Last Halloween I was at a office party and the Five Nights at Freddy's song (by the living tombstone) came on and, chronically online as I am, I immediately asked a co-worker "Haha that's funny! Who does the music here and is a fnaf fan?" and you know what he answered?

"This is just a random Halloween playlist, what's fnaf?"

Later in the evening "Dead girl walking" (Heathers) came on and rest assured I kept my mouth shut.

My sister's husband is the kind of person that rarely has anything good to say, expect it is something he himself enjoys (like cars). It is exhausting to see him talk down on literally anything his kids care about that doesn't fit his perception of something they should like.

Pokemon? Stupid. Any Cartoon? Stupid. A little pixel drawing app I let my nephew play on my iPad? Stupid.

It is devastating to see them excited about something only for him to instantly talk it down somehow. He has a very short fuse, no patience at all and I'm very glad not to have to live with him anymore.
