Mini Superleggera Vision, 2014, by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. A roadster version of a Mini that was unveiled at the Concours d’Elegance at Villa d’Este and displayed at the 2014 Paris Motor Show but remained a one-off.

Poppy needs a locker buddy

Next / Last On campus, Poppy needs a locker for her art class, the only way to receive one is to find a locker buddy. (It's a legit thing on my campus so it'd be funny to use this as plot.)

Also, this is my first mini-comic, any constructive criticism via DM's is welcomed!

Here's a lovely 1850 country house in Languedoc-Roussillon, Aude, Carcassonne, France. It has 17bds, 11ba €2.835M / $3.08M. But, look at what comes with it-

A mini gothic cathedral. We'll tour the house first, then go inside the chapel.

The 1850 home was renovated and it's light and bright, but still retains an old world feel.

In the large dining room, the wainscoting is still there, but they've painted it gray. The doors were left original, though.

The kitchen has very modern cabinets, but they were made to fit into the original footprint. A table was attached to the island to make it a true eat-in kitchen.

There's also a delightful terrace that feels like you're sitting in a gazebo. The property has a pool and that might be it, in the distance.

The library has a nice fireplace and lots of built-in shelving.

Thru pocket doors is a spacious main-floor bedroom.

Either the main floor bedroom or this one could be the primary. It looks like the owners use this one. It's spacious and has a lovely fireplace.

The tub in this bath looks like a giant bowl.

This is a lovely bedroom. It's pretty big, too.

The rustic family room has an interesting large fireplace, tree trunk beams, and a mezzanine.

The mezzanine includes a large casual TV area.

A lower floor was made into a 2nd very big kitchen/dining room combo for entertaining a large group, maybe a venue for wedding parties.

Now the chapel that looks like a mini cathedral. This would be a great wedding venue.

The ornate gothic carving in here is amazing. It has an altar behind an iron railing.

The stone work is no less magnificent than in big cathedrals.

This building alone is worth buying the property. It even has a small choir loft.

And, look at the details of this loft. It's just a stunning building.

The grounds are beautiful and the private lake is large enough for a row boat. There are 10 hectares of land (about 24 acres) and they include a pool that isn't shown.

Mini 'Mentley', 1983. An Austin Mini, remodelled with styling to evoke the classic Bentley Speed 8s of the 1920s, was named as the winner of the 2024 Hot Wheels Legends Tour UK. Powered by a a 320bhp TVR V8 engine, when boosted by nitrous through straight exhaust pipes, early trials suggest it may achieve 0-60mph in 3 seconds. The car will now represent the UK on the global stage and stake its claim to be recreated as a 1:64 scale Hot Wheels die-cast model.

Welcome to Villa De La Creme. (No, you don't need no damned landscaping. Less maintenance.) Don't know when it was built b/c other countries don't usually say, but it's in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, has 8bds, 7ba, asking $5.8M and that includes the golf cart. They describe the architectural style as a "bungalow." A $5.8M bungalow. Interesting.

The marble floors are imported Marmara marble and the chandeliers are imported crystal from Vienna.

To the left off the entrance hall is a large living room with high ceilings and wainscoting.

Then double doors open to the dining room. I don't like the wainscoting- it's kind of Craftsman style and this is a European style home.

The kitchen's very large and very white. The double doors open to the formal dining room.

There's a brick feature wall, but the description says there're rare blue Calcutta marble counters and I don't see any blue.

Back in one of the wide hallways, we're about to enter the primary bedroom.

It's gigantic. Seriously, you'd need a riding floor cleaner like they have in stores, to keep these floors.

Very large bath. Look at that- a park bench in the shower.

This bedroom is nice, with the round window.

It has a nice en-suite.

I like the en-suite for this bedroom- it has a blue sink cabinet. At least it's a little different.

The home office switched to floor tile.

Large home gym with glass walls.

Interesting. The stairs to the basement have a gate. Maybe for young children or dogs.

Nice guest 1/2 bath.

I didn't know it had an elevator.

Huge empty basement.

Basement suite. Fancy sink vanity down here.

Looks like there are a few bedrooms down here.

It's not isolated, but if you don't like close neighbors, like the house hunters on HGTV, this is a good property for you.

And, you're right across the road from the water.
