Nicole Nack! Older Sister to Leighton Nack ( @phantom-of-the-ruckus OC)

She did die when Leighton was a Teenager, a Vase hit her and she unfortunately pass away.

She is a ghost lingering around Leighton manor/Nick manor, No one really spotted her instill the kids did (Paddy & Ricky + others) leading to a scooby doo like ghost chase after Nicole.

Although she is rather human looking; she does have ghost ability’s but however are rather limited as she doesn’t mess with them often, she can float and turn invisible, and can turns other invisible as well

Her more unsettling features she hides away as her wounds aren’t very pretty to look at. However near Halloween, and her being agitated they tend to show up in small bursts

Leighton hid many items, pictures and other things such as toys that belong to Nicole away, not wanting to see a item that belong to a beloved dead family member

Nick is ironically Named after Nicole, his name being a more male version of it. Nick ended up realizing why his father try his best not to teach him the views that Leighton father had( when he meets Nicole)

Nicole is rather old fashioned, she was raised in a old time period. She is extremely Out-dated compared to current times causing a riff between her and others. She does get better after a year or two (learning and not being a denial about it)

She doesn’t really mean any harm,but considering the fact that ghosts don’t linger for usually good reasons, it safe to say that it unnerves some of the others.

Her nicknames, was, Otter from Richie( @phantom-of-the-ruckus Ghost OC)”Mink from leighton, weasel from Nick

Her nickname to the other was,Ferret for leighton, (nick later got that nickname), koala for Richie, Penny she jokingly call Miriam when she found out about the Penguin nickname

She originally was seen around Leighton as a ghost looking rather lonely, back then the nack-ruckus family wasn’t sure what to do

Nicole often stood up for Leighton or whatever punishment was going on, it ended up with her gaining some unhealthy coping mechanisms as a result (and in general)

Nicole might be the sole reason why Nick can do art, she loved it while she could do it and many of her sketch books is hidden away.

Wasn’t exactly a golden child, Leighton unfortunately ended up being somewhat of a golden Child from their parents( due to the time period, and Leighton being boring second) She was teach how to be a good wife due to their time period while Leighton as taught how to be a business owner and man of the family.

Oddly stand off-ish polite and distant, she was rather nice and kind (if not snarky) if you knew her well. She lonely seemly

Died the year before richie did, it was assume that it could have been related. She did died the week before Richie Was going to ask her out, The people (Mimi, leighton, Richie) grieve while their parents try to cover it up

Riley Assumes that Leighton and Miriam might be one of the reasons why Nicole is still here along with other reasons(Riley did however wanted to study the eye mutation the Nack (specifically Nick and Nicole had and even Paddy) which was having purple/purple-blue eyes a very extremely impossible thing to happen)

The kids ended up in her room by accident while Leighton was looking for them, and ends up trying so many things, unfortunately Leighton shoo them out and told them not to be in that room

Leighton does have PTSD about Vases and completely refuses to have them in the house at any point. And even refusing water pitchers in the house for how simliar they look

She cut off apart of her hair as a “F-YOU” to her parents about three weeks before she died, having Half bangs.

Leighton did see Nicole die when he was a teenager and it still effects him to this day, an lot of mannerism from Nicole ended up reflecting on nick an lot. Making tension highs and unsettling (and Leighton also had many of Nicole mannerisms because he mainly spent time with her and was raised by her too)

Leighton Ironically before he knew Nicole was a ghost did gave Nick the ferret nickname, that Nicole gave him

Nick and Nicole share the same feeling of “Wtf” at Leighton when he decided to date a puppet Mortimer and they both fear that leighton finally gone insane(unfortunately common)

Nicole, is rather like a dam, she holds it in intill she ready to she snaps at people, often times making leighton go out of the room before she does so. A explosive Temper for sure. But not at the people she loves

Ghosts are rather tricksters and belovent beings, so playing small pranks and such they encourage making family play fight every interesting

Was buried in the garden and one of the few place where no one is allow to go to. A black cat marks where it is quietly

Ironically everyone who can see her thought she was a kid that Leighton adopted (whenever she figured out how to let humans see her more then just the family) however they were usually correct that Nicole was Leighton older sister causing some laughter before they realized the siblings pair was serious.

