The organic fertilizer pelletizer cannot be separated from the mobile belt conveyor in the pelleting process
In the process of organic fertilizer production line granulation, mobile belt conveyor plays an important role. It can effectively output the material from the pelletizer and evenly disperse it to various places to ensure the smooth progress of the production process.
The conveyor belt of the mobile belt conveyor can quickly transfer the material in the pelletizer, avoiding the cumbersome and time-consuming problem of manual handling. In addition, it can also ensure the uniform dispersion of the material, so that the quality of organic fertilizer granulation is guaranteed. At the same time, the flexibility and mobility of the mobile conveyor enables it to adapt to different production sites and needs, which greatly improves production efficiency.
Secondly, the mobile conveyor can also fine control the material, so as to ensure the quality and uniformity of organic fertilizer. In addition, it has high reliability and can operate stably for a long time, reducing maintenance costs and downtime.
In addition, the use of mobile conveyor also reduces the labor intensity, reducing the tedious work of manual handling and handling. It not only reduces the labor burden of workers, but also improves the safety and reliability of production.
In short, the organic fertilizer granulator is inseparable from the mobile conveyor in the pelleting process. By using mobile conveyors, we can effectively improve production efficiency, ensure product quality, reduce labor intensity and cost, so as to maximize production benefits. Therefore, we should actively promote and apply mobile conveyors to make greater contributions to the development of organic fertilizer granulation industry.

How to Do Belt Installing of Batch Asphalt Mixing Plant?
The asphalt plants or asphalt mixing plant is one plant that is used for mixing the dry warm aggregate, padding and asphalt for homogeneous mixture at the required temperature. And it is widely used to the construction of highway, city road and parking lot.
The major components of a batch asphalt mixing plant are the cold- feed system, asphalt cement supply system, aggregate dryer, mixing tower, and emission-control system.
The main activity of an asphaltbatch type mixing plant is that it heats up aggregates and then mixes them with bitumen and other adhesive substances to generate hot mix asphalt. The quantity and nature of the aggregate are dependent on the specific requirements.

We tend to talk about the decline in young adults’ home ownership as if it were a universal phenomenon. This is wrong. The share of 25-to-34-year-olds who own their own home in the US is six percentage points lower today than it was in 1990. In Germany it’s down eight points, in France just three, but in Britain the drop is 22 points. It’s a similar story with incomes, where Britons in their thirties are tracing the same trajectories as their forebears while Americans are leaving theirs in the dust. The conveyor belt of socio-economic progress may have slowed elsewhere in the west, but in Britain it has sheared in two, leaving a generation stranded below. As Rob Ford, professor of political science at the University of Manchester, put it to me, this has completely changed the political calculus for young people. In the old Thatcherite world, young Britons had realistic expectations of upward mobility and home ownership, and their political interests naturally lay with the party of homeowners and low taxes. Today none of these things are true. The sense of betrayal is palpable. Ben Ansell, professor of comparative democratic institutions at Nuffield College, Oxford has shown that young Britons have lost the belief in social mobility that was a given for their parents’ generation. Applying his methodology internationally, I find that just 39 per cent of British under-30s trust that hard work will bring rewards, far below those in the US (60 per cent) and Germany (49), and also far below the 60 per cent of British 70-somethings who believe the same because it was true for them.
John Burn-Murdoch, Why are young people deserting conservatism in Britain but nowhere else?

I recently saw someone asking on Reddit about gaming as a person with a chronic illness or disability which got me thinking...
So I divide games into four categories based on how taxing they are and what device they require. And the category I choose a game from depends on my pain and energy levels.
Here's the four categories and the games I play in each one (please add your faves!):
1. Idle mobile games for when I'm really low on energy and experiencing high amounts of pain (basically, when I'm feeling drowsy and disconnected but just laying in bed is boring and I can't fall asleep)
Cluster duck (an idle duck breeding game that's quite cute and feels quite different to your bog-standard idle clicker)
Pizza Ready (you "manage" a pizza joint but it's really just running from one side to the other)
any other idle clicker game that keeps me focused on something but without really using any brain power. There are hundreds (maybe thousands) of these.
2. More-involved mobile games or basic PC/console games for when I have more brain power and some energy, and medium pain. These will require a fair amount of thinking, maybe some basic strategizing, but don't require a lot of planning or multitasking
Plants vs Zombies (fight the zombie invasion by placing plants in their way; a retro classic game available on mobile and PC)
Pokemon Go (yes, it's marketed as an outdoor walking game but if you live in an urban area, you might find enough Pokemon in your house/backyard and battles can be done from anywhere)
Lemmings (a mobile app game based on the old PC game; place directions or ladders so the creatures reach their goal)
Tower War (using a similar concept to the boardgame Risk, send your soldiers out to capture other towers)
3. Cozy or "easy" PC games for when I'm feeling good enough to sit up with my laptop and I have reasonable brain power and energy
Stardew Valley (a very cute and cozy farming game with a little bit of mining if you want to do it, and a storyline)
Minecraft but on creative; I'll try out build ideas but without the intensity of a survival game
4. Other PC games for the days I'm feeling "good" (i.e. minimal pain, decent energy) or, to be honest, the days when I don't give a shit how I feel, I wanna do something exciting and gaming is the closest I can get. I have a tendency to favour survival and crafting games so this might be an absolutely useless list for some of you
Valheim (my all-time favourite game and one of the most visually beautiful games ever; an open -world survival game with crafting, building, and farming, as well as combat)
Minecraft on survival (open-world survival game with some combat, crafting, building, and farming)
Raft (start on a tiny raft and gather resources to build onto your raft, discover islands, solve small puzzles, some basic farming)
Barotrauma (a 2D submarine adventure in which you complete missions, collect resources, recruit crew, and fight monsters of the deep)
Factorio (for my fellow management nerds; build a network of conveyor belts and factories, and then optimise for efficiency!)
