) with a novel/fully voice acted audio book continuation. It's about a world where a select few people are born with an "epithet," or a power that gives them abilities in relation to a specific word (e.g. soup, dumb, drowsy, etc.).
I like it cuz the comedy is unhinged and the voice acting is *chefs kiss*
You can find the animated episodes on Youtube. The epithet erased website is also a good place to find information about the episodes/audiobook as well as all the extras
#check a library near you for prison of plastic#but if you wanna spend money I do recommend the audiobook above the printed version because it's really good

How about Platonic EE Phoenica?
PHOENICA FLEECITY PLATONIC HEADCANONS
synopsis… Headcanons for being Phoenica’s friend
ft. Phoenica Fleecity XV, Trixie Roughhouse (mentioned), Molly Blyndeff (mentioned)
tags… epithet erased, platonic headcanons, tooth rotting fluff, friendship study, mentions of loss/grief, found family
word count… 767
a/n… FEENIE MY ME!!! I am a massive Feenie kinnie so i am obligated to write her ✧ 🦄
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Get ready for the most Disney channel friendship ever.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Phoenica grew up pretty sheltered, so most of her ideas of what friendship is meant to look like come from movies and TV. And magical girl anime, can’t forget the magical girl anime.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 No matter your gender, you will be recruited to her magical girl troupe. It’s inevitable, just let it happen.
“Oh, and magical girls usually have a special name for their transformations! Like Sailor Moon has her base form, but she also has Super Sailor Moon, Eternal Sailor Moon……what do you want yours to be? I have a list of approved words you can reference!”
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 She insists upon you calling her Feenie or some other kind of nickname. After all, you’re friends! And Feenie is what her friends call her!
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Lots and lots of list making and itineraries. Even for a simple sleepover, she has a full schedule of activities decorated with cute stickers.
“At five PM we’ll have dinner, then after that we’ll have dessert…..oh, and a full movie marathon! Then that should make some room for the pillow fight and fort building at eight, then we should be all cozy and ready to sleep by nine! Perfect, right?”
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 She also keeps a ‘friendship scrapbook’ of all the things you do together. Photos from every hangout, little stickers and your names sewed into the front cover…..she has you help work on it whenever she adds a new page!
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 If you’re friends with Feenie, then Molly and Trixie naturally are your friends, too. If you met Feenie after she already met the other Neo Trio members, Trixie insists on staging a formal ‘vibe check’ to see if you pass. This consists of them poking you with a glow stick to check your ‘aura’ and having you consume a special potion that is definitely not just three sodas in a jar.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 You get included as a supporting character in her self insert fanfiction! Yippee! This is the highest recognition of friendship you can receive from Feenie.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 (Also it is my personal belief that the Neo Trio’s My Little Pony OCs are as follows: Feenie is an alicorn crystal pony, Molly is an earth pony, and Trixie is a Changeling, because every transgender person wanted to be a Changeling. Source: me.)
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 The Neo Trio makes you a special accessory as per custom. Feenie always brags about her addition to the accessory, clearly ecstatic to be able to give you a gift that you love.
“Molly did the braiding, and I picked the little beads.” Despite their stoic expression, Trixie was clearly all too eager to hand you the custom friendship bracelet the group had crafted for you.
From behind them, Feenie was even more eager to giggle and squeal, “I added all the GLITTER! Isn’t it so fabulous?”
“Yeah,” Molly nodded. “It’s like one of those yellow reflective vests. Now there’s no way you won’t be visible at night.”
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Without her mom around, and her dad busy, she often feels lonely at home. So please stay over at least once a week, it makes her really happy.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 She is the sweetest most considerate friend ever. Food allergies? None of that food at any of her friend events! You’re trans or use unorthodox pronouns? She keeps a list of all your preferred ones! Neurodivergent? She communicates according to your boundaries and is never upset over mistakes. What a sweetheart.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Also? Perfect study buddy. If you’re someone who struggles to study or get homework done, she invites you over to do flash cards and have snacks. Whatever your learning style is, she’ll research a bunch of fun study games to play to help you.