I’m not sure what else I can add that I have forgotten but if I did, I will make a list and repost it most likely, and this was getting long.

Leighton might sound OOC, then to what @phantom-of-the-ruckus Leighton is like but this leighton had a sister and such and it changed an lot of things..and we kinda share characters as well,

I made some OCs which are the Handemen parents. I headcannon that Mortimer Doesn't have an actual family, so the handeemen are like one to him

Daisy's Mom

Occupation: Former Country music star (Artistic name is "Lil' Sally Doll"), song writter

Spouse : Trevor Danger (Decreased/I did not make a pic crew yet)

Facts:

Has four siblings (Quintruplets)

Retired from music to fully take care of her children (She's happier with living a calm life with her family )

Has tripplet sons (Andy, Barny, and Clidy. They're Daisy's older brothers ) who are a group of country singers

Although the public expected Daisy to follow hee footsteps, Sal is super proud and happy of her daughter just as her sons are.

She's not as good aa a baker as Daisy, but loves to help her daughter bake

Keeps in check the Danger Twins (Daisy's kids) and is a mom figure to Nick (It's like Molly Weasly and Harrry Potter)

She likes to give goodies and cowboy hats to the handemen, even got a custom one for the good boi

She likes to sing in the neighborhood for charity events along with her family

I would love to know more about nicks parents and his relationship. Did the handeemen ever get to meet his mother. Was it emotional due to their past. Especially with how strict they were to Nick

For clarification; Miriam is still alive. Amber and I just happen to have a cursed universe where she passes away. In my main human AU she's still alive.

ok so I'll divide into Leighton and Miriam

For Leighton:

Nick was the only child and son he had. Leighton had great dreams and ambitions for him as he wanted to fulfil a childhood wish he never had regarding his father (Christopher Nack) being proud of him as he successfully took over the Business. So he decided to force Nick from a young age to start taking interest in the Nack business from a pretty young age. He basically private him a lot from having a normal childhood, leading Nick to discover in his teenager years his love for art as he could express himself

(Note: This is NOT a parallel to Nick and Riley. I don't think the handeemen are related)Amber and I tend to share our characters for our universes lol, so I'm borrowing her Nicole Nack (She doesn't mind it, we share our OCs a lot) So, Leighton had an older sister who died in around 16 of age. Her name was Nicole Nack (Originally was going to be named Nicholas before her parents realized it was a girl.) Although Leighton's father wanted his first child to be a boy, he loved and cared so much for Nicole as he wished that she would carry the generation of future Nacks. Leighton was born a few years after, and his father wasn't exactly as loving as he usually compared him to his golden child of an older sister. He grew to resent both, even after Nicole's mysterious murder by possibly a stalker. Leighton's father pushed the death of Nicole to him and after his father died and he inherited the manor he got rid of all the stuff that reminded him of Nicole.

Leighton was the most impulsive and sometimes cruel in comparison to Miriam. He didn't physically abuse Nick but he had a tendency of being quite harsh and breaking up his spirits claiming that he was not going to be good enough when he grow up. Miriam did try to object to some extent (Mostly in Nick's younger years, she sorta sided with Leighton during Nick's older years as he wanted to be an artist.) According to Leighton, Nick was too weak and soft-hearted to take over the company.

Leighton was in fact heartbroken when Nick ran away from home, but took this as a sign of ungratefulness upon everything that he did for his son and he nearly disowned him as he "wanted to see how long Nick would last with his "artistic" career" before Miriam asked him if he really wanted to cut off forever the only child that they had. Leighton realized it would pain him more to cut the last thread that tied them together as Nick was and still his his greatest pride.