Disclaimer: all mobile games mentioned above are for Android (I don't know if they're available on apple) and I can only speak for my experience as a 30-something person with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue; if you have additions or edits to suggest based on your experience, I'd love to hear it 🤞

I played two games of Mario Party 9 not too long ago + a minigame mode!
First time through, I played as Bobby (Peach) with Hoppy, Kickin, and Picky (Daisy, Wario, and Birdo respectively). Kickin chose the board most likely (it was Blooper Beach anyways). So basically some interesting notes I picked up from that + potential hcs...
Kickin seems like he would be pretty good with minigames that require some skill. Bro literally got a perfect strike in Goomba Bowling. Funny enough, Picky also got a strike there- (she was determined ig). Ngl, Hoppy only got 13 points there, but I feel like she might've done better with that minigame (taking account the events that DID happen though, she probably was a little salty Kickin and Picky got it with that much ease-). Meanwhile Bobby didn't get any points. She tried copying what Kickin and Picky did, but... it didn't quite work out for her T^T
Okay, when it came to that and the previous minigame Player Conveyor, it made me think that Bobby isn't the best with certain minigames compared to others. She managed to get better in this round after the mini boss with Lakitu, though. (She struggled with that a little in the beginning but has pretty much gotten the hang of things by the time he was all mad and stuff-)
At one point, Kickin landed everyone on a 1v3 space and he picked the minigame Mob Sleds. I feel like, talking about characters here, he picked that thinking he wasn't going to get caught. But no joke- LITERALLY AT THE LAST SECOND BOBBY GOT TO HIM- Hoppy just dying laughing in the background and teasing Kickin when that happened. Picky was probably like, "Oh damn..." and Kickin is just sitting there with his jaw dropped like- "HOW?? HOW?!?!" (his ego got crushed there lol) Also, made me realize those Wario poses are literally him 💀
By this point, Bobby has gotten a better hang of the minigames. She was likely more desperate to try to catch up at least since she was in last originally- The others are impressed but also probably like "Oh, now it is on!" with her lol (if we're talking character here, she may not be so desperate to the point she would make everyone else get in the path of Mini Ztars, which I feel bad about btw because that's literally what I made her do and then I was thinking back about that decision and made me realize that Bobby would've just taken the Mini Ztars for the party's benefit T^T Ig the excuse I could put here would be that she was desperate because she kept falling behind before)
She still didn't do THAT good with all the minigames though. Particularly Upward Mobility (she wasn't as fast with it as the others were; partially due to my own inability to win that minigame lmao). I think she also does the memory related ones well. She wouldn't have THAT good of a memory as Bubba ofc, but she did good in minigames such as Plunder Ground.
Btw, not only is Bobby a total tild card in the minigames, but she is also pretty much the group's savior. The second the event happened where Mini Ztars were filling the board she just happened to get the right number needed to reverse them back to Mini Stars. The group was probably relieved as heck when that happened-
HOPPY'S MINIGAME SHOWED UP AT ONE POINT :)) Unfortunately she didn't win though 😔 (she definitely would win that more going by character though) Kickin and Picky were neck and neck by the end, and Picky ended up beating him. He was pretty salty about that since he was sure he would win now that Hoppy's rocket fell behind (his ego recovered in that gap between Mob Sleds and Launch Break ig and now it cracked again lol). Bobby did lose ten mini stars from getting 4th this time tho since they got Launch Break through a Fire Bro battle minigame... (this is weird cuz like, you want to feel bad because she keeps getting the short end of the stick when she doesn't win. She got fourth in quite a few of the minigames where she didn't get first, but like- she's also doing very well with them at the same time 😶 She literally kept swapping between receiving 1st and 4th with BARELY an in between- Talking character though, I feel like she'd be more likely to get like 2nd or 3rd in minigames. When she loses though, OH BOY SHE LOSES-
By the homestretch, the party was getting more into the Bowser Spaces (not AS frequently as that one experience that was mentioned for a different round but it was still a lot). Mainly Kickin kept getting those spaces, and let's just say... my dude's got LUCKY with those! 2 times out of 3 he landed on giving mini stars to last place, but the thing is... HE IS IN LAST PLACE LMAO. HE JUST KEPT RECEIVING MINI STARS FROM BOWSER. Even in the one time Kickin didn't get that in the Bowser Roulette he still didn't lose Mini Stars. There was a reverse mini game at one point (Thwomper Room) and he WON. By that point, Kickin was just joking like- "BOWSER SURE LOVES ME TODAY". Hoppy and Picky were just rolling their eyes. Bobby in the background just listening but also being sad that she didn't get out first (she and Kickin got hurt by the thwomp around the same time, but Kickin seemed to have gotten to it a frame before she did TvT' Also ig the excuse for Bobby wanting to get out here is that she couldn't imagine the others getting hurt by the Thwomps lol- The others would be like "Sure sure..." She can be mean against them if she wants to, but probably wouldn't be so mean to the point that they can't recover).
