Emi was a class clown. Sometimes accused of using her quirk to make her classmates laugh, but she'd just take that as a challenge to see how much she could make the accusers laugh

I know some people say she has a crush on Shouta, but I just think she finds his grumpy personality amusing. He's the only person who doesn't laugh at her jokes, and that in itself is a personal challenge to get him to laugh. She hasn't succeeded so far, but she's confident she'll get there someday

I think, if possible, she'd have contests with Mr Smiley to see who can make the most people laugh

Me, remembering how handsy and invasive Miss Joke was with Aizawa: Are you sure about that?

Yeah, I see what you mean. Miss Joke doesn't seem to have any ill intentions but her actions don't seem to make Aizawa happy at all. (Nothing against the pair for those who like the pairing, btw, just stating a fact.)

Miss Joke would be an interesting Gaston as she could just see Aizawa as playing hard to get and doesn't realize that he's genuinely not interested in her and that her action hurt him till later. Then, when the mob scene happens it can be because she genuinely believes Aizawa is in danger or cursed. Her arc could be that she keeps assuming one thing and refuses to listen to what people are actually saying.