Nick doesn't really hate Leighton or Miriam, but he resents him a lot. Nick never really got to experience the fun kid stuff that the others did as Leighton pushed him a lot with his lessons and such. After Nick ran away, he pretty much cut off the relationship with his parents. This actually prompted Leighton to take a time to reflect about this and he started to realized he basically brought down the trauma to Nick. They do meet in the future, but this would go to the other part of the "Reunion"

For Miriam Nack:

Miriam was a bit softer if we compare to Leighton. I do think Miriam was the one who tended to show she indeed loved her son unlike Leighton who didn't really knew how to show it and was stuck in his resentment. She obviously did not object to Nick studying hard and such (something Nick never enjoyed), but in some occasions she allowed him to play outside and have fun, or whenever Leighton unjustly punished Nick for something she would undo the punishment, or ask a servant to bring Nick dinner when Leighton told him no dinner that night.

Miriam grew up with a mentality that you have to fight for your own success as she basically had to do all by herself (as she did not wish to be known as Mrs. Nack alone). She is a far intelligent woman and has a stern mind and view about what would bring someone a good career in life or not. This is why she greatly scoffed and disapproved of Nick wanting to become an artist. She saw it as a waste of time and a distraction as she saw that Nick was wasting away the opportunity to be successful.

Miriam and Leighton do have a loving and healthy relationship with each other although the picrews make them look like they hate each other lol. Miriam is basically the anchor to Leighton's impulsivity and temper. She's far calmer than Nick and Leighton (who are quite alike), and she fought with Leighton about the right way to raise Nick and telling him that Nick was not just his company heir but his son.

Miriam was Nicole's childhood best friend. At the time, Miriam was studying with Nicole at the same Academy she and her brother attended (She's around the same age as Leighton, just a few months younger) Nicole and Leighton used to call her "Mimi" and invited her to study at the manor, which also helped blossom a small romance within Leighton and Miriam (who had a big crush on Leighton.) After Nicole's death, Miriam was there for Leighton as their relationship started to become official. He never called her "Mimi" ever again upon her wishes as Nicole was the one who came up with that nickname.

Miriam basically broke in tears and refused to leave Nick's empty room for days after he ran away from home. She did try to desperately call him or reach the police but nothing helped. She felt a great emptiness in her heart and that made her consider and think why would Nick leave her? So she decided to help him as much as she could through funding him and sending him checks along with some small letters explaining that it was the least she could do.

Nick doesn't really resent his mother as much, but he doesn't have an interest to reconnect with her or better up the relationship as his parents took this as a sinking ship.

Maybe in a future these three can recognize their mistakes and start over and write a new chapter ending the generational trauma and such.

The "reunion" with Nick

Nick never talked as much about his past with the other Handeemen. He just mentioned that they were quite strict and that he didn't have a good childhood with them

Nick did not mention that her mother still funded him, but implied to the others that they haven't disowned him yet.

During Nick finally opening his gallery for the first time, his parents took a surprise visit. (Nick did invite them but he thought they would never come) Riley immediately recognized them as Nick's parents based on a mentioned ring they had. Nick basically had to introduce them to his colleagues

Mortimer was quite respectful towards them but did notice that there was some discomfort within Nick that let him know they haven't talked for years.

Daisy was as nice as possible but she did not like them at all. She mentioned that after they left.

Riley was quite transparent and was nice in her own though way. Not hiding that she did not like them, but did appreciate that they bothered to come.

I'll say they found Miriam to be much nicer than Leighton, still Manfred and Mortimer kept Dora and Salome from trying to beat them up.

Nick actually did get a private moment to talk with them after the Gallery premier finished. It wasn't exactly emotional but it was awkward and there were some hints that they missed each other mutually. To make it short Leighton and Miriam admit that they were impressed by the Gallery and how it went down smoothly. They do hint that they sorta expected it to be a failure but congratulate Nick nonetheless in his work with a "Well done, Son" before heading home.

Dorothea Ruckus

She's probably by far one of my favorite Hello Puppet's OC designs. She's not a red head, her hair is actually brown but it looks reddish XD

Also, she is not related to Miriam or the Nack family at all, neither is her family, or her husband and his family FYI

Dr. Dorothea Eliza Ruckus

She's born in the United States, but her family is from German-Jewish descent (They ran after the major wars hit hard)

She is fluent in English, German, Hebrew, and knows a bit of Spanish.