“Oh my gosh! You’ve nearly memorized the entire times table for seven!” The little ball of fluff was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. No matter what it was, Feenie was always eager to be proud of you. “We can finish the rest after a snack! Annabelle made us snickerdoodles!”
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 You come to know most of her house staff by name. They know you well, and practically consider you part of the family.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Feenie confides in you about a lot of things she doesn’t normally tell anyone else. How much pressure she feels over having to save the world, how unfair it is, that she has to do all this and she’s just a kid…..usually, Feenie does her best to be a typical ray of sunshine so that nobody has to feel sad around her, but she can’t help but just feel so safe around you.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 You really are family to her.

Epithet Erased - Idol! AU
Something I’m making because, as it turns out, I’m a very slow artist but a fast writer.
This is mostly just an idea dump post. The details are really messy, so I apologize.
The main gist is just the Neo trio and Lorelai but as idols. You can learn more under the cut.
I’m not committed to this AU. Nothing is set in stone. Feel free to ask questions, but this is mostly just to get my ideas out there, I am not promising anything big will come from this (Like a fanfiction or comic).
“Neapolitan♡Melody”
Neapolitan♡Melody, or NeoMelody for short, is the idol group containing Molly Blyndeff, Trixie Roughouse, and Phoenica Fleecity.
Even though Molly is still the MC of this AU, Phoenica is considered to be the leader of the group in the media in-universe. Their music mostly kids-bop like, but genuinely palatable.
The three debuted a couple days before the start of the museum arc.
Due to Molly’s misophonia, the trio decided that they would only do indoor recordings and virtual shows in order to minimize the amount of noise she had to hear.
“LORELAI”
LORELAI or Lorelai Blyndeff is a solo idol who debuted when she was 15 years old.
She mostly makes music based on whatever her primary obsession is at the time. Which with how quickly she moves on from topic to topic, and how long it takes to release an album, she gets bored very quickly. This eventually gets to where she primarily releases singles focusing around whatever she’s into.
Something to mention is that Lorelai still goes into her bubbles and ignores her responsibilities. She’s constantly late to almost everything and does almost none of her share, except when it’s in the public eye.
Both NeoMelody and LORELAI are primarily vocals performed by their respective idols, with synthesizers being done after the fact.
Plot
Calliope Blyndeff was a former idol in the 90s, and a really popular one at that. She eventually retired in the early 2000’s, and primarily leaving the scene once she became a mother.
Molly and Lorelai mostly became idols because of their mother, beginning training at a very young age.
Even though Martin is both of their managers in name, he rarely ever does his job, only really being in interviews. Molly primarily is forced to take over almost all of the manager duties, causing her to be tired on a constant basis. It’s even gotten to where she’d faint during recordings.
(Naven helps to homeschool the three girls instead of running a speech class)
During the Museum Arc, it’s around the time of NeoMelody’s first debut. With such a major accomplishment, Molly not only wants to celebrate with her friends, but get some alone time. She eventually ends up in the museum.
The museum arc then goes similarly, with only Giovanni recognizing her as an idol, since Trixie is related to him.
For Prison of Plastic, it has a similar structure to the canon. The trio finding Rick, Lorelai kidnapping Giovanni, etc. But the ending is different (I’m not 100% sure what it would be atp).
(I also want to put Sylvie into the PoP arc more, but I’m not sure how.)

Pspsps lwa x EE pspsps
Had some random thoughts about a Little Witch Academia x Epithet Erased au (with the Lwa characters in the EE world). I don't have anything concrete at the moment, so I'll just post stuff I brainstormed. I'll post more about the au in future posts. I'm considering naming the au “Dumb Little Spark”, which I like, but I don't just wanna go with the first thing I thought of. Let me know what y'all think the au name should be!
