I have been on a little binge on Powerpuff Girls Z (Remember that One Japanese Adaptation of the PPG where the Girls now go to High School, not even Sisters, and were just ordinary girls with Magical Girl Power? Or am I truly one of those kinds of people who have seen that?).

Anyways, because I've been a little nostalgia watch on some Good Old Classic CN Childhood, I wanted to try on watching the Anime version of the PPG and so far, I actually like the Anime more than the Original (even though I still love the Original series no matter what). I dunno why, maybe it's because that Obscurity and Anime are always running down through my blood? IDK but chances are that the First Foreign Reboot is a lot better than that sh*t 2016 reboot with some Creepy-Ass writer for a Self-Insert.

Because in the Anime version that the Girls are no longer sisters and actually have families of their own (with their Creator now having his own Family with a Single Son and Wife but still acts like a Father Figure to the Female Trio), I was most likely bumped that we never got to see who the Parents of Bubbles (or at least, "Miyako" as she was actually called in the Anime of the Japanese Dub) are since it was confirmed that she does live with her own Grandmother where's Blossom (Momoko) and Buttercup (Kaoru) live with their own Parents and Siblings. Miyako (I'm just gonna randomly call the PPG's Anime Counterparts by their own Actual Names, deal with it) is an Actual Single Child with No Parents and this leads Me into wonder what the Parents of the Single Daughter might've looked like.

So yeah, because we never got to see an Interpretation of Miyako's own parents (most likely based on an Idea where each of the Powerpuff Girls weren't even Sisters and had their own Family Trees, so to speak), I've wanted to try to do a little personal fanon interpretation of how I think what Miyako's parents might've looked like in the PPGZ Universe. My Headcanon names for Miyako's Parents are "Hanami" (Meaning "Flower") and "Mizuwokakeru" (Meaning "Water") or just "Mizu" for short, because since "Miyako" is actually a Japanese name meaning "Beauty", I'd figure why not just pick Random Japanese Names for Miyako's own parents that have meanings similar to their Daughter's name (because in the PPGZ universe, it was actually set in Japan much like how PPG was set in America).

I imagine that Hanami (the Mother) would be a Fashion Designer just like how her Daughter wanted to be and even the Father (Mizu) as a Former Sailor who retired from Sailing but is still attached to Nature's Sea Life.

BTW, Not really a fandom-joining mood btw, this is just for random fanart of random HCs or ideas that I don't think big much on.

They were my favourite when i was little, i always watch them and were like OMG I WANNA BE LIKE THEM SO SUGOII !!!!! 5 Anime Series with Weird Plots

1. Akikan!

Plot: Akikan (”Empty Can”) is the unlikely story of high school boy Kakeru Daichi, whose can of melon soda magically transforms into a human girl. More "akikan" girls begin appearing, each of them needing to be infused with carbon dioxide from their respective drink types to survive. The akikans were created as part of the 'Akikan Elect' to determine whether steel cans or aluminium cans are superior. The akikans must battle each other until only the strongest type is left standing.

This series doesn’t really make much sense. I mean...humanized, fizzy drink girls fighting to prove if steel or aluminum drink cans are superior? And it’s all part of a military experiment run by a gay guy and a strict secretary whose name is always mispronounced? While there are anime series about magical girls and a normal guy who gets involved with them, which is not unusual at all in the world of anime. But at least give it a storyline that actually makes sense!

It’s like they just came up with something random that could be used to advertise carbonated drinks. What better way to do that than to make fizzy fruit drinks into sexy, battle girls!

2. Asobi Asobase

Plot: The series centers on Hanako, Olivia and Kasumi, second year students at an all-girl middle school and the only three members of the Pastimers Club, a not officially recognized club. The club has very ambiguous goals, usually consisting of whatever so-called "pastimes" the girls happen to think up.

While this series does have its good moments, and has some clever jokes...the odd visuals, outrageous episode plots, and out-of-this-world facial expressions are what make it very, very strange. It’s basically one of those shows that is weird but good at the same time, depending on what you like.

If a Pastimers Club were to exist in real life...it would probably be something like this.

3. Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

Plot: The show revolves around the exploits of the Anarchy sisters, Panty and Stocking, angels who were kicked out of Heaven due to their bad behavior. They are sent to Daten City, a place on the border between Heaven and Hell, which is besieged by evil spirits referred to as "Ghosts". The sisters take refuge under the care of the reverend Garterbelt; under his watchful eyes, the sisters are tasked with using their ability to transform their lingerie into weapons, and using them to destroy malicious Ghosts. By doing so, the sisters earn "Heaven Coins" with which they intend to one day use to buy their way back into Heaven. However, Panty and Stocking are constantly sidetracked by their respective interests in men and sugary sweets.

The series is, by far, a very weird one. I mean...two fallen angels who turn their lingerie into weapons to fight evil ghosts, an afro priest with an interest in boys, a nerdy guy with a crush on the slutty sister, and a dog who looks like a knock-off of ‘Gir’ from Invader Zim? Just when you think it couldn’t get any stranger. 

