are the DR kids already born by the time the first 3 books take place

Assuming the kids are between 14-16 during DR, then with this timeline in mind:

In the Show!Complacency Route, the kids would be born approx. three years before Book 1, and Lloyd is approx. ten years older than Arin (so right now in Book 3, Arin is 3-4)

Otherwise, in the Cam!Route (which is a longer span of time Post-Crystalized to DR) they wouldn't even be born until around 20X2 (2012), making Lloyd approx. fourteen years older than Arin

If this is an indirect way to ask if the DR!kids (or at least just Arin) would show up at some point, it's possible, but it wouldn't be until the later books :d

Out of all of your bigs, who had the hardest time adjusting to interacting/living with tinies?

ok so I saw this, thought about it. Then got distracted and finally can sit down to answer again

So I think it depends on the setting they're in, but focusing on a world where they're "normal/giant" and find out "tinies/humans" exist:

so Vitus when he's just suddenly around smalls. Like he's usually good when he knows about tinies, but suddenly thrown in he'd be a mess. Heavy steps, too loud, lots of stern gazes that are more him thinking and accidentally scaring smalls.

Ash can have a rough time too. They'd be waaaaay too careful. Constantly hesitating and probably annoying the tinies who trust them. Some would certainly love how Ash is.

Felix for sure. He's not a super open person and it's kind of shown with the ice cube short. He's more likely to kind of disconnect at first. Like he'd be more likely to sort of ignore them when there's no immediate connection for him. A random tiny would have a Felix that only really starts to show he cares when they've lost it around him.

Ryder would need a lot of adjusting. He's loud and a bit dramatic. Would get excited to learn about them. He'd also do a lot that he doesn't realize is terrifying for someone so small. When he learns he'd be one of the best giants/bigs to be around.

Mira's not a great giant at first. She's incredibly curious about things and would wind up either observing to figure out how human they really are or just straight up trap them. Once she realizes they're basically human would let them go, but her habits would lead to a lot of unintentional fear for the smalls

Corus has the issue of his anger. When he's gotten better control of it he's pretty good at adjusting to smalls.

Sola and Luna have the whole being kids thing going so almost always rough for tinies to get used to them. Luna is a lot better and kind of gets Sola controlled since she's excitable and impulsive.

Kyrie in a case where he's comfortable in his own skin can be bad at first. He'd be intimidating since he's taller than is pretty average for folks when I write him. He'd have heavy steps, loud voice, and his own curiosity would get the best of him. He'd be quick to annoy smalls partly cause he'd be overprotective. Easily the kind of big who will try to do everything for the small until there's some argument about it. I should probably write something with this can't really use the dreaming soul mates thing since he has a solid understanding. hmm maybe it would make him worse though. He wasn't perfect at the end of that story

I'm a bit of a Royai crackhead but I love FMA universe in general, so considering East and North do joint training exercises, how do you think it'd go with your OCs in it?

Thank you so much!!! Royai is top tier, i love them sm (Casther and Val actually have quite some similarities). Had a lot of fun doing this and originally I wanted to draw some interactions between Mustgang and my ocs. But I ended up fixating on Royai and Casther and Val. Oops.

Overall I think these joint exercises have a history of East and North competing for who has the better soldiers (which is exactly where the rivalry between Olivier and Roy comes from). So at the same time we have the Mustgang/east group that are just as much dumbasses as those at Briggs, so it would be a big mess.

More encanto prison AU thoughts! I imagine Mirabel visiting Bruno often and giving him fun things to do before actually getting him out. I know someone who gave a relative little craft kits in prison and he would make them and give them back to him (of course that irl relative wasn’t framed but that’s irrelevant lol). It’d be cute if Mirabel did something similar waaaah I’m emo.

It IS a family thing! It comes from Caroline’s side of the family, and while Jesse and Cam will always have the marks, Miranda only has them sometimes~

(…I haven’t actually decided what it is though—weird dimples, eye wrinkle, hereditary birthmark, random lines—BUT I put it there since the majority of the main cast had some kind of stand out facial feature and I wanted Jesse to be included :P)