Lwa x EE Braindump!
Ursula had a large reputation in the public with the persona of “Shiny Chariot” for being the most wanted Vigilante in Sweet Jazz City. Despite this, people weren't afraid of her. If anything, most people looked up to her as someone of hope for helping more than the entire Sweet Jazz Police force. For a while, things look great. But as expectations and pressure grow, it becomes too much for her. One day, Shiny Chariot dissappeared without a trace, like a star in the sky that burnt out. No one knows what happened, but regardless of her disappearance, her impact on the city was insurmountable, bringing inspiration of hope and change to many adults and adolescents alike.
During the night, Akko takes on the role of a vigilante with the job of keeping Sweet Jazz City safe. She was inspired by her idol, “Shiny Chariot”, and when Shiny Chariot had disappeared, Akko had taken the initiative to spread the same kind of hope as her idol. Most underestimate her because she's a mundie, but those who do won't get the chance to make that mistake twice
Akko and Lorelai know each other. Despite them being complete opposites, they're actually friends with each other, though it's somewhat strained.
Sucy and Mushroom Girl are siblings, with the former being adopted into the family
Sucy became one of the chaperones of the field trip because the teacher of the class wasn't assured, with Martin being the only person to sign up as a chaperone. The teacher begged their dad, and the two managed to reach a compromise where the teacher would pay the family if Sucy signed up.
Lotte had the chance to go to college like Sylvie and get a degree before becoming an adult, but she declined as she said that it would be too much for her to handle. They told her that she could be a big-name famous person, but didn't realize that Lotte would rather dig her hand in a vase of poisonous snakes.
Giovanni gace Sucy a handmade invitation to try and get Sucy to join his boys. Everyone but Crusher didn't believe that it would work, but was surprised when Sucy actually accepted Giovanni's invitation. Till this day, nobody knows how Gio managed to convince her.
Lotte's epithet allows her to interact with the souls of others and herself. Because of that, she did gain a decent reputation for helping people with physical and mental health complications with their epithets for free. This had put her on Phoenica’s radar, and she's dead-set on meeting Lotte and convincing her to join her group of magical girls
Ben found Sucy creepy and objected to her becoming a minion, but Giovanni was having none of it and shut him down. Ben thinks she's going to poison them in their sleep
Constanze signed up for an internship with Howie, who found her inventions helpful for helping with construction
Whenever Constanze goes to the Blyndeff emporium, she just glances at Molly, and she immediately knows what Constanze specifically wants without a single word being exchanged (Constanze is her favorite customer because of this, and because she pays extra)
The Cavendish family is known as well and widely as the Fleecity family, becoming famous from a Cavendish and Fleecity working together when the Songstress first arrived. Since then, both families have had a rival relationship. They'd compete with each other but won't hesitate to team up when the arrival of the Songstress is near.
Trixie and Sucy know each other, and Sucy will sometimes help them with their potions

Movie night
Warning: None, I think? Three friends just having a good time together ^^
Fandom: Epithet Erased
Description: Just a friendly movie night the Museum Trio with third-rate comedies
(Approximate) size: around 11k characters, actually?
Notes: Yes, yes, I also write, it’s just that I most often feel reluctant to translate it. This fanfic was written a year or two ago, but I decided to translate it with support @kanene-yaaay, so, thanks for that! Without you, I wouldn't have dared to do this!
~~~
It was Friday evening. And also exactly six months, one week and three days since Molly moved in with Giovanni.
She herself could not believe that everything went so smoothly: her father didn't particularly notice her disappearance, so he didn't look for her. And he was not at all embarrassed by the "overnight at a friend's" stretching for six months. Giovanni's mother, or Mrs. Potage (actually Blyndeff was surprised that "Potage" was Giovanni's real last name), quickly accepted that:
"Molly is Grandpa Frank's maternal aunt's great niece."
