Ashes of Rage: Act 1 - Prologue

Summary: [Inspired by Wish Me Away] Chat Noir betrayed her. It wasn’t something Marinette ever expected, they were partners, friends, so this betrayal hurt more than she could have ever put in words. Finding out he was Adrien only added to that pain, to that betrayal. Watching him give Hawkmoth, his father, her earrings was like something out of a nightmare. Gabriel now had the power to make The Wish and Marinette wanted to hold out hope he could be reasoned with or that her team would realize something was wrong but there was no hope in her heart. Not anymore. All there was, was rage.

Notes: I hope you all enjoy this story! This chapter itself does contain graphic description of the transformation into a Red Lantern. If you would rather skip that stop reading at the line "The ring slid on her finger perfectly.." and resume reading at "The pain was gone and in it's place..." Besides that description there are minor acts of violence in this chapter.

Prologue:

They say that in times of near death experiences or even death itself, a person’s life flashes before their eyes. Marinette had never dwelled on that before, she didn’t like to think about it, that your life could truly play out in front of you in a flash and then boom...you were gone. Yet here she was, her life playing out like some sad teen movie as the light engulfed her. Why? Why did this happen? She knew how it happened, but she still couldn’t wrap her head around the why? Why did Chat betray her like this? They had a plan, they knew Hawkmoth was Gabriel Agreste and that his assistant Nathalie was Mayura. It was going to be an ambush. Chat’s kwami Plagg had found his lair and had told them how to get there. It was perfect. Next akuma they would have Viperion (Luka), Donryu (Kagami), Fox-Tail (Nathaniel), Noc-Turtle (Marc) and Bee-Witch (Chloe) distract the akuma while Chat and her went to the Agreste Mansion to break into the lair then ambush Hawkmoth aka Gabriel. Ideally they were hoping to catch Nathalie off guard and deal with her before they entered the lair but when they had arrived she wasn’t at her desk in front of Gabriel’s office which meant she was most likely in the lair with him, but they knew it was a possibility so they proceeded down as planned. Then...then her own hell manifested. She hadn’t realized it, not at first, she had been battling Mayura, she had managed to pin her and had turned to see how Chat was faring against Hawkmoth and was shocked to see they weren’t even fighting, they were staring at her.

Before she could ask what Chat was doing, or rather what he was not doing he darted toward her and she thought with relief, he was going to help her. Why was that not what happened? Chat grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her away from Mayura, Marinette tried to struggle against him and she would have won if Mayura hadn’t started to help restrain her. It was a blur, but she knew she got some hits in, she did everything she could, she kicked, she threw punches wildly, she bit, she threw her head in every direction hoping it would strike and smiling viciously when it did. They took her yoyo as she felt herself forced onto a chair, it creaked from the pressure, she still tried to fight. They tied her to the chair using everything at their disposal it seemed, rope, cables, duct tape, she still tried to fight. Hawkmoth was yelling, Chat was trying to soothe her, looking at her like he didn’t just fight her and restrain her onto a chair, she reared her head back and headbutted him, she was still fighting.

“What the fuck My Lady!? Here I am trying to help you and you go and break my nose! Me-ouch!” Chat spit out from behind his hand a bit of blood followed the words.

“Help me?” Marinette screeched indignantly. “How is fighting me and helping the enemy tie me to a chair helping me!?”

“I’m helping all of us! Why don’t you see that?”

“We don’t have time to waste. The earrings.” Hawkmoth commanded and Marinette had this sick feeling in her gut as she looked from the villain she had been fighting since she was 13, back to her partner, was he even my partner to begin with? , and saw how he nodded and smiled before looking back at her with his wide, wild toxic green eyes. She leaned back as much as she could scowling and baring her teeth, she would do whatever she had to if it meant keeping the earrings safe, when Chat reached towards her she turned her face as quickly bit his hand. The answering yowl made her want to smirk in vindication, even as he shook his hand she still held on with her teeth till she felt someone yank on her hair, hard . She didn’t immediately let go even if the pain was great, her teeth scraped the leather of Chat’s suit the whole time she was pulled away but she didn’t care. What she did care about was the fact that the hand in her hair didn’t let go, she briefly glanced back to see the unmistakable blue of Mayura. Before she could even think to try and struggle still she felt another hand grab her jaw to keep her in place, seeing as Chat had both hands visible she had to assume Mayura was holding her with both her hands since she could also see Hawkmoth standing in the back. Not being able to do much other than growl, she opted to growl out her frustration.

“Growling isn’t very lady like Ladybug.” Chat of course put emphasis on the ‘lady’ in ladylike as he went for her earring on her left ear first. Marinette did her best to keep her tears at bay. She would not cry in front of them, she would not allow them that satisfaction.

