solo per oggi rubiamo 5 minuti della vostra attenzione.

 il primo novembre, è iniziato il cosiddetto Movember, parola in cui potreste già esservi imbattuti online, tra l’altro in questi giorni è un  po’ la prima parola nei Twitter Trends.

Concretamente, è un mese in cui gli uomini che aderiscono alle iniziative – chiamati i “Mo bro”, “fratelli di baffo” – si fanno crescere i baffi per raccogliere fondi e sensibilizzare su alcune patologie che colpiscono gli uomini.

Il nome Movember viene dalla fusione delle due parole inglesi, “november” e “moustache” (novembre e baffi).

Dov’è nato tutto ? L’iniziativa è nata nel 2003, ideata da quattro amici di Melbourne, in Australia: negli anni è diventata sempre più popolare e ha trovato testimonial famosi e sponsorizzazioni di importanti marchi che si occupano di prodotti o cose per uomini.

Per avere più informazioni potere andare sul  sito ufficiale del Movember , dove spiega praticamente tutto quello che c’è da sapere. Si può leggere in cinque lingue diverse – inglese, spagnolo, portoghese, francese e italiano.

Possono partecipare anche le donne al Movember: le “Mo sista”, per cui non è prevista la crescita dei baffi, si attivano soprattutto pubblicizzando l’iniziativa e impegnandosi a sostenere gli uomini e a raccogliere fondi.