Giovanni himself, for some reason, left the Banzai Blasters. Molly herself didn't know the reason, but did not dare to ask. But he continued to call the girl by the nickname given to her back in the museum. In response, she sometimes called him "Boss", as then.
Also about a month ago, Dr. Ashling turned up. According to him, he recovered much earlier (fortunately, he was lucky to meet a person with the epithet “Treatment”), but Sylvester had too much to do, and could not find the time to finally call. The girl was pleased that he still kept the card she gave him.
Although, according to Ashling, he was confused when he called the number indicated and someoneб, who turned out to be Molly's dad, directed him to Giovanni's house.
Everyone was surprised then: Sylvie, who was met at the door by the former captain of the Banzai Blasters; and Giovanni, not understanding why he needed Molly; and Molly herself, who simply went to the living room to get a forgotten book, and in addition met Sylvie again.
That day they discussed many things. After that, Sylvester looked in on them from time to time, and no one really objected.
So on this Friday evening, they decided to get together and watch some movies.
Sylvie had not yet arrived, but Giovanni and Molly were already getting ready for the evening. Potage was sorting through cassettes, the old TV set refused to accept anything other than them. Blyndeff, with a gleam in her eyes, watched how a pack of popcorn was spinning in the microwave. After all, watching a movie without snacks is a crime.
Looking out from the kitchen with a bowl in her hands, the girl asked:
"How is it, Boss?"
"Great, Bear Trap," a smile beamed across the boy's face, "found a good movie for us!"
"This is cool."
Molly carefully sat down on the couch next to Giovanni, leaving the bowl on the coffee table.
"You're sure to like it," Potage handed the cassette to the girl.
"The Rock City Express?" puzzled, she read the inscription on the cassette.
"Yep, the best action comedy in our house," Giovanni smiled proudly.
"First time I've heard," Molly continued to look at the cassette.
"Oh, have you seen a lot of movies?" The guy sighed in displeasure, leaning back on the back of the couch.
"Honestly, not very," admitted Blyndeff.
"Oh, you want to talk about..."
Giovanni was interrupted by the doorbell.
"Finally!"
Potage got up from the couch and walked slowly to the door. Behind this, of course, was Ashling.
"You're late, Doc," Giovanni said snidely.
"I’m not," the guest immediately objected. "I am never late, I arrived on time."
The psychologist looked at his watch, which showed exactly seven o'clock and two minutes.
"Your watch is thirteen minutes late," Potage remarked.
"What?!" asked Ashling, looking intently at his watch.
"Or ours is in a hurry," said Giovanni, grinning from ear to ear. "Come in."
"How witty," Sylvester replied with a perfectly stone face.
But still he went. The already familiar living room, the old TV, all this was familiar to the doctor. Molly waved her hand happily in greeting.
"Hey, Sylvie!"
"Hi," Sylvie replied with a slight hesitation and waved back modestly.
Giovanni sat imposingly in the corner of the couch, Ashling squatted neatly in the middle, and Molly settled herself comfortably on the other side.
"Giovanni, can you put the cassette in?" asked Blyndeff.
"Of course, of course, my faithful minion!"
Potage took the cassette from the girl and inserted it into the receiver. He hummed softly, letting you know that he was still working. Giovanni returned to his seat, taking the remote control with him.
Meanwhile, the doctor glanced at the cassette box.
"Wait, what the heck is that?!" Sylvester grabbed the box and looked at the cover.
"What?" Didn't understand Potage.
"What kind of third-rate comedy is that?" Ashling said irritably, waving the box around.
"Doc, you don't understand anything about movies!"
Giovanni snatched the box from the doctor's hands.
"This movie is the best comedy in this house! I know it!"
"I'm sorry that this garbage of cinema is the best movie in your house."
Sylvester folded his arms across his chest. Potage was about to answer him somehow, but Molly got into their conversation.
"The movie begin."