It was like a rip when he removed the first earring. It made her gasp, it wasn’t exactly pain, not at first, it was more this overwhelming sense of discomfort, like having a popcorn kernel stuck between every single tooth and gum. Why does it feel like this? It’s never felt like this before? Then the pain hit and Marinette had to grind her teeth in order to not make a sound, she wouldn’t give them that pleasure, but God , it hurt so much. She could feel parts of her transformation bubbling, almost sizzling and falling off. It was bizarre, never had a transformation falling felt like this, but then again, never had she had her earrings forcibly removed. There was barely any time to brace herself when she felt Chat go for the other earrings and this time, this time she couldn’t hold back the scream that clawed its way out. The pain was too much, it was so different that the first one, this time it was a burning sensation coupled with her muscles feeling like every single one of them had been pulled. She could distantly hear voices, but ultimately they were muffled by her screaming.

“Stop being dramatic Bugaboo.” She could hear Chat laughing, when she opened her eyes it was to see him looking down at the earrings in his hand. There was a soft gasp coming from somewhat behind her so she willed herself with the small amount of strength she had to look back and saw Nathalie Sancoeur staring back at her with big eyes. It almost made her snort, the older woman may have been surprised to see that Ladybug was none other than her, plain Marinette, but Marinette had guessed Nathalie was Mayura. Who, by the way, did not look so great. Her transformation had been dropped and she was pale, there were bags under her eyes and her breathing was labored. Even though she had just helped to take her earrings, Marinette still felt pity for the woman, she knew she was going to die if she continued to use the peacock, but seeing as Hawkmoth, no Gabriel seemed to have won, maybe there was hope for her to get better. Marinette knew better though. She had read the Grimoire pages about damaged Miraculi, she knew the damage they dealt stayed unless the broken Miraculous was fixed and the kwami of the Miraculous was feeling merciful.

“Marinette? It’s...Oh my God...You’re you!” Her head snapped back to Chat fast enough she felt a slight strain. The look in his eyes made her want to puke, he looked in awe and almost in love. There was no way she would say it was actual love, more like obsession that he in his deluded mind convinced himself was love.

“We don’t have time for this. The earrings and the ring, now.” Gabriel growled, his transformation was also dropped, Marinette saw Nooroo for the first time and wished she could comfort the kwami. He looked so drained.

“Chat. I’m begging you. Don’t give him my earrings or your ring! You don’t understand what will happen!” Marinette was desperate as she pleaded.

“Plagg, claws in.” There was a loud gasp, it took a second for her to realize it was her who had made the sound. Standing where Chat had been was her ex-crush, ex-friend, Adrien Agreste and gone was the lovesick look he had been giving her as he walked over to his father. His father! “No. You don’t understand, Marinette! This! All of this is for my mother. Don’t you...Don’t you want me to have my mother back?”

“Listen to me Chat-Adrien...even you Gabriel. You don’t want to make this wish! It might bring your wife back, yes. But every wish comes at a price!”

“I think you’re lying to save your own skin Mlle Dupain-Cheng.” Gabriel replied as he took the earrings and ring from Adrien and put them on himself carefully.

“What would I gain from lying? Nothing! If you make this wish there is going to be a price you aren’t going to be able to handle!”

“Adrien. Quiet her. Now.” Gabriel gritted out. Marinette could tell he was experiencing the clash of power between good and bad luck. Creation and Destruction. He wasn’t even transformed yet and Marinette could tell the power was overwhelming him. When she had read the Grimoire about the “Balanced Yet Always Fighting” Power, or that was the closest translation anyways, Marinette liked to call it the Ambivalence Power, the book spoke how many could not handle the Power and themselves would decay on the spot. It was considered an instant action of the Power, instant Karma, to bring the two Miraculi together was considered an evil act, so to counterbalance it, the Power would take the life of the user if they could not bear it and make a wish quickly.

“Yes Father!” Adrien hastily agreed and all Marinette could do was glare at him, and when he approached with a piece of duct tape she did her best to lean away even if her energy was all but gone. He was anything but gentle as he slapped the duct tape over her mouth.

“Now I can begin. It’s finally happening Adrien, we’re going to get her back.” Gabriel gave his son a smile and Marinette pitied the joy on Adrien’s face, knowing that was probably the first real smile his father had given him since his mother had gone missing. “Tell me your names Kwamis.”

“T-Tikki…” Tikki grit out, the look in her eyes promised harm.

“Plagg.” The black cat Kwami spat out with disgust as he hovered as close to Tikki as he could.

No.

No this couldn’t be happening. Not after everything she and her team had gone through, not after everything Paris had gone through. She couldn’t lose to her former partner, to betrayal. A betrayal she should have seen coming, it felt so obvious the more she thought about it and the more she thought about it the more the dread turned into a blinding white-hot rage that was consuming her alive. Adrien as a friend had ultimately been lackluster but she had wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, since he was a sheltered kid and all, granted he was rich, but being rich did nothing for neglect and sheltering. It hid it a little better but it was like a layer of wallpaper slowly stripping away. But there was only so much you could ignore and excuse. Then there was Chat Noir. Where to start with Chat Noir? She had wanted to make excuses for him for so long but the longer they remained partners, the more annoyed and uncomfortable she got.

