Chexton Wedding...
I am chuffed about Chexton Wedding ... but this show really made viewers wait til minute 57 in a 60 minute time slot for it. That has me feeling some kinda way too.
Chexton look gorgeous and glowing. 🥳 🥂
Tumblr media
Glad Ethan & April got a HEA exit!  💗 💍
It felt very rushed, though.
Tumblr media
(Also, I hope Mishael Morgan will be on contract when the show returns in January cause Chicago Med could use some more Black doctors since they’ve gotten rid of all the others... two this season).

Kristoff St. John: A Beloved Actor and His Iconic Role
Early Life and Career
Kristoff St. John was born on July 15, 1966, in New York City, into a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry. His father, Christopher St. John, was an actor and director, and his mother, Maria, was an entertainer. This early exposure to the arts set the stage for Kristoff's future career. He began acting at a young age, appearing in the television series "That’s My Mama" in 1975. Throughout the 1980s, Kristoff took on various roles in television and film, gaining recognition for his talent and charisma.
Breakthrough Role: Neil Winters on "The Young and the Restless"
In 1991, Kristoff St. John joined the cast of the CBS daytime soap opera "The Young and the Restless" as Neil Winters. This role would become his most iconic and endearing, making him a beloved figure in daytime television. Neil Winters was introduced as a savvy and ambitious businessman, and Kristoff's portrayal brought depth and authenticity to the character.
Neil Winters: A Complex and Enduring Character
Introduction and Early Storylines: Neil Winters started as an executive at Newman Enterprises, quickly becoming a central figure in the corporate and personal dramas of Genoa City. His professional demeanor and strong moral compass made him a respected character from the outset.
Family and Relationships: Neil’s storyline was rich with complex relationships, particularly his connections with family members. His marriage to Drucilla Barber (Victoria Rowell) was one of the show’s most dynamic and enduring love stories. They faced numerous challenges, including Drucilla’s troubled past and Neil’s struggles with trust and jealousy. Their relationship produced two children: Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James, later revealed to be adopted). Neil’s role as a father brought further depth to his character, showcasing his protective and nurturing side.
Professional Life: Neil’s career at Newman Enterprises and later at Jabot Cosmetics and Chancellor Industries was marked by ambition, integrity, and occasional ethical dilemmas. He climbed the corporate ladder, often facing off against business rivals and dealing with the pressures of executive life. Neil’s professional challenges often mirrored his personal struggles, adding layers of complexity to his character.
Alcoholism and Recovery: One of the most compelling and emotional storylines for Neil Winters was his battle with alcoholism. This plotline showcased Kristoff St. John’s acting prowess, as he portrayed Neil’s descent into addiction and his arduous journey toward recovery. The storyline was handled with sensitivity and realism, bringing attention to the struggles of addiction and the impact on family and professional life.
Romantic Entanglements and Betrayals: Neil’s romantic life was fraught with complications, including relationships with several key characters on the show. His love triangle with Drucilla and Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), his own brother, was particularly dramatic. Neil also had significant relationships with other women, such as Sofia Dupre (Julia Pace Mitchell) and Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan), adding to the character’s romantic turmoil and depth.
Tragedy and Resilience: Neil’s life was marked by significant tragedies, including the presumed death of Drucilla, which left him devastated and struggling to move forward. His strength and resilience in the face of such loss were central to his character development. Neil’s ability to rebuild his life and find purpose after personal devastation was an inspiring aspect of his storyline.
Friendships and Mentorships: Neil’s relationships extended beyond family and romance, as he was also a mentor and friend to many in Genoa City. His close friendship with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) provided opportunities for compelling storylines, as did his mentorship of younger characters like Devon. Neil’s wisdom, kindness, and guidance were invaluable to those around him, further cementing his role as a beloved character.
Kristoff St. John’s Legacy
Kristoff St. John’s portrayal of Neil Winters earned him numerous accolades, including two Daytime Emmy Awards and multiple NAACP Image Awards. His performance resonated with audiences, making Neil Winters a cherished character in the history of daytime television.
Beyond his work on "The Young and the Restless," Kristoff was known for his roles in other television shows and films, including "Generations," "The Bad News Bears," and "The Champ." His talent, charisma, and dedication to his craft were evident in every role he undertook.
Personal Life and Advocacy
Kristoff St. John faced personal struggles, including the tragic loss of his son, Julian, to suicide in 2014. This profound loss deeply affected Kristoff, and he became an advocate for mental health awareness, using his platform to bring attention to the importance of mental health support and resources.
Kristoff’s openness about his own mental health struggles and his advocacy work endeared him to many, highlighting his compassionate and empathetic nature. His efforts to raise awareness and support others were a testament to his character both on and off-screen.
Conclusion
Kristoff St. John’s legacy extends far beyond his role as Neil Winters on "The Young and the Restless." His contributions to the world of daytime television, his advocacy for mental health, and his enduring impact on fans and colleagues alike ensure that he will be remembered with great admiration and respect.

Species: Witch
Connection Age: Benji is 30 (older sibling would be around 32-36)
Suggested Face Claims: (Mason Gooding has one parent of Black (Barbadian) descent, and one parent of White descent Suggestions: Jasmin Savoy Brown, Lucien Laviscount, Samantha Logan, Regé-Jean Page, Zoë Soul, Nick Sagar, Candice Patton, Devin Way, Mishael Morgan, Tiana Okoye, Michael Evans Behling, UTP
Headcanons: The Laverick family is a long line of witches prominent in the Hexmore court with a few supreme's in their lineage. Your muse was the first born, and it’s a well known family secret that the eldest Laverick child was the result of an affair their mother had with someone outside of the family that had been going on for quite some time but ended soon after the announcement of pregnancy. Their mother was left with the choice to leave the Lavericks, or to say and your muse would be considered a Laverick. And she chose the latter, but while your muse is the eldest there had always been hesitation to hand them responsibility and there was always the underlying tone that it’s because they’re not a real Laverick. In saying that, the siblings are a different story, while the youngest two are NPC’s you’re free to write your own idea of family connection with them, Benji would have always been the first to say that his eldest sibling deserved the praise and responsibility. Even if some of the family isn’t always the most welcoming, he never would have seen the eldest sibling as anything other than just that.
