Sal was closer to Mohan while Ravi is closer to Nisha (mama’s boy).

The first time Sal held his baby brother, Ravi was so small and soft and Sal made a promise to their parents that he’ll always protect Ravi. (Sal was 3 or 4 I think?)

Mohan carries a picture of Nisha, Sal and Ravi in his wallet as a lucky charm.

On mother’s day, Mohan and the two boys go all out with their surprise.

Mohan distracts Nisha and takes her out while Ravi cleans and decorates the house and Sal makes all of Nisha’s favorite recipes.

Nisha is always bragging/ talking about the boys and she’s definitely the type of mom who would hang all of their report cards on the refrigerator.

Sal and Ravi never had an argument before, because Sal would do anything for his little brother and Ravi idolizes his older brother.

“When I was pregnant with Ravi, everyone prepared me for the sibling rivalry and how exhausting it would be, but it never came.” Nisha would say and the boys would grin and high five.

When Sal started dating Andie, everyone had welcomed her into the family and were happy everytime she had dinner with them except for Ravi, who thought she was stealing his older brother from him.

While Nisha loves her boys so much, she always wanted a daughter, which is why she’s so welcoming and motherly towards both Andie and Pip.

The entire family were so well loved in their neighborhood. They were friendly, generous and respectful.

They love doing activities/chores together. Cleaning, baking, gardening … etc.

They have a movie night weekly.

I also imagine them having a schedule for who gets to pick the movie for every movie night.

Just imagine Mohan and Nisha teaching Sal traditional dances and then Sal teaching them to Ravi later.

Nisha loves to knit outfits for her boys and husband.

Every Christmas eve, She gifts each of them a new knitted sweater.

The one who gets the best/prettiest sweater always brags about being on Nisha’s good list. (It started as a joke by Ravi, but then became a tradition to brag about getting the best one!)