And yet, even to the end, she made excuses for him. She told herself he was just going through some things, that’s why he had been acting weird about the plan. Why he had looked so hesitant to bring the tormentor of Paris down, she thought it was just because they thought they had eliminated him as a suspect before. Obviously she had been wrong but the hurt she had felt over the realization turned into slow flames licking at her heels. The heat grew more intense the more Gabriel and Adrien spoke, the more she looked at Emilie Agreste in that stupid coffin and the more she felt the presence of Nathalie behind her, quiet as could be. It was suffocating and she knew she was trembling and she hated to think these jerks believed for one second that it was out of fear, because it wasn’t, it was out of pure unadulterated rage. Things seemed to be happening in slow motion around her as she tried to rein in the overpowering waves of rage that seemed to want nothing more than for her to drown in them.

Her heart was pounding in her ears, she couldn’t stop crying, the trembling increased and she couldn’t help but curl her fingers into her palms as much as she could while being tied to the chair and all. The nails cut into her palm and she felt multiple sharp stings and a feeling of wet warmth and yet she couldn’t find it within herself to care. All she could focus on was the way her ears buzzed as she tried to focus on Gabriel, she couldn’t even make herself look at Adrien, if she was doomed she would face this head on even if everything sounded like it was underwater. She had no clue what Gabriel was spouting, Marinette had no interest in his self-important monologue, but she did care about the way Tikki and Plagg looked at Gabriel. Looked at her. They were just as hurt and betrayed as she was and that only made the fury inside her boil more. She had never felt so angry, she had never felt such hatred but she had felt fear and she hated how she felt it at that moment. She didn’t want to be afraid. But emotions were rarely logical even if they were predictable.

Marinette couldn’t tear her eyes away from Gabriel, apparently he was done monologuing because she watched as he got into a stance, one that suggested he was going to transform and all she could feel was an overwhelming desperation in combination with her rage. Maybe it was pointless, maybe it was stupid, but she struggled against her restraints with all the energy she had left as she saw Gabriel open his mouth, no doubt to transform and unify Tikki and Plagg. She could hear a cruel laugh or two when she fell on her face due to her efforts, but it didn’t matter, none of them mattered. If her fall distracted Gabriel, even if just for a few precious seconds it would have been worth it. She growled as she used the adrenaline coursing through her to somehow get herself onto her side, she was still tied to the chair but it was better than being on her face. Her nose was bleeding, her wrists and ankles were raw from struggling and yet she couldn’t and wouldn’t focus on those. She had to do something, anything!

Before she could yell in the hopes it would distract Gabriel enough to stall for time, so that maybe, just maybe, her team would realize something was wrong, she heard a whistle. Not a human whistle, more like the whistle of an object traveling at a great speed, it distracted her and thankfully everyone else. Its pitch got higher, which meant it was most likely getting closer and though Marinette wanted to hope it was her team, she just couldn’t feel any hope at the moment. Then there was the sound of impact… multiple impacts actually, like the thing, whatever it was, was penetrating the house from the roof. She could hear the panic from the others, someone yelled something about a bomb but somehow Marinette knew it wasn’t. Whatever it was though called to her rage that painted a red film over her eyes, to the destruction she wanted to wreck upon all those around, to the betrayal that had poisoned her heart. Before it even broke through into the room they were in, Marinette knew this thing was there for her and her struggling efforts tripled until she managed to get one hand free. She ignored the dislocated thumb and possibly broken finger.

Finally the thing broke into the room and washed it in a brilliant red light, a red light that seemed to only shine on and around Marinette. It was a ring. A simple red ring but it sizzled with power, Marinette could practically smell the burning metal, though it could have just been the blood that had dried under her nose. She was transfixed, this ring was meant for her, she knew it, so she reached out her hand towards it, not minding the pleading scream she could vaguely hear and recognize as Tikki’s voice. The ring slid on her finger perfectly, snugly, and that’s when the pain and her own screaming started. Her heart hurt more than she could explain before the pain was just suddenly gone and all she felt, all she could feel was rage. Pure rage and nothing else. She couldn’t even dwell on that because as the pain from her heart faded, the pain in her veins began. It was a hot burning pain that felt never-ending.

Everything burned. Her eyes burned. Her throat is burned. Her skin burned. Her very blood, BURNED . Nausea came as quickly to her as her rage had. It built and built and built till she couldn’t hold it anymore and vomited. It was anything but normal. It was violent and messy and RED and she couldn’t stop. It was like something from a horror movie, the amount was as worrisome as the color and once it finally stopped Marinette recognized the contents of the vomit. It wasn’t vomit at all, it was blood. Her blood. Honestly, what looked like all of it, maybe if she had been in her right mind she would have questioned that, she would have freaked out about that, but the fact of the matter was Marinette wasn’t in her right mind. Or more like, she wasn’t in her same mind, she felt different and was but it wasn’t something she consciously recognized. The pain was gone and in its place was power, power like she had never felt before but she knew it wasn’t at its strongest due to her not being at her strongest. She needed to heal, she needed to get better, she needed to go home.

Without much thought at all, Marinette pushed off the ground. There were no thoughts spared for how she got out of her binds, none for how she had this newfound ability to fly, none to the destruction her transformation left in its wake. The only thought on her mind was following the tugging from the ring, the call of home,

Wherever that was.

