A/N: I know this isn’t really Marvel related, I will make another tag list for this particular mini-series for the people who may like the series :) I hope you like it bc. I really want this to be popular because I really like it. The way this story kind of plays out is that I just write a chapter on the spur of the moment, kind of like a request? So one chapter may be hella angst and the other may be like. Hella funny- Idk you’ll get the gist. 

Summary: When a New York kid moves to a small countryside, surfing vibe town. He meets a crazy group of ragtag ragamuffins that work at the local convenience store. 

"God Damnit!"

"Jesus fuck!!" I hissed, throwing my head back in agony as everyone laughed, "You son's of bitches- you know I hate playing UNO!!" I screeched. "Haha- Nah it's just that you suck ass at it. Don't be but hurt." I grunted as I threw a bag of Taki's at Alexander's face.

"Shut up you grease monkey." I seethed as I slammed my cards on the counter, "Aye, ma' don't be calling me no grease monkey. Who went out of his way to fix your car-"

"That wasn't even broken! I just had a flat tire." I yelled over him, he sighed. Holding his hands up in defeat. "I dunno what to tell these broads, they want you to do nothing and everything for them. Jesus. " He hissed, "Bro, this isn't Grease get a grip." Mateo laughed, I glanced at Jullian. Scrunching up my face as I looked over his shoulder. "Whatcha dooin?" I asked, he flinched as he looked up at me. "Uhh, I-I uh. That new kid Sean Mandelli is coming in from New York. So the student council is gonna welcome him-"

"Ughh lame!" I exclaimed as he rolled his eyes. "I wonder what he's like," Charlie stated before slapping his card onto the table. Causing a large uproar from the other boys. "I wonder if he's gonna try and take a job here-"

"Yeah Ellie, why don't the other chicks work here?" Jullian asked, I smiled. Patting his shoulder as the other smirked. Jullian looked around in complete question as he waited for an answer. "Girls don't work in this town smart ass. They don't touch a damn horse if their life depended on it- and don't even get me started on the fake surfer girls in this fucking town. Hell, they wear forever 21 and other bull shit clothing in this small confusing town. Now you tell me why they would want to have this job?"

"W-Well that still doesn't make sense as to why there are only boys and one girl working here-"

"Jubby, please. Just stop worrying about it, it's not bothering you is it?" He nodded his head no as he continued to work, sometimes I thought the same thing. But then again, being stuck with these heathens isn't so bad... But you'd have to slit my throat for me to say that out loud.

Today was a hot Saturday afternoon, Charlie, Me, Jullian, Alexander, and Mateo were the only ones in today because of the others after school activities. But it had me thinking, Sean... Damn another dudes name I don't want to remember, god forbid if he came in here for a damn job. I already have enough testosterone in my life as it is-

"Fuck a spider!" Charlie screamed, everyone jumped up and hopped over the counter. Cursing and crying as they kept a deadeye on the small spider. "Y'all a bunch of straight ass pussies..." I muttered, crossing my arms. "Are you gonna kill it?"

"Me?!" I scoffed, looking back at Charlie as he fanned me over towards the crawling spider. "Yeah be the big girl, miss manager." I rolled my eyes as I walked over towards the spider, cupping it in my hands before walking towards the door. "You go, queen!"

"Yes, bitch! Kill the spider!" Charlie prayed. I rolled my eyes before letting it outside, letting it crawl out of my hands and off to the grass. I walked back inside with a; "Y'all straight wimps."

"No no no. I prefer the term... Uh, cautious. That could have been poisonous. " Mateo smiled, "Guys please, keep this shit up. Because I swear to you. I'm allergic to bullshit!" I walked over towards the counter as everyone walked back to their UNO game.

"Oh, shit- it's the new kid- SHUT THE HELL UP IM ON THE PHONE," Jullian screamed, before answering the phone. "Hi, Sean how's it going?" He slurred, taken aback at his mood switch, Charlie and Mateo laughed quietly while punching each other. "Like a two-faced fucking Gemini," I muttered before grabbing the towel and wiping off the counter. Charlie snapped at Jullian, mouthing to him put him on speaker!

