In the main video games series, Eggman is a mad scientist who plans to conquer the world to build his own empire. While he has gone through several major and minor appearance changes throughout the series, his in-game designs retain several basic characteristics, such as his ovate body, red-black-yellow clothing, bald head, onesie, pince-nez sunglasses, and large mustache. Eggman commonly creates machines and robots, including a wide variety of "Badnik" military robots. Notably in early games, he has also served as a recurring boss, appearing in almost every level piloting a vehicle of his design.
Eggman has appeared in almost every Sonic the Hedgehog video game since his first appearance in the 1991 title Sonic the Hedgehog and is also a prominent character in other media, including comics, novels, and cartoons. He made his live-action cinematic debut in the 2020 film adaptation, portrayed by Jim Carrey. Eggman has been well received by critics and is one of the most popular and recognizable villains in gaming history.

Today, SEGA and Sonic Team issued notice that Kotaro Nakamura will not be voicing his roles in the upcoming third season of Sonic Prime. In a post on Twitter/X, they cite that Mr. Nakamura is under a "temporary rest due to poor health," (quoted from machine translation). Aside from his role voicing Dr. Eggman across many Japanese Sonic series games and media, Nakamura also voiced Mr. Dr. Eggman and Dr. Done-It in the first two seasons of Sonic Prime.
No further details are given on the nature or severity of Mr. Nakamura's condition; however his leave from the role is described as "temporary." In the upcoming Sonic Prime episodes, Mitsuaki Kanuka will be covering the role of Dr. and Mr. Dr. Eggman, and Seiya Yamanaka will be Dr. Done-It.
Nakamura has been the regular voice of Dr. Eggman since 2016 following the passing of Chikao Otsuka.
We at Sonic Stadium also offer our well-wishes to Mr. Nakamura and hopes of a quick recovery.

so, uh, being a sonic fan, i kind of knew most of this already. i am... unsure why you sent it to me?
i am tremendously confused. a blog that is, aside from the "Eggman" title, completely empty — no likes or posts, and only following like, a dozen people, just sends me this same ask four times...?
i am very hesitant to click any of the links in this message, as i'm on mobile currently and can't hover over them to verify what they are.
anyway uh... i'm about to go to bed. this is going to be on my mind all night, i think

King Regis of Lucis commands an elite force of soldiers called the Kingsglaive. Wielding their king’s magic, they fight to protect Lucis. As the overwhelming military might of the empire bears down, King Regis is faced with an impossible ultimatum – to marry his son, Prince Noctis to Princess Lunafreya of Tenebrae, captive of Niflheim, and surrender his lands to Niflheim rule. Although the king concedes, it becomes clear that the empire will stop at nothing to achieve their devious goals, with only the Kingsglaive standing between them and world domination. Wow congratulations on the collection of information 😁, however I would like to add my own on one thing, it's true that Eggman is one of the most recognized video game villains (along with maybe Bowser and Ganon) but it's also the most complex one because on the one hand he goes on to be the worst villain in the games and on the other hand you notice a certain humanity and morality that you can rarely see in the games but often in the anime and then you ask yourself: " who is actually Eggman? " And you don't just have to count the video games or you really don't get out of it anymore but also how the character is treated in his other adaptations, X and IDW especially

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name details Daidoji Faction members, Kiryu and Akame story
Gematsu Source
Publisher SEGA and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have released new information and screenshots for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name introducing Daidoji Faction members Yoshimura, Boss, and Head Priest, as well as detailing more of the story between protagonist Kazuma Kiryu and the previously introduced Akame.
Get the details below.
■ A Glimpse of the Relationship Between Kazuma Kiryu and Akame
Akame is a jack-of-all-trades based in Sotenbori, Osaka—the entertainment capital of the west. What role will she play in the story, and what effect will she have on Kiryu?
Story
During a mission for the Daidoji Faction, Kiryu gets wrapped up in an incident in which he encounters Akame, a mysterious woman deeply acquainted with the underbelly of Sotenbori.
Using the “Akame Network,” an intelligence network made up of the homeless, Akame gathers information and, as a jack-of-all-trades, undertakes risky requests that others avoid.
Kiryu ends up working with Akame and supporting her business.
As Kiryu and Akame become further acquainted while solving problems concerning the underworld such as the poverty business, a drama depicting their relationship will unfold.
■ Members of the Daidoji Faction
Other than Kihei Hanawa, Kiryu’s handler as an agent for the Daidoji Faction, where he is known by the codename “Joryu,” Kiryu will also encounter other members of the Daidoji Faction.
Yoshimura (Daidoji Faction) (portrayed by Mitsuaki Kanuka)
“…Kazuma Kiryu. Time for your punishment.”
A cog in a cold-hearted and unfeeling organization.
A manager in the Daidoji faction who specializes in violence. Yoshimura prioritizes the faction above all else, ruthlessly eliminating those who pose a threat. He openly expresses his contempt for Kiryu, a man who shows no allegiance.
Boss (Daidoji Faction) (portrayed by Hiroshi Naka)
“If he can’t keep his promises, then our deal is meaningless. Don’t you agree?”
The general in the shadows.
A manager in the Daidoji faction who specializes in violence. Yoshimura prioritizes the faction above all else, ruthlessly eliminating those who pose a threat. He openly expresses his contempt for Kiryu, a man who shows no allegiance.
Head Priest (Daidoji Faction) (portrayed by Ikkyu Juku)
“We still have a ways to go in our training, don’t we? Heh.”
The head priest of the Daidoji faction.
A man who serves as the head priest of the Daidoji. Detached from his earthly desires, he enjoys playing Go by himself all day long. He is one of the few people Kiryu confides in.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on November 9. Read more about the game here.