While I admit, the show does have its serious moments...but it still goes pretty overboard with adult jokes and visualizations. No wonder these girls were banished from Heaven.

4. Powerpuff Girls Z

Plot: It takes place in Tokyo City (New Townsville in English dub) where Professor Utonium and his son, Ken Kitazawa and his toy dog, Peach were busy working on Chemical X, a powerful chemical substance but when they decided to have a tea break, Peach accidentally dropped a daifuku to a vat of Chemical X and the vat magically transforms to Chemical Z, a whole new form of the original powerful substance. However, when the Professor, Ken and Peach were discovering Chemical Z, a sudden climate change happened where several countries around the world were having an instant weather calamity so Ken used a beam ray attached to the vat of Chemical Z and blasts Chemical Z on one of the main icebergs in the Tokyo City bay and the impact of Chemical Z from the iceberg causes several black and white rays of light to appear in the skies above it.Then, three ordinary 13-year-old girls, Momoko Akatsutsumi, Miyako Gōtokuji, and Kaoru Matsubara, were engulfed in separate rays of white light and transforms them into Hyper Blossom, Rolling Bubbles, and Powered Buttercup, the heroines of justice, the Powerpuff Girls Z and Peach was also engulfed in a separate ray of white light transforming to a toy dog who can speak and calls the girls to transform into the Powerpuff Girls Z and then, numerous rays of black light engulfed several people, animals, objects and transforms them into evil monsters who wants to take over Tokyo City, so the Powerpuff Girls Z must protect the city thanks to the Professor, Ken, Mayor Mayer and his assistant, Ms. Bellum and uses their respective weapons like Blossom's yo-yo, Bubbles' bubble rod and Buttercup's hammer from evil monsters like Mojo Jojo, Fuzzy Lumpkins, Princess Himeko, Sedusa, the Gangreen Gang, the Amoeba Boys and numerous monsters to defeat them.

Everyone knows that this Japanese remake can never replace the original Powerpuff Girls. While the series isn’t terrible, and does have its moments, it’s still strange to see Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup not being sisters or having Professor Utonium as their father. I think the only part of the story that I actually liked was how the villains became the villains. 

But hey...we can see that the studio tried to make it a bit like the original cartoon. But it’s like they say: You can’t beat the classics. 

5. Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo

Plot: In the year 300X, the entire world is under the tyrannical rule of the Maruhage Empire and their ruler Tsuru Tsurulina IV (Chrome Dome Empire and Baldy Bald the 4th in the English dub). His Hair Hunt troop captures innocent bystanders' hair, leaving the people victims of the Hair Hunt troop's head shaving and their villages in ruins. Standing against this evil regime is the heroic, but bizarre, rebel Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo who fights the Hair Hunt Troop with his powerful Hanage Shinken (Fist of the Nose Hair). His team consists of the normal teen girl Beauty, the smelly teen warrior Heppokomaru (Gasser) and the Hajike leader Don Patch (Poppa Rocks). Bo-bobo is on an exciting, gag-filled quest in which he uses his hair as a weapon in many locales to fight the forces of the Maruhage Empire as he gains other allies along the way.

I don’t even know where to start. While we all like having a full head of hair...one could have never imagined that there would be an anime about it. This series is obviously a comedy and isn’t meant to be dramatic or anything serious like that.

We all know that this show is meant to be weird on purpose. If you love shows that are random and don’t make sense...then this show is perfect for you.

Name: Kaoru Matsubara or Buttercup

Age: 21

Appearance: a tall, curvy woman with porcelain skin and Emerald eyes. Her jet black hair was worn in a high bun. She wears a green and gold Ao dai dress with embroidered floral patterns and white heels. Her makeup consists of lavender eyeshadow and burgundy lipstick.

Occupation: ghost gym leader

Gym: Nakagusuku Hotel – The Haunted Ruins

First pokemon: Gengar

As much as I love Buttercup being a tomboy. I would love to see her grow up more femine but still have a strong, bold and a little bit of spice personality. I think it would be really interesting to see her blossom into a beautiful, mature, and independent woman.

Pokemon AU (Ppgz)

Origin: Kaoru was 6 yrs old when her parents divorced. Mitsuko (kaoru mom) was having an affair with her boss. She got pregnant, unsure who the baby's father was. Mitsuko decided to leave her husband for her boss, for financial gain and took Dai and the unborn child but left Kaoru behind. Tokio Matsubara was devastated at the loss of his family, job, and suffering from depression. Kaoru was neglected, until one night Tokio Matsubara woke the sleeping child from her room and abandoned her at Nakagusuku Hotel. It is said that the hotel is cursed, and that anyone who enters will be cursed or worse. Kaoru still remembers her father's promise to come back. He never did. However, Kaoru was greeted by friendly and mischievous Gastly. Nakagusuku Hotel was inhabited by Ghost Pokemon and lived among them. At age 10, Kaoru started her pokemon adventure with gastly as a starter. Her goal was to become a powerful ghost-type trainer. During her journey she became best friends with Momoko Akatsutsumi (blossom )and Miyako Gōtokuji (bubbles). After collecting her gym badges she did not enter the Pokemon League. instead she went back home and opened her own ghost - type Gym. She turned her home Nakagusuku Hotel into a Gym. Only trainers who are brave enough to enter the haunted hotel and make it to the top would be rewarded to battle the powerful ghost gym leader. Only a dozen have received the Townvil badges. Others have either ran away from fear or never bother.