Jullian sighed before putting him on speaker. "So how long is the drive to WoodPine?" Jullian asked. "Uhh, maybe around ten minutes-"

"TEN MINUTES?!" He screamed. "Oh my god- O-Oh my god- That's great! Uh, we'll meet you there-"

"Are you okay Jull-" Jullian ended the call before the poor kid could get a word out. "I-I gotta go, El. Can I please take some-"

"It's coming out of your paycheck." I sighed as I stocked the chips. He whispered a bless you before running and grabbing all of the snacks before running out. I smiled, enjoying the soft silence of the store. Enjoying the silence and being able to hear my own thoughts.

"He sounded scrawny-"

"Damn it Charlie do you ever shut the hell damn up?!" I screamed from the isle, I could hear their laughs as I continued stocking the bags of chips.

Sunrise Is Underrated: Frankie Morales

Decided to try and do a mini fluff series comprised of flash fiction posted throughout the day. Here's the first piece!

Pairing: Frankie Morales x Neutral Reader

Words: 400

Warnings: mental health, recovery (not graphic at all)

Summary: Frankie trying his best and doing great at it.

Frankie was trying to be more proactive in his recovery and you loved that.

Waking up to him getting out of bed at 4am, not so much.

He’d always try to sooth you back to sleep, rubbing you back and murmuring soft words until you stop stirring. But bed was never the same without him. It was too cold, too spacious, reminding you of when he used to go away for long periods of time and you just hated it.

It wasn’t long until you were dragging yourself out of bed, visiting the bathroom before padding your way outside where you knew he would be.

Summer had always been Frankie’s favourite time of year. The early morning breeze was a comfort, the trees that outlined the woods at the bottom of the garden rustling gently. Early morning birds sing in the distance, slowly beginning to wake up themselves. Pinks and oranges and reds painted the sky, mixed with stars that hadn’t yet faded.

You pulled yourself further into the hoodie you had grabbed in your sleepy faze. Shuffling along the deck, you plonked yourself down on the swing chair, a slightly too cold coffee placed in your hands upon contact.

Art supplies dotted the small coffee table. An extra sketchbook. A few packets of those fancy pencils you had brought Frankie for his birthday. Some paints that hadn't been opened yet.

Usually, he was very protective over his work, not letting you see it until it was done if at all. Every time you tried to sneak a peek over his shoulder, Frankie would quickly turn away and claim something absurd that he wasn’t a good artist which was bullshit. You’ve seen some of his works from high school hanging in his mother’s house, he was great!

That morning he didn’t seem to care as much. Frankie let you peek over his shoulder at his page, a mess of pastel colours blended together perfectly to match the colours of the sky. Some faint pencil lines were dotted about, some rubbed out, outlines of trees and a few rogue birds scattered in the foreground.

‘I woke up happy today.’ He explained, voice was still rough with sleep, but you could hear a smile creeping through all of that, ‘It doesn’t happen a lot. I wanted to remember it.’

Your brain was still not working at full capacity. Not knowing what to say, you planted yourself against him, cheek smushed into his shoulder as you watched Frankie work on his happy piece.

Then once she has done that–once she has implemented that structure, use her common sense, got the plane in the air and got back onto the flight plan and the flight path, she can then implement the system, the auto pilot and then she just adjusts course as needed. If they try to implement a system on the runway, the plane would never get off the ground. Must have a structure first, systems will then follow.

Summary: You like to watch the sunrise on Tatooine, Din, not so much.

Years after finding yourself in this new galaxy, you decided that Tatooine felt more like a home than Earth ever did. The people were better, the scenery was better, everything was just better.

You always asked the Mandalorian to stay a little longer whenever you came back for a visit. Just a few hours or an extra day. If anything, you just wanted to see the sunrise. And usually, he said yes, later finding out he had the inability to displease you.