Aftermath

Orion's POV

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Nathaniel exclaimed, looking at the three of us in surprise. He had just seen his cousin and her friends admit that they were the Autobots.

"Nathaniel," Ariel remarked as she tried to calm him down, "We can explain..."

"Yare yare..." Dion muttered as he held a hand to his head.

"What explanation do you have Ariel?" He asked in an almost sarcastic manner. "If you mean to tell me that you three are why the Decepticons were suddenly pushed back to wherever they came from, THEN I THINK YOU'RE A LITTLE LATE ON THAT!!!!" The three of us all winced from his yelling. Nathaniel then took a deep breath before looking at the 3 of us. "How long have you been doing this?" He inquired trying to keep himself calm.

"For a few hours now?" I replied although it was more of a question than it was an answer.

"You serious?" Nathaniel responded, clearly dumbfounded by this discovery. He sighed and took another deep breath. "Why am I not surprised?"

"We have a lot to explain," I sighed as he pulled up a chair for Nathaniel to sit in, "You better sit down for this, it's a long story..."

1 hour later...

"So just to recap what you guys just told me," Nathaniel commented. "You three were chosen by a mystical object that sparked a war between the Guardians, the very same people who created the Miraculous like the ones that Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Hawkmoth use, and your predecessors, who fought against an entire army of sentient shape-shifting robot overlords that have been trying to conquer the planet for 2,000 years now." He took a deep breath before continuing. "And this very same relic is telling you to keep it away from Ladybug and Chat Noir because if they did somehow obtain it, they would end up causing a cosmic disturbance."

"You're taking this rather well..." Dion commented. "Usually people who find out someone they know is a superhero would freak out, demand that they stop, or tell everyone they know right away."

"What about those who keep it a secret?" Nathaniel asked.

"They usually die or are tortured psychologically," I replied with a neutral tone in my voice.

"Ouch.." Ariel winced when she heard me say that. "You could be a little more optimistic about it, Orion."

"Did you just make a pun off my name?" I asked, raising an eyebrow in disapproval of her humor.

"I plead the 5th on that," Ariel replied, her cheeks turning red at that comment. I rolled my eyes as soon as she said that.

"So?" Dion went, getting our attention.

"So what?" Nathaniel repeated, raising an eyebrow at the three of us. "You mean like, 'So now that I know about this, what do I have to say about it?" Nathaniel raised a hand to his head and took a deep sigh before going into the workshop room.

Ariel's POV

It had been a whole hour since Nathaniel went to the workshop to think about what we had just told him. In the meantime, Dion had come up with the idea of ordering pizza to eat (The toppings were Ghost Pepper and Chicken Sausage because I hated eating pork). I was in the middle of eating a slice when I heard Nathaniel clear his throat.

"I say that you guys need support." He said, surprising us. "You guys are heroes," he explained, pulling out a whiteboard and started drawing on it. "And you all have some role in this team of yours," he then drew Chibi drawings of us as Autobots. "Orion is the leader, with his Superman and All Might-like color scheme, personality, and truck mode," Orion raised an eyebrow. "As Optimus Prime, of course..." he elaborated before moving toward me. "Ariel is the only girl, moral support, and the team's heart," he then looked at me for a moment before going back to his explanation, "And eye candy for any guys out there..."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked, glaring at him after hearing that statement.

"Ultra Magnus is the muscle and sic of the group for when Optimus isn't around." He then wrote something. "You guys each have a special thing about you but you lack one specific thing."

"What might that be, Nathaniel?" I asked.

"Tech support." He replied, flipping the board to reveal a guy behind a computer with a headset on, giving orders to the Chibi Autobots. "You need someone to be the Autobots' guy in the chair."

"And you're saying that you can be that guy?" Orion realized, snapping his fingers and pointing at my cousin.

"I wouldn't say that..." Nathaniel replied, rubbing the back of his head. "I'm just saying that it'd be a good idea if someone was working behind the scenes, helping you fight the Decepticons and avoiding Ladybug and Chat Noir."

"It's a good idea and all Nathaniel," I said, getting up and walking towards him. "I think you forgot the part where tech support would be helpful."

"I'm getting to that, Ariel." He snapped. "I recently had acquired a Cybertronian computer core that came from a Decepticon warship." The three of us looked at each other before turning towards Nathaniel. "It was from a guy who called himself Fraudo."

"Fraudo?" I repeated, shooting a confused look in Orion and Dion's direction, both of whom simply shrugged.

"The point is that inside that computer core, there's an encyclopedia of Decepticons that could be used to identify potential allies and weaknesses," Nathaniel argued. When it looked like we weren't going to change our minds, he shrugged and said, "Just think about it, alright?"

"Ignoring the fact that Nathaniel might've been swindled," Orion began in Spanish, "Does anyone else think that this is a good idea?"

"Hard to say," Dion replied in Japanese, "Assuming that the computer core he bought even works, how would he be able to patch into our comlinks?"