Also thought it'd be funny to mention that during the homestretch, Bobby just to happened to get the lucky space TWICE that led the party to the star island, but Picky was always the one that won all the Mini Stars at the end. She really did get lucky there- After this point, most likely everyone was certain Picky was going to win considering where she stood between the rest of the party, so they started to get a bit tense about that I think lol.
Near the end with the Bonus Stars, I genuinely thought Picky was going to win the Minigame Star since she kept getting first in many minigames. I guess I didn't keep track of how often she did, tho- Bobby still won it despite how many times she got 4th in some of them (she has really gotten better near the end ig). Speaking of Bobby and Picky, Picky had a LOT of Mini Stars in general, but because of Bobby landing on the Boss Battle space, receiving first place from Wiggler AND the captain bonus, I'm pretty sure that was the upper hand she needed cuz SHE WON!! Nobody was mad completely though since she was getting kind of screwed during the rounds. Though I can imagine Hoppy used what Kickin said earlier about Bowser loving him to her advantage though since he ended in 4th lol. Hoppy herself got 3rd (she was a little salty about that since she thought she'd do better, especially with the minigames but they were surprisingly not her strong suit this time. Kickin probably tried to tease her back about that lol). Meanwhile, Picky was just proud of Bobby for winning, though deep down kinda sad because she thought for sure she would win ;v; Bobby beat her by ONE mini star lol. For context, Bobby got 71 Mini Stars, Picky got 70, Hoppy got 53, and Kickin got 46.
Alr, second time through, I decided to play as CatNap (Shy Guy) with DogDay (Toad), CraftyCorn (Yoshi), and Bubba (Koopa). The board chosen was Toad Road since two out of the four Critters in that round (DogDay and CraftyCorn as was mentioned before) have that as their favorite. So what happened here that could be potential hcs? Well...
Not TOO much happened at the very beginning. Though at 10 to Win, I can imagine Bubba was absolutely trying his hardest to remember where every single card was despite how scrambled they all were. He didn't do too badly, but some of the cards were mainly ones he didn't want to get completely. CatNap's the opposite I imagine. He just chooses whatever seems right. That didn't work too well for him in this round, though (he got last ;-;) Crafty kept getting cards that supported everyone from what I remember (probably relieved her to know she could've gotten worse than she did). Pretty sure DogDay mostly won because of the cards the others chose (like a 1st card Bubba ended up getting at some point, DogDay was in 1st at the time and I can imagine Bubba just facepalmed when he did that-)
Just want to mention that Shy Guy's fourth place animation did make me think of CatNap, though I feel like if CatNap showed how he'd react to last place, he would just sleep away his sorrows if he got last lol
Speaking of CatNap, I feel like he's a menace in Mario Party. Like, anywhere else he's pretty chill, but make him play a game? Oh, it's like there's another side of him sorta- (he still keeps his laid back energy but he's clearly having fun against the party) Mainly thought of that because of him getting a 1v3 minigame (Spike-n-Span) and he pretty much wasn't holding back. He got EVERYONE.
