I went to a LGBTQ friendly thanksgiving, a Friendsgiving which I don’t think I’ve ever had before because it was so cool. I did meet a woman, (I met a lot of people that night) and this lady was a fellow #browncoat which made me actually really giddy. I can’t tell you how often there is a random #fireflyshow strewn into my conversations or artwork. I even used to try to find a way to fit a #serenity project into every semester. It was fun to talk to another person about the geek spiral that happens. The collections… glad I am not the only one.

If you do move to Minneapolis, you can look up community-based jobs on minnesotanonprofits dot org! Or minneapolismn dot gov. Or bookstore jobs; you know Minneapolis has PLENTY of those, some of them would have openings. I would really recommend looking for housing in Lyndale/Uptown or North Loop areas, too! I loved those areas.

I know if I decide to go through with it I'll be working on climate projects for Americorps (already have an interview scheduled for that and I have no reason to believe they'll turn me down lol) but that only lasts a year and who knows what I'll be doing after that... thank you for the advice I'll keep it in mind 👍
