It's sad at the end of May seeing people reblog the "here it comes!" Pride logos post. You didn't notice that brands have decided it is no longer safe to openly support LGBT rights. The past 2 years have shown a dramatic decline in corporate sponsorship of Pride. And no, we don't care about the corporations, but you should care that they think the general public will oppose their support of LGBT rights. Anyway pay attention. The logos didn't change for Pride. It's bad.

wheelchair users deserve a minimum of three wheelchairs to meet different needs. like, bare minimum of indoor chair, outdoor chair, and off road chair. chairs that meet different needs for transport, activity, positioning needs, energy levels, etc.

there is not "one chair" that can meet every need. wheelchair users deserve to have multiple chairs that meet specific needs, no matter how complex their seating/positioning needs. we deserve to at least have a backup if our chair breaks that is just as suited to our needs.

does this mean Hera is a Prime Modifier?

i'm not entirely sure which of the Modifiers are considered Prime. Odin and Gengchen are examples. Oceanus has been active since the Dark Ages but i'm not sure if he is considered a Prime. Hades gives out an aura of a Prime (even her earlier designs hinted that she has lived through the ages) but when i read her dossier it seemed like her awakening was only recent compared to Odin and Gengchen.

Bit from the latest chapter of Modifier, because Astarion:

“You won’t tell the others?” Astarion asks, shoulders relaxing and saliva gathering at the corners of his mouth.

“Your secret is my secret.” You say, going to slit your palm. Astarion appears by your side, however. You can feel his padded shirt against your back and a cold hand wrapped around your own.

“Not there.” His voice whispers in your ear. “The bend of the elbow, perhaps.”

“I have good veins there.” You say, repeating the oft heard words of every phlebotomist who had gone before Astarion.

“You do.” The murmured approval was not stopping the sound of Astarion’s hunger. You wonder if he knows he is projecting psionically. You wonder if this is why Lae’zel keeps him away- she can hear the constant exaltation and debilitating despair whirling like knives in his skull, ready to break out and hurt someone. “My preference is for the neck, however.”

“If Lae’zel sees the bite-“ You voice catches slightly as Astarion turns you, burying his face in the crease of your elbow. He had undone the sleeves while you were talking. The intimacy of the act, from his perspective, is heart wrenchingly sad. You find your fingers running through his hair, carding out the grass and dirt as he drinks.