I guess Bubba learned about how easy it was for CatNap to win that minigame because literally when he landed on a 1v3 space himself, HE CHOSE THAT SAME MINIGAME- He probably leeches off of the experiences he witnesses in the game and uses what he has seen to his advantage (it doesn't help for the others that Bubba has really good memory so he would probably know what to do to win; this could go for Mario Party in general tbh). Unfortunately, Bubba lost the minigame that time- Ironically enough tho, CatNap got out first lol
Every time the party kept getting Bowser Jr spaces, it was because of DogDay. I find it funny that Bowser Jr always paired him with CatNap tho (probably bc of him being first player tbf tho). First Bowser Jr minigame they played together wasn't so good. They played Sand Trap, and CatNap was a little confused on what to do. DogDay wasn't faring much better though. I feel like he was mainly waiting to see what CatNap was planning so he took his time. When they lost that one, I feel a part of CatNap was probably thinking "If we go down then we go down together :>" but another part of him felt bad because he legit had no idea what he was doing. DogDay was likely assuring him after that, hopeful that they'd win against Bowser Jr again next time. Sure enough, when DogDay landed on another Bowser Jr space, they did :) That minigame was Double Pounder. The instructions were easier for them to understand by that point. CatNap didn't really mind that DogDay got Mini Stars too that time (pretty sure DogDay wasn't in first by that point from what I remember). DogDay was just happy the two were able to win together. Probably gave CatNap a small hug after that. (Meanwhile Bobby in the background is just going: AWWWWWW 🥹🥹)
Oh yeah, Crafty was just chilling with her first place status in the first half too. She had about 33 mini stars during that point. She's not exactly planning on bragging about her status. She was just internally hoping she wouldn't get destroyed later TvT (she got this ahead because of a lucky space she landed on where climbed up a vine and got all the mini stars in that area- 12 MINI STARS) At some point, CatNap was catching up to her in terms of Mini Stars so there likely was some tension by that point. Crafty is just scared but at the same time defensive about her stars. Meanwhile CatNap was probably just silently hoping something happens to her stars and that he can get ahead-
This especially shows when Crafty got the Captain event. She legit chose CatNap to go last 💀 She was hoping it would be less likely for him to get the stars at the end if he was last. For more context, she chose Bubba to go first, then either herself or DogDay, but considering she was still in first, I think she was thinking that she could get the Mini Stars if she rolled high enough, so she would've needed to be the third person to do that- Unfortunately, Crafty's ploy didn't go too well. CatNap STILL got the stars at the end. Pretty sure that made them even in Mini Stars by that point-
CatNap just casually dominating most minigames... Pretty much like that with minigames like Pinball Fall. My guy literally didn't fall down a hole ONCE during his run- I think he probably has a bit of luck similar to Picky but he also is genuinely determined to win and happy to see the others struggling in the minigames deep down. Doesn't exactly voice this, but if you paid attention to his expressions, you'd know
Also, I think CatNap just pretty much wins a lot of the Reverse Minigames. The minute he hears that's what happens when the group lands on a Bowser space, he's like "K. I always wondered what happened if I just willingly jumped into this" in the most casual tone. DogDay would just look back at him concerned-
Meanwhile for Bubba, poor guy barely won many of the minigames (much less end up in 1st). I feel like he would still do very well in certain minigames taking character into account. He probably wouldn't be super fast though since he would prefer to calculate his moves I can imagine. Probably why he waited so long to even try to hit in the minigame Logger Heads (ironically enough though, he still ended up hitting a bomb at one point-) What made things worse for him was that he got no points and it was a Bowser minigame where they fought between half of the whole party's Mini Stars. He was already in last place by that point. He was likely frustrated about that, but pretty calm about the frustration anyway. Just silently facepalming and grumbling at himself for doing something he sees as dumb. Can also imagine that in general, Bubba would get much more quiet if he was in last due to the frustration but also because of trying to focus and think about ways to get himself back in the game. The party would probably be concerned about that-
Okay, I just wanna say for the record... The bosses in this round are the exact same as last time. For highlights there, Bubba got the captain bonus for the Lakitu boss and Yoshi's 4th place animation legit made me think: "Yeah, that looks like Crafty right there" because I could imagine her doing that 🥺 As for the Wiggler boss, CatNap was literally dominating everyone in that. He didn't even lose any points either. He also had the captain's bonus lol I imagine he just did all that with the most chill expression ever, too lol. He'd probably just be like "Imagine losing..." to everyone else in a casual way. If Kickin was playing against him, he would get offended by that so much lol
Speaking of dominating, there was NO CONTEST with the winner by that point. CatNap beat everyone by at least 60 MINI STARS- HE GOT 104 TOTAL COMPARED TO CRAFTY'S 40, DOGDAY'S 37, AND BUBBA'S 30 NEAR THE END- I blame that on Logger Heads tbh. The minute that minigame happened, CatNap just dominated Crafty in winnings. There wasn't really a chance for her to win now T^T Bubba was disappointed in himself but at the same time, not surprised that CatNap won now. He also blames CatNap's winning on Logger Heads and luck (since CatNap could get the captain's bonus easily since he was only a couple spaces away so he could use his 4-6 dice he kept on him) Meanwhile DogDay is just absolutely amazed by how well CatNap did. No bad blood against him at all. He's just happy for him :> (We love the golden retriever and black cat energy)
Finally, I decided to do one of the minigame modes for fun. I chose to play as Kickin this time and also adding Bobby, Crafty, and Bubba. I chose for them to do Choice Challenge. They had to choose between five minigames, which were Thwomper Room, Urn It, Tuber Tug, Polar Extreme, and Pit or Platter.
Bubba was the only one to choose both Thwomper Room and Urn It. LITERALLY JUST HIM. He got 200 points right off the bat. Bobby and Crafty were pretty worried by that point, but Kickin wasn't at all expecting that- He was probably making sure he won the next minigames he chose. Funnily enough, he was trying to go for Thwomper Room, too, but he must've accidentally chose another minigame. It would've been a StarStudent matchup there (sorry StarStudent shippers ;-;)
Bubba didn't choose Tuber Tug and Polar Extreme but Bobby, Crafty, and Kickin did, so it was literally just competition against those three for a bit. They practiced Tuber Tug first through Kickin's plea because he was wanting to make sure his Wii Remote worked (he wanted to make sure he could dominate his competition- Don't blame him). I can imagine Hoppy would likely be calling him a chicken in the background for not going straight into the minigame despite knowing how to do it. Either way, Kickin won the minigame and got 100 points. Crafty got 50, and Bobby 30. No practice was done for Polar Extreme as the instructions were simple. (Btw, this was the minigame Kickin accidentally picked over Thwomper Room-) All three of them still never made it to the goal, though Bobby survived the longest so she won. This time Bobby got 100 points, Kickin got 50, and Crafty 30. Considering how well she did with the minigames last time they played together, I can imagine Kickin would get pretty suspicious of Bobby. Though he isn't nearly as worried about her as he is with Bubba. Y'know... THE DUDE WHO GOT FIRST PLACE AND DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO TRY TO GET THERE.