The girl carefully pulled the popcorn bowl closer to her.
"Now you will understand how wrong you are, Doc."
"Doc" just snorted in annoyance and stared at the screen.
The comedy, although it was really third-rate, didn’t stop Giovanni from laughing out loud at every joke. From Molly, too, chuckles and giggles were heard from time to time. Ashling, on the other hand, was staring at the screen with an indifferent expression. He thought he was too intelligent to laugh at such bad humor.
“Personally, clowns don’t seem funny to me at all.” Heard from the TV. “To tell you the truth, I'm afraid of them. I don't even know when it began. Probably when I was taken to the circus as a child and a clown killed my father.”
Sylvester covered his grin with his hand. This joke wasn't so bad.
"What's the matter, Doc?" Potage asked, smiling, noticing the change on his friend's face.
"Hah?"
The smirk was quickly replaced by a bored face.
"Nothing."
"Oka-ay," drawled Giovanni, but the smile was still on his face.
With a dramatic roll of his eyes, the doctor continued to watch. Unless, after a couple of scenes, another phrase slipped through that caused Ashling to grin.
"HA!"
Potage shouted smugly, pointing his finger at Sylvie.
"Smiling! So not such a third-rate movie!"
Giovanni folded his arms across his chest and lifted his head proudly, still looking at his friend. Sylvie returned the bored face and said:
"It must have seemed to you. Because I didn't smile."
"You can't fool me."
Giovanni approached the doctor, looking him straight in the eye. And immediately pulled away:
"And Bear Trap saw everything, right?"
Molly looked up from the movie.
"Huh? I guess?"
"Yeah, she didn't see anything," Ashling drawled.
"So it means that there was something to see!" Potage announced triumphantly.
"Ah... Um..." Sylvester did not immediately find something to answer this. "She didn't see anything because there was nothing to see!"
"You're making excuses! Everyone who has done something is making excuses!" Potage argued.
"Those who did nothing also make excuses, by the way!"
"Yeah-yeah, but I've seen you smile and it's useless to hide it, Doc."
Giovanni nudged the doctor lightly in the side with his elbow. And, of course, a stifled squeak from this same doctor didn’t pass by his ears. Potage glanced at Sylvie with concern.
"Is everything okay? Do you have a bruise or something?"
He poked at the same place again, testing his theory. Which caused a traitorous chuckle from Ashling. Giovanni stared at the doctor in bewilderment, but, having thought of something, narrowed his eyes cunningly, still looking at Sylvie.
"And what was it?"
"N-nothing?" Ashling smiled uncertainty and looked away.
"Oh," Potage began conspiratorially, "I don't think so, Doc."
Sylvester slowly moved away from the guy until he crashed into Molly. The girl again was distracted from the film and looked at her friend with incomprehension.
"Something's wrong?"
To be on the safe side, she put the bowl of popcorn back on the table.
"Nothing," Giovanni repeated the doctor's words. "I just found out something new about our Sylvie."
Having said this, Potage abruptly jerked forward at Ashling, raising his hands. With cries, Sylvie and Giovanni fell on the couch. Molly stared at this picture, literally unfolding under her nose, in bewilderment.
"Get off me!" the doctor immediately yelled, pushing his friend away with his hands.
"Nope," Potage said contentedly, wiggling his fingers. "Until I check it out!"
"Check the wha…"
Giovanni didn't wait for Sylvie to finish, and began to run his fingers rapidly along his sides. At the same moment Ashling stopped short and covered his mouth with his hands. But even such efforts were not successful. Here and there a chuckle slipped through; It was amusing to Potage to watch these futile attempts.
Molly, looking at this, thought for a couple of moments and decided to continue watching the movie. Sylvie, at that moment lying at her side and trying to hide her laughter, did not bother the girl at all.
"Cut. It. OUT!" Ashling snarled through his teeth (and, obviously, through his hands).
