girl dad Mitch is adorable 😭 how would you think he’d do with twins?

You know those dads that just kind of grab their kids and carry them around? Mitch is that dad. He's got a kid under each arm, and they aren't tucked away all neat, no. He has the kids dangling, giggling and kicking, his arms around their middles as if he was carrying two sacks versus his children.

You know those parents that see everything? Also him. He sees his babies sneaking a cookie or reaching for a snack after Sunny had said no and turns a blind eye, a little amused. He wouldn't let them get hurt, if they try to climb up or get into something they shouldn't he's calling their full government name in that tone that has their spine straightening.

I just see him super into matching with his kids. And when his babies want to wear a flannel or a hat? Or mention being "like dad", it melts him. He has such a hard time saying no, he is for sure the push over parent to a point.

Overall Mitch is the kind of dad that would wake up with his kids in the morning, taking them out to the garden to 'weed' (ie; not wake up mom by being loud inside), sipping coffee as they run around in rain boots and cowboy pj sets, laughing before the morning dew even evaporates. Then he makes pancakes for everyone and Sunny gets to wake up to pancakes and coffee, a blueberry smile baked into the fluffy stack.

I'm really normal about this clearly.

I saw an article this morning that mentioned that fan emotions should be taken into consideration when the Leafs decide whether to re-sign or trade Mitch, which is one of the most hilarious things I've ever heard, because this fan base is the most emotionally unstable group of people I've ever encountered (myself included).

behold my mini beaded portrait of mitch. added the halo last minute to balance out the rounded vibes from the bottom, but i think it suits him. my first try with stitching beads using pebble/flat stitch onto stiff felt but i'm kind of obsessed with the medium... wanna make portraits of everyone now.

alright yall... one thing u need to know about me, i don't follow socialites/influencers, don't follow celeb gossip, don't watch reality shows. i watch hockey, read non-fiction & fanfic, watch comedies, and live my weird lil broke artsy work life. and what I also do is hunt for any glimpse of offszn natemac bc he is the himboest of marble statues which is why I've been all over tbear's met gala

...which has led me to the most bonkers thing I've ever seen for a wedding. but maybe its the norm sry i just didn't know bc as i said i don't follow these kinds of things

who i assume then forward it onto their personal shoppers and tailors. but don't u worry the last few slides were indeed unhelpful visual grids and a list of suggested retailers. just couldn't include it w the post image limit (trade-off bw blurry tiny nate w charlotte, and that list of nonsense shops. nate wins everytime)

but i must ask. ofc i respect the artistry but Why all this trouble when u gots mitchymarns crashing in tarps off, stealing ur mens ties to adorn himself bc he their bbgirl, gettin all the bois to whip it off for his own private public show

just like a few other industries i can think of, these athletes only have a few summer weeks to squeeze in ALL of the weddings. traveling & getting a gift off the registry is time consuming enough, but dress code allegiance. oh boy i would faint away from the stress of shopping for this prom

if auston had been born just a few days earlier would we be talking about the big 5 instead of the big 4 the way we normally do when talking about the 2015 draft (sorry noah hanifin its the big 5 to me personally but as a collective we tend to big 4 it up)

would he have slotted in at 2nd overall, narrowly not going home to the yotes and bumping everyone else down a slot as it originally played out or does it somehow change other things. was mitchy, cosmically, always going to be a leaf or does stromer take his place, and mitchy ends up in carolina. how long does jack last in arizona. how long does auston last in buffalo. do they eat stromer alive in toronto without a soulmate liney/teammate to bounce them into the playoffs their rookie year or do william nylander and dylan strome actually have untapped reserves of chemistry we will never know about. is willy actually mitchy's center since he was drafted as one in 2014. does jt still become a leaf. is clayton keller still the captain of the yotes. does jack make it to vegas, or is it auston who wins that cup. the mcdavid matthews prospect rivalry would be mceichel but on steroids (sorry jack no offense). could we survive canada's east v west mcstrome hour. would any of us make it out of here alive
