It's that time of year when all the budget-conscious goth babes (and all alternative honeys) are out, restocking on clothing, accessories, make-up and decor items, for a fraction of the price.

It's not our fault 🙃

Those are usually too expensive or impossible to find, during the rest of the year.

Oh and, like previously mentioned:

Fuck capitalism!

But don't feel guilty to treat yourself occasionally, if it gives you the tiniest amount of joy, during these harsh times*.

Just make sure to: ⚠ Be mindful with your purchases - just like you should be with anything and everything else; ⚠ Take good care of them, so they last longer; ⚠ Don't throw away - try to upcycle/modify/repatch/sew or fix it, first! ⚠ And sell or donate whatever you are not using anymore. Tip: If you're considering making a donation, it's often best to contribute locally, such as at your church, the local fire station, or a nearby charity. It's more impactful than donating to large international organizations, where contributions may not be used as intended and everything ends up in a landfill.

*This also applies to food because "money spent on food and clothing is always money well spent" - just like my grandpa used to say.

Again, just make sure to be thoughtful, always prioritize sustainability, and when it comes to food - eat whatever, whenever you want/can. Just be aware and don't make it a rule and always try to find healthy and cheaper food alternatives.
