As of a couple weeks now, the Finnish Mobilepay, the Danish Mobilepay, and the Norwegian Vipps have consolidated to one system. Ostensibly this means that I can use my Mobilepay anywhere in, send money to, and request money from these countries. However, it seems I can't. Their website claims I'm not allowed to send money to my Norwegian friend, even though he shows up on my app now. Their customer service is leaving me on read. Does anyone know what's going on with this? Why did they even merge if their systems didn't?

Yess, I do find it pretty funny that Finland's birthday is exactly 6 months away from everyone else's, physically as far away as possible. They really need that breather after the June madness (and their introverted minds will refuse to leave home in at least the next 2 weeks)

But then on the other hand, is anyone going to bother giving him gifts because his birthday is in December? Are they all going to find excuses like "Well, it's Christmas in a few weeks anyway, you'll get your birthday present then"

HI ok I gotta ask - your post has made me insanely curious - you mention having cash at hand while waiting for your new card (resourceful) but none of the sources of cash was a bank or ATM.

Where I'm from cash is still used a lot (as we minimum wage workers get paid in cash) and as a result there are multiple ATM's within walking distance at all times and banks no more than 15-20 minutes drive away. Is this... different where you're from? (For context I'm from Africa)

We get paychecks directly to the bank account here, and I usually just pay with my card everywhere I need to, because it's more convenient than having a lot of coins and bills around. While there are ATM machines here (there are several within a walking distance from where I live), you use them with your card, so without having one, I can't get money out of the money withdrawing machine. I don't know how you do it, but without a card I can only get money out of the bank account by (online) bank transfers, and that's pretty hard at grocery store register.

Our bank offices stopped handing out cash several years ago, of which I am still very salty about.

I got some cash from my mom, and I had a handful of coins left over from the last time I had used an ATM a while back, but that's kinda rare for me, since most places accept card.

if you want to get your hands on one of my critters, a few options are available:

1) prints of existing models 60€ + shipping: if you want any creature posted in the catalog tag, this option is for you. mini catalog contains simple tiny sculpts that are 15€. we can discuss size, color, and paint options, or you can have a blank base. eyes and hair are included, clothing and accessories are not. if the post indicates there are fixes i need to make to the prototype, those fixes will be made before your doll is printed.

2) custom 200€ + shipping: a fully unique sculpt made to your specifications, printed and painted. can include hair and eyes, does not include clothing. i can make clothes for an extra fee, see this & this for some examples. a custom sculpt that involves your design [oc references etc] will not be sold to anyone else.

3) floating heads from any sculpt in the catalog tag 25€ + shipping, unique custom heads 50€ + shipping. includes faceup and eyes. can be any size, up to 1/3 scale.

maximum height for full dolls is 35cm. bigger prints cost extra, depending on size.

familiars also fall under catalog pricing, but are more flexible. they can be mixed&matched from all parts i've made, and colors can be whatever i happen to have on hand/am able to find. the tag for just familiars is here. you can also order a familiar with custom parts.

all dolls are fdm 3d-printed in PLA. this means the following things:

they are very lightweight and reasonably sturdy.

there will be some layer lines and imperfections. i check the quality of every doll, but a 3d print will never be as flawlessly smooth as a resin doll or a mass-produced plastic doll.

they are non-toxic, though should not be given to children to chew on because they're entirely made of small parts strung together with elastic cord.

i'm not currently selling any digital files.

turnaround time is 2-8 weeks. keep in mind i am one person with one printer, so technical problems can cause delays. payments via paypal invoice when i'm ready to start working. bank transfer and mobilepay are also ok for finnish customers. i ship worldwide, cost depends on location; starting at around 20€ for eu, 45€ for usa, and somewhere in-between for the rest of the world. let me know where you live and i'll give you an exact shipping quote.

a description of your character

functional: class and any subclass/specialisation, what they’re good at, how they fight, any weapons or tools they use or have on their person visual: race (both in the dnd and the real life sense), gender, age, body type, hair style and colour, eye colour, skin colour, the clothes and armour they wear, any other noticeable physical characteristics like scars, tattoos, jewellery… personality: background, brief summary of backstory if you like, temperament (e.g. grumpy, bubbly, sneaky etc), anything else you feel is relevant to their character

specific pose you’d like the character to be drawn in, if you have one

any visual reference* of the character you have (your own art, artwork commissioned from someone else, a pinterest board, a tag on your blog, the name of a famous person or character they look like, culture or historical period their outfit is based on, etc.)

the ability to contact you throughout the process in case I need to ask follow-up questions

* if you are not able to provide any visual references, i will include an additional 10€ design fee, because without visual reference i need to do research to come up with a design, which can be time-consuming

soo apparently it's been decided that i haven't been paying enough taxes and i now owe over 6000 dkk by july 1st (around 867 USD). my family is disabled and lives month to month and doesn't have this kind of money so i am humbly asking for help with this. i know i will likely not get ALL of what i'm asking but just know that everything helps. we're going to call about a payment plan but we're still going to need all the help we can get.