You’d find yourself sitting alone just outside of the Mos Eisley spaceport, the little hill it sat on giving you the perfect view of the city nearby. Peli was always asleep, you made sure of it, knowing she would have a few words about your safety and wellbeing otherwise.

On an off chance, Grogu would join you. It wasn’t common. Even seeing him awake before sunrise was a bit of a shock to the system. But when he did make it up, he enjoyed every moment of it, chasing the bigger bugs that scurried along the sands, cooing and holding up his new prizes for you to admire with him before downing them in one gulp.

He would wear is little body out quickly, though, coming to sit next to you on the dunes or forcing himself on his lap as you watched the suns creep up into the sky.

And the sky was beautiful. A scene you would only expect to find in pictures or some nature documentary. The dark blacks and blues of the night faded behind the molehills of sand, leaving way for the bright pinks and reds of a new day. The brighter, golden sun always appeared first; the best days were when it was hidden slightly by the clouds so it wasn’t too blinding.

It was the red sun that always got you. It always came up an hour later, but it was worth the wait. The deep, blood orange was unworldly, swimming with deeper tones of yellow and blue, big enough to be a planet in its own right.

The Mandalorian had never seen the appeal of the suns. They were always a bit too warm and obnoxious for his liking, plus there was always something more productive he could be doing with his time. But as he set out far too early for his liking, past the walls of the Hanger and a bit further down the hill until he saw the silhouette of two figures, he came to realise how a sunrise could be underrated.

Okay getting back into groove art wise after that mini brain vacation! I decided to sketch out my Fan GELFs (A species created by my dear friend @chaz-serir Pastel Four! Its been forever since I last drew them and decided to work on their outfits a bit X3 From top to bottom we have Lucy, McKenzie, Jude, and Julia GELFs. I'm super happy with how cute the sketches and outfits came out X3 GELFs are fun to draw and are a good cheery guys to doodle.

Original Purpose: Mckenzie was made for a Floral arrangement company to attract customers and to do the big orders such as wedding floral arrangements.

Current Job: Still works for the same company with her twin sister, mainly because interviews makes her have mini panic attacks.

Physical Description: McKenzie is about 3’4" and has a bit of a pear shape going on. The fur on her head is shoulder length that was made to mimic hair and is dyed blonde. McKenzie’s eyes are round and light blue in coloration. On her Right eye is this bright golden yellow star patch along with golden yellow freckles. She is mostly white in color with a sunny yellow covering her shoulders, back, and tail with Golden yellow spots mimicking her Twin's markings. McKenzie has floppy ears like an itanta with the same thing mimicking her pattern. Her tail is rather dog like and has a golden yellow dip on the tip. The fingers are golden yellow while her feet have no markings.

Clothing: Mckenzie’s clothing consists of a pair of green pants, green apron, and a white long sleeved turtle neck with the business logo on it that is usually hidden by the apron. McKenzie, like Lucy, doesn’t like wearing shoes at all and is often barefoot. She also has these piercings on her ears that mimic a corset piercing that helps pulling them back when she’s working. Both McKenzie and Lucy have this connectable Battenberg cake necklace charms back when they were at the lab before their dye job to tell them apart. McKenzie's Charm is Yellow on top and pink on bottom with a yellow rose on the back. This is how the twins got the nickname of 'The Battenberg Twins' both at the lab and at the Florist shop.

Other: McKenzie while she is identical to Lucy, is the more timid and easily frighten of the two. McKenzie likes to stay hidden at times and takes a lot of time for her to warm up to anyone to talk with them. McKenzie is fragile and very prone to crying if startled enough. Thus, she rarely ever talks to anyone other than her batch siblings. When she is interacting, she's rather blunt on some things but its not mean natured, often she's more meaning to help. Mckenzie is also pretty creative too and imaginative, making sock puppets on her spare time. Currently McKenzie is frighten by this really creepy looking GELF she calls Bek and will hide in her room if she comes up.