She's a Psychologist and has a PhD. Hence why I refer to her as Doctor. She also goes as Dr. Ruckus, Dr. Dora, and Dr. D Ruckus (A nickname by an inter she was mentoring.)

She is an ambivert and well outspoken. She will not hesitate to tell you her Freddy (Manfred's Nickname) asked for no pickles or mayo!

Although she's an atheist, she still holds dearly to her Jewish Heritage and Celebrates Hanukkah with Manfred (Her husband and Riles' dad) and Riley.

She tends to be nosy and curious about finding where people's intentions lie or what motivates them. So she will often turn things into a therapy session unless Manfred stops her, which is usual

She is a cat person and has learned to find other dogs outside the Good Boi tolerable enough.

She was very hesitant about Rosco before he licked and nuzzled her, and she immediately called Rosco "A new member of the family". Now Manfred teases her about insisting on making sure he gets treats and presents during Hanukkah or other holidays as well.

She refuses to be called Rosco's Grandmother. Nana is more of an acceptable tittle.

She is a workaholic, and often had to work. There were times that she snarled at her boss to let her take baby Riley on the job

She's a confident person and likes Nick as a good chap

After Riley adopted Rosco from Manfred's great aunt and uncle, now she wonders if her husband was a Golden retriever as well as he has the energy and friendliness of one.

Riley has a good relationship with her, although they have a similar temper

She has a lot of emotional intelligence and can read and interpret body language due to her job

Miriam Nack

Since my friend @ericaportfolio is doing her version of Nick's dad, I decided to start the first Handeemen Parent with Nick's mom (since..I may or may not have used a wheel of names-) I'm also keeping them not too shaded due to time wise and me not loosing my sanity (i'll give themsome upgrades when I finished the whole set)

Originally I was going to put her hair on a bun, but I actually love how her hair looks this way.

Now to some details!!!

Miriam Elizabeth Nack:

She is from Toulouse, France and moved to where the Handeemen world is due to her family business. (Suit was colored referencing both Nick and the flag)

She is fluent in French, English, Italian, and Spanish

She has a major in Accounting, and helps with the Nack's boat business in that aspect as the finances CFO

She met Leighton when she was 10 due to both studying at the same prestigious school he attended

Her best friend was Nicole Nack (@dolly-royal OC), and she used to call her "Mimi"

Although it was rumored numerous times she and Leighton (owner of his family business) got married due to business reasons, they actually married due to love reasons and are very much devoted to the other.

Although Miriam often scowls and tends to show little emotion, Nick got a lot from her personality, charisma, and well his caring and emotional side (but Nick got his emotional instability and self stem issues from his dad)

Miriam tends to show her emotions off business and more around Leighton. I wouldn't say that she didn't show any love and emotion to Nick. as I do think she was the more loving and "softer" (she was strict) parent comparing to Leighton. So, Nick doesn't have too many bad memories of her, and would say, if asked, that Miriam was a better parent than Leighton

Although Miriam is in the upper class, she worked and studied hard to get where she is now, and Leighton respects the hell out that from her. He reminds the press and these employees to never refer to Miriam as simply his wife.

Miriam disapproved Nicks choices and aspirations to be an artist due to thinking he was wasting his talents and opportunities on a hobby, unlike Leighton feeling betrayed that Nick refused to take over his company. I do think Miriam came to understand Nick chose his happiness, and a tough realization that he was no businessman.

I do think if Nick and Leighton lowered down their egos, Nick would reconnect with his mother and Miriam would make the effort to understand Nick's passion

Miriam is still heartbroken about the fact that Nick left home and barely talks to his parents (mostly due to Leighton, as he is more impulsive) and she's the one that funds Nick in his projects and does send small amounts of money for his birthday and Christmas.