"If I know my cousin, and I do," I argued in Yiddish, "If there's a way to make it somehow operate he'll find it." I held a hand to my chin in thought. If it does work though and if we do agree to it, what would his codename be?"

"We'd have to make sure that he has a codename that's not too obvious or stupid." Orion pointed out, rubbing his chin.

"Computron is out of the question then." I stated, "It's too obvious and too stupid to work."

"How about Underbase?" Dion suggested. "It could work and doesn't sound too dumb." The three of us looked at each other before laughing like idiots.

"Let's let Nathaniel decide." Orion decided, wiping his glasses.

"So does that mean I'm in?" Nathaniel asked, raising an eyebrow. "Because you three suddenly started speaking in languages I didn't understand at all."

I chuckled. "The answer is yes, Nathaniel," I answered.

"Neat!" He said, with a huge smile appearing on his face. "I've already got my codename!" He then ran into his room and pulled out a notepad. "I wanted it to be something that didn't give away the fact that I'm human so when you guys are out in the field, just call me Teletraan 1."

Orion smiled before shaking his hand, "Welcome to the team, Teletraan 1."

Ladybug stood on the Eiffel tower as she waited for her partner, looking at the damage caused by the Akuma that called himself Megatron. It was odd when she thought about it, the way the Miraculous cure didn't fix anything but instead brought back a Vehicon that named itself Steve, who said that it planned to pursue a career in billiards.

"You wanted to see me, M'lady?" She heard the voice of her partner, Chat Noir, as he landed next to her.

"Yeah, thanks for coming," she replied. "Chat," she started, gaining his complete attention. "Do you think aliens exist?"

Chat Noir looked at her for a moment before replying. "Anything's possible M'lady," he replied holding a finger to his chin. "We wield a set of magical jewelry that give us powers, would it not be somewhat plausible if aliens did exist out there?"

Ladybug wanted to say something to counter his point, but couldn't find anything to say. Chat did raise a good point: in a world of magic, it could be possible for other life to exist.

"What do you think of the new heroes?" She asked.

"Personally?" He answered, twirling his staff, "I think it's great that we're getting some help." He then looked thoughtful for a moment, "Though it was suspicious how they suddenly appeared when we needed said help."

"Yeah..." she replied putting a hand to her chin in deep thought. It might be for the best if we kept an eye on them, though... Ladybug thought. There's no telling as of yet if those three are secretly working for Hawkmoth.

"It's getting late, M'lady," Chat Noir pointed out, "I gotta head back for the night." After saying goodnight to Chat. Ladybug watched as the feline hero jumped across rooftops.

Chat's right though, Ladybug thought as she looked over the city. It was odd that they showed up when it was beginning to look like we'd lose. Ladybug then jumped off the tower and started swinging back to her house. In any case, she continued, opening her window before entering, Chat and I should be cautious around them. There's no telling what they're capable of...

"Spots Off." She said, saying the magic words that allowed her to shift from being the heroine of Paris to a simple maker's daughter known as Marinette Dupain Cheng.

"That was quite the day, wasn't it Marinette?" Her kwami, Tikki asked as she flew around the room before settling down on Marinette's desk.

"Tikki," Marinette began as she tossed a macaroon to the kwami, "Why didn't the cure fix everything like it normally does?"

Tikki stopped for a moment as she was about to consume the macaroon. The look on her face showed that she knew something about this. "Marinette." She started, putting the macaroon down and looking at her in the eyes. "The Miraculous Cure only works on anything that was caused by magic or magical constructs."

Marinette was taken aback by what the kwami said. The cure didn't work because Megatron wasn't an Akumatized Villain. The Autobots were telling the truth about his origins. "So Optimus Prime was right..." she whispered.

Tiki seemed to freeze up when her holder said that, a detail that went unnoticed by Marinette.

Agreste Manor, Private Sanctuary

Gabriel Agreste growled as he replayed the events of today in his head. Normally he would have taken advantage of this and certainly would have had his own computer not suddenly changed from a harmless machine into a robotic spider-like creature that kept firing at him and spewing out his questionable internet history. Luckily for him, Natalie came to the rescue when she crushed the thing with Gabriel's bowling ball. He did have to put Josef in therapy. Poor man may looked like a gorilla but after what happened, he was as timid as a newborn kitten.

"Nooroo," he said, getting his kwami's attention. "What do you of the Cybertronian race?"

Nooroo shuddered for a moment before reluctantly revealing what he knew.

Cybertron

"Please kill me..." a Decepticon named Bombshell groaned weakly as his captor continued to experiment on his frame. He had been caught trying to overthrow Megatron, a crime that was normally punishable by offlining. However, Megatron wanted to make an example of what would happen if someone tried to do so again. So Shockwave proposed to Megatron to allow him to publicly experiment on the former traitor and his other two co-conspirators Kickback and Shrapnel.

"Lord Megatron wished to make an example of you and I needed new test subjects," The shadowplayed empurata scientist replied as he tried to surgically attach an insectoid limb to his subject's torso. "This checked both boxes so to speak." He was about to test the new limb when he heard a transmission come from the monitor.