Everyone chose the Chance minigame, Pit or Platter. Kickin's ego was probably kicking in again by that point because he's usually good with skill minigames. This one wasn't his best attempt at it though. Hoppy calling him out probably cut him deep so he didn't choose to practice this time, even though he probably needed it- Either way, he just wanted to make sure it wasn't Bubba that won. Sure enough, Bubba didn't win that minigame. Bobby did
Bobby really proved to be a wild card when it comes to minigames, but it actually goes in her favor this time- She actually won against Bubba by 30 points. She had 280 and he had 250. Crafty and Kickin were pretty far down in terms of points though. Poor Crafty didn't get first place once- Kickin meanwhile is just glad Bubba didn't win but also a little salty that Bobby won since she won against him last time- It didn't really matter to Bobby that she won anyway. She was just happy to play with her friends. She let them know that too through her usual affection :>
(Sorry this was so long, but I had a lot of fun doing this- It's not everyday I'm able to play on my Wii due to college stuff 🙃 I hope you liked what I listed tiara, and in general, I hope y'all enjoyed =v=') Speaking of tiara, credits to her for the Mario Party 9 headcanons idea for the Smiling Critters. These were fun to come up with :)

I've been thinking a lot about season 1-3 Spencer with sweaty palms and a handful of books trying to ask out the girl at his local bookstore 💕 for your blurbs!
Season 1-3 Spencer: babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy <3
---------------
"I can do this. I can do this." Spencer reassured himself. But all Morgan's pep talks about women and Penelope's bizarre dating ideas weren't helping Spencer overcome his anxiety right now.
All the confidence he could build for an entire week vanished every Saturday as soon as he stepped foot in the bookstore and saw her behind the counter.
Like a good scientist, Spencer had analyzed all the options to address the issue, but none gave him the certainty he needed. On the contrary, he could only think about the rejection he would receive and that the girl would laugh in his face.
Maybe this wasn't the time, and he thought it was better to try the following Saturday. But when he was about to make that choice, the girl at the counter looked at him with a warm smile on her lips.
Shit. Spencer hadn't realized he was standing in the center of the bookstore, in full view of everyone, with a stack of books in his arms. When did he take all those books?
He'd been caught, and now he'd have to go through with the plan—which wasn't a plan because he didn't have one in the first place.
Walking to the counter, Spencer could feel his palms sweating and his knees shaking as he got closer to her.
"Hello. I see this Saturday you got carried away," the girl pointed out, seeing the stack of books.
Wait, what? Has she been noticing him? Oh, shit.
Spencer felt like he could faint then and there. He couldn't say anything, just nodded, leaving the pile over the counter.
How would he ask her out if he couldn't say a word?
There was no way this was going to work.
The girl began to inspect the books and pass them through the reader. Spencer just stared at her dumbfounded.
"I didn't know your taste was so varied," the girl commented, smiling and looking back at him.
Say something, Spencer. Just say something.
"Yeah. I - I am comfortable with - with all types of writings," Spencer stuttered.
"I see that. Mechanics' business and erotica seem quite broad."
What?! Spencer certainly hadn't paid attention to the books he pulled from the shelves.
Spencer's face flushed red. Now he did just want to run and disappear.
"I - uhm -"
"Don't worry. I like to read that kind of thing too. I mean, the mechanics ones," she spoke, winking at him.
Spencer clearly didn't get the hint.
"Oh! Did you know there are nearly as many different types of mechanics as there are different types of vehicles and motors? Farm equipment mechanics who deal with tractors, harvesters, and other farm machinery. Motorboat mechanics who handle inboard or outboard boat engines. The Mobile heavy equipment mechanics work on construction machinery such as cranes, bulldozers, and conveyors. And, of course, Motorcycle mechanics who maintain and repair motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds," Spencer ranted. The girl seemed impressed and equally amused.
"I didn't know, actually," the girl answered truthfully.
"I can give you book recommendations related to that if you'd like," Spencer offered enthusiastically and less overwhelmed than he had been three minutes ago.
The girl returned a genuine smile. The boy was rather shy and oblivious but adorable by all accounts.
"Or maybe you could tell me more about that over a coffee?" she said.
Spencer's mouth went agape. A coffee? With her?
Almost speechless, he nodded. The girl nodded as well.
"Great! my shift ends at noon. Can we go to the coffee shop down the street if you're free?"
Spencer nodded again.
Say something, you idiot! He chastised himself.
"It would be great. Sure. I - I'll come back by noon. Sure. I'll be here." Spencer assured, a big smile forming on his lips.