Although she dresses in some designer clothes, Miriam loves to appear elegant but isn't someone who particularly cares about brands of Clothing. The designer clothes are gifts from Leighton

Although Miriam was strict in Nick's education, she did not hesitate to stop or intervene when Leighton went overboard and tended to undo his worst punishments .

She has amazing abilities at the piano, but is a skill that she doesn't like to particularly talk about. Nick learned piano from her as it was the first time Nick actually wanted to learn something out of interest. She taught him everything she knew.

Out of reasons she does not like to discuss, Miriam dislikes Leighton's parents (Kristopher and Opal Nack) and often refuses to accept their gifts (specially from Kris himself). It is rumored that something bad happened within Kris and Miriam, but she refuses to talk about it. If you were wondering, Kristopher and Miriam aren't like the best grandparents as they did scar Leighton emotionally, but were more loving to Nick.

If Nick was ever genderbent, he would look a lot like Miriam

Leighton Nack

I am finally done with Mr. Nack!!!! I'll draw our favorite Nicholas Nack as ref to their heights XD Sorry for the delay, this project was a bit overwhelming for me XD (I got like other 6 more characters to draw TT)

Leighton Joel Nack:

Born and raised int eh United States. He was raised around the coast, so he often grew up around ships

Fluent in English, French, Italian, and Spanish

CEO and Owner of the Nack's Shipment & Co company. Strangely enough, he is a fair CEO and actually does his taxes (Miriam's helps him)

Met Miriam around 10-11 as both studied at the same private institute.

He claims to be an only child, but had a late older Sister named Nicole (@dolly-royal 's OC)

He was very awkward when it came into dating Miriam, now he has more confidence and constantly showers her with love and presents.

Daddy issues run down into the family

Had a terrible relationship with his parents and despises his Father a lot

Is quite stern and impulsive. He has a lot of self-esteem issues and Trauma but refuses to talk about them.

He had the worst relationship with Nick, and pretty much gave Nicholas a lot of generational trauma.

Rarely shows his emotions outside Miriam reminded him that it is unhealthy to store them up.

Is destroyed and devastated when Nick ran away but won't admit. He nearly disowned Nick but it was in a fit of rage, he later sat in his study reflecting into how he was close to fully destroy his only link with his son.

This may come as surprising, but Leighton in a way is proud and annoyed at Nick's art career. He still desires and has hopes that Nick could take over the business, but at least he is glad Nick has found a way to maintain himself

Still, he disapproves Nick's art career and still sees it as a bit of a waste of time, but is relief to see his kid is alright.

Although it may looked like he hated his son, Leighton considers Nick as one of the things he loves the most. The downside is that he has this selfish self-projecting dream into seeing Nick achieve what he never did (On the next point).

After Nicole's death, Kristopher Nack treated Leighton harshly and never showed the slight sign of approval even after Leighton took over the company (by his own merits and as for revenge for his beloved Mimi), and was always considered as the unwanted kid by his father.

Leighton is a family man, and he adores his wife with his life. He will defend her to death and will kick ass if anyone disrespects her (depends on the level of disrespect)

Wow it appears Nick Nack is the most interesting character. Two annons asking about him!

Okie dokie, here's more info about the artist and anti-hero

As a young boy, Nick had always been drawn to the antiheroes of the comics and stories. He related so much to their stories and characters, but he often told himself he'll be the hero not the anti-hero.

His aunt Nicole (@dolly-royal oc) help him finance his art school as Leighton and Miriam refused. He had some hard times making relationships and friendships during at time as his father never really allow him to socialize with the other kids. His aunt comforted him by calling him her little hero

Riley is the closest thing he has of a companion as Daisy is more of a mom to him. She still is but it's more like a human companion, as Trix has become his best friend.

He was so fascinated with the new heroes and this some fannart of them. Lord Bug and Kitty Noir were overwhelmed by the attention of the people + Nick was Nick, so that turned sour, but he still looked up to them.