"Shockwave!" The voice Megatron spoke on the monitor.

"Yes, Lord Megatron." The scientist replied, turning towards the monitor.

"Open the Space Bridge so my troops and I may enter." The warlord responded, Energon leaking from his mouth and optics. No sooner did Shockwave do that, Megatron limped through the bridge, looking a little worse for wear.

"Shockwave!" Starscream, the Seeker commander and sic of the Decepticon army exclaimed as he and the communication officer and tic, Soundwave dragged their leader. "Prepare the operating table at once!"

"Lord Megatron is losing Energon at an alarming rate." Soundwave reported, his faceplate moving up and down to show he was speaking. "If he is not operated on soon," Soundwave calculated, helping Starscream lay their leader on the table. "He may go offline within the megacycle."

Shockwave walked up to the table and pointed at Soundwave. "Grab the power cable and plug it in directly into his power source." Starscream grabbed the cable and jammed it directly into his master's chassis. "It will be enough to stabilize him for a while." Shockwave then began walking away from the table, his fellow Decepticons joining him. "Until he's stable enough to move, he will have to be in stasis."

"My love?" The three heard a feminine voice say as a female robot walked up to them. "In stasis?"

"Nightbird..." the three all whispered at once. They all despised the Ninja Robot. She was always by Megatron's side and was a suck up to whatever he did.

"Will my love be alright?" She asked, attempting to use her feminine charm on them. An attempt that failed for different reasons. Starscream was waiting for someone that was perfect in his optics. Soundwave had long ago sworn off any kind of romantic contact due an incident involving Slipstream and the wrath of Starscream along with the other Seekers. Shockwave just found it to be illogical.

"It would be illogical for you to be near Megatron as he is recovering." Shockwave replied, clearly not finding her presence at all pleasant.

"Yes," Starscream sneered, "Lest our master should somehow go offline without one of us watching any visitors."

"Megatron will make a speedy recovery as long as he is kept in stasis and no one visits him." Soundwave explained, "The moment he is awake and functional, you will be the first to know."

Nightbird sighed in relief as she walked off before transform into her altmode. "I don't know what Lord Megatron saw in her." Starscream growled, leaning against a spire as soon as she was out of earshot. "That Caminen has been a thorn in our sides ever since Megatron picked her up from the desecrated remains of Remnant and its shattered moon."

"She could a problem for us should Megatron go offline in the near future," Shockwave noted, typing as he spoke. "If he did, she could suddenly make a grab for power and have us all executed under false charges."

"The question now is what do we do?" Soundwave wondered.

"We do nothing," Starscream answered. "We just simply act like nothing is happening and go about our daily business." He turned to Soundwave, "Have one of your cassettes keep on optic on Nightbird at all times. Anything that they find odd will be immediately reported back to us." He turned to Shockwave, " You will commence repairs on Megatron and proceed on Project: Evolution." Starscream then turned his back on them, "I will assume temporary command of the Decepticons and attack Earth via scouts, slowly acclimating valuable combat data on both the Autobots and Miraculous Warriors."

"Your plan is logical Starscream save for one small detail." Shockwave commented. "Why are you leader?"

"I'm the Second in command, that's why." The Seeker Commander replied with a scowl on his face. "Now all of you get to work!"

"Ratbat, eject." Soundwave said, pressing a button his chest and summoning a purple robotic bat "Operation: Surveillance." Ratbat simply squeaked before flying off.

The three Decepticons then turned towards each other and said, "ALL HAIL MEGATRON!" Before going their separate ways.

Miraculous Cybertronian Guardian AU (Miraculous Ladybug x Transformers Animated AU)

Decided to make another AU again for fun. Hope you all enjoy!

It began after Marinette lost everything besides her parents, Luka, Kagami, Chloe, Alex and Aurore all because of Lila.

She even lost her partner when Plagg came to her with the Black Cat Miraculous as he coldly declared that Cat Noir was no longer his kitten.

Despite everything she had to endure alone and being the Guardian of the Miraculouses, she was able to claim victory over Shadowmoth and take back both the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculouses back.

Once everything was over, Marinette started taking a breather, trying to move on slowly and taking full training to officially become the Guardian of the Miraculouses.

With Master Su-Han and the Kwamis support, she was able to fully complete her training and officially became the Guardian of the Miraculouses.

After some time had passed, Marinette happened to take a walk to get some fresh as she also brought the Miracle Box with her as well.

However, she noticed too late when she was crossing the street to head home that a vehicle hit her along with the Miracle Box.

News spread all around Paris as everyone mourned to not only their hero's death but also how much she gave hope to Paris when Hawkmoth first appeared.

Each of Marinette's ex-friends got the punishments they deserved after all of Paris found out what they had done to her.

Lila got the worst out of them all...

It would take time for them to slowly move on from Marinette's cruel death. But they will remain strong and independent for not just her, but fir everyone as well.

It took Marinette some time to open her eyes and see the Miracle Box beside her.

Seeing this, Marinette immediately unlocked the Miracle Box to free the Kwamis out to check if they're alright.