Of all the options Spencer considered, this was the least likely. But without a doubt, the best one.

Chapter 12: Name me Dragon
I filled out my forms, I submitted them along with the administration fees. I did that over a week ago.
Today is my court date.
I find it fascinating as I enter the building and cue up to the metal detector that this is the first time since dracomorphosis that it occurs to me that I’m naked. I’m going to court naked, except for my purse.
The purse goes in a basket on the conveyor, to be examined more closely by the little boxy x-ray machine. Rhoda helps take it off for me, before dealing with her own stuff, because she’s accompanying me.
Today she’s my emotional support human. That’s what she told me. And I appreciate it.
But then she says that she just really wants to be there to see me get my new name.
She seems more proud of me than I am.
And I appreciate that, too.
It’s really nice.
The guards are cordial and usher me through, and I set off the metal detector.
There are sighs all around, and I’m directed to step aside while one of the officers examines me with a wand. And the wand doesn’t stop humming. There is not an inch of me that doesn’t set it off. I’m wondering if this isn’t telling me something about my physiology I didn’t know. But I’m also getting nervous about it.
Another wand is used to the same effect. Then both wands are tested on Rhoda, who rolls her eyes, and they don’t buzz.
The guard lowers his chin and looks at me through furrowed brows and says very straight faced and sternly, “Do you swear not to breathe fire or eat anyone while you are in this building?”
“Yes,” I say.
“Okay. That’s going to have to do. Do you know where you’re going?”
“Yes,” I reply.
“Courtroom A,” Rhoda supplies, reaching over to put my purse around my neck again. “Judge Nguyen.”
“Excellent. That’s name changes today, isn’t it?”
“Yes.”
“Congratulations, I hope it goes well for you,” the guard says.
“Thanks.”
“Thank you,” Rhoda adds.
“The elevator’s that way,” the guard gestures.
And we go.
For some reason, I half expected a recreation of the Matrix lobby scene. I don’t know what makes me more rattled. That there was the one glitch that caused the extra hullabaloo, or that it went so smoothly anyway.
When we get to the courtroom, we’re early. But it’s open, and people are filtering in from the thin traffic of court goers, lawyers, and petitioners headed to other places. Most people in this building are regular citizens taking care of unfortunate or hopeful business, dressed in everything from a yellow windbreaker and a hoodie to a Men’s Warehouse suit. The people with more expensive clothing, if they are here, are already in the rooms they want to be in, few and far between.
In this courtroom, there are a handful of women of different ethnicities and ages in either their Sunday best or professional work clothes befitting a restaurant hostess, and a couple men accompanying their teenage children. And one couple that look like they’re feeling all newlywed. Presumably. For some reason, besides the children, I’m gendering everyone based on how they look, and I’ve been trying to avoid that.
I can’t sit in any particular chair, but we find a space that’s usually set aside for wheelchairs and I use that. I’m not exactly mobility impaired, but I am disabled in other ways, and I’m certainly space impaired. I’ve definitely gotten bigger.
I’ve been hoping I might be the Artist of transformation, just so that I could change my own size and shape, to avoid the day I wouldn’t be able to enter a building like this. But, Chapman’s agreed to work on another piece of jewelry for me, to reduce my size back down to where I started when I wear it. It just won’t be ready for a couple years, is all.
And as I sit in that spot, I feel my tablet buzzing in my purse while I wait for the Judge to join us. I resolve to ignore it through the whole process. Nothing is as important to me right now as getting through this court hearing.
And then the bailiff announces Judge Nguyen’s entrance and tells everyone to stand, which I do along with everyone else who is capable of it. By the time this happens, a few more people have joined us, including someone in a wheelchair who is across the aisle from me.
Nguyen enters looking slightly less like a judge than I expected. She’s dressed very professionally, but for some reason I expected a robe. But, maybe that’s for fancier courtes. Or just for photos? I’m going to have to look that up.
But she carries herself like a judge, and pushes her glasses up as she casually and cheerfully says, “Hello. Thank you for attending today. This is one of my favorite functions as a judge, and I hope to make this process as smooth as possible for all of you. You may be seated.” Then she sits down. “Now. When I call your name – your new name – I’d like you to come forward with your identification ready, and answer my questions. And when you and I are done, you may either be seated, or you may leave. If I award you your name, I will hand you your signed court order, which you should take to the clerk’s office to get it stamped and recorded. And the public list of name changes will be displayed in the hallway tomorrow morning. You won’t need to check that, because you’ll already have the paperwork you need verifying your new identity.”
She pauses to look around the room to see if everyone was listening.
“If you have further questions, the clerk can help you with them. Now, I’m going to go about this alphabetically by last name,” she says. “Can Corin Ascalia please come forward.”
I do pay a lot of attention to what is said, to make note of it and know what to expect, but my emotions and thoughts are occupied by how cool it is that I seem to be going through this procedure with other trans people.
Corin looks so happy, and they are bouncing a little bit throughout the whole interview, which is short.