After his aunt ran away with some lover from the middle class, she left Nick some of the stuff she inherited from her late mother Opal. There was a table that he wanted to get rid of but noticed someone tried to break into his home constantly. He decided to check it out and found the Fox miraculous in a secret compartment. He tried to tell the heroes but he was not taking seriously. He decided to keep it to himself as he was afraid it would fall into the wrong hands

Trix is a bit more of a trickster. He convinced Nick to at least try the miraculous instead of throwing in a safe until he found a safe place to leave it there. Nick was reclusive but try it, then he found he felt so alive.

He came out with his name very quickly because puns

He realized he was an antihero as his actions delivered from his selfishness and he sorta did something good against his father but it was purely out of spite. He then realized with powers he was like the antiheroes he read about, and he has come to accept it.

Still in progress, but he met the phantasm at a party he was in as she and Shadow were escaping some criminals. He didn't know who Riley was in her suit as phantasmagoria is technically the phantasm of the public (in rise of the phantasm is better explained, but I don't want to ruin the surprise) so he assumes she has just some sort of villain and runs after her as Mr. Foxglove. He does get to momentarily tackle her using her distraction to his advantage. He's did try to figure out where her miraculous was until he notice a peculiar shaped he has seen with sentimonsters on a ring she was wearing, and how she looked vaguely familiar. Shadow got super protective of Phantasm (not a ship) defeated Nick while escaping with Phantasm. Nick became fascinated by the lady and started to figure out who was she.

After learning a bit about the phantasm and her charade, Nick finds her on a peculiar building relating to her backstory. She did try to stab him until he told her he wanted to help her out as he was curious about her. She pretty much threatened to make his life miserable if he ever betrays her and leaves. You did forget that the reunion within the siblings didn't go as nicely because they fought at Wendy's at 3 am (Ricky recorded everything. Melody was all like "Bro WTF" XD) I have no idea why they were fighting at a Wendy's at a 3 am

Outside the jokes, Nicole and Miriam were best friends. I did mention before, but Nicole originally came up with the nickname "Mimi" for Miriam. Miriam called her "Ninie" so their nicknames could rhyme. In regard to her "Penny" nickname, Miriam did tease Nicole with "Mickey" when Leighton told her about his personal nickname for his sister.

It was just to retaliate for the teasing. They had a great laugh.

Regarding their relationship. They were inseparable, and amazing friends. They often studied together, and enjoyed going into the salon (Although it was Mimi meeting up an appointment as Ninie didn't felt lonely when her parents forced her to come to the hairdresser) and sneaked out to have fun.

Mimi teased her bestie about Richard, who she obviously had a crush on but was denying it. Nini never stopped teasing her about both Leighton and Miriam's mutual pinning.

After Nicole passed away. Miriam refused to let anyone called her Mimi ever again (not even Leighton) until she found about Nicole's ghost, who when she recognized her immediately called asked if she was "Mimi." Miriam felt a bit strange into using Mimi again (as it's been years since someone used it), but she does feel nostalgic.

Irrelevant small trivia of Leighton:

Penguin is a pet name Leighton gave to Miriam after realizing she sounded like Penguin when flustered (Noot! Noot!) She did pet named him Polar bear before realizing that polar bears lived in the opposite pole as penguins and then this happened

Leighton: Well, I am willing to travel across the poles to see you~

And that it was went Nick realized that he got his cheesy liners from his dad/hj

Nicole Nack! Older Sister to Leighton Nack ( @phantom-of-the-ruckus OC)

She did die when Leighton was a Teenager, a Vase hit her and she unfortunately pass away.

She is a ghost lingering around Leighton manor/Nick manor, No one really spotted her instill the kids did (Paddy & Ricky + others) leading to a scooby doo like ghost chase after Nicole.

Although she is rather human looking; she does have ghost ability’s but however are rather limited as she doesn’t mess with them often, she can float and turn invisible, and can turns other invisible as well

Her more unsettling features she hides away as her wounds aren’t very pretty to look at. However near Halloween, and her being agitated they tend to show up in small bursts

Leighton hid many items, pictures and other things such as toys that belong to Nicole away, not wanting to see a item that belong to a beloved dead family member

Nick is ironically Named after Nicole, his name being a more male version of it. Nick ended up realizing why his father try his best not to teach him the views that Leighton father had( when he meets Nicole)

Nicole is rather old fashioned, she was raised in a old time period. She is extremely Out-dated compared to current times causing a riff between her and others. She does get better after a year or two (learning and not being a denial about it)

She doesn’t really mean any harm,but considering the fact that ghosts don’t linger for usually good reasons, it safe to say that it unnerves some of the others.

