New information discovered about losing mob vote mobs!

On the October 2023 Mob Vote official Bedrock world, we get blurbs detailing all of the loser mobs, including new information on some! Most notably: The Ostrich would have dropped a special feather for crafting The Copper Golem would've pressed levers as well as buttons The Meercat would live in, and pop out of, burrows

I am not a brave man.

Bravery is acting in spite of being scared. I may look brave, but the truth is, I simply don’t get scared very easily.

But when I do get scared? I’ll scamper away like a meerkat.

I’ve played literally dozens of acclaimed horror games, but I’ve never felt a tinge of anxiety. Which is good, because I hate being anxious. I mostly just like to ogle the monsters and admire the imagery.

To this day, no horror game has made me feel any sort of looming dread.

Except one.

Minecraft.

FUCKING MINECRAFT.

As a horror game veteran, I have never, EVER had the controller shake in my hands since I was twelve. It’s been a good streak.

I’m not planning on going back to The Deep Dark anytime soon, that’s for sure.

Thinking about the dsmp furry/beastar au but i dont have to think about how it would play in the animal society bullshit and i just chuck them in the minecraft server still with the minecraft system, they are just there and now animal people with fucked up instinct.

Before she passed away when I was 8, my Nana had started to teach me how to crochet and cross stitch. After she was gone, I didn't have anyone else who taught me or encouraged me to build on what little skill I had. All that to say, I bought a crochet kit online a month ago to see if I would enjoy it, and have been using most of my spare time to make fun things for myself and my loved ones. These are just a handful of my favorites. I've also made 3 frogs (one that you can find in a previous post that has a mushroom hat and glows in the dark), 2 fish, a snake, a little flower hat, a flower creature, and 7 other ghosts. I'm working on a meerkat right now, and then I'll be starting on an elephant and a minecraft creeper for 2 of my nephews.

categorizing mobs pt 2

welp. saddle up cus this will be a long one. if you havent seen the first part, go check it out. basicly i categorize mobs based on what they are, how they act and why they are here. this will add scrapped mobs, mobs from the spinoffs and more. ready. lets do this.

ok some of these mobs are a bit absurd. cus they are. most are minecraft earth mobs like the fish in chaps, (it looks so funny-) mooboom and more. u might not know them cus they are scrapped mobs.

finally, amphibians! lets do this.

amphibians: frog, axolotl, tadpole, strider (?) fearless frog.

Some people in the Minecraft community want meerkats, but what about our mere cats is so unappealing?

In case I never mentioned it, the universe Steven and Alexa from Champion Game are from is supposed to be Minecraft's inevitable final version, which, among other things, gives savannas baobab trees, termites with mounds, and ostriches, the deserts have palm trees, meerkats, and oases, badlands have vultures, tumbleweeds, and a kind of flowery cactus, and has every participant in the MINECON Earth 2017 mob votes as part of the world (because the losers will never be added into the vanilla game; those losers are the Barnacle/"The Monster of the Ocean Depths"/Mob A, "The Great Hunger"/Mob C, and the Wildfire/"The Hovering Inferno"/Mob D, the latter of which was later added into Minecraft Dungeons), the losers of the Chinese vote (the Panda won against the Chinese Alligator, Snub-nosed Monkey, White-lipped deer, and the possibly extinct Baiji dolphin), Mooblooms (and buttercup flowers), Iceologers, Glares, Copper Golems (and copper buttons), Rascals (as in, the one that lost the 2022 Mob Vote), Tuff Golems, 2D fireflies that are two pixels long (and therefore an accurate size), and red dragons (that, unlike that world's Ender Dragon, can land and doesn't destroy blocks).

okay so like in the context of minecraft roleplay and fictions, would Mole just be a community background, nationality, or a character race.

I've been thinking about this partially due to how there are so many "mole" creatures irl and then there are moles. Mole rats, mole snakes, mole beetles, etc.

I like to think that in the magic of minecraft a player can be pretty much anything. So with this there would be cultural and some adaptational differences between surface origins and underground ones due to the vast difference of environment.

So when people talk about Mole People is it actually mole based or is it based off of creatures that happen to be mole adjacent or living that mole lifestyle?

if it's a way of life and a community thing then here are some extra animals that could fall under the catagory of being a kind of mole people:

Which then leads to a likely far more controversial take that if a mole is a mammal that lives most of their lives underground in communities, then would that make Dwarves also a kind of mole?

People keep assuming Rat is a true mole base but most of the time they are actually a subterranean species of rat in most universes.

So obviously I am going for the more fun option that Mole is more of a cultural description than it is an actual race in the worlds of minecraft.

I want to see more players be unconventional Moles in games and lore.

Completely deconstruct and then redefine what it means to be a Mole and live underground.