Once it was confirmed that they're alright, Marinette sighed in relief but noticed the looks on the Kwamis faces.

When she asked what was wrong, they gave her a mirror to look into as Marinette let out a startled shriek.

Her form was different, her eyes shining blue like actual light, her body made of metal and the colors of her body frame were yellow and black.

While the Kwamis didn't know what was happening, apparently Marinette does...

She wanted to confirm it first by heading towards the nearest window, and as she thought, they were on Cyberton!

She even watched the Cybertronians roamed from below and she was in the Transformers Animated universe!

She used to watch that show when she was just a little girl back then, her favourite character from the show was Bumblebee.

She now realized that she reincarnated as Bumblebee in the Transformers Animated universe!

Soon, she started planning and made her mission:

Change and save everyone she can from meeting their demise, get into the repair crew, find the Allspark, stop the Decepticons, and save Cyberton.

With the Kwamis help and support, she might make a difference in this universe.

However, things will start to get even stranger as Marinette/Bumblebee changes her world from the original universe, for better or for worse...

Headcannons:

After Marinette became Bumblebee, she went by that Cybertronian name since then, but let the Kwamis call her Marinette when they're alone.

When Marinette/Bumblebee and Kwamis didn't join Autobot Boot Camp yet, they were trying to figure out how to use the Miraculouses in her Cybertronian body since she doesn't have a human body anymore.

It took some time, but they eventually figured it out.

(Also, this part of the headcannon was inspired by @moonlight-tmd God Sparkling AU because this is where Primus and Unicron come to this AU)

Both Primus and Unicorn immediately appeared in Marinette/Bumblebee's life before she joined Boot Camp.

And by appeared, it meant they suddenly revealed themselves in front of her and the Kwamis when they were alone as Marinette/Bumblebee let out a startled shriek.

Though they weren't in physical form, they were in transparent form.

Despite Marinette/Bumblebee knowing both Primus and Unicron were ancient enemies in the past, the way she sees them fighting in her point of view along with the Kwamis is like...a divorced married couple.

She figured the days and times of being planets must have made them a bit soft or rusty.

Strangely enough, both ancient Cybertronians saw her as their own child.

While Primus calls her "My child...", Unicron calls her Mari/Bee...

Though she cares deeply about Prim and Uni (she called them by their nicknames from time to time), they can be very exhausting for her to listen...

Mostly for how much they argue a lot...

She managed to save Elita as she used both the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses to hide her identity and immediately left the scene after making sure Elita was safe.

By the time she entered Autobot Boot Camp, she first befriended Bulkhead by the second she saw him.

She mostly stayed away from Wasp and Longarm (aka Shockwave) during her time there.

Though she unawarily attracted attention no matter what she did.

Back at Autobot Boot camp...

She tried to get others to think she was the Decepticon Double Spy as part of her plan and prevent anyone (mostly Wasp) from getting imprisoned and going insane, but someone was trying to get their suspicions off her, making her confused on who would do this.

And this is where the headcannons end here since I don't have any more things to think about. Also, I also decided to put the love interests here:

Wasp, Longarm/Shockwave, Prowl, Blitzwing (though I don't like him much, it is one of the most famous ships in TFA), the Jet twins (Jetfire and Jetstorm), Blurr, Rodimus Prime and Hot Shot.

Bug-a-boy ~ Luka & Adrien x Male Reader

Idk about this one... but I wanted to write it. Basically a miraculous holder reader x adrien and luka College Au: Luka - 19 / Adrien - 18 / Reader - 18 word count: 1.2k m!reader (no genitalia mentioned) / FDNI

Your college class is huge

But it's to be expected, you do go to the most popular college in Paris

You share the class with a group of friends that came from Francoise Dupont

Luckily, the groups appointed leader befriended you pretty early into the year

Marrientte Dupain-cheng was the kindest girl you knew

And her friends: Alya, Nino, Adrien and Sabrina weren't too bad either

Actually, you liked them a lot, and you were glad that they wanted to be friends with you

There was also this other guy from the year above, Luka

You didn't talk to him much, but the others were fond of him

But the few times you two did talk, he was nothing but calm and welcoming

All in all, you love your college and your friends

However...

The one setback to coming to Paris for school, was the Akuma's

After Hawk-moth's fall, a new owner of the Butterfly miraculous came to power

But to counteract that, Paris has its own team of Miraculous bearers

The only problem was, currently, Paris has no ladybug...

During a massive fight against a very powerful, akumatized villain, Ladybug was hit, and her powers disappeared

Well, not literally, she remained transformed, however the villains power made it as if she were a regular adult wearing a superhero costume...

After sending Chat Noir, Rena Rouge and Viperion off to distract the villain, a now powerless Ladybug was running over to your college

After swapping out her miraculous from the Ladybug to another one, "Ladybug" finds you, hidden inside of a locker

"AHHHH! ANOTHER VILLAIN!" You shout, not recognising Ladybug with a new miraculous

"Not quite, (y/n)" she chuckles

"It's me, Ladybug. But my miraculous has been rendered useless..."