Her nicknames, was, Otter from Richie( @phantom-of-the-ruckus Ghost OC)”Mink from leighton, weasel from Nick

Her nickname to the other was,Ferret for leighton, (nick later got that nickname), koala for Richie, Penny she jokingly call Miriam when she found out about the Penguin nickname

She originally was seen around Leighton as a ghost looking rather lonely, back then the nack-ruckus family wasn’t sure what to do

Nicole often stood up for Leighton or whatever punishment was going on, it ended up with her gaining some unhealthy coping mechanisms as a result (and in general)

Nicole might be the sole reason why Nick can do art, she loved it while she could do it and many of her sketch books is hidden away.

Wasn’t exactly a golden child, Leighton unfortunately ended up being somewhat of a golden Child from their parents( due to the time period, and Leighton being boring second) She was teach how to be a good wife due to their time period while Leighton as taught how to be a business owner and man of the family.

Oddly stand off-ish polite and distant, she was rather nice and kind (if not snarky) if you knew her well. She lonely seemly

Died the year before richie did, it was assume that it could have been related. She did died the week before Richie Was going to ask her out, The people (Mimi, leighton, Richie) grieve while their parents try to cover it up

Riley Assumes that Leighton and Miriam might be one of the reasons why Nicole is still here along with other reasons(Riley did however wanted to study the eye mutation the Nack (specifically Nick and Nicole had and even Paddy) which was having purple/purple-blue eyes a very extremely impossible thing to happen)

The kids ended up in her room by accident while Leighton was looking for them, and ends up trying so many things, unfortunately Leighton shoo them out and told them not to be in that room

Leighton does have PTSD about Vases and completely refuses to have them in the house at any point. And even refusing water pitchers in the house for how simliar they look

She cut off apart of her hair as a “F-YOU” to her parents about three weeks before she died, having Half bangs.

Leighton did see Nicole die when he was a teenager and it still effects him to this day, an lot of mannerism from Nicole ended up reflecting on nick an lot. Making tension highs and unsettling (and Leighton also had many of Nicole mannerisms because he mainly spent time with her and was raised by her too)

Leighton Ironically before he knew Nicole was a ghost did gave Nick the ferret nickname, that Nicole gave him

Nick and Nicole share the same feeling of “Wtf” at Leighton when he decided to date a puppet Mortimer and they both fear that leighton finally gone insane(unfortunately common)

Nicole, is rather like a dam, she holds it in intill she ready to she snaps at people, often times making leighton go out of the room before she does so. A explosive Temper for sure. But not at the people she loves

Ghosts are rather tricksters and belovent beings, so playing small pranks and such they encourage making family play fight every interesting

Was buried in the garden and one of the few place where no one is allow to go to. A black cat marks where it is quietly

Ironically everyone who can see her thought she was a kid that Leighton adopted (whenever she figured out how to let humans see her more then just the family) however they were usually correct that Nicole was Leighton older sister causing some laughter before they realized the siblings pair was serious.

I’m not sure what else I can add that I have forgotten but if I did, I will make a list and repost it most likely, and this was getting long.

Leighton might sound OOC, then to what @phantom-of-the-ruckus Leighton is like but this leighton had a sister and such and it changed an lot of things..and we kinda share characters as well,

Awww thank you!!! I had so much fun creating her finalized design, and I do think if Nick was ever gender bent he would look a lot like Miriam. Also, it was fun finding a way to put a boat in her design since the Nacks take a pride in their company (Except Nick)

Hahaha I think you probably did XD I am wondering who else would join on this. I do know my friend Delly has some interesting concepts about the Handeemen family in their one-shots on AO3, so there is a chance that we might get to see so many other family OC lol

Also, your Mrs. Nack sound really amazing and interesting. Was Nick closer to your Mrs. Nack OC? I can see Nick running into her arms as she comforts him after Mr. Nack scolded him badly. I cannot wait to hear about her and her story!!!