He tried with all his might to restrain himself, to endure and wait until Giovanni simply got bored with this business.
"No way!"
But he doesn't seem to get bored of it.
Potage accepted this peculiar challenge and smiled confidently, continuing his attack. But deciding that if he continues in the same spirit, he will not see anything new, Giovanni changed his place, raising his hands higher.
At this point Ashling's defenses collapsed. Quickly dropping his hands in an attempt to hide at least something from Potage's attack, the doctor burst into laughter. It was different from his "sinister" laugh and was more... childish.
"S-stop!"
"I knew it!"
Giovanni smiled triumphantly. He had no intention of stopping any time soon.
"Bear Trap, just look!"
"Eh?" Molly looked up from the movie again. "Oh."
"Help," Ashling pleaded piteously through laughter.
Blyndeff looked at the guys. Well, for some time the Boss wasn't tickling her. And it even looked cute from the outside. But perhaps you need help...
The girl reached out for Giovanni's arms, as he declared:
"You'll get yours too, Bear Trap," a playful, sinister grin appeared on his face.
Molly jerked her hand away in fright. She didn't really want to be in Sylvie's place right now. But when she looked at them again, she sighed, preparing for the worst. Blyndeff knew what she would get at the end.
"Sudden attack!"
Molly screamed and jumped on Potage, falling off the couch with him. Without giving Giovanni time to realize what had happened, she herself, closing her eyes, began to tickle him.
"…It's not fair… …to use… …my attacks… …on me!" with difficulty keeping the connection between the words, the guy shouted, while not even really resisting.
"...To attack... ...without warning... ...is also not fair..."
The doctor tried to get his breath back. Well, he hadn't laughed like that in a long time. Ashling stared at his friends with blank eyes, thinking. While Sylvie digested what had happened, Giovanni turned the tables, and now he was taking revenge on the girl.
When Potage finally calmed down and helped Blyndeff to his feet, they finally took notice of the hovering doctor. Giovanni waved his hand in concern in Sylvie's face.
"Doc? Are you okay?"
Molly tapped Ashling gently on the shoulder. This brought him out of his trance and the doctor looked around absently.
"Eh? What?"
"You okay?" Potage repeated the question. "I hope I didn't go too far? Bring some water?"
Sylvester looked at his friend with his usual sarcastic gaze. The only thing with which Giovanni "went too far" is with feelings.
"I'm fine, not dying," Ashling declared, thus reassuring the others.
"I'm sorry," Potage scratched the back of his head guiltily as he sat down next to Sylvie. "But understand, I had to check it out."
Potage spread his hands, saying, "I couldn't do anything about it."
"I got what you mean."
Adjusting his glasses, the doctor moved closer to Molly and said irritably:
"Next time, let me breathe, you moron."
Potage nodded at first, not attaching much importance to Ashling's words. Then the meaning of what was said hit him.
"You mean 'next time'?" the guy drawled in puzzlement.
"And what is wrong?"
"I thought you were going to say something in your nutty way," Giovanni said, and mimicked that 'nutty way' by gesturing vigorously. " 'Don't touch me again or I'll strangle you!' "
"It's just that I know you're going to ignore it," the doctor snorted uncertainly.
"He wouldn't," Blyndeff broke in, "you know that."
Potage nodded again. Ashling involuntarily admitted that usually this guy really would not hurt someone. At least if asked. Accordingly, here Sylvester could simply ask not to interfere with him and, with a probability of sixty-seven percent, Giovanni would listen to him.
Then why didn't Sylvester do it?
"So you...don't mind, then?" A smile slowly spread over Potage's face.
"You know, I should probably go," Ashling said somewhere to the side, slowly getting up from the couch.
They didn't let him get up. The next moment, the doctor was enclosed in a general embrace, Molly stuck to his side, and on the other hand, Giovanni, like some kind of older brother, furiously ruffled his hair.