And when Judge Ngunyen is done, she signs the court order, then hands it to Corin Ascalia with a hand shake, saying, “Congratulations. It is my honor to serve you with your new name, Corin Ascalia.” And she’s beaming with her own smile.
As Corin leaves looking pumped full of endorphins, Judge Nguyen calls forward the next person, who I guess is a single young woman who is probably changing her last name. I don’t know if it’s due to a marriage or a divorce, or to distance herself from her family. But she seems satisfied with her decision and pays extra attention to every direction.
With my new last name starting with a “D”, there are only two other people before I’m called up. I do my best to appreciate each of them in turn, to try to remember who they are. But I’m getting too nervous and dissociating a little.
Then Judge Nguyen says, “Can Meghan Estragon Draconis please come forward.” And she looks directly at me over her glasses, and everyone else follows her gaze. She smiles. It’s not her first smile today, but it’s directed at me and it looks genuine.
Rhoda pats me on my shoulder, then hands me my ID and birth certificate, which I take gingerly in my mouth.
And I get up and walk down the aisle to Judge Nguyen’s bench.
My tablet buzzes, and I continue to ignore it. It doesn’t seem Judge Nguyen heard it.
“May I see your identification?” she asks.
I place it on the bench, and she picks up my card and then my birth certificate and looks at them reverently and carefully, comparing them to my file, which she’s just opened in front of her. She nods, placing my items back on the bench in front of me. Then she speaks some more.
“Meghan, do you swear that you take this new name in good faith? That you are not using it to evade responsibility or debt? And that it represents who you feel that you are and want to be moving forward?” she asks.
“Yes,” I reply, in my own voice. I gathered from all previous applicants that I wouldn’t need my tablet for this. I’m proud to use my own syrinx to speak these words.
“Very good,” she says. “Then it is my honor to sign this court order stating that you are, from this day forth, to be known as Meghan Estragon Draconis.” She doesn’t offer to shake my hand, but she does carefully bundle my identification with my newly signed court order, and files it in a folder with a paperclip, before holding it out to me. Her eyes are sparkling, as she adds, “I’m proud of you for this. It’s a good name. It suits you.”
She obviously saw my deadname. She knows I’m trans, not just a dragon taking on a new draconic name.
I’m a little overwhelmed.
“Thanks,” I say, wishing I’d learned a more formal version. I could add “you” now, but “thanks you” would sound even weirder.
Then, I smile as I take my paperwork.
I take a step back and bow low, lowering my shoulders and my head, rising quickly enough after a beat that she doesn’t have much chance to comment. Then I turn and walk proudly back up the aisle to Rhoda, my head held as high as possible.
My tablet is going mad with buzzing.
Dammit, what the fuck is happening?
I can’t deal with it. I need to go to the County Clerk’s office. That’s next.
—
The clerk’s office is just annoying simple bureaucracy with a line and more paperwork. But short paperwork. Mostly paperwork handled by the person behind the counter.
And then we’re done and making our way out of the courthouse.
It’s Thursday, September 19th, and I’ve received my new legal name on Talk Like a Pirate Day. I kind of want that to be special, but it really mostly feels kind of funny.
But the clouds coincidentally move just as I step out of the building to uncover the sun, which shines down on me with as much warmth as it can muster, and I’m struck.
It literally feels like the Earth, the mother of all dragons, is blessing me and my new name, and it’s like the blessing is warming my heart, gizzard, and fire sack directly. And for quite some time after that my very soul feels larger than my body and visibly radiant.
Rhoda lets me see her tears, crying about something happy.
She pats me on my shoulder again, and then manages to gasp out a question, barely able to talk from emotion, “Maybe you should check your messages? Or should I do that for you?”
I look at her, partially closing my eyes, and then I look down the street toward our coffee shop, which is just two blocks away.
“Yeah,” she says, more strongly. “Let’s go do that over some tea and cookies.”
—
There are a bunch of things I do not think about as we walk to our actual home, our coffee shop. But it’s probably a good idea to review them here anyway. Things that might matter.
They are certain to occur to me fairly soon, in any case.
I’ve not been particularly attendant to my groups of people, humans or dragons. I set them up. I pushed them in directions I wanted them to go. Or, rather, I stated clearly what I hoped they would become. And then I found myself forgetting about them.
I’ve only delved into Discord, for instance, to deal with the things I’ve wanted to deal with, and I’ve found it hard to look at or review many of the notifications. I’ve been pretty good at private direct messages, but there haven’t been very many of those directed specifically at me.
I’ve treated my group SMS chat fairly similarly, though I’m more engaged with that. Until today, obviously. I was busy today.
I did post that document of advice for direct action and group security that Rhoda gave me to my discord and to our group chat. But then, I didn’t really do anything more than that. I’m not sure what I expected of myself or others there. I just did what I felt I could, and then I got distracted by other things. And then I didn’t hear from the Arboretum Klatch, as I’ve continued to call them, since.
Everything seems to have been fine and operating smoothly.
And I also haven’t really been paying a lot of attention to the local news, even though my situation seriously depends on it. I guess I’ve been relying on Rhoda and Chapman to keep tabs on that and alert me to any issues. But it means I don’t immediately know what’s going on in the government or what’s about to come down. I don’t know who has said what, and I’m not as familiar with the local politicians and their stances as I really should be.