And yes! Miriam tries to support Nick in the best way she can. She may not like the idea that her son is painting and writing theater, but if that something that makes him happy, she will support him in the best way she can as she wasn't exactly onboard with her husband (Leighton) wanting to push Nick into taking over the ship company but still hoped Nick would follow a business career.

Also fun fact, she tries her best to go to his art gallery premiers as another way of support and trying to understand Nick. Leighton is still too prideful to go, but he doesn't object to Miriam going since she's the most reasonable of the two

Miriam Nack

Since my friend @ericaportfolio is doing her version of Nick's dad, I decided to start the first Handeemen Parent with Nick's mom (since..I may or may not have used a wheel of names-) I'm also keeping them not too shaded due to time wise and me not loosing my sanity (i'll give themsome upgrades when I finished the whole set)

Originally I was going to put her hair on a bun, but I actually love how her hair looks this way.

Now to some details!!!

Miriam Elizabeth Nack:

She is from Toulouse, France and moved to where the Handeemen world is due to her family business. (Suit was colored referencing both Nick and the flag)

She is fluent in French, English, Italian, and Spanish

She has a major in Accounting, and helps with the Nack's boat business in that aspect as the finances CFO

She met Leighton when she was 10 due to both studying at the same prestigious school he attended

Her best friend was Nicole Nack (@dolly-royal OC), and she used to call her "Mimi"

Although it was rumored numerous times she and Leighton (owner of his family business) got married due to business reasons, they actually married due to love reasons and are very much devoted to the other.

Although Miriam often scowls and tends to show little emotion, Nick got a lot from her personality, charisma, and well his caring and emotional side (but Nick got his emotional instability and self stem issues from his dad)

Miriam tends to show her emotions off business and more around Leighton. I wouldn't say that she didn't show any love and emotion to Nick. as I do think she was the more loving and "softer" (she was strict) parent comparing to Leighton. So, Nick doesn't have too many bad memories of her, and would say, if asked, that Miriam was a better parent than Leighton

Although Miriam is in the upper class, she worked and studied hard to get where she is now, and Leighton respects the hell out that from her. He reminds the press and these employees to never refer to Miriam as simply his wife.

Miriam disapproved Nicks choices and aspirations to be an artist due to thinking he was wasting his talents and opportunities on a hobby, unlike Leighton feeling betrayed that Nick refused to take over his company. I do think Miriam came to understand Nick chose his happiness, and a tough realization that he was no businessman.

I do think if Nick and Leighton lowered down their egos, Nick would reconnect with his mother and Miriam would make the effort to understand Nick's passion

Miriam is still heartbroken about the fact that Nick left home and barely talks to his parents (mostly due to Leighton, as he is more impulsive) and she's the one that funds Nick in his projects and does send small amounts of money for his birthday and Christmas.

Although she dresses in some designer clothes, Miriam loves to appear elegant but isn't someone who particularly cares about brands of Clothing. The designer clothes are gifts from Leighton

Although Miriam was strict in Nick's education, she did not hesitate to stop or intervene when Leighton went overboard and tended to undo his worst punishments .

She has amazing abilities at the piano, but is a skill that she doesn't like to particularly talk about. Nick learned piano from her as it was the first time Nick actually wanted to learn something out of interest. She taught him everything she knew.

Out of reasons she does not like to discuss, Miriam dislikes Leighton's parents (Kristopher and Opal Nack) and often refuses to accept their gifts (specially from Kris himself). It is rumored that something bad happened within Kris and Miriam, but she refuses to talk about it. If you were wondering, Kristopher and Miriam aren't like the best grandparents as they did scar Leighton emotionally, but were more loving to Nick.

If Nick was ever genderbent, he would look a lot like Miriam