Only after a couple of minutes in this form, Blyndeff suddenly announced in an upset:
"Oh! I missed half the movie because of you!"
Flicker! Hiiiii
Want to give some rambles about Epithet Erased or any of your other fandoms (summary, top ten great things, etc.) for some totally other people (not me ofc) who want to get into the fandoms their friends love?
OMFGJKSKSKKSKSKS SRSLY??
Other people (who are totally not you) want to get to know my current fandom????!! 💖
Personally, I think it’s more fun if you dive into the episodes blind but I can give you a quick run through of what to expect for Epithet Erased.
Quick Summary:
In this world, 1 in 5 people are born with rare powers called “Epithets.” A word inscribed into their soul that allows them to use magic they associate with that word. The only limit here is your creativity.
The main character, Molly Blyndeff, is one of those gifted people. Unluckily, she accidentally finds herself in the middle of a scuffle for the “Arsene Amulet” that has the ability to steal anyone’s epithet. As multiple people race for the artefact, would Molly escape? Or would she get her epithet…erased?
*ahem* may have gotten dramatic there-
Now my thoughts:
First off, the artstyle and character design is SOO pretty and just overall SOO fun to draw! I love how much you can so much as glance at a character and have some idea of who they are instantly.
The animation in here has a unique sort of tabletop style that I personally instantly found creative and charming. And GAWD, don’t even get me started on the legendary voice-acting. Along with the music, these all make up for the lack of smooth animation that you’d typically find in other indie shows. (Pls pls pls pls don’t immediately judge it for its animation style-)
But in certain special scenarios (fight scenes) where it DOES get animated, it’s just entertaining to watch again and again. Especially the Redwood Run Arc. My favourite :)) The special effects used are utilised heavily to make for just beautiful cinematography.
The story is mostly comedic but knows when to dial it down for wholesome and touching scenes. The characters all have strong distinct personalities (which I adore) that bounce off of others in many entertaining ways. It’s very likely to find multiple dynamics you grow to get fond of.
………
Though, this may just be me and my personal thoughts. You might have different taste but I do highly recommend checking it out! Currently, the animated series has a playlist here on YT and its sequel is a book that I think you can find on a pdf for free somewhere.
Though, if you really grew to love it, I suggest buying the sequel’s audiobook as well for an immersive experience (and to support future books incoming!).
Enjoy and let me know what you think Bo! <33
(Oh wait- Not Bo. Obviously)
Round 1 part 1: Nimona (movie & graphic novel) / Epithet Erased (webshow & lite novel)
Ballister Boldheart & Nimona:
They've been through a lot together, despite only knowing each other for a few days. Plus they are both badass.
Giovanni Potage & Molly Blyndeff:
1. THEY'RE SO SILLYYYYYYY i love them. they're such a prime example of friendship with an age gap in media, which, i think needs to happen a bit more. i have friends older than me! i have friends younger than me! and also they're just. goofy. silly 2. Would any friendship bracket truly be complete without this dynamic duo? She's a serious an disillusioned elementary school student, resigned to her miserable lot in life after years of neglect and doing her family's taxes. He's a wacky and optimistic teenager turned supervillain, here to sweep her away from her abusive family. Together, they commit CRIMES! 3. She is an anxious child who has the power to dumb down noises or impacts to help her deal with the literal everything in her life, as she has to balance school and her family's toy store, especially as her father and sister seem to prioritize their own selves and not care about the family as a whole. Molly is like 11 or something and has to do her family's taxes! He is a villainous mastermind!...well, he says he is. In actuality, Giovanni is a captain in the Bonzai Blasters, with ambitions of being promoted to Vice Principal...or even Associate Justice or Valedictorian! (Yes. This is how that system is organized) But unlike the rest, he prioritizes the wellbeing of his minions above all else. He's comfortable with his masculinity, as he knits for his minions and packs them all some soup in case they get hungry. Oh! He also has the power of soup. He can make soup, make steam of soup, and every 13th physical hit from him deals critical damage (that has nothing to do with soup. It's just what he does). After a heist gone wrong, these two meet, and Giovanni adopts Molly as one of his minions (giving her the minion name "Beartrap", on account of her bear hoodie. She likes bears). Together, they thwart/do a heist and steal a valuable amulet. Giovanni also distances Molly from the Banzais when the cops show up, so she will not have to worry about legal troubles. Not spoiling much about the book (Prison of Plastic, go read it), but Giovanni continues to stand up for Molly against her family, who continues to write her off. He tries to get her sister to connect with her and soften up. He can't do much with the dad because he sucks. Giovanni makes sure Molly knows how cool she is as a person and that she doesn't let herself be walked all over by other people. He helps her stand up for herself, and in turn, she helps him with crime.