I’ve been scared about Daniel Säure, and his influence over the local law enforcement and his demonstrated ability to kidnap me in my sleep. And so I’ve been focusing on addressing that directly by searching for that big gun I can use against him. My innate, inherent power that I’m maybe supposed to have, having been the center of the dracomorphosis.
I’ve maybe been a little too focused on that, but I still don’t know what I could have done differently, except maybe take time to write more letters with the help of the other dragons? It seems silly, though. I don’t know if our letters are even read.
Except the Mayor had been impressed with the one I sent her.
And this is saying nothing about national or even global politics, because fuuuuuuuuuuuuck. The tidbits of news I get about that from other people’s conversations and memes on the internet are terrifying and too much to handle.
Really cool things are happening with dragons around the globe. Really surprising and wonderful things. Individual people are praising and lauding the dragons in their lives. And dragons are reporting how surprisingly wonderful their humans are.
But then there’s the violence. The legislative violence and the physical violence. The words that people in power say on occasion.
Before August 24, the global focus seemed to me to be on trans people, and that was bad enough, and it was one reason I was still in the closet.
Now, it’s all about us dragons.
And I’ve been doing my best to ignore all that and focus on me, my people, my territory, my block, my building, my coffee shop, my two Artists and their weird stories and theories, Rhoda, and my name. And mostly on the latter three, because that’s where I seem to have the most strength, potential impact, support, and joy. The most agency.
I think I’ve been following the common old advice to do the easier things, the small things, to make sure the fundamentals are taken care of first, and work outward from there as possible.
But I’ve definitely been avoidant, too, and I should fix that.
I have also been feeling like I’m forgetting things, losing track of little details. But since I’ve forgotten them, I can’t do anything about them, and so I brush the thought aside and move on.
And since I’ve gotten my name changed to what it feels like it has always been, for those two blocks of walking with Rhoda in the late Summer sun, I’m simply blissful.
If I’m thinking of anything else, I’m maybe wondering if my soul is as old as Wentin’s.
—
As Rhoda opens the door for me, and I strut into the coffee shop all ready to utter my full name with my own syrinx, which I spent the last week and a half teaching myself how to do, I see the look in Jill’s eyes.
They are wide with alarm and eager to get my attention. She’s shaking behind the counter, and Cerce is carrying that nervousness too as she tries to work the espresso machine to fulfill orders.
The rest of the shop is very quiet, despite how many customers are in it. They’ve all been looking at their phones, tablets, or laptops. But now they’re looking at me.

❗️NINTENDO DIRECT SIDE ORDER THEORIES❗️ SPOILERS❗️
1: First, I think that all this is inside some kind of digital simulator(or at least a portion of it based on the glitches) It looks to be that Pearl is your side kick as a mobile drone. I wonder if Marina made it.
2: In the first portion, it looks like Agent Eight is moving through a some kind of factory. In the square clear boxes on the conveyor, you see iteams. I think that those are the source of where the mem cakes came from. They do look bigger then usual however(or maybe it’s just the camera angle).
3: Next we see some levels. Looks like our goal will be to ink up these black inky spheres. They look like the cores in Octo expansion. If I’m right with the digital world idea, it might be a virus or some kind of being that glitches out the world. As you can see throughout the trailer, their are patches in the background that are just black out glitch thingys.
4: DEBF1SH! Or Acht! I’m guessing that they will be a guide in this world. They don’t physically go with Eight but stays back like Cuttlefish did in Octo expansion. They will just waiting in the elevator. I’m guessing this elevator takes you to the stages. They seems to have information of this place, though they are trapped here like Eight seems to be. I am guessing that Acht will be lore dumping a lot about being friends with Marina and they’re background. Pearl is very vocal so she might question Acht’s physical appearance.
5: It goes rapid fire on the gameplay against enemies- Weird looking fish, no Octarians in sight being used as another evil. They look pretty tough with Eight always looking damaged and the fish coming in schools(groups). The technology that Eight is sporting makes is very interesting. It probably will look like that the more upgrades you get in the elevator.
And 6: I think the enemy is this black technological tornado here- Don’t know what it is fighting or protecting but we will see. It is probably the one making the world so glitchy and coded in the pictures already shown. Maybe their is someone or thing controlling it? It might be holding Marina prisoner somewhere? Or forcing her to engineer things for it? Who knows. The lack of Marinas voice or face in this are worrying. Pearl is a drone so I’m wondering where Pearl is physically at. As for Agent Four, no clue if they will make an appearance. I really hope so.
Closing Thoughts:
The Side Order DLC will take place in an unknown place and/or is in some kind of digital world. Their are Black inky cores that need to be taken out but fish enemies are in the way. Eight will need to take down those corrupted cores with the help of Pearl as a drone to go farther. It looks to be an elevator will be the transportation to each level. Acht will be assisting as a guide and get information on what is going on in this dlc. Once Eight is close to the end, the antagonist will proceed to stop them.
Thank you for reading all this jeez hah.