Bio: Miyako is the only daughter of two highly regarded and famous fashion designers, who travel the worlds constantly due to their work in the industry -- thus, their daughter lives with her grandmother and constantly helps around the house. Generally, kindness and good-nature are what most people associate with her and they're not wrong. In fact, it's that aspect of Miyako what made her protect a child from a mysterious white ray, which gave her unique powers and abilities. Now as a superheroine, part of the Powerpuff Girls Z, and going as Bubbles, she fights for justice and uses her bubbles and compassion to fight back -- if possible, she'll even use peace and logic to stop the conflict.

V001: Rolling Bubbles

Default main verse. Miyako is a normal girl, living a normal life as a popular High School student with a passion for fashion; she also happens to be one of the Powerpuff Girls Z, the one known as Bubbles.

NOTE: While her canon age is of a preteen (so 13) I leave it open to all her years of High School so it can be more interesting to me. So the age range can go up to 18, and her FC for her teen/young adult self is Ann Takamaki from Persona 5.

V002: Not a Fighter but a Mediator

Alternate main verse. What if the white Z ray never got to her? Basically, an alternate timeline in which Miyako never got her powers and is just a regular student, living her daily life and still being one of the popular kids at school. The monsters that terrorize Tokyo freak her out but fortunately, she avoids getting stuck in the middle of the conflict. With this amount of free time available, Miyako is able to be a transfer student whenever she wants to spend time with her parents in the current country they are located in.

V003: Chasing her Dreams

College verse. Even with the countless hours spend fighting bad guys and monsters, Miyako never lost sight of her ambitions and dreams. Not too long after graduating from High School, Miyako enrolled at Bunka Fashion College (in Tokyo) to get a degree in fashion design. On top of that, she works part-time as a babysitter and doesn’t have any plans of moving soon, not wanting to leave her grandmother alone.

NOTE: Age range between 19 - 21

V004: Skilled Hands and Perfect Attires

Fantasy or Medieval verse. Miyako is the daughter of two skilled seamstresses, who learned everything from their mother. The young girl currently lives with her grandmother at the family Seamstress Shop, where she learned everything there is to learn about making clothes from a young age – her parents, once she was old enough to understand, began to travel often and live the life of merchants, selling nice clothes across the land. Miyako herself has proven to be quite talented. Her technique and designs are so eye-catching she often gets requests from royals whenever there’s an upcoming ball.

V005: Dance Dance Revolution

Idol verse. Miyako Gōtokuji stumbled upon the idol life by chance, a suggestion her mother made one day while talking over the phone. Before that episode, the girl never really thought much about idols in general and simply enjoyed listening to the singles. 

But the more she thought about it, the more appealing and fun it seemed in her head. And while the training was way harder than she imagined once she got scouted, it became worth it once she started to perform under her stage name ‘Bubbles’. Miyako got scouted alongside two other girls of her age, Momoko and Kaoru, who themselves got the stage names of Blossom and Buttercup, and got grouped together to perform as the Powerpuff Girls.

V006: The Drum Call

A rock band verse. Miyako Gōtokuji, known as one of the most popular girls at her school, with incredible looks, kind personality and a great taste for fashion, would be the last person to be found as a member of a band – especially a rock band, of all things. On top of that, nobody could imagine her playing the instrument of her choice, the drums. But it’s true, the soft girl always loved playing the drums, and forming a band with her fellow classmates, Momoko on the bass and Kaoru on the guitar, has been the best decision she’s done in years.

NOTE: The age range is of 15 -18.

V007: Bubbly Heroine

A My Hero Academia verse. Miyako’s father is a professional hero, while her mother specializes in making suits for every quirk and hero possible. She’s currently a first-year and as excited as ever to be the best version of herself.

Quirk: Bubble Foam. She’s able to create bubbles out of thin air of any size possible. Of course, the larger the bubble, the drainer it becomes to keep it stable until it pops. Miyako cannot create many big bubbles at the same time, as it tired her out, but she can create multiple tiny bubbles, which can become solid or sticky at her will. Once a bubble explodes, the soap-like mixture usually.

her chara, after the egg hatched, is the stereotypical strict and no-nonsense fashionista, and slightly diva-ish, who is at the top of her game and can intimidate people with just one look. think meryl streep’s character in “the devil wears prada” but in chibi form. her name is Arata