"Oh... I'm so sorry, Ladybug, wish I could help you somehow" you sympathise

"There is." Ladybug looks into your eyes with determination

"(Y/n) (L/n), here is the miraculous of the Ladybug, it offers the power of creation. I entrust you with this miraculous to fulfill my role while I can't, after that, you're to return these earrings to me - understood?" Ladybug explains with a grin

"Yes, Ladybug! I won't disappoint you"

After putting on the earrings the kwamii appears, explains the whole shtick and you get going

"Tikki, Spots on!" You shout and then you're set

"Once I'm fixed by the miraculous ladybugs, I'll use the horse miraculous to teleport you back to me, okay?"

"Of course Ladybug!"

And you were off, using your yo-yo to swing around the streets of Paris until you reached the action

A now powerless Rena Rouge trying to distract the villain as Chat Noir and Viperion try to figure out a plan while fighting the thing

"What the fuck..." Chat mumbles when you catch his eye, waving at him in a coy manner from a roof top

Both men watch you, confused as you jump down to them

"Who are you? Where's Ladybug??" Viperion questions frantically

"She decided to pass her miraculous onto me for a little while until we solve this little issue"

"Fine by me as long as you know what you're doing, bug-a-boy" Chat noir slyly remarks as he leans on his pole

"Bug-a-boy... I like that" you giggle and then get to business

Immediately you call on your lucky charm

"Yep, defiantly a real Ladybug holder haha! What you gonna do with that bugg-a-boy" Chat noir laughs as you hold onto a seemingly useless looking lucky charm

"I do, actually!" You say with a smile

"Just follow my lead boys, if you can keep up" you chuckle as you use your yo-yo to swing into action

"Damn, that boy has more charisma than you Chat Noir" viperion chuckles

"He does, doesn't he..."

The two of them follow you quickly

"Rena! I'm gonna need you to get that thing under the arc-de-triumph!" You shout as you wizz past

"I'm on it"

"Viperion, once that villain" is under the Arc, use your second chance immediately please"

"Of course bug-a-boy" viperion smirks

Chat Noir looks at you smugly

You start to mark X's on the Arc using the bucket of paint your lucky-charm gave you

"I can see where this is going" the black cat chuckles

"Then you know when and where to use your cataclysm, kitty noir" you tease and spring into action when you see Rena Rouge and the villain coming your way

Once the villain is under the Arc, you use shout for Chat noir

He heads to one of the marks but before Chat can call his power, Viperion shouts

"Not that one! Try the one below it"

And so, once Chat Noir cataclysm's the Arc, it crumbles to pieces and buries the villain, one of the pieces crushing his akumatized item

"Bye bye little butterfly" you say with a chuckle, as the 3 other hero's watch you

The 2 men chuckling as a faint blush cover their faces

"Not a bad job for your first time, bug-a-boy"

"Do you really need to flirt with every Ladybug holder, Chat?" Rena jokes

"Yeah! Look at him, he's creeped out by you, he'd much prefer a snake over a cat" Viperion joins in

"What is up with you two"

"Haha, I like this team.... Miraculous Bug-a-boy!" You shout as you throw up the lucky-charm

5 seconds later, a portal appears next to you

"Good work, everyone!" A horse miraculous bearing Ladybug pops out

"Ladybug?!" Everyone questions

"Good job picking this one, Ladybug" Viperion chuckles as he puts an arm on your shoulder

"I look forward to seeing you soon again, mi'lord~" Chat Noir teases as he kisses your hand

"That's enough Chat Noir, you'll see him soon enough!" Ladybug chuckles as she brings you through the portal after your goodbyes

After handing back the miraculous, life went back to normal, except that Ladybug started to call on you more often, but with a different miraculous this time

Life at school was normal as always

However when you were out with the hero gang, you'd noticed Chat Noir and Viperion becoming cosier to you than they were to the others...

Like when Chat Noir started bringing you roses every time you were called on

Or one time, Viperion used his second chance to have "a perfect conversation" with you during patrol with you

You were flattered, but a little worried that the two were taking it too far

It had gotten to the point where the two of them were fighting, passive aggressive remarks and even disrupting fights against villains with their arguing

That was until Ladybug struck then a deal

"I will tell you his identity if you both stop this bickering, its becoming a problem. If you don't, I will take your miraculous"

Of course they both agreed

And that's when your school life changed as well

Because Adrien and Luka started bombarding you during your school day

Adrien already sat next to you in class, but during lunch Luka was on you like a snake to a rat

You were getting overwhelmed, but then again you loved the attention you were getting from them

After all, you hadn't ever had a boyfriend, this could be a nice change

Soon, the two of them started noticing that the other liked you

So they decided to combine their efforts

"Which one of us do you like the most!?!?" The two of them shout at you in frustration after weeks of trying to win you over

"I... I don't know! Okay?! I like you both... I don't wanna hurt one of you by rejecting you for the other"

"Then.... date us both?" Luka suggests with a smile

It took some convincing but the two of them managed to convince you

And life has been so much better since