More Sugar Cookie Shuffle AU
SCS is a epithet erased/anime campaign swap AU that we came up with, here's the previous post detailing most of the swaps
We recently did more stuff on this on a whim so hey more of this now.
btw whenever i say "we" i mean me and @sirfolomew who has a tumblr now and didnt have one before
@hugthegoatchild made a lot of good points and we're convinced, i guess we'll just incorporate that into our worldview
anyway on to the new stuff
elaborating on the Feenie Trixie swap. as said before, the roughhouses are now a dynasty of villains and evil sorcerers, and the fleecities are still rich but no longer magical girls. Now, in the original, the Roughhouses had criminal notoriety and the Fleecities were a magical force of good. If the Roughhouses are a magical force of evil and the Fleecities are non-magical but rich. If that is the case and they gain criminal notoriety, they become a rich non-magical force of good with criminial notoriety. What im saying is: The Fleecities are Batman. Phoenica Fleecity is Robin.
New Swap: Banzai Blasters and the evil forces of the Songstress. The Banzai Blasters are now the Songbird Sorcerers, basically the Blasters but now purple and magic and music themed. This is what Rick belongs to, he has the rank of Wizard. the equivalent ranks are as follows Baron Songstress Senpai Apprentice Valedictorian Senpai Associate Justice Court Composer Vice Principle Maestro Captain Wizard Blaster Sorcerer
more elaboration on Martin and Calliope swap Calliope and Martin Blyndeff are two horrible parents that somehow cancel out to make a functional unit. and then one of them dies. Calliope Blyndeff is, as opposed to Martin's all play and no work bumbling idiot, is an all work and no play always correct ruthless pragmatist joyless busybody manager.
more elaboration on Lorelai and Molly swap. Lorelai and Molly have their ages swapped btw. As Martin, the former toymaker has died, the role of toymaker goes to Lorelai Blyndeff, who cannot keep up with the demands set by her mother. As opposed to Lorelai's unhealthy coping mechanism of escapism through fantasy, Molly's unhealthy coping mechanism is a rotating combination of constantly distracting herself from the trauma with productivity, leading to becoming an academic overachiever, and self-numbing sensory deprivatory sleep, where she uses her epithet to go basically completely comatose and can only be woken by lorelai doing her dream bubble thing or whatever to go on a journey to the center of the mind to pull her out. Molly is basically either running at full steam overworking herself or shes completely powered off. Either way, she mostly spends her time alone in silence either studying or sleeping. Molly believes she doesnt have time for friends, and thus ends up a friendless loner. Man how is she worse off compared to ee molly. i feel bad for her. Hey remember how Lorelai's epithet caused Calliope's death in base ee? tack on self hatred issues onto the list of things wrong with scs molly blyndeff because she 100% believes she killed martin. girl is NOT having a good time. She's emotionanally detached from the rest of the family but still depends on them, pretty much the same as base ee Lorelai.
link to spoiler add on
#epithet erased#anime campaign#sugar cookie shuffle#calliope is heavily inspired by mama shirogane from kaguya sama love is war btw#you should read kaguya
